I really don't want to have more than 6 rooms. Until I see how many hosts we have applying I can't see a need for more than 6, and we might have less than that!

I am not sure that more than 6 rooms is a good idea because beyond that, you're probably going to be spreading staff too thin... and increase the odds that there might be some threads that find themselves a bit short on guests.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Even anything more than 6-- 7 at the very most-- rooms are going to be waaayy too much. And since I can't think of a way to make 11 rooms fit into anything smaller than the 6, maybe that might be the best choice if we're going with the universe thingy.
Or maybe we could cut out one dimension (the one we all live in) as some sort of apocalypse thing, and then we'll only have 5. And people are going to try to regain our dimension, because it's the only one we're familiar with.
Actually, now that I think about it, it's a really cool theme to play with!
I dunno, I'm just throwing things out there. My creativity has it's limits. Such as being unable to think of anything new without people's ideas. XDD

I have not been able to find any themes that deal with 11 the only thing I found deals with religion and I think we all want to avoid that. But check Wikipedia and see if there is anything of use.

I'm not too fond of this theme, but maybe that's because I'm Catholic and always finding people trying to lump my faith in with Christians as if it is the same exact faith... umm.... no. [I do mean the kind of Christians the specifically call themselves Christians and tend to be very evangelical.] There's also a problem that if you want to treat this seriously and not go around offending people, a lot of versions of Christianity are not exactly what I would call tolerant towards each other.

What abouuut... Post apocalyptic? There's lots of ways that can go~!
Colour palette? People dress up in their favourite colours and harmonising colours go in the same room? (I don't really understand the rooms yet, still a newb~)
Or Technology? You could have steam technology, analogue technology, digital technology rooms?
Science Vs Faith? (Perhaps a bit too controversial. :I)
Polka Dots Vs. Stripes (also too controversial~! ;D )
I'm just prattling on about whatever comes to mind. These may have been said before but I haven't slept in over a day, so I'm a wee bit sleep deprived and cant be bothered to check.

Maybe we could do the 5 stages of loss?
Denial,Anger,Bargaining,Depression,and Acceptance. Each stage could have a different world. They don't all have to be grim worlds. Acceptance will obviously be more happy. Bargaining could be a casino type of land or something similar. Maybe most of the hosts are oblivious of how they're acting and the guests have to try to help them?
I was also thinking of a weather/season theme. There a 6 different kingdoms scattered around this world. Some are separated by vast oceans others by walls or fences. We could have a kingdom of winter,autumn,spring,summer,rain,thunder,and maybe a pollution based one? It doesn't have to be those exact six things obviously. I would love to see how a rain,pollution,or autumn themed world would be like though xd

If we combine the two it be their four seasons with their own room, then the weather could be Rain(Hurricane, tornado, thunder Lighting), Heat/humidity, Cloudy(Partly cloudy, Clear, Different types of clouds), Snow(Ice, snow storms, white out, avalanche) and the threat to the ball could be Pollution

Oh my lord... it's been like, a whole week since I've spammed the theme suggestion!
I love the 5 stages of denial. It'd be difficult to do rooms based on them but I love the concept a lot.
I think 5-6 rooms is the ideal. I understand that there might be a lot of cohost applications this year, but the number of rooms shouldn't come down to that. It should be based off guest numbers, and obviously, we can't say for certain what that number will be. I think it'd be better to have slightly fewer busy rooms than many more rooms that are slow as slugs.
My favorite theme ideas so far are Classic Literature (has anyone heard me spam this idea enough? I need to shut up! >_<), Zodiac (always a classic), Chess, and Board Games (I'm not even checking if anyone actually suggested this theme or not, I just love it). There's probably a zillion more I'm not thinking of, though. Man, it's always so hard to pick.

What is everyone's thought on saving the Zodiac for next year? I know that it seems like the more popular idea right now, and it was very popular last year, but I would like to point out that next year will be numero 12, with 12 signs of the zodiac~
