Nidoqueen (#031)
UU Tier

Art:
Nidoqueen always weirded me out, the coloring I think was supposed to be like clothing? Blurring your eyes makes it seem like a bikini XD

Other than that. It's one of the pokemon that shows how it evolved clearly, which I like.
2.5/5

Casual:
Never really used Nidoran's in game to get them to Nidoqueen/king since R/B/Y. Being pure poison limits STAB, and there aren't that many poison moves it learns on it's own, and poison doing 2x damage to only grass also hurts Nidoran's early usage.
1.5/5

Competitive:
Nidoqueen is UU, but surprisingly tanky for the tier. She can be played either a legit tank role or a support lead with taunt/stealth rocks or poison spikes which is nice.
2/5

Total: 2/5 ( Sorry Nidoqueen D: )

Previous Pokemon:
Charizard (#006) - 4/5 (3 Votes Only!)

You went pretty in depth on your rating.
I'd give it a 3/5 myself.

I'd personally give it a 4/5, due to her tanking abilities, resistance to Stealth Rock, absorption of Toxic Spikes, and her ability to use both Special and Physical attacks fairly effectively. Her resistances actually make her a prime candidate to take on the likes of Skarmory, with Fire Blast in her arsenal.

Her typing also allows her to be a spectacular Heracross counter, she can function fairly well in OU as a Heracross/Skarm/Lucario/Forretress/Bronzong wall, and has such a wide movepool that she can function as a tank, entry hazard setup, and an attacker, all in one package. She may not SHINE in OU, but the fact that she can function fairly outside of her tier against some of OU's premier threats is truly amazing.

Poison Point also helps.

...I think that's it, but I might add more, later.

Suppar stats and the poison typing will keep it down as everything has Earthquake.

Define 'everything'. 3nodding

I've yet to see a Skarm, Blissey, or Forretress run Earthquake, how about you? :3

You could also use that same argument for all Fire, Electric, Steel (barring Levitate Bronzong), and Rock types, as well. Type weaknesses are an inherent part of who they are, and can't really be called a counterargument. The only ones that don't have a weakness are Sableye and Spiritomb. :3

It's also one of the most reliable UU's for the absorption of Poison Spikes, as the only OU that reliably handles that job is Tentacruel. Muk does well to fill that role in UU, but Nidoqueen's tanking capabilities are better, as a whole. Ground-typing gives it stellar immunities and resistance to Stealth Rock.

Sub-par stats it may have, but it's still extremely functional despite these shortfalls.

Yeah it's a good switch in, only other good switch in for UU is Claydol. I guess if you're looking for a tank over a wall. (I guess it has bad typing also razz )

Forgot to bring up a point, as well.

Nidoran F is one of the earliest mixed attackers you can receive in FireRed, LeafGreen, HeartGold, and SoulSilver. With access to Double-kick early on to deal with the prevalence of Normal types that plague the beginning hours of those games, getting it at Level 9 definitely makes it an asset.

Nidoran and its evolutions also receive the moves Bite and Crunch later, covering their Psychic weakness, while their Poison typing protects them wonderfully from opposing Grass types. Its versatility with TM moves nearly matches that of a Normal Pokémon, making it a reliable tank for a casual playthrough and an effective mixed attacker to rely on through the Elite Four and beyond.
