KinkyRice ❤ What about an Arabian Nights theme? Everyone could come dressed as Djinns and Genies :D It could be an Aladdin and the King of thieves type of setting. Actually the Arabian Nights isn't just Aladdin. It's a group of folklore tales that also includes Sinbad the Sailor, Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, and lots others that I'm less familiar with. I'm not sure what balls have been done yet but I did have an idea. How about an under the sea theme.
Characters:
Pirates, Sailors, Nobleman/woman, Sea Witch/Wizard, Mermaids, Gaians
Plot:
We could have it start out as a Cruise Ball where all Gaians go on a short cruise around Gaia on a yacht or something. (My Junior prom was on a boat with dance floor so don't say it can't happen) As the Gaians are dancing and enjoying the festivities they are suddenly attacked by the Dreaded Captian ( insert name). Some Gaians are captured, some make it to life boats to escape, and others just jump ship.
Rooms:
Pirate Ship ( for people captured or pirates)
Deserted Island ( Gaians that escaped on life boat)
Noble Ship ( Trades people and well to do people, may be rescued Gaians in water or lifeboats)
Sea World ( Mermaids, Fish, Sea creatures, & drowned Gaians)
Main Characters:
Pirate Ship ( Captian and First Mate)
Deserted Island ( Cruise Captain and First Mate )
Noble Ship ( Prince/Princess & Attendant )
Sea World ( Ruler/Neptune & Sea Witch )

Gwendolyn Barrett Let's see, Holiday Theme: Each room is their own Holiday Town, similar to nightmare before Christmas. For those that celebrate different traditions, the co-host could represent that holiday or something like that. The Main room could be the gateway to the other holiday towns. Elemental theme: Each room is an element of nature. Earth, Air, Fire, water, Light, Dark, Shadow, electric. Along those lines.The main room could represent the spirit or essence that ties all the rooms together. I like the Zodiac theme but I think that was done before. This was a suggestion of last year: a compilation room of all the balls from the past years. (Just throwing that back out as I liked it before) Sweets theme-not sure on the details yet but an idea Weather theme Seasonal theme Ok that's all I have for now. I like this idea Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I was going to say tje same thing without the elements but that makes it better

KinkyRice ❤ No no i know you started the thread, I'm just saying it seemed like you were expecting more out of me or something and I'm like I just got here gonk I don't even know what's going on really~ D: I love classic literature but a lot of my favorites [like Dracula for example] are not extensive enough to be an entire ball theme all to themselves. That one is. I was just admiring the sheer awesomeness your suggestion. heart

We touched on it slightly in High School so i do know about the Sinbad and the other parts of that theme :3 I just think it would cool, and everyone can look really mythical and sexy if they were to go all out :3

How about a video game theme? We could have rooms based off of a few different genres of games. Like FPS, action/adventure, puzzle, survival/horror, fantasy, and etc. A bit of something for everyone.

But a lot of rooms would be available from this theme. ❤ Yes, I agree, also people can make avatars for the occasion easily because there are lots of things in the shops that are based off this theme
