Battlefield
Canyon Field: The Canyon walls toward high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces themselves are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces themselves are very damp (moss is also present due to the continuous moisture) which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff, announcing an option for land-based pokemon such as to grab and swing; however, these cannot bare that much weight and WILL break if such a thing happens. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Visually is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FLYING type attacks.

Piney never fought in this field before. She hadn't battled with her new opponent before either. Smiling a bit at the prospect of an interesting battle, she unhooked Tomfoolery's Pokeball from her belt and threw it up in the air.
"Let's do our best!"
The skitty almost fell right to the bottom of the canyon. Luckily, there was a tree growing on the wall and he was able to land on its wide branches. He panted a bit, surprised by his rough entry, then looked around for his foe. Who was it going to be?
While he was making himself comfortable, she turned to the trainer at the opponent opposite from her. "Hi! What's your name? I'm Piney!"

Zero was really sarce to see that this place was going to be where his first battle was.He look up at Frosty, whose was on his head. Are you ready for your first fight!?
The Piplup was to happy that this was his first fight! He jump off Zero's head and land on to the branches of a tree. Then he seen his foe. He look at him with a smile.
Zero saw his opponent. "Umm hello!... I'm Zero, nice to meet you Piney. Good luck in the battle. let make a good one."

"You too." Piney replied. And now she was going to have the first move, so she shouldn't waste time in doing so.
"Start it off with a Tail Whip!"
No attacking moves? Oh well. This will make his attacks more devastating then. Noticing that Frosty was on the same tree-platform as him, he took a step forward. But the branches shook. It couldn't support both him and the Piplup if they kept on moving around all the time.
Tomfoolery didn't care that much about it anyway, and fwapped him with his fluffy tail. What a degrading move.

Now you just put -50 Def in your Pokemon info, to show that he lowered his defense.))

Zero fip his hat on brackwards and look at Frosty."Ok Boy! Do peck! Then jump into the Canyon!" He did this because he knew that the tree would not hold them for long.
"Yeah let get this on!" said the piplup. He came fast at Tomfoolery and peck him. He jump in to the sky and dive into the Canyon. He was kind of srace to go in there but he jnew that Zero knew what he was doing.

Tomfoolery couldn't dodge the peck, not with so little space. He mewled as the Piplup's beak struck him, and was almost pushed off into the canyon. He was able to grab onto a branch at the last though, and cling there.
This wasn't looking real good actually. Piney watched with a sigh of relief as he managed to climb back up, securing his spot on the tree for now.
"Shock wave!"
The skitty was panting a bit as he turned to Frosty. Mewing loudly, he focused the static electricity building in his fur to unleash small bolts of electricity all around him.
((It's Super effective. So it adds +50 to my damage.
HP: 675/800))

Frosty made a noise when the bolt hit him. He fond a tree near the middle of the canyon. He was gald that he went dwon there. He look up at Tomfoolery and knew where to hit him. he just need it for Zero to see it.
Zero huff as Frosty was hit. he did not like it one bit that Frosty got hit. "Ok Boy peck work the first time, so let do it again!"
Frosty was gald that Zero said peck. Frosty jump up and went for Tomfoolery's belly.

((Uh, I think it's suppose to be 200 damage because of the Tail Whip and super effectiveness.))
The skitty didn't see the attack coming from below. He tried to dodge it but still was pecked on his belly. And worse, he rolled away off the tree and down into the canyon. Only a quick grabbing onto a ledge in the wall spared him from splatting onto whatever was below.
"Hang in there Tomfoolery!" Piney meant that quite literally. Thankfully he wasn't so far away from Frosty, so he could still launch an attack.
"Another Shock Wave!"
He climbed up onto the ledge, which didn't have much space for him to maneuver around a bit, but Shock Wave didn't need much room. He built up electricity in himself again and sent more bolts out in every direction.

Zero began to thin and came up with a very good idea. "Ok boy! Let try that move that you just learn ok! Here we go boy! Brick Break!"
Frosty new that move and was glad he said it. Then he came fast at Tomfoolery!

((You messed up your HP. It's suppose to be 400 before this attack. XD; ))
Tomfoolery saw the Piplup jumping towards him and avoided the attack just in time by jumping over him. It was a brash thing to do though, and he would've fallen into the canyon if he didn't spot another tree in time. Using his tail to grip a branch (something he rarely does), the Skitty clambered up and shook some leaves off of him.
"Good going!" Piney cried out. "Use Shock Wave again!"
He would've liked to actually hit his opponent for once instead of using electricity. But it was the quickest way to defeat him. The static electricity was again unleashed as jolts of lightning flying every which way.

Frosty jump up in time to doged the attcak. Then grab one of the tree branches from above with his beak. He pull his self up on top of it.
"Yeah! That the way to do it boy!" Zero yell. "Now use Brick Break again!"
He was happy to use this new move it made the piplup feel bigger then the Skitty. Frosty leap from the tree's branch and aim at the Skitty.

((I think we should have an epic miss war. XD))
Tomfoolery leaped off the tree again, and this time planned ahead and landed on the ledge like he wanted too. He could get used to a field like this, though he'd still like firm ground instead of branches and small niches in the cliff.
Piney was sorta bummed that his attack missed, but they were still ahead HP wise. Unless she got unlucky or they got lucky, they had this battle in the bag.
"Another Shock Wave!"
Tomfoolery turned around to face Frosty again and sent another shock wave towards him. He won't miss this time!
