Back Story Akumu was found as a child by an Ulaya pack. They feared her species but took her in just the same. Thery hoped that being raised by a "normal" Ulaya would change the fact that she was an Undulcan. But they were wrong, the fear of mothers and children soon caused Akumu to shelter herself and accept the fact that she is different. One day she wants to meet another Undulcan but is almost afraid that they are more fearsome then her, being raised by those not of her kind. But she will face them like the Undulcan she is.
Hebi: *lets out a lax yawn and curls his wings against his body*

Kimi: *Snoozes and rolls over in his sleep, then suddenly wakes up, is without sis again* gonk

Hebi: *eyes the flailing child and offers a wing to hide under*

Kimi: *Eyes the Draco'ula,* H-hi, *he yawns a little, then stands and wobbles nearer, unafraid* You're a nice guy, right? You seem nice, but Ren-chan'd be mad at me if I wasn't cautious. *speaks softly*

Hebi: *nods at the sleepy pup and reaches out for him, nuzzling with his soft fur as they snuggle* I'm kind, don't worry ^^

Surprise and sleepiness causes the kit to be limp, he's easily pulled against the larger Ulaya. Kimihiro looks up with his good eye wide, from under the large, leathery red wing. "I still can't believe Dragons are, I mean Draco'ula are real." His voice is soft and still sleepy, "But you're all grown, I mean you're not new," He shuns the word -baby-, where were you before here?

Hebi: *smiles and pats the pup on his head, making him more relaxes and sleepy* I have been around far longer then you can imagine, hiding from other Ulayas that fear my appearance *he nuzzles him again* Hiding with the rest of the Draco'ulas.

Questioning with innocence that only a child could muster, his sleepiness still called to him, but the curiousness called louder. "But where, and why, and who is scared of you, you said you were kind, you don't eat mommas do you?" His dark eye goes wider, if that was possible.

Most Ulayas in the world fear Draco'ulas, not all of us are kind hearted *he looks up to the dark sky and watched the shimmering stars twinkle in the background* I can name a couple almost instantly.

"Oh..." There was a sadness in his voice that he couldn't mask, still too young to hide disappointment easily, and he dropped his chin to his paws, laying flat, his face was angled up to look from the male to the sky, but then it was lowered just as quickly, the night sky was too close and to large, too consuming to the small Ulaya's gaze. "Family of yours?" He hesitates, "I should probably stay away from 'em, 'til I'm bigger at least?"

*Hebi's voice dropped with no reponse to the pup's question. He thought to himself as his mind ran through old memories that were too painful to mention of, too harsh for this pup to hear* You're quite tired, aren't you? *he was curious how long the pup would stay awake, though knowing the curiosity of his age slumber was lower on the scale*

Yawning again answered more truthfully than his word would, "No-o-oh~" He blinked and reddened under his pale fur, caused by his little fib. "Maybe. A little tired." He leaned against the the larger male more fully now and said nothing more, though his eye remained open, his gaze was low.

Smiling some more he looked at the pup who was almost asleep in his arms. He was the first contact with someone else for a long time, and it was someone that was happy to have a friend to lean on. Standing up slowly he lifted the pup in his arm and held him tightly. "How about a little mid dream adventure?" He watched the pup snuggle his arm as he stretched his wings out.

"Mmm?" Kimi had slipped swiftly as most young ones do, he was only half awake when lifted, "Like adventures too?" When he woke again, he might probably believe that he dreamt this.

Hebi laughed at how cute he was and lowered his body to the ground, with a slight jolt he leaped into the air and flapped his wings, slowly making them airborn. Flying higher into the sky he held the pup with his other arm to make sure he didn't fall and soared over the land, the trees and other creatures in the area far below them and nothing but the calming breeze to bother them. Every once in a while he would flap his wings to stay the same level but he mostly glided though the sky.

It was the tiny jostling jolt that woke him and for an instant Kimi felt fearful, but the strong down-beats came at a steady rythm as they rose higher and higher, because of his eye he really couldn't tell distance, but that everything was smaller and the quiet, he knew that they were high up. "Woow~" He breathed and all traces of fear evaporated, he felt secure with the arms around him. Turning his head this way and that, trying to understand the terrain below, it was like a life-size map and he recognized a few landmarks, or he thought he did, maybe it was his imagination, he really had not been many places in his short life span. After this, that would change, he'd already felt the hint of wander-lust, probably passed to him by his father, but now it was like a kindled flame. Somehow he knew, even his child brain understood this, he would be too big to carry, all too soon and this sight of so much would only leave a longing for more.
"This is, there is, everything..." He couldn't quite put into words what he wanted to express. "Thank you." He looked up to see the smile he was sure would be on the Draco'ula's face, one reflecting his own, full of delight and wonder, before sleepiness over took him again.

Hebi watched the pup drift back into his slumber after thanking him, this was the first time he had heard those words from a normal Ulaya, one that wasn't affraid of him. Swaying his tail side to side with the wind current he started to wonder where the tan colored kid lived, where he should drop him off to finish his sleep. Fanning his wings upward they began to slow down and he shifted his body to turn around before flapping harder to gain speed again. The scenery passed below them as he started to head back to where they had come from, where he can find where his family was.

Sobie wandered from bush to nook, slowly, his tired gaze and wide ears searching for some sign of kits sleeping, they usually were found in piles, still so young that they found their comfort in closeness of bodies. He sighed softly, not quite worried yet, perhaps Kimihiro had gone with his sister for the evening, as he usually spend all his day with her, awake or not. After looking in the last spot that would have been a favorite of the pale boy, Sobie decided that had to be the case, the kid wasn't one to wander or get into trouble, he lay down, and curled his paws, ready to sleep for the night when a curious sound met his ears and he looked up. Wonder colored his features.
Kimi didn't stir the whole while, through up and downs, the wind was somehow calming.

Hebi hovered over the strange Ulaya, wondering if it was okay to land around him. He somewhat feared other Ulayas for they could be almost as cruel as the Draco'ulas themselves but after a few flaps of his wings he decided to take a chance. Grasping the pup tightly he lowered to the ground slowly, trying not to stirr him from his sleep and softly landed his hind feet on the dirt ground before planting the rest of his body down, holding the pup with a single paw. Closing his wings and wrapping them tight to his body he looked over at the other Ulaya and watched with a nervous stare.

Sobie was speechless from surprise watching the red Draco'ula descend and land, Pooka wasn't lying this time, the words drifted through his head, then he spotted the kit. "Ah, Kimihiro?" He began then hushed, seeing that he was asleep. "I hope that he did not give you any trouble, sir?" He spoke with polite and soft tone. "If he did, I apologize fully. He is under my care." He stood and moved within arms reach, to take the sleeping boy if he was offered.
Kimi shifted in his sleep, restlessly dreaming.

Hebi stepped a foot back as the other Ulaya approached him but resisted the urge to back away fully for his manor seemed nice enough. Looking down at the slumbering pup he reached his paw out for the other Ulaya, seemingly being his care taker and rested his tail on the ground, coiling it around in a circle.

Sobie didn't understand the reluctance of the other, but he took the kit gently and held him close to his chest feeling real relief that he knew the little male was safe. "Ah, thank you." Sobie was still trying to grasp the existence of the one before him to feel any real fear, just a bit of confusion show on his features.Kimi shifted and opened his eye just the tiniest bit, there was the hint of a smile on his maw.Sobie stifled a yawn, before continuing "Oh, excuse me. I am Sobie, may I ask your name?"

Pausing for a little more he swallowed his breath and opened his mouth to speak, caution in his voice. "I'm Hebi, Hebi Doragon." He turned an ear back some, he never talked with Ulayas before and usually hide in the shadows as much as he could. "Sorry for taking the pup for a ride, it seemed like he would enjoy it. I didn't mean to leave with him." Though it was obvious he did, or else he wouldn't have.

Sobie nodded and cautioned a smile, "No need for an apology then. It is very nice to meet you, Hebi." He nodded his head, his voice soft "You probably gave him the thrill of his life. He hears so many adventure stories from his father, it is about time he has one of his own to tell, but for now," He paused.Kimi shifted again and turned, "Heebi, I don't think most Ulaya will fear you." He murmured and his eye drifted closed again. "Shall we let him sleep." Smile.

Hebi sighed softly, glad that he had found some Ulayas nice enough to talk to him. "I have been affar and know quite well how feared and frowned upon Draco'ulas are." It was his father's generation that had been practically chased onto the island where they now resided, treated poorly upon by the other Ulayas in the land. Such stories and words brought down through conversations and other means of chatter had caused most of the Draco'ulas to stay where they are rather then travel out. Which, in most cases, was probably best for both breeds alike.
