Someone might think but isn't it a bit early for this? after all, we've got a whole year and the main host hasn't even been decided yet!, but it's never too early! Let's start posting up all of our amazing ideas for what next year's themes can be so that when the main host is decided, they won't be waiting for us to do this! So just post your suggestions, and I'll compile a list with links to your idea for further info. EDIT -- Try not to suggest themes that involve something that is currently under copyright protection. Things that used to be copyright protected but have since fell into the public domain are fine, but anything that is still under copyright protection cannot be used.

I would like a Zodiac theme. It could be Eastern, Western, or both!
If it was based off of the Chinese Zodiac, the primary and secondary hosts could each represent an animal, like the tiger and dog could be paired together since they are compatible. For a plot, they could be getting word out about deforestation because they're habitats are being destroyed.
For Western, the same thing with the Eastern with the primary and secondary hosts representing two compatible signs.
Eastern Vs. Western could have one of each in it, like a tiger and a taurus could run a room or something. Or a few rooms of all Eastern and then a few rooms of all Western.
Maybe?

An art theme. There could be rooms for sketching, watercolors, chalk, graffiti, and crayons or something. And then for a plot, erasers could be taking over or something and the ball is to bring out the artistic talent of Gaia to defeat the erasers. (I just had a creative spark)

Television theme, where the rooms represent different genre's, like comedy, mystery, drama, sci-fi and horror or something like that. Or the same thing, but with music.

A theme with different time periods. There could be the land before time, the Renaissance, the present and all the way up to the future.

Maybe a Game theme, where the rooms are based on games like Chess, Checkers, Candy Land, and other games from both childhood, and adulthood.

T.V. Land! The Set-Up The most influential actor of the day (would be played by host) has decided to host a ball on the studio grounds for all of Gaia. A crazed couch potato with a magical remote comes along and decides to trap everyone in the shows, as he is upset that his favorite show has been canceled due to the ball's coverage. Room Ideas Could Be:Crime Show: CSI Gaia, NCIS, Cold Case. Those types of shows. There could be a murder or a kidnapping with the culprit being a cop themselves! Costumes would be special agents or cops. Comedy This would be shows like Two and a Half Men. Somewhat mature humor, not too sexual. Costumes would be more like everyday people. Cartoons Phineas and Ferb, Spongebob, Pokemon. Stuff like that, but not exactly. Hosts would be voice actors dressed as their character. Costumes could be anything. Soap Opera The drama of it all! Rich lifestyles, shady dealings, surprise weddings, backstabbing, the list goes on! Costumes would be glamorous. Science Fiction Star Trek, Doctor Who, time travel, space, ghost hunting! The ideas go on! Costumes could be futuristic, or modern. Perhaps even historical. Sitcom The cheesy family life of the 50s! Wife stays home, father works, kids behave. A burglar could hit! Costumes would be set for family life. Reality No actors here. Survivor, Big Brother, Wipeout, Bachelor. This stuffs real. Talk A fine mix of gossip and news. This room would be perfect for keeping ball-goers updated. Additional CommentsThis is a rough idea. I understand if you need to change anything to make it more understandable. Heck, if needed, add more rooms. I was thinking the cast would be the actor's character for a bit, until the lunatic is caught. Then they can be the actor. It's complex, but I think it would work.

Let's see,
Holiday Theme: Each room is their own Holiday Town, similar to nightmare before Christmas. For those that celebrate different traditions, the co-host could represent that holiday or something like that. The Main room could be the gateway to the other holiday towns.
Elemental theme: Each room is an element of nature. Earth, Air, Fire, water, Light, Dark, Shadow, electric. Along those lines.The main room could represent the spirit or essence that ties all the rooms together.
I like the Zodiac theme but I think that was done before.
This was a suggestion of last year: a compilation room of all the balls from the past years. (Just throwing that back out as I liked it before)
Sweets theme-not sure on the details yet but an idea
Weather theme
Seasonal theme
Ok that's all I have for now.

I got one!
I'm guessing the planets and space have already been done before, but how 'bout a futuristic one in space? High up in the middle of nowhere, a large Space Station, Giant robots, techno gizmo's alien attacks.... that sort of thing.
Rooms would be made different by the varied locations in space, like say the Main Boarding Ship, an uncharted planet, an area designated as Headquarters, that sort of thing.
