The sun's light beat down on the dew covered ground as morning birds could be heard waking up and stretching their wings. A cool breeze blew over the green grass covered ground, making the leaves on the tree tops dance with the reflection of the warm light. The sounds of a trickling stream flowing near an open valley was heard for a long distance away, giving the field a tranquil and relaxing feel as you walk further into the grassy plain.
Lugia awoke laying on the ground under a large willow tree. Letting out quite a large yawn she did her morning stretch and blinked at the sunlight, trying to get used to the bright glow. Looking around her she decided to get up and go for a morning swim. Slowing raising her body from the soft grass and made her way over to the stream and laid down on her belly to get a drink or clear water before taking her dive into the wet retreat.

[insert not big picture of Orez here >x>"] Orez could feel the chill of the dew on his feet and the cool air mingling with sun, so he determined it was morning, and a fine one at that. He raised his head to the sky to catch any scents that he might want to find, food, water, or anything of interest. To his suprise, it was both of the two latter. He continued on quietly, and slowly as to not bump into anything, and his still-sharp horns were a sign of his skill of navigating without sight.
He paused at what he presumed to be the water's edge, placing a single paw forward, and grinning when he realized he had been right. He leaned forward to drink, slightly uneasy at the lack of knowing where the "interest" was in correspondence to himself.

Lugia continued to drink the cool liquid, letting it flow through her body waking her up just a little more with every swallow. Letting out yet another yawn before standing up and stepping her food into the water's edge. Cold and crisp, the chilling nerves on her leg shivered down her spine as she slid slowly into the wet reflections. Slipping completely into the water sent ripples down the stream with every kick pushing her further into the trickling wet retreat. Hey long tail flowing behind her, swaying side to side as she moved about, stepping on stones and soft sand pushing herself deeper down the stream. Sniffing the air she caught a scent she wasn't used to in this area of the forest and looked around to see where or what it was.

Orez's head jerked as the scent morved closer, and he took a single step back from the water's edge, after all, he wouldn't want to fall in with an unknown nearby that may or may not be friendly. His head turned to the left, then the right, and it stayed there, waiting for whatever was approaching to reach its target.

Lugia continued to swim down the stream, kicking up dirt and small rocks with every push of her legs. Looking up at the sky she watched a couple of clouds pass her and tried to place an image in her head what the cloud may look like. Letting out a slight smile she lowered her head and looked into the water, where small breed fish were dancing about under her body. Giving a flick of her ear she held her breath and lowered her head under the water top, slowly the rest of her body followed until all was consumed into the wet sheet of cold reflections. Silence be folded the field and stream, leaving behind nothing but more ripples as she swam below the water's surface.

Orez seemed to sense whoever it was getting closer, and before he could call out to whoever it was, it was gone from any of his percievable senses with a small 'Plip!' into the water. He hesataintly took a step into the water, ghasping audibly as the cold water came up to his chest, but thankfully, no further. As soon as he became calmer after the inital shock of the water, he began to wonder if he wanted to stay with himself in this vunerable position.

Lugia floated under the water for some time, swimming after the fish and enjoying the cool moist liquid's spacey feel. Pushing off the sandy ground she swam to the surface and emerged with a splash, sending water all around her. Turning her head she noticed another Ulaya less then a foot away from her. Jumping from the sudden startle of vision she swam backwards a foot and tilted her head as she examined the other's features. She found it odd that his eyes had been sown shut and he was half emerged into the stream, without being rude she decided not to mention this. "Hello?" She addressed him as she continued to watch and try to figure out what he was doing.

Orez started at the sound of her voice, also having just remembered that he truely detested deep water. "Oh! Hello, I'm sorry, did I startle you?" His head turned to face her as he aplogized. "I heard the water move as though I had. Let me introduce myself, I'm Orez, and if you do not mind my asking, who might you be?"
Asking one's name was not only a way for Orez to learn who they were, but thier gender, a rough age, and sometimes thier state of mind, depending on if they said it with a shaking voice, a flat note, or a cruel tone.
