As weird as Camerupt is, I like the art. (Not so much numel) But an erupting camel. Awwwyeah. This is also one of the Pokemon that clearly shows that types it is.

Casual:
Strong Atk, strong S.Atk makes it great ingame. It learns a good amount of moves. But... it's low speed makes it annoying for sweeping teams.
One of the more annoying things is, Numel has Oblivious and Simple, while Camerupt has Magma Armor and Solid Rock. While Magma Armor is amazing for hatching eggs, Solid Rock is awesome for Mitigating it's 4x weakness to water.

Competitive:
Camerupt hits hard when it does. It's most common sets are sweeps. But it can also play a support role, Stealth Rocks, Yawn, many Burn inducing moves.
I've used Camerupt as my lead in UU. Amazing fun

Solid Rock is a unique ability common to only Camerupt and Rhyperior reducing it's 4x weakness to water down to 3x. It's still probably a one shot. But still XD
