The same referee that conducted Piney and Jen's last match was going to oversee the rematch. Wondering who was going to win this time, he took a deep breath and spun the battle selector. Eyes from the audience locked onto the spinning wheel, seeing that it was selected:
The Rock field! Tremors rippled forth from center-field as the basic floor shifted to a rock and dirt field, rock towers jutted forth from the ground to offer a place of escape or an attack advantage. The breeze from the stadium air conditioners stirred the loose sand on the field, this creates a mini sandstorm that could possibly blind those who were battling.

Piney leaned against the railing, surveying the battleground and the opponent on the opposite side. She was having a rematch against Jen, and she wasn't confident that she was going to win this time. But she wasn't sure she was going to lose either.
"Get out there Daybreak!"
A red beam bursted out of the Pokeball, forming the familiar shape of an Espeon. She landed on a rock pillar, regconizing the landscape of this battle. This was the type of field selected for their first battle in Zatao, wasn't it? What a coincidence.

Jen didn't even need to throw her pokemon's container this time, Aeon had walked into the stadium at her side and headed straight towards the field. Laughing at her pokemon's excitement, she pulled herself onto the trainer podium and gave the field a glance-over.
The Rock Field.....They havent battled here in so long....not since their first battle in Zatao Stadium. This was going to be interesting.
Aeon, on the otherhand, was perched on a rock pillar much like Espeon was on the other side of the field. His tail flicked back and forth as he glared at the other pokemon.

The referee blew the whistle, indicating that the battle was to begin.
Piney turned to the source of the noise and then back to the battle. "Ok Daybreak! Let's start things out with a bang! Psychic!"
Hoping to make this move count, Daybreak stood perfectly still as she reached into the place where her psychic energy was stored. Pulling them out hastily, the gem on her forehead acted as a vent for the psychic energy, which released them with a massive pulse.

With the battle experience gained from this stadium, Aeon swiftly dodged the attack so it only grazed his tail. Bounding from pillar to pillar, the Raichu quickly made his way towards the Psychic pokemon.
"Alright! Let's show these two a real bang! THUNDER!"
Stopping and gripping the pillar with his small claws, Aeon concentrated as a mixture of yellow, gold, and blue sparks crackled all over his body. Finally, he released a barrage of lightning towards the Espeon.

Daybreak hastily put up a psychic shield of sorts, trying to lessen the damage from the Thunder. It did work, but she was using up her energy too fast. The barrier broke at the last second and a jolt of electricity managed to zap her. She slid back, almost to the edge of the pillar, but stayed on.That tricky Aeon was using his speed to dodge most of the attacks Daybreak threw at him! He was better than Aura that's for sure. At least she was equipped with a nearly unavoidable attack. "Swift attack now!" Daybreak edged closer to the center of the pillar, and concentrated to form ghostly stars. She examined the Raichu's movements for a bit before sending them after him.((900/1000)) (( Dice roll here.))

Aeon quickly took off once more, using his speed to dodge the stars hurled in his direction. Bounding from pillar top to pillar top, an illusion of several Raichu forming a circle around Daybreak appeared. Which one was the real thing.....well, that was a secret she would have to figure out.
"Alright Big guy! Let's get this started! We need to finish the fight and yer making me dizzy!" Laughing at her own weirdness, she decided on a new attack that she had taught him. Although it had been used a few times, it was still considered "new".
"Aeon, Let's go! HYPER BEAM!"
The illusion broke as the real Aeon jumped high into the air, the attack already charged and ready to deal a blow. Landing on another pillar, he instantly fired the amber beam at the psychic pokemon.

Hyper beam?! How did Aeon learn Hyper beam?! The TM most have cost a lot for the owner!
Her thoughts proved her surprise as she couldn't brace herself and flew into the air. She turned her body to land on her feet, and she did. But not on the pillar. The Espeon landed on the floor, and winced at the sudden impact her feet had to endure.
Piney couldn't believe that the Raichu learned Hyper beam. It would've been handy on that Inhinx trip, but what's done was done.
"Get back onto the high ground while he's still weak!" She called out to Daybreak, knowing that after using Hyper Beam, Pokemon usually had to rest. "And prepare a Hidden Power!"
Shaking off the aftershock, Daybreak jumped about like a ping pong ball on the pillar sides while glowing orbs started to form around her. The momentum from the bouncing fueled the Hidden Power, and the Hidden Power fueled her jumping.
When she was close to the top, she released the wildly spinning spheres in all directions, hoping it would hit Aeon. And she desperately caught herself onto the edge of a tower, being occupied with launching the attack.
