Personality: Piney is friendly to most people that she meets, unless they're unfriendly to her back. Then she gets rough. She's a sweet person, and sometimes is a complete ditz around cute things. She doesn't like being bored, and as a police officer, is rarely often. When she isn't on duty, she usually battles or trains her Pokemon. She strives to be the best, and show what she can do to the other officers that somewhat look down to her because she's a newcomer to Zatao.
She has a fierce sense of right and wrong, and might bend the rules to go with her morale. Though in times of stress she is shown to be a bit of a hypocrite.
Background: Born to a family of psychics, she was the only child to not have any extraordinary ablities, and her parents sort of casted her aside. While the psychics trained at Sabrina's gym, Piney roamed around Saffron city, sometimes causing mischief and further causing dismay to her parents. Since she didn't have any psychic power, they never bothered to give her a Pokemon.
Her life changed when she entered a lottery for an Eevee in Celedon City, and won. Telling her winning only to her younger sister, Angel, she delighted in her new Pokemon, nicknamed Daybreak.
When playing with the Eevee one night, a bunch of shady people approached her and her sister, wanting the rare Pokemon for themselves. Since they were weak, they would've given in if a police officer hadn't intervene and sent the muggers away.
Since then, Piney was inspired to be a police officer, wanting to change lives for the better and help people. She didn't have any purpose here in Saffron, so she stowed away on the train to Goldenrod City, where she trained to be a police officer.
During one of their missions, Piney and Daybreak was cut off from the team while chasing a Rocket Grunt. They wandered around in the dark woods, and got ambushed by hostile Dark and Ghost Pokemon. Since then, they had a phobia of those types until recently, where it was somewhat uplifted.
After proving herself on several more missions, the young police officer was shipped to the growing region of Zatao, with the thought that it would be better if she was stationed there. She met several new friends, Pokemon, and her sister, Angel, and was happy that she was assigned here.

Personality: On the surface, she may seem like an ordinary Espeon. Quiet, thoughtful, and slow to anger. However, it's actually very easy to irritate her and you don't want to be around when she's pissed. Daybreak can also appear apathetic, and that is partially true to an extent. She doesn't care much about anyone unless it concerns her or her friends. But along with possessing a sarcastic sense of humor, she will rise up to the occasion if needed to be.
Background: Piney's first Pokemon, and only Pokemon for most of her life. She never lived a wild life, having been bred in a small Eevee farm and raffled off to the girl at a young age. The two have an exceptional bond, growing through high times and hardships throughout their life. She would give up her life for Piney, and the officer would do the same for her.
Because police training had eliminated most of her need for emotions, she has never really felt love until she met a somewhat flirtatious Absol. Zen's Armageddon. When Piney went to train with Tomfoolry in Kanto, she accidently left her behind in Zatao with him. They had a wild adventure, which ended up in her having his kids. She kept their relation to her a secret from her human, though it might not be long before someone spills the beans.

Personality: Well... the fact that Tomfoolery is a small, pink kitten isn't very helpful. He hates being called cute, and will smack anyone that calls him that. He's somewhat aggressive, though if you get on his nice side, he can be friendly. And he's also quick to jump into things, much to the dismay of his trainer.
Background: His previous officer, who shall go unnamed, didn't want him anymore seeing that he was neither powerful or suitable for contests. So Tomfoolery was given to Piney, who is taking much better care of him than he could ever will.
Likes: Winning, sweet food, bright shiny things, Angel, Piney
Dislikes: Losing, Pokemon bigger than him, boredom, being punished

Personality: Even though Twilight has grown past the puppy stage, she still acts very childish and immature. She doesn't understand the secret relationship her family is in, along with why people shouldn't give her cookies all the time. She has hardened a bit, seeing as she's in the police business and such, but she's still the sweet and kind Absol as she was before.
Background: Piney doesn't know that Daybreak had kids with Armageddon, and so thus she has to keep her love for her parents and sister to a minimum. The officer just thinks that Twilight is an orphan that Daybreak has somewhat adopted, so that's that.

Personality: Era doesn't trust humans that often, and often acts timid around them. Though when left alone with other Pokemon, she regains her sense of curiousity and playfulness. She also can be attracted by music and shiny things.
Background: A swablu that got lost during a migration, she wandered into the city of Katarina and was attacked by vicious Pokemon and cruel humans. She would've been beaten to death if Piney hadn't stepped in. And even then she wouldn't have survived long enough for the trip to the Pokemon Center. The officer had no choice but to use a Heal Ball on Era, which sustained her long enough to get proper treatment.

Personality: Piney doesn't know much about this Shaymin. She seems to be an oddity of her species, besides the fact that she has multicolored glowing spots. While she is normal in the sense that she loves flowers, she is also fascinated with humans and probably spends more time in Katarina than other Shaymins. She sometimes mimic their habits, like arranging flowers or Christmas trees (out of Pokemon), but she also does what she can to clean up the pollution the city is already spewing out. Bryghtstar still has a lot of energy to play around, and she isn't shy of anyone friendly. The only human that knows of her existence though is a certain police officer...
Background: Maybe she was casted out of a Shaymin clan because of her odd nature. Or she just likes the city and people. Her history is even lesser known than her personality. But it's known that Bryghtstar made a tree out out of shiny Tangelas, Sudowoodos, and a Starmie on top, and it caused a lot of commotion. There is a reason for that. She was hurt, and she thought that at the time that it would be a good disguise. Thankfully, Piney managed to heal her before anyone else could find out what was up.
