In the ruined temple, where decorations used to be in abundance with jewels and precious stones.. now a deserted land that seemed to have been the place of countless, was now voided of life. What happened to these people? Were the ruins a place for the royalty to find peace? Or a rebellion to find refuge. The long history-----
"Wow~!" A bright young Ulaya popped out of the dark dark black hole in the ruins. "Wow~ The breeze feels SO~ nice today~!" She turned and smiled brightly. Every motion she made, her long luscious hair followed as if it were suspended in time and moving slowly through space.. Whipping her hair as she jumped again on to another ledge in the ruins. Being locked in the ruins, hiding away. Finally... a way out as she inhaled the fresh air..
"Ferya~ It's beautiful~ Come look!" Her clothes of antic and beauty, untouched and completely beautiful, the female was young and looking as though she busted out of the past. She hadn't seen or felt the fresh air since she was very very young.. and now. It felt like a new chapter in their book has opened. "Freya~" She turned around and chirped down the black hole. In the ruins below, there was a whole world. But above ground was a different story. There was light underground by ruin's holes that had the light filter down in to their underground world... and finally finding a way up to the surface..

Freya squinted her eyes as she looked towards the light, it had been so long in that ruin that her vision had to adjust to the sun. Taking a step towards the exit, she called back to her sister who was bounding around outside of the protected place they called home for so long. "Maybe we should just stay in here, you don't know what is out there, Elda!" She was wary of the outside and didn't want anything to hurt her sister or herself, but mostly her sister whom she protected so dearly. Slowly Freya padded out the entrance of the ruins, taking her first step to the outside world shes had in a long time. Still squinting, Freya looked around for her sister to get over to her side, the breeze flowing through her long locks of hair casting it to dance in all directions.
"Elda, what are we going to do now?" They knew nothing of the world they were walking into, only that it wasn't anything like they had remembered it to be like. Where exactly were they? Her memory seemed like it had been erased but she knew it hadn't been. Perhaps it had been so long that she had replaced old memories with new ones like her mind had a full system and needed to make room for them. Closing her eyes, Elda rose her nose into the air and inhaled the wind as it blew into her face, it was actually nice to be free from their tomb of captivity, as scary as the unknown might have been she was glad her sister talked her into going outside.
To find a place to go, that's what the needed to do. Find a place to call a home now, where they can be together without anyone harming them and they can live in their own world of freedom. Freya looked back down towards Elda who was enjoying the freedom just a little more than she had been herself. Her dress flowing with her hair as the wind blew across the open area, making Elda looks more mystical than she had before. Freya loved her sister, perhaps more than someone really should, but she was the only one she had ever wanted to be around. The only one that completely understood her for who she really was, not just a pretty face and nice personality, but something more. A grin came upon Freya's face as she continued to watch her sister, she was ready for whatever was going to come to them, no matter what the situation would be.

"We'll never know unless we see it~" She called back to her as she ran up and on to a ruin piece that seemed to be from where statues would be set on.
A bright smile looking in to the sky.. The light hurt and it made her eyes water.. softly she lifted her paw up and touched it. Looking down to her paw where the tear touched and formed. It was beautiful.. but never had she remembered crying... Had it been this long? She was expecting this new world.. and to only find something way different.. Trees, sands and forest. Slitted her eyes as more tears came to her face, but when her sister called for her. She turned and headed towards her. On a full run, then trotting in to a stop when she got close to her sister.
Staring in to her eyes before snuggling herself in to her arms and under her chin. Purring softly.. "Isn't it beautiful.." She whispered. Looking up in to her sister's face.. so happy. "I was thinking... we could see what we read on the walls. It speaks of a big body of water. Not like the springs below.." Rubbing her snout against her more. "Can we see the ocean... please.. after that we will go where ever you wanna go sister..even back in to the ruins. Promise." Softly closing her eyes to rub in to her sister.. That's the only ulaya she had known and loved for so long. Nothing came before her..

Freya nuzzled herself against her sister, her warm body wrapped around Elda's like the clothes on her back. "We can go wherever you want, love. I will always be by your side." She closed her eyes and smiled again, enjoying the moment she was spending with her sister, the one she loved more than anyone. "Let's go see the ocean, it would be lovely." She was rather excited to take a journey with Elda, the more time she got with her the happier she would be, spending her life with her sister.
Sighing with the moment, Freya moved herself slightly away from Elda's body, more unwillingly than otherwise. "Let's go on our journey now instead of waiting, while it is still light out." She was full of energy that only Elda would notice through her quiet personality and she wanted to use it while it was still there, she wanted to go on this journey more than anything.

"I am glad my sister has decided to come." A bright smile and when Freya moved.. she moved. Always at the heel of her sister and in some ways enjoying the fact that they could see the world together. Well, only if Freya would come along. Without her- she would not be and with that founded energy- Elda too- was reborn with even more energy than she had when she busted out of the ruin. Taking up the walk almost the same stride as her sister. Looking her over.. this much light now- made Freya shine. She didn't notice her own shine- no. She was too selfless and tried to nuzzle her neck as they walked.. "Do you know where we are going dear sister?" She chirped.
Looking around them. The sands in the ruins- what looked like a long sea of sand.. Only pieces of their kingdom was left. Father- she remembered was a kind male.. and mother was gentle and hid them away from the world that tried to destroy them but that was in such a long past that she had forgotten.. what they looked like. The war they hid from.. it was as if her memories were suppressed and the memories she had with Freya were all that were left. Years had passed.. and now to finally breath fresh air.. She adored it. But the heat was different for sure- but the sun she looked up in to cracks from the broken ceilings underground. But the sun now- though it hurt her eyes to stare at was beautiful.
The sand grains went in between her paws and it felt so thick against her pads. Their flowing hair seemed surreal and abnormally long but if anyone had known them before. They were supposedly perfect beings. One daughter, had the gift of a shaman and the other beautiful daughter... a seer. What mortals could have produced twins of this nature? The queen, was said not to be a mere mortal and from the birth of the twins. Some also suspected their king to be a god as well but words of this were never clarified and set in stone. The battle to gain these entities started... to use their powers to control the winds of fate. But the queen and king, could not allow this to happen. So- from their last breath of power.. was used to conceal their daughters so that one day. When they wake- they will be safe... or so they hoped.
"Where... the ocean is..I mean." Her words soft and silvery as the new snow. Her dress purely that royalty, dragging in the sands.. The heat on their backs but a breeze so caressing that the heat had not yet gotten to Elda.. just yet. The very few trees and past a few yards was a speckled of a forest with some trees and what seemed like some pond... An oasis for sure but not the ocean. "Woah.." The amount of sand there was... it was amazing for one. For two, it seemed to look endless.. She took a few quicker trotting steps forward and walked up the closest sandy hill. Looking around and feeling the breeze within her hair.. Closing her eyes to sink in for a moment.. Usually happy, she had yet to feel the reality that it was to be free.....
"OH!" She whirled back. "ALMOST FORGOT!" Then quickly ran past her sister and back in to the ruins. Like a blur until a few moments passed before coming back to her sister with their two bunny plushies in her maw. A bright smile on her face as she urged her sister to get hers.

Freya had a big smile on her face as her sister had brought out the plushies they had both had for such a long time in their tomb. They made the plushies for each other when they first got sealed into the darkness, making a vow and promise that they would stand for the love each other held for each other. They were a part of themselves as well as their souls in each of the plushies held in Elda's grasp. Reaching out to take hers, the lighter of the two, Freya tucked it into the folds of her dress like a tight pocket, making sure it wasn't loose so to fall down and get lost. "Thank you dear sister, I would be lost without it." She stepped forward and embraced Elda against her chest in a hug, the best thing she could ever have was the bond she shared with her sister.
Turning back towards the oasis, Freya couldn't wait to taste the clean clear water, the sun's reflection giving it a glowing appearance. "It's so beautiful, Elda, like nothing I've ever seen before." She looked back over to her sister who was finding a safe place for her plushie as well within her white dress. She looked so amazing, like the heavens had opened up and sent down a goddess for Freya alone. Reaching down she took Elda's paw and started pulling her along towards the green patch in the vast field of nothingness. "Let's take the first steps to freedom together." She couldn't wait to go somewhere with her sister, it almost seemed like she wanted to do this more then Elda herself, but Freya knew that would be impossible. The spirited ulaya was always the energy and heart of the twins, she was always the one to enjoy life so much more than herself. All Freya wanted was to just be by Elda's side, no matter what. If she had nothing else in the world, if they had to spend the rest of eternity in the ruins deep underground she wouldn't mind, as long as her sister was there to share it with her.
They made it to the oasis entrance, the sand still on the floor but the sky was a whole different sight all together. Green from the trees danced above their heads, swaying side to side with the desert wind. The water was crystal clear, showing the very sand they stood on under it's surface, making it seem almost mystical with the water's shine, almost like a completely different ground all together. The water looked just like glass, like a nice crisp cool pool of liquid Freya couldn't wait to take a drink from. It teased her but she didn't want to go to fast for Elda, she wanted to make sure her sister was right next to her at all times. "This is so amazing!" She never could have imagined this to be right next to where they had called home for so long without them knowing. Surely they had seen it before being closed into the tomb so long ago, but she had no remembrance of anything before that day. Maybe their memories had been removed for a reason, maybe they knew something that must be kept secret from someone or something.

A soft breath, had escaped her. When she was hugged, everything seemed right for just a moment. Taking up her doll and tucking her doll in to her dress as she quickly tried to keep up with freya. Stumbling along her side as she then took grace beside her.. for some reason this whole new world was now becoming too big for her to imagen and grasp. Almost as if she were overtaken by it all. When her sister was pretty amazed by everything, she too followed along with an awe in her step. As she got to the soft greens.. she was almost 'scared' of it, or so she acted as she carefully placed her paw on it. Cautious all the way til her sister came up to the water's edge and she couldn't help but quickly trot after her in an angelic stride. As if she were flying there..
Almost in sync, she too wouldn't drink the first liquid without her sister. Dipping her head... she starred at it for a few moments. A few breaths that seemed so surreal to her. Unreal that this was it.. she dipped her head close to the water and lapped at it. Then a few moments went as she savored the silvery liquid but somehow with the freshness and cool touch- A flash of darkness.. she gasped for gasp~ making her body sway and somehow lost footing enough to stumble in to her sister. "Ah~": She inhaled and felt exhausted from the short vision. It was too quick for her to make up but she felt it take her energy from her. The war... The threads of fate started to spin.. Putting her paw to her head as she rubbed it against her temple. "My- apologizes.. Dunno what has-" She tried to be sorry but really was somewhat out of it for the moment. Maybe this was all too fast for her to take in. Being to gleeful for being introduced to a world that she had long forgotten.. How much energy her sights took- and how much energy she used up for being herself.. "I think it is.. the heat. I must get used to it.." Slowly getting up feeling slightly lightheaded.
Signalling the start... of a new path..

Freya tasted the cool water the desert had provided for them, it impressed her that something so clean and cold could come from such a harsh vast wasteland. Her hair fell down her neck and past her ears, touching the water casting a ripple on it's surface and then spreading outwards before fading off into the rest of the water as if nothing had touched it before. Suddenly her sister's gasp caught her attention and she lifted her head with a jolt, flicking water in all directions as her hair pulled from it's chilling touch. "Elda are you okay?" She leaned forward to catch her sister should she happen to fall to the ground, worried that something much worse would befall into her."Just breath, you'll be okay." She was relieved to see that her sister was okay and that she was just getting dizzy, Freya didn't know what she would do if something had happened to her sister right here.
"Maybe you're right, it is quite warm out here." Freya looked up towards the sun, her eyes now adjusted to the light it was sending off to them. "Do you want to stay here in the ruins for a little longer?" She didn't want to do this at all but if it meant the protection of her sister and the safety of the two then she was willing to do anything. Freya leaned into Elda, letting their bodies touch and tucked her nose into her sister's hair just behind her ear. "I don't want you to push yourself too much." she whispered into the soft ear as she held the delicate ulaya tightly to herself. The world they were about to encounter was large and scary indeed and will have many problems to come but this was just the first step to their journey. Freya thought about how they were going to find food in the middle of the desert, they had been lucky enough to have survived this long off from what the ruins had provided for them but once they leave it's protection the unknown was scary. She knew, however, that they would somehow find a way to get through the hard times, they always did as long as they stayed together.

"The darkness will befall again and the wounds may heal but drought will come with many deaths it's blessed~" Her words more mostly scrambled but what someone could make of them. Would be her sister. Closing her eyes and feeling the embrace for the moment. Flashes in to a dark place where light was no more than a miracle. She inhaled with a sweet scent of her sister before looking up after her vision. The closed her eyes as she slowly got up. "No.. The ruins may consume us.. I need to be pulled from this place..." ( Speaking to herself ) Putting a paw over her head again and getting major headaches.. Sights jumbling together as she screamed out for just a moment. Being suppressed for so long she lowered her head for a moment and laid down.
"I shall be fine." She spoke soft words though her facial reactions showed differently. Painful. Only because these sights were drawing out her energy and sucking it up. After the pain subsided.. she coiled around her sister. With a husky breaths til she felt slightly better. Her bunny clinging on to her for dear life as it rubbed in to the sand.. Squeezing her eyes tightly together. Her mind closed up as she drew herself in to an out of body experience. 'It hurts... everytime I move. I see things.. they jumble up. I'm exhausted.. but I want to leave this place..The ocean.. the writings on the wall. The ocean is a place where we must go.. what is waiting for us there....' Then she pulled herself back to reality as she slowly looked up to her sister. Slitting her eyes and pulling out a smile. "?!" She chirped, smiling brightly.. Then lifted her body up slowly until she stood on all fours, tall and looked out..
"Something tells me that we must stay a bit longer.. I'm sorry." Lowering her head then looking away from her sister. The sight hurt and exhausted her but though she saw the darkness in pieces and jumbled up visions. Her body wasn't ready to walk in the setting sun.. But something on the inside spoke that they must stay a bit longer, and she knew this voice... was only for the good in her.
"Someone needs us." Then looking back at her sister..

"Then we must stay here my love, we must wait here a little longer." Freya held her sister closer to her than she had been to begin with, nuzzling her cheek into Elda's long golden hair. She didn't want to question fate being as they were lucky to be on the earth where they stood that very moment and Freya had a lingering feeling that told her the same thing. She was, however, willing to ignore the inclination deep inside her mind for anything her sister had wished to come true, even if it meant leaving the area she felt needed them so badly. Freya would do anything for her sister, even sacrifice herself if she had ever had to come to such a decision, she didn't care as long as Elda was save from any danger. "Come, Elda, let us get out from the sun. I'm afraid it is going to do more harm to you than good." She eyed the entrance of the ruins, she was so happy to be out of there but knew they needed to keep from the heat if they planned to survive in the desert wasteland they had called home for so long.
Taking her sister along side her, Freya went back to the ruins where the cool of the shade was almost immediate and almost bone chilling. "At least the heat won't get us down here." She was concerned about her sister's spell she had a few moments before but didn't want to make it apparent and worry Elda any more than she might already be. It was complicated for her to understand the visions her twin had been seeing for she hadn't had any quite as powerful as those that had just happened. Laying her sister down in the beds they had made when they were inside the temple before, Freya looked at the walls surrounding them. Carvings and gems decorated every corner, dust piled up on top of them that had collected over the years. Her eyes landed upon a celestial figure that had been engraved into the middle of the larger wall, beams of glowing light spread from the figure's body and ulayas gathered around her with nothing but joy and laughter on their faces. She always took a liking to this particular etching and studied every inch of it's artwork.
Turning her head back towards Elda, Freya walked away to collect some water from an underground spring they found were living off from before. Collecting the cooling fluid into a saucer which was placed next to the stream's edge, Freya returned to her sister and placed the crystal clear liquid on the ground next to her. "I guess this is as much of a home as we have now." She lay herself next to the body of her beloved sibling and pulled the stuffed rabbit out from the fold of her dress before placing it on the ground next to them. Resting her chin on Elda's shoulder, she released a sigh and looked back around the room at the other carvings, some even on the ceiling above them.

Only now did her eyes start to burn when she looked up at the sky. At first it was easy, her hair flowed right in the way of the sun's beams but when she looked- it burned her and caused her to look away from it. The sun, was as close to 'light' as they could get and now they were walking away in to darkness? A part of her was pulling away from the ruins while the other half knew her duties. These visions... were her duty. Like mother had explained to her once before. Sadly, what was she to do except follow. Saddened and probably hoping they could see the ocean.. she turned tail and followed her sister. Closely by her side and even more less under energized than she was before.
When they got to the beds, she slinked her way to hers and coiled in a ball. Pulling her bunny out and holding on to it dearly. Til she felt her sister come up to her and laze beside her. Trying to seem calm and composed about it but really she was disappointed about it. Closing her eyes and waiting. She was probably the most impatient one of the two sisters when it came to waiting on something she wanted. It was so close.. She felt it. The warm on her skin. Though it could have been fatal if she stayed to long in it.. it felt good to be out. Seeing the water in one of the saucers.. she turned her face from it.
"Is it selfish to say I still want to see the ocean. " She spoke up, but in a naturally sweet yet disappointed voice. "But fate does not seem to let me go to see it.." Her heart was twisting in all kinds of ways. Pulling from one side to the next and sadly she was making this harder on her sister. Oh so she thought. But was rather sleepy and etching at the presence of being in bed. She turned to face her sister. Soft hazel eyes looking at her darkly dressed she sister. She was more of a warrior than her. More stronger than her.. maybe thats also what added to the attraction she had. Snuggling close and pulling her rabbit between her and her sister. Nuzzling in to her neck. "I'm all mixed up my love- forgive me that I seem so scattered. I feel all mixed up since the sight..."
Etching her paw closer to her sister and softly stroking her hair. She loved her and hated to be like this. Almost instinctively she reversed the way she thought and calmed her body once more. Which was a task she had learned from being in this ruin for so long.. That's when she opened her eyes and noticed the etchings on the wall. The first thing she looked at when she awakened. The ocean.. the drawings of waves.. but then her eyes fixated on her sister.. A lovely adoring face. One that loved her unconditionally and she in returned loved her fully with all of herself as well. The only one that had been there for so long with her. Loving her..
"Forgive me sister.." She spoke of such a soft plea.

Freya watched her sister's lifeless body as they both lay on the ground of the ruins. Elda's words running through her mind as she continued to stroke the hair on her head, sliding it between her fingers with each time through. "Take care of yourself, sister." She had the feeling Elda was battling something inside herself, a memory of something that had been long forgotten by the two sisters consciousness. Kissing her lips, Freya rested her head beside Elda's and closed her eyes, trying her hardest to hold back a tear that had began to form with a lump in her throat. Why was this happening to her? Why must her sister never be gifted with the best health? She worried so much about her and didn't know what she would do to herself if something had happened to her.
Drifting off into a dream world, Freya began seeing visitors in the horizon. Powerful and wise, visitors that began to strike her curiosity, hazy in the distance and broken up from the heat of the sand below. "Hello!" Freya yelled out to the two approaching but even with her calls they failed to see her. "What are you doing here?" She called out to them but they continued to walk on into the horizon. Running towards them she tried to get their attentions, her feet burning from the hot ground and her hair flowing in waves behind her. Slowing down to a pause, Elda looked back towards the ruins and saw that she hadn't moved more than 10 feet from it's entrance. Turing an ear towards the two in the background, Elda began walking into the doorway and down the ramped pathway into the room she had come from. Darkness took over her vision and her eyes grew wide as they searched for any sign of light from the outside. "What?" She bumped into something on the ground as she was walking through the darkness, something in the middle of the room. Leaning in closer, Elda tried to focus in the pitch black and figure out what the object in her way was before a shrieking gasp escaped her mouth. Before her lay the lifeless body of Elda, bloody and torn up from a battle. Heavy panting came from the scared and worried ulaya as she stepped backwards a few paces and tripped over another object in the dark. Turing around fast she saw a stone glowing with the power of the sun, casting off light and energy that made Freya feel like she was filled with warmth.
Jolted from the ground Freya leaped up and began breathing heavy, trying to get her take back onto reality. "Elda!" She turned to her sister who was still sleeping on the ground next to her. "Elda are you okay?!" She rolled the body over and studied it up and down, sighing with relief as she realized it was just a nightmare and pressed her cheek against her sisters as she let the tears flow freely. "Never again do I ever want to see you like that, love. Never again ..." She continued to sob by her sister's side, worried that the dream she had was anything like what her sister could be seeing at the same moment. A horrible dream that was so lucid she didn't know what was real anymore and what was really the dream.

Their bond is as great, and strong and while she had her own dreams. being so sensitive of the two made it hard for her to be herself.. live her own steps. Only because her sister was always there. Holding her paw and filling her dreams and touching her heart. Whereas this was not always bad. Sometimes, it took a tole on her. She had slept and gotten in to a fluffy dream of her mother, sister, and father. Everything was happy... But when she looked in to her mother's eyes, she could see sparks of devastation. Spots and blotches of the future that beheld them.. visions of Victon, Balthial and Gaz... so many others.. She was called in her dream by her mother. Calling out, she returned and twirled happily with all her ribbons flowing in the air so majestically. As she was embraced by her mother for grooming.. Giggling in an echo as she showed her belly up to her mother to be cleaned.. And as her mother was about to put her paw against her stomach, it quickly began to determinate and become like the plague. Darkness started to surround her a the face of darkness entered.
The black what seemed to feel like liquid grasped her throat as she gasped for life.
Til she was awaken by death and gasped for breath for a slipping moment before calming and instinctively snuggling up to her sister. Coiling and falling back to sleep.. Purring softly.. Having these dreams quite often and making it 'normal' for her.. Eyes slitted just a little to see the blurry vision of her sister..Smiling softly and feeling the warmest protection..
Til suddenly she heard a sound form the outside that echoed in to the pyramid.. Which she felt inwardly and out.. "..Sister?" She asked, seeing her sister shaken up already.. "What's wrong?" Her voice so soft that it sounded as though it would disappear.

Freya continued to hold her sister tightly in her arms, never wanting to let go of the love they shared in this moment. But she knew, more than anyone, that it was her job to protect Elda, no matter what the situation may bring. She leaned down and kissed her sister on the forehead, closing her eyes she said with a soft whisper, "I'll be right back, I promise." She knew she had to see who the strangers she saw on the horizon and why there were here in their presence right now. Lifting her body from the ground she rested her sister's head gently on the ground and fixed her glance upon the entrance of the ruins which was glowing with sunlight and warmth. Taking only a few steps towards the light she heard them talking, speaking words to one another that were nothing but a quiet mumble of an inaudible language.
Wondering if she should just hide or encounter the two, Freya took another step towards the doorway and put her ears back with nervousness. Taking a deep breath and the releasing it slowly, she continued her way to the sun until she was on step away from the outside. Stopping again she could tell the two were both males and getting quite close to the shelter she had been in for so long. Freya waited until the duo was next to the ruins for when she stepped out the doorway just in time to see their back walking away from her. She wanted to just let them walk for the danger had just passed her but then she looked back into the darkness towards her sister who was laying motionless on the hard stone ground. Closing her eyes she tried to think of anything else that they could do but asking for help was her only option.
Taking another step forward, Freya called out to the passing ulayas who were completely unawaire of her presence. "Please, I need help." She lowered her ears in fear of what might happen because of her impulsive move but she knew this had to be done. They both stopped and the taller male with a long flowing mane turned his head and then his body to follow it. "Where did you come from?" The language the young female spoke was one he hadn't heard in many many years and her words alone intrigued him to aide her.

Tsu was a little more than surprised that they had arrived at the sands.. For so long did they travel within them.. To only be greeted by huge ruins.. It looked like a city- no an empire was here. But that all dissipated. There was nothing but a ghost town.... The thought was haunting... A pyrmid stood in the middle, encased with ruins around it. What had become of this place... what did it once look like, he wondered. Yet he probably had not been alive enough to have known their story. The history of this place was vast and far between... Those of every flight knew this place as a haven for all those whom wished good upon the world. Accompanied by the beauty of those whom ruled it..
Their stride was built on caution although, it wasn't apparent in Victon. When his head changed direction, so did Tsu's with the sound of .... Chirping or some sort. It was odd. "What was that?" He spoke up. Questioning, although the God probably already knew. His peg leg started to sink as they stayed in one place, leaving him to lift it as a burden. It was Tsu, he didn't complain much at all. If not ever. Looking to home his sights on what had made the noise, but only saw a faint color upon the pyramid when he knew.. and from the looks of it. A ghost empire... "What..... is that?" His sight wasn't very good neither, but he strained it enough to see a black spot at the mid section of the pyramid.. or was it the shadow casted upon the bottom of it. He couldn't tell.
His mane waved about in the sand, and with a gust of wind, shook up the sand beneath them. Something was odd in this place, a feeling of displacement started to sink in to his chest. But he was beside a God, a god that was helping him. Thus, he couldn't think of any other place to move- he'd stick by him til their mission was completed no matter what troubled lied in the future. WHat evil awaited them..
