Snowprint rested next to a trickling stream, grooming his thick pelt. His fur was heavier then a normal Ulaya's for he was built for the snowy weather and colder areas, making him extra warm under the mid-afternoon sun. Flicking the end of his tail he continued to clean his shoulder as the sky's light shined onto his soft fur. Shaking his head with the extra weight of his horns, Snowprint looked up to see what hour of the day it was and he saw something off in the distance. Squinting his eyes with the bright horizon he tried to make out what it was the he was seeing.
Unsure of what his eyes had caught a glimpse of, Snowprint just sat in his place where he lay. He was too hot to leave the water and was strongly thinking about just sliding in for a nice cool swim. Twitching his ear he focused on the figure and tried to listen his hardest to see if he could get a better idea of what to expect but to no avail.

Mara yawned, stretching herself out, then shaking her fur out. She looked about being it was the first time she's been out on her own. Shrugging her shoulders she grabbed her book she had picked out and began to walk off in any direction. She carried her book in her mouth, since she didnt have anything else to carry it in. Every so offend she would stop to adjust her glasses upon her nose. Without them she can barely see, why? she didnt know, nor ask.
Upon walking, she stopped, perking up her ears to listen. She turned her head to the side and could barely hear the fade sound of water trickling. ohh...how wonderful! she thought to herself Sitting by some stream or river would be grand after deciding this, she walked merely on her way with her book in her mouth and eyes shut

Snowprint continued to sit in his place and watch the figure prance ever closer to him, slowly realizing it was another Ulaya and not some squirrel or something. He squinted his eyes again try and make out what they Ulaya looked like and smiled as he noticed the book in her mouth, giving her a wise look. He wasn't sure what the glasses were for, he had never seen them on a Ulaya before in his life but didn't want to mention them in case she was sensitive about it.
Moving closer to him with every step he got ready for anything that may come, in case she thought him an attacker or something. Shaking his heavy head once again he flicked his tail to ward off a pesky fly that had been buzzing around him. Letting out a sigh he rose in his spot to a sitting position and continued to watch her bound ever closer, curious about her and annoyed with the fly.

Mara continued her happy prance towards the sound of water. Finally reaching the small stream, she suddenly stop to a sound of something being swayed. Perking up her ears, she looks around to see where the sound came from. She adjust her glasses once more, soon seeing someone on a rock "ohh!" she says, dropping her book to the ground "dear me..."
She stared in aww, blinking a few. Her right paw to her chin. She blushed slightly and giggled softly, then covered her mouth quickly. blushing abit brightier "oh my... im sorry"

Tilting his head with a smile, Snowprint didn't do anything but watch her. Her smile was warming and her blushing added a pleasant color to her face. He rather liked her soft colored fur and the glasses made her look ever more cute. Still smiling he raised a paw and lifted up the book as best as he could and held it out for her to take. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Still swaying his tail side to side the stream added to a pleasant background noise, making the area feel peaceful.

Mara smiled happily, watching him pick up her book "oh no... i wasnt scared" she covered her cheeks trying to hide her blushing face. All the while her tail wagged wildly, which she didnt know she was doing so "I was just startled" she reached out for the book, taking it, she holds it close to her "Thank you. uhh..." she looked towards him

Smiling even more to her actions Snowprint nodded another smile and looked behind him at the stream. Feeling a little thirsty he stood up and walked the couple of feet over before lowering his head and drank the cool liquids flowing ever so calmly. Raising his head again he turned around to address her and invite her over for a drink.
"You seem quite thirsty, would you like to join me?" What he really wanted to do was step into the water and cool himself off all the while cursing his heavy pelt in his mind. But he didn't, he did his best to hold his composure for the young lady and let her join him at the spring.

Mara watched, while holding her book, which was covering half of her face. Hiding her blushing. Her ears were dropped down, as her eyes looked like she was off in some type of dream Ahh... his soo handsome, she thought in her head, soon snapping out of it from his question
"huh?!" she says, soon shooking her head "O-oh yes, Thank you" setting down her book and walked over to the stream. She knelled down to sip some of the cool refreshing water, then looked up. seeing he was abit thick coated, she smiled and splash some water up onto him, giggling, she covered her mouth with the paw that splashed the water

Losing his well gained gentleman-ship he closed his eyes and laughed at her, he never got mad at anything and quiet enjoyed playing around with other Ulayas. His laughter slowing down he opened his eyes and looked into hers with a soft smile before standing up and sliding his foot into the water. Slowly the rest of his body followed before he was completely submerged into the cool, clear liquid retreat. Looking over to her he flicked his ear at a droplet of water that had placed itself on it and ducked his head under, diving to the bottom of the stream. Being a small trickle of a creak it wasn't that deep but just enough to completely cover him.
Swimming to the other side of the stream he reached the surface with a small splash and shook the glistening beads of water from the fur on his face. Reaching out on the side of the water he plucked an acacia flower from a tree branch and held it in his mouth. Turning back towards whence he came, Snowprint swam back above the water, his bushy tail swaying side to side behind him. Reaching the shore he climbed out of the water, gushes of cool liquid falling out of his thick fur. He placed the flower onto the ground and looked back up to her with another soft and friendly smile on his face.
((I actully looked this one us. Apparently the acacia flower means secret love when handed to another you care for X3 pic))

Blinking a few, Mara watched in curiousest. Seeing him dive down to the bottom of the stream. Taking a few steps towards the stream, she looked into the water. She looked side to side, she couldnt really see him well. She looked up suddenly, hearing something from across the way. Smiling, she sees him grabbing something. She watched with great interest Oh i wonder what he has? she thought to herself
She watched him all the while, taking a few steps back, as he stepped out of the stream. Watching him place the beautiful the flower on the ground, she blushed slightly "Oh... so pretty" she says, looking at the flower then back up towards him, with a loveling smile "for me?" she asked

Snowprint gave her a nod as she asked him the question and raised a paw to wipe some dripping water from his face. Tilting his head to the side he watched her expressions and enjoyed his wet, cool, peaceful moment for a little while. Though you can only stay wet for so long and he had the strong urge to shake the water that was making his coat even heavier but resisted the urge for it would get her wet. Placing his ears straight up he turned his head and looked over to a tree with low hanging branches before turning back to her. A single droplet of water dripped off one of his horns as he opened his mouth to speak. "Join me in the shade?" He was hoping she would lead so he could shake some before following her but he wasn't picky or worried about that, he'll get dry eventually.

Mara smiled happily "oh thank you. It's beautiful" she walks up to him and nuzzles his cheek with her nose. She suddenly snapped out of it and pulled away quickly, blushing red "oh Im sorry..." she says looking towards the ground. She looks up to see him point to some shade and smiled "yes that would be nice, lets" picking up the lovely flowers he gave her and trotted over to the location he pointed out

Taking advantage of her leaving him for a moment, Snowprint planted his feet and shook his whole body, spraying water in all directions as it flew from his heavy pelt. Rubbing one of his horns on his own shoulder he wiped a couple of drips about to fall off and shook his head some more, just to make sure all of the water was out of his ears.
Looking back up at Mara he perked his ears up and slowly followed her to the shad casted by a towering tree. Taking his seat next to her we wrapped his tail around his feet and tilted his head as he examined Mara. "It's such a nice day out today." Snowprint parted his gaze from her and looked up to the sky to watch the small clusters of clouds pass by, casting shadows to dance on the field before them. The sun was near setting, causing the sky and clouds to be painted with beautiful orange, purple and red colors.

Mara just remembered her book, turning to get it she ran into the great male's shaking. She laughed and giggled as the water hit her. She didnt mind it at all, since the day was somewhat hot to her as well. She lightly shook herself off and went to her book. She placed the flowers in her hair and picked up the book in her mouth.
She hurried over and sat next to the male she has found to be falling for. Setting her book down to the side, she looked towards the male and smiled sweetly "yes... yes it is"

Snowprint was somewhat bashful from his accidental splashing on is new found companion. He really didn't want to get her wet, or seem rude about it in any way but her giggle cut him off as he was about to apologize. Blushing some from how friendly she was to him he continued to watch the sky, thinking about what might become of the two. He was groing quite fond of her as well and didn't want the day to end. But as the sky grew darker and the glimmering stars began to appear mixed in with the evening colors he knew it would eventually.
Closing his eyes he decided to show her in a subtle manor how he really started to like her. Leaning to his side he pressed his shoulder against her's, just to see if she would move away. After a few moments of leaning on her he wrapped his tail around her body and smiled. He hadn't had many other Ulayas that were as nice and peaceful as she was. This was a change for him since most Ulayas in the world were all about something else rather then looking at the big picture around them.
