Life, to Luc, is meant to be enjoyed -- not merely endured. Sweet fruit, soft fabrics, good company, a warm breeze, and a place to sit with your eyes half-closed -- these are the sacred things. He learned early (mostly at his father’s knee) that joy is not a thing to earn, but a thing to live in. So long as no one is harmed, why shouldn’t you take the last piece of cake, stay out too late, or nap in the garden for an hour or three? If there is a god, Luc suspects they wear silk robes and encourage dancing at noon.
Generous to a fault: Luc is always willing to give -- his time (when he feels like it), his coin (freely), and his affection (abundantly). If you mention, offhand, that you like a particular trinket, Luc will likely gift it to you within the hour -- even if it was his to begin with.
