 -=DE's Ulaya Journal=- Welcome to DE's 'laya journal, the place where I make things happen X3 Forgive me for the mess, it's still a work in progress. After Jokoa had gotten it's new guild I decided I'd do some renovations on the journal, a new look for a new guild I guess ^^ Well, this is where I keep the info on my Ulayas, mostly how it works is if the post is in an RP color then I have RP rights over the Ulaya. If it's co-owned and is in black then I prolly don't have control over that pet and if you're looking for an RP then ping a message to the other owner of the 'laya.
Bios are easy, in the RPs list if the title of the thread is between two *'s that means it's important, simple enough? Important in my mind means it's part of a plot of the Ulaya's or another one's that will be likley to be mentioned if you were to RP with that Ulaya at another time. It's part of the Ulaya's history in other words. Where they like to hang out is where they're normally found, quite possibly where they reside, or live, when they're not out adventuring. Some of my Ulayas are rarely found outside of this area so their RPs are likley to take place in that setting. Not only does it keep the Ulaya consistent with themselves but it also helps with making new RP setting ideas ^^
The history of the Ulaya is in their background *duh* and may or not be mentioned in their RPings. Some of their histories are important on how the RP but others had simply gotten over what was in their past and look forward to what is to come. I will try my hardest to keep this part updated but for the most part links to journal entries will prolly be more common then my writing it up after every update X3;
If you would some RP with any of the Ulayas in this journal that I have the RP rights over then feel free to ping me a PM or lemmie know in the main thread, I'm always in there when I'm not sleeping lol I'll more then likely enjoy starting one with you but be warned that I am notoriously slow with RP replies sometimes. That is just my disclaimer, ask anyone ... I'm good with RPing when I'm in the mood.
Please don't steal my layout, ideas or information bits from my journal. I have put too much work and time into it, if you wish to use any of it please ask me first so I can keep track of how many people have copied off from me.

Back Story
Lugia has always been kind hearted and helpful to everyone she met. This brought her lots of allies and friends through out her life time. But an unfortunate event happened, that she would just as much like to forget, causing her to separate from her family pack. Lugia searched for a long time before she came upon a group of Ulaya that welcomed her in. She still longs to find her family again one day but she feels that she is needed where she is for a little while longer.

Victon rested upon his stone perch, enjoying the cool mountain breeze and listening to the calls of a close by eagle. He often lay in his solid cave and watched the days go by, protecting his possession which had been sprawled out upon the cavern floor. Miscellaneous objects that he had collected over the years, things that were some important to him and others that simply caught his eyes and he brought back to examine more. He had a knack for recognizing rare and mystical items and kept a simple plan in his head where the more difficult ones were to retrieve. Sometimes setting out to collect these items for himself, he usually took his time going out on these quests for they were long and traitorous letting him assured that most wanderers and treasure hunters wouldn't bother their time and risk their lives getting them.
Raising his nose to the air he took in a deep breath and released it with a slow sigh. The scent of rain was filling the sky and tickled the god's nose with it's pleasant aroma, relaxing the male further. Placing his paw over the other one he raised his chin with a proud posture and felt the breeze on his face. With a smile upon his maw he opened his eyes to see the rain coming towards him in anticipation of spending another restful night alone in his cavern of treasures.
Back Story
Victon gazed at the ground where his mother's body had rested, a turned up area of soil was all that was left of his mother's body, a quiet breeze blew through the young god's hair as he lowered his body to the ground, a tear appearing in the corner of his eye. "Why, mother. Why did you have to leave me? I didn't even get to say good-bye." Closing his eyes just as the tear fell to the ground a small butterfly landed on his muzzle, tickling his nose with it's gently flapping. Opening his eyes he looked the creature down before letting out a smile. "I see... "
Plottage:
Victon had a visitor ask if he would take him on a quest to find a rare stone that is said to hold the light of a goddess. Intrigued by this though the god agreed to the mission and together they set out to find the stone of great beauty but to find themselves tangled in a world of troubles.

An Unexpected Visitor

Fallenryde sniffed the air for a sign of anything to eat, the vast planes were covered with chirping birds and squirrels scampering around for some nuts they had buried from the winter. He had a craving in his stomach for something larger and he set off to find what he might find filling. The breeze caused the long grass to dance all around him as his lowered tail flapped along with it. Climbing on top of a tall hill the wanderer gazed upon the horizon, a vast forest and hillside revealed into his sights as the lonely Ulaya prowled for something to chew on. The sunset was peaceful and was bringing him a clear, warm night, one perfect for continuing his travels on. He knew that one day he will finally find someone from his home, someone who can give him a little more hope in his life. Releasing a soft sigh, Fallenryde took a step on the other side of the hill and paced his way towards the forest's edge where he will disappear once again, into the darkness and shadows of his journey.
Back Story
When Fallenryde was just a pup he lived in a village with other Ulayas that looked just like himself. Keeping their blood line pure they mostly kept to themselves, making them completely unknown by all of the other Ulayas in the world. Fallenryde had just been placed to bed with his younger sister when screams could be heard from the village's entrance. His father, frantic with knowing what was going on, left them in their hut with their mother, a decision that would cost them dear. Malicious laughter could be heard echoing through the hillside that once protected the peaceful group from danger, it now began to hold in their cries for help costing many lives. Fallen did all that he could to protect his sister but the evil god that was rampaging crashed down their stone hut, causing injuries and damage upon his sister and mother. Fallen cried for their health and his mother picked her scared children up and ran them out of the town, hiding them in a cave up on a hill where she had first birthed them. Her worried voice told them to stay put as she went back to find their father, a promise of a mother that she will return was left as she ran down the path, never to be seen again.
The night grew thick and the flames, screaming and laughter could be heard through the entire night, making it impossible for Fallenryde to rest. He held his sister tight as the darkness faded away to the sight of wreckage and death from down the road. Leaving his sister in the cave he set off down to the village to find his parents or another other survivors that may have lasted the terrifying attack but when he got there all of his hopes were shattered. Crushed buildings cluttered the paths and lifeless bodies hung all over the place, even in the trees where he once played as a joyous pup. His eyes began to water as they caught the sight of a glistening blue crystal, the gem that was placed upon his mother's forehead. He replaced his own with hers for as long as it was near his mind he would never forget her and he ran back up the hill to his sister.
A week had passed and he was trying his hardest to care for his injured sister, a pup learning on his own how to hunt and help another survive wasn't easy for him. Sickness took over and within two more weeks she passed away in her sleep, a night Fallen will never forget waking up to. Deciding there was nothing left for him he decided to set out on a great journey, to find any possible survivors of the attack and carry on his blood line. Even if it meant spending his entire life searching, he would do it ...

"Two aether cherries, a jasmine blossom and some star moss." The arcane sprite read out to her guardian dragon, Comet, as she glanced above the book's pages to watch him add the ingredients. "Okay, that should just about do it!" Comet replied with an anxious tone. He had been trying to get his potion to work for days and hasn't been able to find the right combination of ingredients to grant the results he longed for. "Now stand back Stardust, you remember what happened last time." Taking this as a great sign to give her guardian his space the arcane sprite flew to the top of the book shelves which surrounded the room. Taking a deep breath, Comet began to mix the ingredients together in his glass beaker, taking extra care not to remove his hair this time. Slowly the mixture began to let off a pleasant scent followed by pink steam. "Did it work?" Stardust asked, wanting to be sure it was safe to come out of hiding. "It looks like it's working!" Comet got excited for this would be his first creation to succeed. He was an experienced dragon and had so much longing to create and reach a kind of knowledge that nobody has ever known before.
Stardust flew down from her perch on the top shelf and landed on the table next to the beaker. Comet looked at her as she leaned over to admire the pink liquid in the glass container, her size being barely taller than the bottle. "Now, get me a shard from the Crystalspine ridge, that's the final ingredient." Running to the edge of the table then flying up to a wooden shelf Stardust lifted a leather pouch by the string which held it shut and brought it to Comet. Reaching inside the sack the god pulled his claw out without any shards. "We're out of shards already?" Sighing from this thought, Comet put the beaker back over the heat and looked at his little companion. "I can't complete the potion without the shards, I guess we're making a trip to the ridges for more supplies." He then turned and grabbed a book off a shelf before placing it into a bag, dust falling off from it as it moved from it's place. Turning for the door Stardust flew swiftly behind him before landing on the brim of his hat.
Leaving the Starwood Strand, Comet admired the colors of autumn which was all around them, the cool breeze scented of leaves and frost danced in the dragon's hair as he made his way towards the spines. Stardust flew off from his hat and began to flutter next to him as he took his time on the pathway. "It's always lovely to come outside, we should do it more often." The sprite chuckled to herself but fell silent at the look her guardian was giving her. "We do leave the lair, Star, we need to gather supplies once in a while you know." Comet wasn't one to venture out of his lab very often, he found that all he loved and enjoyed was inside so why bother going out any more than he'd have to. The sprite, however, enjoyed going outside a little more often than he did. She really was at her happiest helping him with his studies but ever since he finished his astrology lessons with Orion he hasn't had any other reasons to take her a anywhere.
As the two continued on their journey they finally came upon the ridges which filled the sky with sharp shards which gathered in multiple focal points. "I forgot how beautiful it is out here." Comet took an old path he used to use when he lived in this area the times he was sent out to restock supplies for Orion. "Now lets see if we can find some shards ready removed from the spikes."
