Sabatagear PinkieKitty LilChibiusa PolishPanda123 An art theme. There could be rooms for sketching, watercolors, chalk, graffiti, and crayons or something. And then for a plot, erasers could be taking over or something and the ball is to bring out the artistic talent of Gaia to defeat the erasers. (I just had a creative spark) I like that one! xd I also want to throw out the Shakespeare/books themes again! heart Took the words right from my mouth. Classic Literature Theme! It doesn't have to be the plot of the actual book (that would be bad), but a room based off of it. I thought about this theme last year, and rooms might be something like... Moby-d**k-- What else? They're on the deck of a ship, hunting down the whale that harmed the captain (killed his parents, took his leg, whatever you want). Shakespeare-- A more romantic-themed room in Renissance style, with identity mix-ups, marriages, sword fights, Shakespearian insults, and maybe even a death or two. O_o Frankenstein-- A horror-based room set in a mad science lab! The hosts are working to bring a corpse back to life! Great Gatsby-- A 1920s bootleg party! Pool, flapper dresses, bobbed hair, and a lot of sleeze. Huck Finn-- A party on the Mississippi River! We have a classic hoedown. You could also do rooms based off of Grim Fairy Tales, Harry Potter ( iif that counts), Treasure Island, or stories of the Knights of the Round Table. There's a lot of ideas you can put into this one, without using the actual plot of the books, which people may or may not have actually read. Most people know the gist of these books. Pinkie, as soon as you mentioned these books, I got sad you didn't add an extra one here. Don Quixote. The Old man who spears the Windmills!Ah, yes! Don Quixote! See, I'll forget quite a few important ones. There's also things like Grapes of Wrath and War and Peace, if those make good rooms.

Dracula! emotion_dowant Yeah, I figure modern books within the last several decades don't count.

Captain Dory Sachie Whitby Captain Dory Maybe a Game theme, where the rooms are based on games like Chess, Checkers, Candy Land, and other games from both childhood, and adulthood. I have two comments about this one: 1. Gaia did a board games themed RIG, and it was pretty unpopular. Every other RIG this year his 95k+ while it was still current and easily went 100k+ after it left the cash shop. The board games themed RIG is still below 90k. It may have been the items itself that caused it, but it is still something to take into consideration I think.... like why did it do so badly. Was it just the items or did the theme itself not lend it towards having items that would be popular. 2. Some games, like Candy Land, are probably still under copyright. Sorry... redface Well thats why this is an idea thread. Noooooo! I'm not trying to kill your idea! I'm only expressing my concerns about it. #1 is definitely something that I think someone would need to look into. #2 only means that you cannot use specific games but please consider that Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking-Glass is essentially a book where all the characters are chess pieces. It goes to show that an entire theme can be done just around chess and no other board game if done right.

The Lands of Oz The Set-Up The Wizard who rules Oz from the Emerald City has decided to hold a ball to celebrate his arrival in the land. The Wicked Witches show up and decide to crash the party, and start running amok throughout Oz. Room Ideas Munchkin Country Here's were the Wicked Witch of the East is from. The Tin Man could also be here, as in Wicked he was the lover of the Witch of the East, well, sort of... Winkie Country Here's where the Wicked Witch of the West is from. We could put the Scarecrow here. Quadling Country This is Glinda's home. In the book, she's the Good Witch of the South. Gilliken Country The Good Witch of the North is from here. She is never mentioned by name. Dark Forest The Cowardly Lion would be a host here. Emerald City The Wizard would rule here. It's in the center of Oz. The Yellow Brick Road This could serve as a gateway and news room. Additional Comments:I'm pretty sure the copyright no longer affects The Wizard of Oz. I think that's what they said when I saw Wicked on Broadway...

There could be this lovely mansion full of wealthy aristocrats that are all falling over dead one-by-one due to mysterious blood loss from the neck. The guests have to try to figure out who among them is Dracula, who can even be posing as a guest him/herself and not be listed as part of the official staff for extra sneakiness. Sachie Whitby Classic Music Theme -- I got the idea from this one from listening to my own profile, which is Vivaldi's Winter from the Four Seasons played on an electric guitar with synthesizers and orchestra backup. Laser light show included!Concept/Premise -- Each room would be a personification of a specific piece of classical music. Like a room based on the Four Seasons would quite literally have the four seasons as characters while a room based on Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony would have have characters engaged in country life and room based on Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries could quite literally be a battlefield [complete with valkyries.] Concerns -- Besides requiring hosts to be familiar with classical music and whatever perceptions guests might have about it being too stuffy/formal, my biggest concern here is Disney's Fantasia. VIVALDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3Violinist reaction complete.

As long as we don't say specifically what the books are, we could use any piece of classic lit. I still wouldn't risk it with any modern books (if anyone suggests 50 shades of grey I will vomit on them like a demon).

Hmm a theme what about A museum with different themed rooms like a future room and a caveman room and so on. The plot could be that a strange force has sealed up the rooms of the museum and to put it back to normal the people in each locked realm must work together to collect five special objects from that exhibits time period and use the objects as a key to open a chest or something and solve a small puzzle that can be created by the rooms host or by others.
This theme could be modified a lot of ways I just had to put this idea in print before I lost it .
Sorry for the wall of text
