By now his notebook had turned into notebooks, each filled with information from observations to record keeping. He'd kept meticulous records of rach plant and what had become of it, some still remaining from the beginning of his experimenting, it all ended in one thing though - energy gathering. His plants had a purpose finally, other than surviving down here and claiming his office as their own domain, they could find a way to help the Negaverse now.
The problem now was getting a space for them, because he would very much like to have his office back, he just needed to speak to a certain person about this. He knew he could go to a General King, or Generaal Queen, but he'd rather just go for the Queen herself and present her with everything he'd gathered and make his plea to her. He needed a bigger space to grow the plants he had plus, if he were lucky, add more to the project. He couldn't fit anymore in his office, even if he tried, and his office wasn't al lthat safe for himself either anymore. "Unless I want to play sleeping beauty." He mumbled to himself as he reached the doors to her chamber.
Raising his hand he knocked slowly and stood waiting, silent and with notebooks tucked up under his left arm. This was it.

Laurelite was unpredictable. She was not guaranteed to be in the Throne Room, or even her office. Sometimes, she was in the City. Sometimes the Rift. Sometimes with Metallia. Benitoite was lucky. Her aura was strong, but sometimes she seemed to disappear entirely. A talent, it seemed, built upon her ties to the area. When she opened the door, it was with one raised brow, and a small, pleasant smile. “General Benitoite,” she greeted, in her sweet, humoring voice. “I appreciate your timeliness. I'm afraid I've been very busy of late. But you’ve come prepared, obviously.” She eyed the notebooks he carried and smiled again. “Come in. Have you made much progress?"

Bowing his head some he smiled up at their Queen. "Yes, I thought it prudent to come prepared with what I've been working on." Offering her the notebooks llightly.
"Ever since the mission where we found a way for our corrupt senshi to ascend, where I noted some floral remains that seemed too new, I have tried to grow plants in my office. I've managed to do just that, finally, but that is not why I'm here." He wouldn't bother with her time for something that simple, it wouldn't be worth her time and it would do nothing for the Negaverse. He wasn't one to waste her time, or another officers if he could help it.
"Some plants which never grow flowers have started to grow flowers; which is rather impressive. But more to the point, and where this could greatly benefit the Negaverse, is that my plants now gather energy. I can harvest it from the, which I've done. Having as many plants as I do in my office, as my testing haas proved to be very fruitful, has made my office less than an ideal place for me to work any more unless I'm tending to them." He was now working on them for short periods of time before taking a break, to regain his own energy.
"I'd like to see if I can't get a place to better work on this project, to see if I can't discover more uses for them, while setting about growing more plants to use as an assist in gathering more energy for us to store. I have ann the information in the notebooks, what I've done with each plant I've had in my care and how they responded to various tests. From changing the soil mixture to lighting and watering I've got everything written down." He would leave nothing to chance with this project of his. He'd kept it underwraps if only because it hadn't started out with this in mind. But now that it proved to be useful as well....well he needed to share his work.

Laurelite nodded along as he spoke, and she seemed genuinely contemplative as he did so. She reached out a hand in silent request to review his records. Her smile never wavered in the process, but it was by no means any indication that she was treating this as a trivial social matter. She accepted the journals and began to skim through the text. Her eyes didn’t lift from the pages. “I’m surprised it’s taken you so long to request a different space. I can’t imagine you enjoyed working in your office under such conditions. I’m glad you’ve finally seen some success with your projects, I’ve been interested in this for a while. I was hoping for good news. What does your ideal work space require?”

"I wanted to get a solid set of conditions figured out, what soil mixture, and lighting, normal water or water mixed with anything. I wanted to see what each change would result in before I did anything outside of my office. I also wanted to let those which would not make it die off rather than be brought elsewhere to die later on. At this point I'm confident enough in the methods to use and I have a general good ideaof what outcomes to expect."
"I was considerate of others and saw to my work outside of my office. I didn't have too much to worry about as everyone seemed to have no issue in my requests to talk elsewhere." Which worked just fine for him. It allowed him to continue his work and see what exactly would happen and what to expect. Of course he knew more changes, and mutations, could happen but at least he had a good idea of what he could expect.
"I actually have, on the last page, done a drawing of roughly what I'd like. It's something which I think would provide safety from the plants, as it'll be needed, but also allow acess to them in order to tend to them." It would be a good balance he thought. The design had three parts to it, on two sides where rooms where the plants would grow, while the center room was where people could observe from. A glass barrier, as noted in the design, would allow people to look into the rooms where the plants would be growing, in order to observe and take note. A door to each of the growing rooms would allow acess to the plants in order to tend to them, or move them out so they could be planted in the city. "People would enter into the middle chamber, for safety reasons of course, and could than decide if to go into a growing room. I'd rather not have someone step right into a room filled with these plants."
As he spoke the blond kept his eyes up and on Laurelite, his hands held in front of himself, as he waited to see what her verdict would be on his request. "The concept is similar to the shark tanks you find where people are allowed to walk through the tank, where the sharks can swim overhead as well as on either side of the tunnel the people walk through. It's part of where the idea came from." He'd just added doors so people could acess the plants.
"A sink in the room, for watering purposes, would be a good idea as well." He knew it was a tall order but he hoped he could get something which would work but also remain safe for everyone who may become involved in this plan. As he fell silent he let her think over what he'd said, as wel las look over everything he had laid out for her. He'd done his best and taken care to go about things in an organized manner so as to give Laurelite a good idea of what he could provide for the Negaverse. He'd written down, on some of the back pages, ideas of which plants to test their medical uses and see if they were better than their normal counterparts. It was obviously a side project that tied into this larger project.

Laurelite nodded as she listened to Benitoite. Her expression didn’t change, but it was difficult to rattle her or shift the soft smile that seemed to be a permanent fixture on her face. She delicately flipped to the last page so she could review his request while he described it. A silence fell over the room, but Laurelite didn’t seem to mind it. She took the time to review what he had offered, and then she flipped back to the first page of his report and seemed to be reviewing the data about how successfully the plants were able to collect energy. “It is an investment,” she finally answered. “But I can see that you’ve put quite a lot of work into it. Let me review with the General Sovereigns. General King Lepidolite will have the best idea to determine what funds we have to allocate towards this venture. I think we can find the space to build what you’re asking for, but I intend to be thorough. I’ll review this again and take it to him, but I don’t anticipate it should take longer than a day or two to give his estimate and set a budget for your project.”

"I wouldn't have approached you if I hadn't put in an adaquet amount of work." Something to show that he cared and that it was worthy of furthering along, of resources, and he thoguht he'd finally gotten there. Listening to Laurelite he nodded his head.
"Of course, speak with them, I would hope to speak with General King Lepidolite as well about this. I'd like to work with him, if possible, on the best ways to spread my plants through the city so they can best serve us." As well as the funds they'd need; of course. This would not be cheap, he knew it, and while he could lay hands on some money it wouldn't be without questions from family. All questions he wouldn't be able to answer.
"I would expect nothing less than you, and the General Sovereigns to be thorough on such a large undertaking. When you have the answers from them let me know and I'll meet with whomever I need to in order to get started on the next part of this." Whether that be showing off what he had, working on proper housing for his plants, or whatever else they might determine to be the next step in things.
"I'm glad to have had your time and intrest." He was glad she seemed interested and saw the value in what he'd been working on, because he was sure some wouldn't. Some did not see the vlaue in plants like he did.
"If there is anything else needed please send word and I shall make sure you have whatever it is." And he'd do so as quickly as possible; he wouldn't go making her wait on things. This was a huge relief for the blond, though he'd been confident in things, there had always been a thread of nervousness in him. She could have turned it down or even scolded him for keeping them in his office for so long. But he'd wanted as much data as he could get, as much time as he could get to have a fairly stable model for how to go about things.
"Shall I take my leave and let you continue with going over the plans?" Or did she need anythiong else from him, any more questions perhaps?

While Benitoite seemed to instruct Laurelite, or at least very vocally support what he thought she should do, she raised her eyes from the pages to observe him. She seemed amused, but it was always impossible to tell what she was thinking unless she outright said it. “Yes, well we have a bit of experience managing such things. I hope after this long you’d have faith in our methods. But rest assured, General, if I need something from you, I’ll contact you.” Her eyes were on the page again, and she flipped it over to review the next one. “You’re a busy man, I’ll be rather boring while I review this. You may take your leave. I’ll update you when I can.”

Perhaps it was nerves over this, or talking to Laurelite, but he had rambled a bit perhaps and he knew it. He was just rather hopeful for this project, and a bit eager, he had to prove himself since the last two ideas he'd had didn't go as well as he'd hoped they would. This one he'd put a lot into and it dealt with plants, one of his honest passions. This is where he needed to shine and he was hoping to.
"Of course, thank you for this meeting." Bowing once he turned and headed out of her office. He didn't have paperwork to do, he'd managed that the previous night, but he did have civilian things to work on. If this all went well, which he hoped it would, he'd hopefully get to speak to the older general king soon and work out things further. He was hopeful; he had to be.The Space Cauldron A finish for this. Perhaps a follow up rp, with the General King this time, would be good?
