Personality: Enfys is a wanderer. He has no roots, and had no real plans of having any, until he found friends, had children, and his friends had children. He's intelligent, polite, and good-hearted. Some may find him bland in nature, but the term would be aloof, in his case. He's just a really calm guy. He likes rainbows and flowers, so isn't going to wander into any swamps. xd It's been revealed that he's been suppressing the kirkani stallion he should have been, a totally insane side of himself. Hopefully, by the time the first snow falls on Aerithe, he will be able to handle the kirkani inside him.
History: It's unknown to the general public, and Enfys was enigmatic enough that no one knew his past, until he lost control. When he comes back sane, he'll tell Iris everything. wink Until then, he won't tell.

His father was Temper, the Sanguine Tiger, a proud and dangerous Kirkani stallion, sane, raised a Kirkani in a small Kirkani herd; Enfys' mother was Alienora, the Clouded Rainbow, born a Sylrin, who fell as deeply in love with the Sanguine Tiger as the Sanguine Tiger fell in love with her, which was why she eventually chose to follow her deadly mate into his herd, where she lived under his protection and gave birth to their only foal, Enfys, too young to be given a title when the herd was killed by kirin seeking retribution; Enfys only escaped because his parents hid him in a hollowed tree, intending to come back for him once it was safe. As the known only child of the Sanguine Tiger and the Clouded Rainbow who's acting as a Sylrin despite being a Pryrin and, some believe, having the taste buds of a Kirkani, Enfys cannot reveal his relationship to the Sanguine Tiger and the Clouded Rainbow, just as his Kirkani birth must remain secret.

The fall after Enfys' children were born, the kirkani he'd tried to bury in his soul came out, and he stopped thinking rationally after attacking the young lioness pryrin, Dafina, becoming a purely insane kirkani, ruled by the self he buried after his parents' tragic death. He is going to end up meeting the vampire kirin, Alucard, and getting his help to control the kirkani who has overwhelmed Enfys and taken Enfys' life and loved ones. How this will effect Enfys further is not known. When he heads home, Enfys will meet his familiar, Dysme, and when he gets home, he will have a talk with all his pryrin descendants about being a pryrin, and he will also be socializing with all his grandchildren. After that, who knows what will happen to someone like Enfys?

Personality: Aoibheann is a motherly soul, earthy at times, but she generally knows what's going on, and is pretty smart. Surprisingly, she can be a bit shy and easily startled. Despite this, she has successfully raised three beautiful children to adulthood, a matter on which she prides herself at least a little bit. Whenever younger kirin won't listen to her...she's the type to be a bit manipulative and circuitous to achieve what she feels is best for others, even if the advice or truth is unwanted.... She can be a little insecure about her own attractiveness, and was surprised when Mayur lifemated her. Despite this, she's a sweet soul who grew up seeing all kirin as beautiful...largely because she was born as brown as her children were.

History: Amalthea is the last of her people. Something happened to her herd, all of whom looked like her, with the unicorn horn, white coloration, and no faceplates, and she is, to her knowledge, the last of her herd alive. Bile started following her around the time her herd disappeared, and he has kept her safe from loneliness and danger, followed after her wherever she's gone, and become so much a part of her existence that she has begun to develop feelings for him....

I did not want to have to post this. I did not want to post it because I did not want to run the risk of hurting Aerithe any more than it has been hurt. I did not want to create anger and bitterness, any more than has already been created. However, I cannot stand how much bitterness Fel and Llia, two people who, until late December, I loved and trusted with all my heart, keep bringing into Aerithe because of their own hurt. I cannot stand the feeling that out of respect for Fel and a desire to not cause drama that I have been lying to the shop by not telling my side of the story of Aerithe and her staff.

The below was written up and confirmed by Fel to be truth, albeit highly emotional given how distraught and betrayed I felt because of Llia's public journal post in the shop's first thread. Please, only read on if you wish to know what happen, but please be warned: I was incredibly distraught by what happened, and every time Llia or Fel says something to or about me, I still burst into tears; please, do not blame anyone whose username is in this post, including me. The last thing I want to create is any feelings of betrayal or vengeance, because betrayal and a desire for revenge ate up my ability to feel the emotion of love for a decade of my life.

I felt I really had to post this somewhere it could be seen, but I've also wrestled with my conscience, wanting to not cause any more harm. This post will be up for a year, in white text. Please, do not discuss the contents of this post in the shop or anywhere else in the B/C. I'm asking on behalf of everyone listed in this post, and on behalf of Aerithe.

When Fel went on hiatus from Aerithe, she asked the staff to please not disclose the ownership situation until we knew what we were going to do. We were still finalizing details of ownership when Llia made her journal post, but with what's been going on recently.... I have tried to maintain a balanced picture from everyone of Aerithe since I arrived following Lily, a friend of sorts I work for in her first shop. As I worked on this, I was in communication with Fel, Lily, and Yuuka, to prevent me from saying anything incorrect. What follows is a potentially biased account as I know it of the running of Aerithe. I can only hope it is not too colored an account and I say here and now that it only conveys my understanding of what has happened.

Quite frankly, I was saddened and shocked by Llia's sudden resignation and deeply shocked and both angered and saddened by her posting of her journal entries depicting her opinion of me, Lily, and, to some extent, Yuuka. Yuuka was infuriated, Lily was unaware at the time, and though Llia's words hurt, they probably did not shock her as deeply as they shocked some of the rest of us.

I came to Aerithe from Lily's other shop as a friend, initially to kind of check out what my boss was doing with her new shop. I fell in love and was slowly drawn to subscribe. On a passing comment about the OL and thread managers, Lily offered me the job of thread manager and guild manager, knowing that I was her right hand in her other shop and a trustworthy one at that. My payment was the baby Enfys, my sole payment from working on staff until New Year's Eve, when Fel payed all of us. The only time I ever discussed payment prior to that was briefly with Fel to make some kind of sense of what kind of pay I could receive, and it was settled my payment would come from Lily should I ever ask. I continue to operate on that principle, taking some pride in my work and ability to help the customers and the staff in the shop. I have been with the shop as staff only a week or two less than Lily or Ryuukishin, one of our guest colorists.

My responsibilities got shuffled a bit when we took on Fel as co-owner and sae as a second thread manager, given the speedy growth of the shop and the attention it deserved. I started out as being in charge of first and second pages, any and all Owner's Lists, the guild, and any customer support issues, not to mention doing a lot of the running of events, given that I knew that Lily was busy with a baby, a bf, high school, and raising horses on her farm/ranch and needed all the help she could get. Being by nature and periodic occupation a stage hand, I expected neither pay nor recognition of any kind.

With the hiring of Llia and Akima as Fel's helpers, we came to realize that the admin staff had differing opinions of who should do what. Everyone's roles were broken up and redrawn, which slowly continued with the hiring of specialist staff. The outcome was that I was in charge of the Herding subforum in the guild and any and all Owner's Lists, not to mention the customer support natural to my position. World creation and development was, for the majority of the year, left entirely up to Fel and Lily. Much to my surprise in October, I discovered we were even preparing to offer totally new main species in the shop as well as our beloved kirin.

On a couple occasions, however, I did help develop Aerithe a little bit, in ways that I felt I should not brag about or really publicize when I felt that I was just being helpful and doing my part to make things a little easier. I wrote 90% of the elders section under the supervision of the owners, discussing the major points of being an elder with them, what was to be looked for in potential elders, etc.; I took the role of using Nomads as a guinea pig herd so we could work the bugs out of the system before herding became public, and when Nomads became improbably big, I worked with Fel to create the tribes, a type of herd made up of several smaller herds. Tribes and herds are still in the experimental phases, but we had hoped to get one or two functioning herds off the ground as models by the time herding opens sometime this coming year with special new lineart.

I was, admittedly, not there for events as I would have liked. The seaside event occurred around midterms time for me, the sweets event happened while I was traveling out of state...and I most humbly apologize for not being around to help as I would have liked. And I was unsatisfied with my own performance during the naturals event. I was glad when Yuuka was hired, and wished to see her in action working on and running events with the owners of the shop. I wanted to support her abilities, not undermine them by taking control for some events. I freely admit that I can be dreadfully indecisive and have a bad habit of going along with what others say, though part of this may be the result of a bit of shyness and deep-seated fears of disagreement and quarrels.

As the year wore on toward autumn, I noticed Fel seemed worn out and offered to help her with what I could. I was informed that I was to keep going with the Owner's Lists. True, I have not finished updating them to the Dropbox account, but that did not prevent me from wishing I could do more for Fel and the shop. I later discovered that Lily and a few other staffers had offered their help, too. We've been worried about Fel and the workload for quite some time, though the distribution of labor has both lessened the stress load for almost all of us and saddened us as Fel worked to the bone with almost no help.

October came, and partway through our Halloween event, some of the strain started to break through. Fel was getting tired of doing the lion's share of the work during the events because many of the colorists we've hired over the course of the year do not show up, and when we reapportioned jobs among the admin, a lot of the tasks I've observed that are handed to the admin staff below shop owners when such admin staff exist was retained in Fel and Lily's hands; not to mention the fact that Lily cannot always give as much time and attention to this shop as she'd like, which was why Lily asked Fel to become her co-owner. As a result, feeling dreadfully burned out, Fel stepped away from Aerithe for a time, and it was at that time that other problems we hadn't realized began cropping up.

Llia just flat out does not approve of Lily as any kind of staff in Aerithe. Llia also does not like Soquili. At this time, Lily and I began working on getting Lily to the point where she could be Fel's equal and she began working on organizing a staff meeting. To try to end the difficulties with Llia, Llia was asked to help organize a staff meeting. She refused to be of any assistance on the basis that she was Fel's minion and if Fel did not authorize the meeting, she refused to participate in any way, shape, or form. Lily eventually did go on to work on planning this; however, before it could take place, Lily took her baby to get a flu shot. There was an adverse reaction to the shot and Lily, being under a great deal of stress, panicked to the point of hospitalization. Yuuka received word that Lily would be hospitalized throughout November, nixing her for the month from any work in the shop.

Fel and Lily both mentioned to me, privately, that they were strongly considering leaving Aerithe permanently, and in Lily's case, Gaia, and it was asked that I say nothing to the customers about what was wrong, that we had, for the time being, neither owner around, and thus very little control over the shop and its destiny. I feel immensely glad that Aerithe has survived in any way at all.

I began looking for her return in December, on Skype and in the shop. I saw nothing until the twelfth, when I saw her post after she'd logged off. I have continued to seek her out since then, and the week of Christmas, I asked Ryuukishin to email her. Over the weekend of Christmas, kit offered to contact Lily via Lily's DA account, at which point she sent me her email address through kit. I was emailing her until New Year's, and I found out that she intended to return, she's just been preoccupied with other things for the shop she will announce next month and got an infection after a recent surgery.

I heartily congratulate Fel on being hired at Soquili, though from what I have gathered, this upset Llia, who, as I have stated before, does not like Soquili. Yuuka, who has been supportive of Fel's choice to work at Soquili, has stated to me that she has gotten a nasty PM from Llia for being supportive of Fel as staff at Soquili.

Coming into the long-awaited staff meeting with both owners, Fel came in saying firmly that she was leaving Aerithe. She had stated she might sell her assets (familiars, staff guild, image hosting accounts, the stock edit library, and the feather system) to someone she deemed worthy who would be interested. Come the New Year, Fel stated that not only did she know of no one worthy who would want to buy her assets and take their place as Aerithe's co-owner, she wouldn't sell to ANYBODY who was remaining on staff. Her latest post in the new thread as of this time stamp should explain her opinion of everyone who is on staff at this time.

Do I have any personal anger toward Llia and Fel, you may ask. Yes, I think I am entitled to some, and I am thoroughly ashamed of my anger. I offered to help in this shop of my own volition; Fel told me that looking after the guild and the front pages of the shop and accepting trades and whatnot was in no way, shape, or form my job, despite the fact that Lily had hired me to do those jobs. Lily had been working out the feather system and Fel impatiently took over the creation of it before Lily finished. On a personal level which doesn't even belong here, I gave Fel a Christmas present which she refused entirely. I almost never received any kind of thanks or kindness from Fel, but having been a stage hand off and on for ten years, I shrugged this off. I trusted Llia as a friend. Llia didn't even tell me what she thought of me or give me any warning she had begun to hate me. She chose to tell the whole thread publicly that I was...well...I'm sure those who saw the journal entry remember. 'Nuff said. I am trying to think positively of Fel and Llia even now. I try to think of people as basically good and worthy, because ever since I started first grade, most of my peers made me feel like crap and I didn't want to make others feel like that.

To add to this...by the time the shop reopened...I seriously considered quitting. My friends have told me I should quit given the way they feel I've been treated. The only reason they haven't pushed me is because they know just how much I love Aerithe and how hard I worked to make sure there is a future despite getting slapped across the face by people who are feeling bitter about what has happened.
