It had been a very long week but they had survived the ordeal at Inhinx with everyone....somewhat intact. Now, after several hours of riding in a noisy and crowded chopper back to Katarina, the group had arrived and been escorted to the fanciest hotel in the city.

The place was the best of the best: a spa and hot springs in the back, a five-star restaurant in the lobby, and individual rooms for each of the trainers who had gone on the caravan!

Who woulda thunk this kind of treatment awaited them after a near-death experience in the wild?

Home again -- or at least, back to Katarina -- and still in one piece, Kazuki had departed from the helicopter, slid into the hotel, grabbed his room key, and had promptly disappeared into his room. He'd had enough excitement and near-death experiences to last him a couple lifetimes. He had dropped his bag onto the floor, kicked off his shoes, and flopped face-first onto the soft bed with a sigh. He reached down and pulled two pokeballs from his pocket, letting loose Manami and Ryou. Manami seemed awed by the lovely room for merely a second before she waddled off to thoroughly explore the room. Ryou, on the other hand -- paw? -- merely sat there for a moment or two. Where were they? He wiggled his toes, flicking an ear. It was oddly quiet, save for the breathing of the human nearby and the questionable rummaging sounds coming from Manami. His milky white eyes glowed dark blue for a bit as he looked through Manami's eyes, instructing her to look around the room. She did so, allowing Ryou to see the lavish hotel room.

He sniffed a bit, his eyes returning to their normal non-glowing milky white, and he turned and hopped up onto the bed. He padded over and swiftly found his new trainer, and he promptly sat on Kazuki's back. "Bre," he said, flicking his golden-ringed tail.

"Mmfnnm," Zuki mumbled into the bedsheets before turning his head, looking at the dark-type out of the corner of his eye. "Are you hungry, Ryou? I bet you both are. Manami hasn't had a proper meal since before we left, and I don't know when the last time you had one was." Hmm... But to get them a good meal, that would mean he would have to go down and explore the hotel to find the dining room, and that meant having to be around a lot of people at once. That didn't sound too appealing...

After bouncing off the chopper, Jen had basicly done the same thing as Kazuki had when he had departed for the hotel. She wandered up to the front desk, demanded her room key, and fled to her room on the third floor.
Unlocking the oaken door, Sheraced in before turning and slamming the door shut behind her. (This caused a few protests from her neighbors up and down the hallway.) Still, they weren't important at the moment; the hot spring downstairs was calling to the trainer and Aeon. Grabbing the other two pokeballs, she tossed them into the air to let out Aya and Ace from the tiny containers. As Aya simply laid down near the heater, Ace fluttered around the room for a moment before finding his perfect perch: The rod inside of the walk-in closet.
Changing into a bathing suit in the large bathroom, Jen walked out to find Aeon playing with the remote control, channel surfing while curled up on one of her pillows. Oh great....he's turned into a couch potato.
"*sigh* I'm heading down to the springs for a bit, watch the room while i'm gone, you three!"
With that said, she opened and closed the door behind her to head towards the elevator. Hot springs, here we come!

Luna had wandered into the hotel right after Jen. It was near Halloween and she felt like scaring someone. As the rotating doors swung open to reveal the next person, Luna jumped infront of them and yelled "Fjoasdjfksldjfo!"

"Ack!" Kailana jumped back in a defensive position at the weirdo that lept at her, her hands already in fists. What was -with- these oddball strangers lately?!
Isamu quickly lept to defend as well, barring his teeth at the strange woman.

Piney was in her room, her bag of luggage on the nicely made bed and Daybreak snoozing on it, guarding her possesions. She felt like going to the hot springs, and melt away all the wounds, cramps, and other such pains that she had received in the journey.

"You want to come Daybreak?" She asked, not aware that the Espeon was fast asleep. Piney didn't bother waking her up anyway, since she was still recovering from the fever she obtained from the last part of the trip.

"Alright. Just guard the room and my stuff, ok?" She told the purple lump and closed the door behind her. She didn't bother locking her room, since any robber seeking to steal anything would be in for a big nasty shock.

Heading down to the springs with a towel and extra clothes, she was wondering about that Pokeball that one of the policemen had given her. He was surpressing a laugh as he handed that ball to her, so whatever was in there must be... well... she wasn't even sure if there WAS anything in there.

OMG! What the heck was with that sudden attack?! Piney instinctively reached for her Pokeball, but remembered that Daybreak was in her hotel room.

... Wait? Did this girl just call out her name?

"GAWD! What's this about? Get off me!"

"Who the heck are you? Do you go around glomping random people? Cause I'm a police officer you know! And how the heck you know my name?!"

Piney wasn't liking this girl, not at all. She just wanted to go relax in the hot springs, and instead this little bugger had to jump on her and cause annoyance. And commotion. Already some of the tenants were peeking out into the hall, scowling at the disturbed caused by her.

Why did she had to leave Daybreak in her room at the worst possible time?!
