Lugia basked in the warm sunlight with her eyes closed, enjoying the summer's breeze passing over her. The grass danced with the wind and the flick of her tail, wishing the afternoon would never end. Lugia had spent the entire week being active and restless, trying to help another Ulaya with a few things, it was nice to lay down and have some time to herself once in a while.
Wondering how the day was going to go after her sunbath, she opened her eyes and started watching the clouds pass over head. Letting out a rather large yawn followed by a strong stretch she twitched her tail as a passing by ant rubbed up against it. Shifting her tail from one side to another she continued to watch the sky's view being covered by white fluffy clouds.

 While walking around Rieley notices someone off in the distance. This ulaya seems to need some cheering up he thinks so he dashes forward. Slowing down when he gets closer as to not let her know that he is there. Waiting on the timing he starts to count to 3, makes it to 2 and leaps after the butterfly that floats past the ulaya calmly watching the clouds float by.

Lugia's attention had been averted to a flash of pink movement from the corner of her eye. Turning her head to see what it was she raised off the ground and noticed a young male Ulaya pouncing after a butterfly. Somewhat wondering where he came from, Lugia sat up in the tall grass and flicked some dirt from her white fur coat. Giving another twitch of her ear she tilted her head to one side and continued to watch the juvenile Ulaya at play. Not wanting to interrupt him at all she waited for his attention to be brought to her before speaking to him.

Chasing after the butterfly rieley sees a way that he might have a change of getting above the butterfly its a risky but what the hell. Rieley circles around the now sitting ulaya and runs up her back leaps into the air and lands with a loud thud missing the butterfly completely. Standing up he shakes his head as if something were bothering him. Then he remebers there was a butterfly somewhere looking around he sees the ulaya again and say," have you seen that butterfly i think that i almost had it."

Lugia let out a small laugh at the little Ulaya and looked around to find the butterfly. Unable to see the small bug, probably fleeing for it's life, she looked back down at the pink boy and shook her head to his response. "No I don't see it anywhere, I think it escaped." She waited to see what he was going to do next, wondering what was up with him and his attention span. Flicking the end of her tail once again she wanted to know what was going to happen next.

Rieley says,"dang i thought i had it this time you just wait butterfly ill get you one of these days you just wait and see. Now what was i doing before i got distracted by my arch nemesis.... Oh yeah i was going to make this ulaya laugh now where was she." rieley blushes realizing she is right in front of him. "Well my name is rieley maybe you have heard of me i'm the best prankster this side of those mountains there, pointing at a small group of hills.

"My name is Lugia. I live around here, making sure the water and grass is safe from little rascals like yourself." She lowered her head and began to prune her fur, making sure all of the grass and dirt was out of the white. She didn't like looking messy but she wanted to see what he was up to before going to her cleaning. Looking back up she eyed the water's edge, the stream flowing peacefully in the background. She pondered going for a swim but didn't want to suddenly leave the new comer alone for that would be rude so she lowered her gaze back at him and continued to watch and talk with him, never letting her smile leave her face.

"Did i do something wrong?", rieley says and then starts to talk really fast so fast that the only words that can be heard are sorry said several times in a row. While doing this he is running around in smaller and smaller circles till it looks like he is chasing his tail. After several minutes of this he trips and lands flat on his face. He sits up and shakes his head looking around he notice that there is a stream close by with something floating on the surface. He curiously moves to the edge of the water and asks, "what is that it looks like my nemesis but its not flying." Rieley inches closer to the edge of the stream maybe just a little to close and SPLASH falls in.

Lugia let out another chuckle and walked over to the water to see where he had gone to. She didn't want him to drown but then again she wasn't really sure upon that either. Shaking her head to get the thoughts out she decided to join him in the stream. Taking a swim in the water was much easier and more relaxing then cleaning herself on the land. Placing her paw into the stream's surface she slowly lowered her body into the cool fluids before sliding the rest of herself into the reflections of the sky. Swiming around in a circle she looked below her to see if she could find the younger Ulaya or not, her tail swaying side to side behind her with every stride.

Kicking frantically on the bottom of the river bed rieley stirs up the mud making it very difficult to see anything he is doing trying as hard as he can to get out of the water. With a quick kick he is sent hurtling toward the surface of the river leaping to the shore he looks around. Seeing Lugia in the water and jumps on her back. With a curious look as to what she is doing. "Why aren't you sinking to the bottom of the river like me?" While observing the movements that lugia is doing.

Lugia smiled to see that he was okay and continued to swim around. "Well you kick your feet some and you move. It's not hard to float if you're intending to be in the water." She watched him view her movements and pondered diving under but then thought against it for she wasn't cruel enough to do that while he was on her back. She would feel rather guilty if he had drowned because of her. Lowering her head to water level she watched the reflections dance on the surface, amused with the sun's light that made it look rather shiny.

Listening to what she is telling rieley he thinks that its he has figured out what he needs to do. So taking a few steps back he readies himself for a quick lesson in swimming. Running forward he leaps in to the air twists around and bats at his nemesis the butterfly that he realized had returned.
*cough*
Landing in the water he quickly tries to kick his feet while sinking a little after several coughing fits he finally figures something out and starts to move around in the water with no ease at all. Holding his breath he jerks his head quickly submerging his body in the water with wonderment as to what he has just found in the water.

Continuing to be ever so curious upon the little one she decides to join him under the surface for some deeper water swimming. Lowering her head into the liquids she slides the rest of her body into the cool retreit and with a flick of her tail in the air she was under and swiming with the fishes. Looking around her to find him she kicked at the water and glided through it as graceful as she ever could. Catching a glimpse of pink at the bottom she swam deeper until she was almost next to him, scanning the ground with her eyes to try and find what he was going after.

Reaching the bottom of the river he grabs hold of the new object he has found, curling around it so that it cant escape. He floats to the surface with the new item in his grasp trying to figure out what to make of it. When he gets to the surface he swims to the shore and places the item on the ground then proceeds to put it in his mouth. Then he bits down on the nice shinny rock spitting it out. Screaming,"Its not food. Its not food. Its not food."

Continuing to watch him she averted her attention to the surface as he raised up to the top. Turning her towards the sky she followed him back up and looked to see what he was up to. Seeing the look on his face was priceless and made her laugh some more. Swiming to the land again she took a step out of the water and shook off some of the driping beads from her fur coat as the gravity pulled her body to the ground. Sitting on the grass she went to grooming herself so that the fur was more tame and looked better.
