“You have been cordially invited…” Crystal eyes skimmed over the forged sheet of paper as his lips mouthed the rest of the embossed words with a rushed seriousness. It was almost time for this important mission to start, and his partner wasn’t there yet. Typical. Nodding with a furrowed brow, a slip of black hair fell into his face as he tucked the slip of paper away into his breast pocket. Bones frowned and then brushed it back with a flick of he wrist, knowing he needed to look the part. Adjusting the suit coat, he tugged at his tie a bit wishing it was a warm turtle neck instead. Letting out a deep breath, he sighed and looked to his side. Cooper was there all brushed up and handsome looking for once, the Arcanine usually protested but tonight he knew his master was serious. Tail wagging happily, his tongue panted out showing off the faint backwards ‘R’ scar there.
Tapping his pokemon’s chin, Bones’ let a wistful smirk show. “Chin up boy. You can’t show that here.” Whimpering, Cooper gave his hand a little lick to say he understood. Then suddenly with ears perking up, he leaned over a bit to look past the tall thin undercover Rocket to the person approaching.

Turning on his heel(his shoes shiner than normal), Bones sighed once more for good measure and slipped his hands onto his hips. “You’re late.” He was told his partner was a girl, so at first he was a bit excited to go on this mission. He’d accompany a beautiful lady, who was at rotten as him. However, upon being nosy and looking up her profile, Bones knew this was going to be more than a handful. Feeling a migraine already starting, he fingered the sinus point between his eyes on the bridge of his nose. “You’d at least better be ready, the party’s starting.” He stated, glancing up at her after jerked a thumb over his shoulder. The manor’s lights were bright, and shining up against the sides of the amazing building. “We gotta get going.” Cooper barked lightly at this, almost for emphasis.

"Sorry," panted Zinnia, who had run to catch up. Instead of her normal Rocket uniform, she wore a fancy blue dress that brought out the color of her hair nicely. "We're... ready," she said, catching her breath and fixing her hair to be more lady-like. "Oh no!" she cried, feeling her hair. "My special hair pin... I must've-- Oh, thank you, Zyk!"

Zyk had caught up with his trainer a bit late. He had preened his fur to have a beautiful shine, just to fit in. It was he who had convinced Zinnia to not go to the party in her Rocket uniform; he had to threaten to poison her until she consented to wear a dress. In his mouth was the lost hairpin, which he dropped into her hand. There was a smaller version of the pin on Zyk's ear.

"It's so we can communicate if we get separated!" Zinnia said brightly, pushing the gadget into her hair near her ear. "Maybe it won't be necessary, but I thought it would be fun to finally use some of the Team's neat stuff..." Zinnia surreptitiously straightened her dress sleeve, covering a number of other things that she was "borrowing" from the Team Rocket storage room. "Shall we go?" she asked slyly.

The front gate was guarded by four policemen and their houndooms, along with them were two staff people checking the invitations and a list of invited people. On the fence wall, near the door, a sign was hang, in cursive lettering, it read 'Abaddon Hart Manor'

Most of the ground was cover in the lushes grass and wild flowers, thought behind the house, one could make the the large trees that made up a small forest for a 'backyard'. The state was five miles away from nearest city and only the stone fence parted it from its slightly wilder surroundings. A large walk of flat stones in earthy tones was made from the road to the front of the large mansion.

The large building was just that, large. Two floors, and several windows, that at the moment were so lit up, it was too much of a bother to count them. A Gothic era style, with its perches for gargoyles and its towers. Instead of the regal white that most rich people use in their homes, the owners had gone with greens and browns tones that were by far more attractive in their own rights. Even thought most of the lights were on, much of the property around it remind in darkness. The guests, tho, could see the beams of lights from guards scouting the area, and if they squint, they would could make up the shape of a dojo that stood between the property.

Entering the mansion(besides being mildly blinded by the change of lighting), a staff person would greet them kindly, take their coats from them and point them in the right direction towards the ballroom. All doors in the hall leading to said place, were politely close and locked.

The hallway held paintings of different fields of the world, by the manner they were painted, it was done by the same person. The wooden floors were a dark warm and rich color and the walls were painted a cream color to give a more homely feeling. Down the hall, mahogany double doors were widely open, leading into the large ballroom where their hosts were waiting.

The ballroom was circular, with large windows and grey-speckled black marble. The walls were made of a dark rich wood, designs carved in the six columns that stuck out from the walls, the fascinating designs lead the eyes up, and if one did bother to look up all the way to the ceiling, they would find that ceiling had a dome-shaped sky-light. Had lights been off, one would had been able to see the skies perfectly.

Round tables were scatter near the walls, dressed in dark green cloths, with assorted foods and drinks, a server by each one. Much short-legged tables were also set up, with assortments of pokemon food, fruits, vegetables and meat, along with appropriated food. A small band stood by the side, playing a soothing tune. They also chairs assorted about, for the elderly or those tired of standing on their feet.

This is were the hosts were found and what strange sort they were.

-----

Daniel Hokee Abaddon wished, for the umpteenth time, that he could had escaped this place. Or rather, he wished that these people were not in his house, but he knew why they had to do this, so he plaster on a smile. His brown hair was tied back in a loose ponytail at his nape. He wore a dark green dress shirt, a black tie, black dress pants and dress shoes. He held a glass that seemed to hold red wine, but it was actually just juice. He was only fifteen, after all. This party hadn't been his idea, rather his adoptive father's. He sighed before giving a polite smiled towards someone coming to greet him. His maroon eyes slipped away after the greeting towards another host. He let himself smirk, very glad he had at least dragged his adoptive brother into this.....he deserved it as punishment, really. Ah, how he wished he could take a photo of that expression of discomfort in the others face.

Violet eyes looked towards Daniel, a low growl rumbled in his chest. Adriel Lock E. Hart was less then happy of being pulled into this snooty my-horse-is-bigger-then-yours showing-off business talk party. Yes, he understood that they had to befriend other rich people, it had its benefits, mainly with the expensive research they conduct for the medical fields. Something the older folks there would be very interested in, since their system were beginning to deteriorate. A subtle smirk painted itself into the extremely pale-skinned healer. Self-righteous f-, he wasn't allowed to finish his thoughts as he took a sip from his drink(red wine) to prevent himself from saying something very cruel to the elder man before him.
He felt uncomfortable, even his brother agreed that he look strange without his chest exposed, said comment, of course, had led to a half hour of innuendos and bouts of laughter. Of course, he wore black dress slacks and dress shoes, white dress shirt(which had black designs that matched those of his normal wear) with a dark purple tie to match his unusual eye color. His goatee had been trimmed and his long white hair had been tied with several purple ringlets. The only thing that no one had been able to made him get rid of(that they know of), was his katana. The sword hung with its sheath from a belt loop of his pants.

Faraon sat by his human, his fur glossy and brushed to the point that the persian wanted to messed up just to feel more comfortable. A silver chain was wrapped around his neck and wore a Egyptian cobra armlet on one of his arms...at least that's what he thought it was. His blind eyes weren't capable of identifying the jewelry, but for the compliments, he could guess that it had blue jeweled eyes to match his rare blue jewel. He rose his head in a more regal manner, looking fierce. At least he was making people think twice about coming over to speak his human. Good, they had nothing good to say to either of them. If another person came over to call him pretty with the wrong gender again, he was going to snap their neck too.

Santiago sat down nearby, petting the head of a shiny Eevee who lay in his lap, half asleep. The man had black hair with white and grey hairs starting to show at the sides. Wearing all black tux, his blue eyes traced over the crow. He smiled to himself and turned to the man sitting besides him.

A red head around the same age as him, the only person that was more inappropriately dressed then Adriel. Ugami was dressed in his best robes, but he stuck out like a sore thumb, just like Adriel's white outfit, as he wore a dark crimson traditional clothes of his Japanese heritage. Like Adriel, he had a sword with him. His green eyes turned to his friend, glaring. not only had he been force to have his hair and beard trimmed by a 'professional'. He dislike that with a passion, but another reason to glaring was the self-satisfied smile on his friend's face. "This isn't real punishment. He is just bored."

"This isn't the time to discuss it, Ugami. Besides...you will probably get your own kicks at him later..." Santiago only got a huff in response.

Ordinarily, Piney wouldn't be here. She was not rich, she didn't have any rare Pokemon (besides an annoying Shaymin), and she didn't like attending parties with snooty people. But she had to, for the sake of security.

Even though it seems like there were plenty of it. She thought that to herself as she stepped past her fellow officers and gave them a nod of recognition. Luckily for her, she didn't have to guard the front entrance for now, and she'll have some time to enjoy the party. Joy.

She could feel the stares that people were giving her as she walked by them and into the main room. This was just another job for her, so of course she wore her uniform to the dance. It was slightly fancier than her normal wear, but it still told everyone that she was an officer, and you didn't want to annoy her too much.

Piney sighed as she glanced around the room and the people that littered it. She didn't recognize anyone. Well, actually, there was that creepy dude that went on the mine trip that one time, but she didn't really know anything else besides his face.

Whoa, wait a sec. Did the guy have a sword? And the guy with him? Weren't the officers outside suppose to confiscate such things? She shook her head a bit before turning her head away from them and started admiring the chandelier. It wasn't much more of a relief that she had a gun she never used before with her, strapped on her belt in plain view. It was really all just for show and intimidation.

The Espeon stuck to her officer's side like a Teddiursa's paw stuck to honey. She was slightly frightened, but more irritated at the Pokemon and people gathered here. Sure, they might be prettier and more elegant than her. But could they hold up on their own in a fight?

Her purple gaze followed Piney's to the swords, but she wasn't as concerned about them as the human. She was a bit bored by all this and started to examine the Pokemon instead. A blind Persian. A shiny Eevee. This was an interesting crowd, maybe one of them could have a small battle sometime, if it was allowed.

"Wow! Would you look at this place, Snookie!" Kayla whispered in awe as she walked up the path to the house. Kayla had never been to a fancy party such as this before. The only reason she was even existing on the very grounds of this gold mine was because of a gentleman at the Pokemon Center told her that they were hosting a party at a mansion several miles from the city. He told her that it wasn't his kind of thing but thought that with Snookie, being what he is, she would fit right in even if she wasn't loaded with cash.

Kind of bewildered but curious, Kayal took the invitation as a sign of luck. She would get to see rare pokemon then, if the gentleman words were of any indication at all. Snookie, on the other hand, was just gleeful at the thought of snatching yummy treats from unsuspecting people out of their hand or plates.

Kayla figured that it was best that they hid Snookie's true form while they were at the party. Being a Mew does attract alot of attention and since this wasn't their party, they better keep it low.

As they showed their invitation to the guards in front of the house, who basically scowled at them before letting them pass. Snookie was taking on the form of a Swablu, flying ahead but within yards of Kayla.

At the entrance of the mansion, Kayla's jaw dropped to the ground as she looked around her. If she could live in a place like this....there is no limit on what she could do or imagine.

"We are not home anymore, Snookie...sure as hell not." Kayla whispered again, not waiting to sound rude or improper in this kind of place.

Kayla nodded her head, politely at the greeter and declined that she had no coat of any sort before heading her way to the ballroom. She was wearing a maroon dress that stops below her knee. Without the outer layer covering, which had feathery frills around the neckline and wrist, it would have been a spaghetti strapped dress. Her multi-layered necklace sparkled and complimented her outfit.

Normally, Kayla would have her hair up but being as this was a rare occasion, she decided to put it down for tonight.

As she entered the ballroom, it was already crowded with people. There was no one that she recognized but she figured that. She was just here for the experience of seeing rare pokemon and the food.

Food. Kayla thought with horror as she tried to locate Swablu!Snookie, frantically. It was mere moments before Kayla spotted him and he was already perched on one of the chandellers nibbling on a chocolate-covered strawberry.

"Oh boy." Kayla sighed before heading over where Snookie was. She already had a feeling that she would be following Snookie all night to make sure he doesn't cause any trouble and if he does, she would be the one to apologies again and again.

Medley stared up towards the house as she journeyed towards it. It was a lavishly large house, but this only caused the brunette to scoff. Why didn't her sister have such money? If she whored her Stantler around, they would at least have money to have a good dinner, rather than constantly having Tamato soup every day. Sighing, tightly curled ringlets bobbed in front of her stern eyes, wavering about as if looking like trinkets to play with. Poji was nestled atop the young girls head, twisted about with her ears twitching to every sound that was made from the little girl's puffy lace dress. The green bow that adorned her hair made it hard for the Pikachu to be seen. Gritting her teeth about, she made no remark towards the security out front as she slipped passed them. The party was what she expected it to be. All sparkly and pretty. Anything that practically matches the tastes of those built from fortune. Sighing, she wished the Rockets actually gave her something to do. Having off days suck.

Messa tried her best to stay hidden as she held her Panddirusa in usual gesture, pressed against her bosom. She was ducked down between a couple who was raping their Snubbull with love. It in turn was moaning with happiness. Messa sighed as Kiru stirred from sleep. She was amazed no one had bombarded her about Kiru yet. He was strangely colored afterall. But it was too late. As soon as Messa smiled and waved at security and entered the building, she was circled with pretentious breeders who were busy pulling at Kiru's fur and cheeks.

Oh what a night this will be.

Chase had heard about the snazzy party, and he had decided that all that money just wasting away in these people's pockets was a cryin shame. He knew from all sorts of testimonials at seminars he had been at that lots of money only brought sadness and bad things.. so he intended to make sure these nice people lived a happy life. That, and he knew the local Rockets would pay handsomely for that shiny Eevee.. not to mention several other Pokemon that were in there. With this in mind, he had stolen an invitation and a new tux, then slept the last night before the party with visions of money dancing in his head.

On the day of the party, Chase had gone in disguise. He had donned an orange tux with a bright red shirt underneath, sleek black pants and shoes, an orange top hat with a red ribbon around the brim, bright orange dress gloves, and a dashing orange cape, though this one was more suave and fancy than the normal cape he wore, it still had the dual purpose of being a black cloak. His red hair had been slicked back and gelled, and had enough hair product in it to groom a Persian. He had several rings on, though they served an extra purpose. Each one had a capsule underneath the opaque plastic gem that would explode in a cloud of smoke of various colors. His item ball was in the inside pocket of his light jacket, ready to receive the massive amount of valuables and cash that he planned on getting at this party, but alongside it were several Rocket Balls, Pokeballs made by Team Rocket and designed especially for stealing Pokemon. There were a good number of others in his item ball, but he needed these out just in case. All of his Rocket Balls had been modified by an acquaintance of his to make them more like item balls than actual Pokeballs, allowing them to "capture" Pokemon while they were in their original Pokeball. These had also been aesthetically modified, and were orange with a large white "C" on the top. His dagger and hunting knife were in their usual places, but had been incorporated into his tux in case of weapon searches.

Chase walked casually up to the gate and presented his invitation with a flourish and a grin, greeting the officers as he went inside. There, he proceeded to survey the area approvingly. This would be an "enriching" night.

"Wow.....Is big..." Mike could only gap like a idiot while standing on the walkway towards the house. This was just....dang, even his parents' ranch back in Johto didn't compare to this slice of the world of the rich and powerful. Shoving his hands into the pockets of dress pants he wore, he leaned back to stare at the gargoyles on the roof only to loose his balance and fall backwards. Mike was only saved from hard contact with the stone by his partner. Pushing to his feet, the Luxray eyed him with a sterned expression before snorting in irritation.

"Well! Excuse me for being born with a lack of balance in my life." The pokemon ranger brushed away the bits of fur clinging to the black dress pants before straightening the elegant-looking (yet comfortable) dark-green turtleneck and the dark-blue blazer he wore over it. Not only that, but his messy head of hair had been tamed and combed down with some hair gel. All and all, the former farm boy could now blend in with higher society...save for the sneakers he was wearing in place of the dress shoes that should have been on his feet. Battle Royale, too, looked the part of high society. His fur had been combed and it glistened with some oil given to him by one of his friends at the base; the feather accessory had been replaced with a silver collar studded with sapphires.

Stupid undercover missions...Mike grumbled and tugged on the sleeve of his turtleneck that kept snagging on the styler hidden underneath. They had recieved a tip-off from a unknown source that there was a party being held here tonight with a great deal of rich people and their pokemon attending. Despite the police ready to leap on someone who even breathed wrong, his boss decided to send in a few Rangers to assist...

Thus, Mike got dragged in unwillingly...with the threat that he didn't attend, he'd been shipped to the Howling Forest for a week. And everyone knows how much fun THAT place was....

"C'mon, Royale...Let's get this over with." The two marched through the entrance without incident and made way towards the ballroom. The crowd was already quite large and many were in clusters; some looked like they were gathered around and commenting on a poor pokemon trapped in the middle of the circle. Mike only sighed in pity and made a way to move towards the food table, only to have his way blocked by several old ladies and gents; the light glittering off the ladies jewelry blinded the Ranger as they poked, prodded, pulled and stared at Royale, commenting as the pokemon standed there dumbfounded.

Leanne was very surprise that she was even invite to something like this. She really didn't have a lot money, but she did had a oddly color teddiursa. She walk up to the people who guarded the door and show her invite. She gave a weak smile because she was very nerves because she really didn't talk to people.

She walk in and her mouth drop. She had never seem such a big place before or as beautiful. She walk carefully because she was wearing hills. She had on a dark green dress, which touch the floor, with a earthy necklace around her neck and for one time in her life, her long curly brown hair was not under a bonnet. She didn't even have her basket so she had to hold a sleeping Nookies under her bosom.

The man next to the coat rack ask her for a coat but she did not have one. She try to take everything in and let out a deep breath. She hope Nookies would sleep awhile because once he smell all the food, her night would be over. She smile and went over and sat down until her teddiursa open one eye.

Nookies open one eye and look around, to see if there was anything worth to get up for. He sniff the air and drool. 'This must be the most wonderful place in the world. Such wonderful smell, I have to go and eat.' He jump out of Leanne hand and ran over to the buffet table and started to eat the berries that was nicely place on a nice china place.

Leanne sigh, she hope this wouldn't happen. She didn't wanted to look like she didn't have any class, but she knew her Teddiursa love food. "Nookies come over please." she plead. She ran over and tried to get her Teddi form eating all the food.

Bones found his lips twitching slightly into an amused smirk at Zinnia’s detailed preparedness, as he slipped his glasses onto his nose. Just a prop for tonight. “You look nice.” It was always proper to compliment a lady, even little ones.

One small thing altered at a time, from his clothing to hair…it all made the biggest difference when on a mission such as this. Names were changed, even personalities. Tonight, Bones was going to be playing the part of Edrick White, accompanying his younger sister Vanessa White to the local Pokemon gala event. This was going to be interesting. Letting a chuckle slip, he adjusted his crimson tie once more for good measure. The collar rubbed against the ‘R’ scar on his throat, which had been covered up with the garment and a slight bit of costume makeup. Being marked, whether scar or tattoo was hard to manage around when playing this game of deception, but it didn’t pose a problem for Bones.

Zinnia was supposedly up for this, and he really hoped so in the back of his mind. At least knowing the girl was hand selected to partner with him on this particular job put him a little more at ease….but still the knowledge that it was still a training exercise to the girl, didn’t change that it was a real mission for him. Shifting his shoulder uncomfortably, he shook his head. Strapped to his back was his short sword, and it was irritating his wound. Just the tip of the scabbard tapped it, making the injury even more bothersome than before. However, he wasn’t going unarmed, especially with his current status. Positioned differently than he normally carried it on his back, it was aimed with the hilt down, so it wasn’t a hard to make over-the-shoulder grab for him. It was just a matter of moving his hand back.

Cooper was watching Bones carefully, ready to bite him in case he was pushing himself too much. Whimpering, he shifted in his seated pose, ready to get going. Pawing at his ear, the fur ruffled a bit, but he still looked handsome. Bones had tried to stick a bowtie on the massive fluff, but it only got eaten by it. An hour later after brushing him over and over did he find it. So, Cooper was accessory-less for tonight. Not like he knew or it bothered him in the least however.

“Very well then.” Bones murmured. He then extended to her his arm so that they could proceed to the manor in haste. Slipping her hand under it he pulled it to his side, and the pair began to walk towards the building. He spoke in a hushed voice to Zinnia, but with a casual tone to it. If anyone looked it would seem like her older brother was just having a nice chat with his little sister.

“When we get inside, recon is first. Locate the target, but stay cool about it. Chat up a few guests, spot all the exits. See if any Pokemon will hinder our own partners incase of a fight, and keep mental track of all this. After all that, we’ll find a way to make a diversion in a hall full of snooty rich people and pokemon.” Glancing down at her, his crystal eyes sparkled with anticipation. “Got that?” He asked as they strolled up the entrance steps and past the guards. If only they knew.

"Got it," Zinnia whispered back secretively. She showed the person at the gate her forged invitation and gave the butler inside her light coat. Once they were in the clear, Zinnia calmly left Bones's side to progress with the mission. Zinnia walked into the main hall and watched carefully. Rich people stood left and right, their overly ornamented pokemon at their sides. Everyone looked so... stiff. Zinnia doubted that any of the pokemon could even walk right, let alone put up a fight.

Zinnia caught sight of herself in a mirror and turned to examine herself. Her long, dark blue hair had been let down from their pig tails and flowed over her back in neat curls. Her blue dress reached almost all the way to the floor, covering her pretty blue shoes. The dress had a high collar with a red broach. Much to her distaste, there were frills in many places, the most annoying ones being at the end of the long sleeves. Under the dress Zinnia wore her usual black shorts that she wore with her Team Rocket uniform; there was no way she wouldn't wear pants or shorts. It wasn't like anyone could see them. She blinked her soft brown eyes, glanced at Zyk on her shoulder, and made a face in the mirror.

Zinnia didn't have long to mess around, however. A small group of elderly ladies had come over to Zinnia. "My what a pretty little girl!" said one in an extremely strict voice. A persian stood glowering haughtily at her heels. "And such a uniquely colored zubat!" commented another, petting their igglybuff. Almost all at once, hands reached out to pet Zyk and feel Zinnia's dress. "Please, he doesn't like to be touched!" said Zinnia, backing away.

Zyk flashed his fangs at the sudden surge of hands. Giving a shrill squeak, Zyk opened his wings and appeared quite menacing for a pokemon his size. The group moved off rather quickly, muttering about bad manners.

Zinnia plugged her ears, wincing. Zyk's shriek had been magnified through the gadgets near their ears. "C'mon, Zyk," she said soothingly, petting his dark fur back down. "We don't want to stand out..." Zinnia and Zyk moved away carefully, mingling with the crowd and noticing the police, rangers, and random trainers that were there. Hopefully it wouldn't be too complicated, despite the danger.

((Note that the dress in the picture is not exactly like Zinnia's; it's just a vague idea of it.))

Adriel swirled his wine, making it more potent, but he wasn't a light weight by no means. It would take a good absinthe to get him smashed and incapable of bubbling out distasteful stuff. Yesss...He smirked. Then he wouldn't be allowed anywhere near the damn ballroom. He mentally huff, he was reduce to wanting to be drunk out of his goddamn mind. His purple eyes looked through the crowd, his other hand rested on his katana's sheath. There were many reasons why he choose to bring such a bold weapon to the party, one of them was, of course, to make people think twice about even approaching him. His thumb flicker under the hilt and pushed the blade out an inch, showing the glimmering sharp metal and part of the encryption in Japanese. He pulled the blade back as his eyes went up for a silent second, spotting a swablu perched very high up. He chuckled softly to himself and looked towards a man approaching him, a pure black Spearow sitting on his shoulder with a fierce look upon its face. "Ah, salutations." He smiled politely, but a glint in his eyes as he recognize who it was.

"Greetings." The man said with a cold tone and a minimal smile. Coming to stand by the white haired man, he looked at the guests. They both scanned the scene, while exchanging polite conversation, but after a few words, they fell silence. Adriel could feel the tension coming off the man, but also feel the warning glances coming from Daniel, Santiago and Ugami. He didn't even dare glance down to Faraon, he could guess the feline was two seconds away from biting his leg if he dare say anything too provocative.

"Quiet the party your benefactor has thrown..." The man spoke, looking finally at him, thought Adriel didn't glance, he did not need to to know the hatred that came from the brown eyes.

"Indeed, he always goes a bit over the top..." The healer spoke, not facing him as he gave a smile towards a young woman who was giving him flirting looks, even thought her shiny houndoom was giving jealous looks.

"I am sure it gives you a good stock to look at for your next victim..." Came an icy respond.

"Hmm....going to spread rumors of me here in Zatao, officer? I been proven innocent of your brother's death. You can't blame me for nature taking a life." Adriel said gently, still not turning to look at him as his eyes spotted someone in particular. He seemed familiar and it took him several seconds to recognize him, but he smirked mentally when he did. Hmmm....very interesting...what is he doing here? "Now, officer, if you would dearly excuse me, I spotted an old colleague of mine and I must catch up with him."

Flashing a smile, purposely letting his fangs shown, he walked away at a sedated pace towards Bones. He would had tried to surprise the man, but he stuck out by far too much in the brightly lit ballroom. "What an interesting Arcanine you have..." He smiled, pretending he did not know him. "The black around his eyes certainly makes his yellow eyes more expressive." His violet eyes fell on Bones. "May I ask the name of this beautiful creature and yourself?"

Faraon, more then happy, followed him and sat down by him once he stopped moving. His head tilted at the somewhat familiar scent that invaded his nostrils. Arching a brow, he turned his head to the pokemon, as if awaiting an explanation.

Daniel gave a sigh of relief as he watched his brother walked away from the other. Shaking his head, he looked around, his ears rang slightly with a shriek and his first thought was, 'who the hell brought a zubat?', and the second was 'what the **** happen?'. As sweet as he was, Daniel had been raised by Adriel and heard more then his fair share of cursed words in three different languages. Santiago and Ugami were less then saints....even more with Adriel being anywhere near them. He smiled at that and shook his head before he went to investigate.

Passing by a group of disgruntle ladies, he stopped and complimented one on their persian, petting gently on the muzzle, brushing against the whiskers. He was glad he knew Faraon and also he had no pokemon on him as he passed some people with rare ones being harass by some of the guests. He swallowed thickly before he approached the girl with the zubat. "Good evening." He smiled. "I hope that you haven't been too bother by the other guests, is your pokemon alright?"

Santiago petted the shiny eevee lightly on the head.

"I think he is comatose....." The samurai said with the most serious tone he could master.

The black haired man glared. "That isn't funny."

Ugami smirked. "No, it would be hilarious, it means that this party is as boring as I think it is."

"You should had brought your lucarios is you think this is so boring."

"And have them harass by this people? Ha!" The red-head protested, folding his arms. "You know very well that Saki is a shiny, they would be all over him in ten seconds flat."

"Yes, but it would certainly bring entertainment."

"No, what would bring entertainment would be if Adriel brought around you know who."

"No that would be disaster in the making. There is enough with white and purple with Adriel around."

They bought laugh at their own inside joke, but quieten as Santiago began talking to another person with a shiny ponyta nibbling hungrily at their coat.

Piney's thoughts were interrupted when a Swablu flew to the chandelier she was looking at. She smiled as she watched him eat a chocolate-covered strawberry, reminded a bit of her own Swablu. Actually, she evolved into an Altaria now, but she was as cute as the one she was looking at now before then. And just recently she had kids with her sister's Pidgeotto and... oy... looking up while thinking too hard was a bit painful. She rubbed her head a bit and glanced over at Daybreak to see if she was still there. Yup she was. The officer was relieved that she didn't wander away, or get kidnap from some fawning partygoers. She could use all the company she got here.

A scream from someplace snapped Piney out of her thoughts again. She turned to the source, and found nothing but a Zubat that didn't like to be disturbed and his trainer. A black Zubat. Well, there was the reason why the unhappy looking person was invited, even though she'd think that Zubats weren't 'dignified' enough to be accepted.

Not wanting to be mingling with the higher crowd any longer, she made her way to the food table, where several others had gathered too. It looked like she wasn't the only one that didn't seem to fit here.

Piney stopped for a moment to admire a black and orange Teddiursa that was eating all the berries on a plate. Sure, it probably wasn't the proper etiquette for this place, but he was so cute they probably wouldn't mind that much.

"Awww." She murmured under her breath, in case anyone was listening. A policewoman was suppose to look tough, and not melt at the sight of any cute Pokemon. She was still admiring him when her eye caught a Ranger she recognized.

Mike, wasn't it? He somehow made her help in catching a Pikachu thief. And that was the highlight of her day. She wondered if she should go over and make herself known, even if they were only acquaintances at best.

Daybreak was with Piney at the buffet table, not really interested in the Teddiursa but at the food. She didn't have the luxury of eating this kind of meal everyday, so all of it laid out in front of her (really, above her) was a bit overwhelming. She would've pigged out like the black cub beside her, but she had the dignity to restrain herself and grab only a few bites of the Chesto berry pie.

It was still really good!
