Typhlosion (#157)

Probably my least liked fire starter. It just seems uninspired D:

Casual:
I've always picked Fire types, I'm actually using a Typhlosion as I'm slowly making my way through HG. There is a lack of good fire types in games. And with Typhlosion's base 109 S.Atk, you can't go wrong. It's spread of stats makes it a good sweeper, but unlike the other fire starters, you shouldn't try a mix set as it's Atk isn't the greatest and it's move don't support atk.

Competitive:
For it's tier, Typhlosion can defiantly sweep, Eruption is an insane STAB move.
By using it's ability Blaze, STAB flame throwers can commonly OHKO anything non-resist.
BUT... like any fire type, it gets locked down by very common move types, EQ, Stealth Rocks, and Surf, common moves that lock Typhlosion down. D:
I remember one of my sunny day teams had,
Typhlosion @ Petaya Berry
Sub
Flame Thrower
Solar Beam
Focus Blast
Probably useless now, but it brings back memories.
