Rene Merepides Glow stick fluid tastes horrible... Maybe we could stick glowing mushrooms in there instead. Or whatever is in those creepy glowy fishes. LOL! Okay, then: "It's only a bunch of glowing stuff."

It may be just glowing stuff, but it's cool glowing stuff. Just be glad it's not melting tonic, that stuff sucks...

New tonic time: Decay tonic. (; It is the reason the stuff are all decaying in the dystopian world. Because an evil witch poured decay tonic all over the world. And she poured glow-y stuff into people's eyes.
That was so lame.

I can make up a better backstory :U At a time, the wasteland was a thriveing community bound by a single rule, the great King Baun. But he was found ill and died some time later, which lead to the fall of the kingdom. Soon, the varrying islands that made up the dystopia fell into chaos, people turning on each other, and some going mad with remorse for their once beautiful home. Years have gone by, and the islands have been removed from the map. But their people continue to live on, shadowed by the king's gigantic castle.

Violet the Maestro T.V. Land! The Set-Up The most influential actor of the day (would be played by host) has decided to host a ball on the studio grounds for all of Gaia. A crazed couch potato with a magical remote comes along and decides to trap everyone in the shows, as he is upset that his favorite show has been canceled due to the ball's coverage. Room Ideas Could Be:Crime Show: CSI Gaia, NCIS, Cold Case. Those types of shows. There could be a murder or a kidnapping with the culprit being a cop themselves! Costumes would be special agents or cops. Comedy This would be shows like Two and a Half Men. Somewhat mature humor, not too sexual. Costumes would be more like everyday people. Cartoons Phineas and Ferb, Spongebob, Pokemon. Stuff like that, but not exactly. Hosts would be voice actors dressed as their character. Costumes could be anything. Soap Opera The drama of it all! Rich lifestyles, shady dealings, surprise weddings, backstabbing, the list goes on! Costumes would be glamorous. Science Fiction Star Trek, Doctor Who, time travel, space, ghost hunting! The ideas go on! Costumes could be futuristic, or modern. Perhaps even historical. Sitcom The cheesy family life of the 50s! Wife stays home, father works, kids behave. A burglar could hit! Costumes would be set for family life. Reality No actors here. Survivor, Big Brother, Wipeout, Bachelor. This stuffs real. Talk A fine mix of gossip and news. This room would be perfect for keeping ball-goers updated. Additional CommentsThis is a rough idea. I understand if you need to change anything to make it more understandable. Heck, if needed, add more rooms. I was thinking the cast would be the actor's character for a bit, until the lunatic is caught. Then they can be the actor. It's complex, but I think it would work. You forgot the sports channels.

Theme Suggestion -- Chess The main host and co-host would represent the two kings on each side of the board while the co-hosts of their respective rooms would take the role of other pieces. Some rooms would be tied to specific pieces, like the two kings [as the game and therefore ball itself] ends when of the king's room is invaded by the opposite side, resulting in captured... and rooks/castles, which are technically mobile fortresses when you get down to it.... while other rooms represent general areas. Certain players would move about between rooms on a set schedule [instead of being tied to a room], occasionally run into each other to do battle and the defeated would be sent to a room called "The Dungeon." Individuals who start out as lowly pawns can also leave their room at some point and go off to be promoted. The main negative to this one is that a chess set has 16 pieces for each side thus requiring people to play multiple parts, especially early on before characters get captured and set off to the dungeon. There would also need to be a bit more coordination between rooms, especially those on the same side. If the black side goes for a Norse/Viking theme, the bishops for that side probably shouldn't decide that they're going to dress up like they're from the inquisition. Finally, I'll say that I've seen many chess sets where there isn't uniformity between pieces. I own one which besides not being uniform [other than overall theme being Clamp's anime characters], also has extra pieces. There are two black kings and two white queens in this set:

Does anyone have any ideas for a theme that would revolve around the number 11? It would be neat to come up with something like that for our 11th year biggrin

My main thought is that it would essentially recreate a game of chess, but it would be all pre-scripted in terms of which thread specific characters will be in, when fights will break out and characters sent off to the dungeon due to being captured. There can even be a moment where an entire thread shuts down completely [in terms of it's roleplay] due to a castle/rook being captured and disabled by the opposite side... which could be surprising and unexpected. As for a theme that revolves around the number 11, I'll think on it. ^^

I just did a quick peak and found some interesting things... though many of the things could be tied into whatever theme that we choose, too! Quote: An interesting outcome of Einstein's theory of relativity was the discovery of dimensions of time and space that exist separately and distinct from the four dimensions we experience. In fact, these dimensions may even be in our midst but not visible to us. More recently mathematicians have shown that up to eleven dimensions may exist in the universe. Many physicists believe that there are places in the universe where time ceases to flow. One of these places is in a black hole. Now it is interesting that the Bible tells us that God dwells in a place where time does not flow. For centuries this concept was mocked by scientists. Such a place is now scientific fact. Is probably the most interesting thing I found, and the most versatile for our setting.

I really like the chess theme! It sounds really cool! <3
And so is the universe theme! There are so many option and so many ways to play with that, plot-wise and individual room-wise. And it could be paired up with Zodiac, since they're both spacey. Or maybe that's just me, loving the Zodiac theme. XDD
Although, 11 rooms would be way too much. We could condense it to 6, one being the main room (Earth, or something else) and then 5 others being two universes mashed together in this problem in the time/space thingy. I'm sorry if I make no sense.
And I'm sorry for bothering everyone with replying to every single thing 500 times. I'm pretty bored, and I love you all. <3
