I like the art of Hitmontop, but... Tyrogue doesn't look anything like it'd evolve into Hitmontop. Also, it should've been named after a famous capoera (I mispelt that, just sounding it out!) fighter like Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee
Edit: Suicide agrees with Zetshimaru, -top looks more like tyrogue than -lee.

Casual:
The absolute worst thing about trying to get a hitmontop, it's stupid evolve requirement. When tyrogue is evolving, attack must equal defense. When comparing it to it's other possible evolutionary paths, it has the most conservative stat spread, with higher defense and lower attack than -chan and -lee.

Competitive:
Hitmontop is a great rapid spin pokemon in UU. Good (for the tier) defense, and special defense. With technician, hitmontop's respectable attack stat can hurt other tanks in the tier with 60 power STAB Mach punchs. Bullet Punch is a good counter to ghost switch-ins to try to force Hitmontop to switchout.
