Salamence (#373)

I do like Salamence's art, although I've never used one ingame or competitively. Although I'm not a big fan of the evolutionary path. (Shelgon looks stupid @__@)
Also, I'm a subscriber to the idea that Salamence was originally supposed to be named Flygon.
Bagon (BAby draGON) -> Shelgon (SHELl draGON) -> Flygon (FLYing draGON) Since Salamence has wings.
One more interesting thing, it's species keeps changing. From a rock-head pokemon to Endurance pokemon, then Dragon pokemon. Even though all of it's evolutions are Dragon types.

Casual:
Good sweeper stats, strong moves. Interestingly, the previous evolutions have a different stat spread with Salamence having lower Defense than it's previous evolutions.
Much like Dragonite yesterday, Salamence while maybe wasted learns a lot of HMs.

Competitive:
Going to say this again, I've never used a Salamence. But BOY does this thing pack a punch. Base 135 Atk packs a ridiculous punch. But that's not all, it's S.atk isn't far behind at 110. Making Mence a potent Physical or Mixed sweper.
Just like Nite, it's SR weak, with a glaring 4x Ice weakness. (Don't be fighting no Weaviles @__@;; )
But unlike Nite, like I mentioned yesterday (ignorantly) Salamence does have a good ability. Intimidate can help prolong it's life.
