Food :
{Sunlight} - Sunlight is the source of all energy for living things. Plants absorb light energy and convert it into chemical energy through the means of photosynthesis. While Luka is no plant, his body is similar to a solar panel. Whenever he's outside during light hours, his body passively absorbs the light and stores it for later when there may not be an opportunity to feed. Luka is able to absorb natural light much faster than artificial light and he can literally taste the sunbeams in his mouth.
{Artificial Light} - Artificial light is still light. While not as nourishing as sunlight, Luka relies on it all the same. However, in order for Luka to consume artificial light, he must eye contact with the source of the light, and it takes him much longer to break down and convert it into energy. Luka does not enjoy feeding on this light source due to the dry and plastic taste it has. Nevertheless, he relies on it anyways for days when the sun is hiding behind clouds. Recently though, Luka has been finding that artificial light sources have only served to increase his hunger rather than keeping it at bay.
Powers :
{A} Light Augmentation - With a fel essence stemming from light, it's only natural that Luka can enhance any currently existing light at its source. With a little push, Luka can can even the weakest flash light into an industrial flashlight in terms of brightness and power. This power does have its downsides in that the heat caused from the excess light can cause for lightbulbs to explode quite violently. The power requires little effort on Luka's part.
{A} Photokinesis I - Luka can control light. Given how young he is, at current he can only pull light from a preexisting source to manipulate. Luka cannot control light for a very long time and after a while the light will return its source on its own. He can only pull light from three different sources maximum before exhausting himself. As the number of sources he's drawing from increases, the duration of his light manipulation decreases.
{A} Bacchant Lights - Luka releases a ball of light that causes a surge of adrenaline to those who look upon it. Some may feel an extreme desire to run, other to fight. To humans, it can induce sickness as the magic is particularly strong, while to most Raevans it will just be an uncontrollable adrenaline rush. Luka cannot control this ability as of yet, although it will go off on its own when he's emotional.
{P} Sylvan - Born from the soul of a forest spirit, Luka can speak to woodland animals. He may communicate with deer, rabbits, sparrows, and other animals. However, it is difficult for him to speak and understand animals that have been domesticated due to the animal being displaced from the natural essence of the earth. Luka cannot order animals to do his bidding, rather he may ask them for favors and hope for the best. Sylvan is a very faint, soft language and sound similar to leaves dancing in the wind. When Luka is speaking Sylvan it is in italics.

Jumbo the Christmas Bird and Rollo the Christmas Bear
The little ornament they receive from Lab 305 every holiday has never failed to surprise them. Jumbo and Rollo are both 4 inches tall and require only air and water for sustenance.
Wintson: A tenthirteen seventeen year-old Russian Blue cat, he was adopted by Jezabroux after being found outside in the rain. Winston is known to be highly intelligent and playful but tends to be timid around strangers. He's not quite as active as he used to be and spends the majority of his time on the couch or Jezabroux's bed sleeping.
Liselotte (72 - Deceased): Jezabroux's mother, she currently lives in Gambino with her husband Nigel. She is gentle and understanding, with a disposition similar to her son. Liselotte is of German descent and showing signs of dementia. She's prone to throwing German words and phrases during conversations.
Nigel (79 - Deceased): Husband to Liselotte, unlike his wife, he is showing no signs of mental degradation. And if anything, continues to be quite healthy for a man of his age. He lives with his wife in Gambino and is current retired. He spends the majority of his time with wife attending to their small garden.
Helene (50): Despite being the eldest of the Ferenan siblings, Helene was also quite a problem child. She dabbled in a plethora of dangerous activities including the abuse of street and medical drugs. She was once married to a rich lawyer, but quickly left him after clearing out his bank account. She not only left behind a shameful memory for her family, but also a young child. She has made no contact with the Ferenans since having run off.
Abelard (19 - Deceased) : The youngest of the Ferenans, Abelard died in a vehicular accident when his car skid on iced roads and flipped over. Abelard's death brought Jezabroux closer to his parents, and all that remains of the youngest Ferenan is large oak planted by Nigel for Liselotte in their son's memory. |

Usually much longer on slow days. [color=chocolate]Round 2[/color] LAB ENTRY Chrystali's questions 1. Music is one of the defining qualities of people, in some form or another. Being that of a Satyr - mostly known as flute-playing fables - do you like music? If so, what do you like to listen to? Any particular reason? Music? Yes, he listened to it - how could he not? He was a Satyr. Music was ingrained in him. It was in his blood, it was in the air, it was...him. Boyish face lighting up into a warm smile, the Frei sat up a little straighter. “I like music. I am constantly listening to it.” He broke off to look out the window. The sky was a pristine azure, blending seamlessly with the sea. Gambino had such a lighter song compared to Durem or Akea. “Can you hear it?” He asked no one in particular. “The waves crashing down the shore, the sand shifting with the wind, and the wind calling out to the sky...can you hear the symphony of life?” He turned to look at the lab staff, amber orbs twinkling with mirth. “The trees waving their branches to the sun, or the laughter that echoes from the beaches. The different voices of nature that come together to exalt our existence.” He took in a deep breath, his wings quivering from an intoxication of spirit. “Just how alluring, intoxicating, addicting this eternal ballad is. It keeps me from listening to anything else. Nothing but the sound of Gaia will do. It quenches the thirst of my soul, taking me to a place of no return.” He pressed his hands to his heart and let out an euphoric sigh. Ravina Loki's questions 1. It's common knowledge that most people have a hobby of some sort. Whether it be collecting something, playing a sport, making models, or taking up a certain type of craft, a hobby is a fun way for a person (or Raevan!) to relax on a weekend or after a long day. So do you have a hobby? Tell us what your hobby (or hobbies) is and why exactly you like that sort of thing! “Four words. Dancing with the Stars.” One could almost see the passion light behind the Satyr’s eyes as he said those words. “It’s amazing the stuff those people on TV do using their legs. They hop around, run across, skip, do rapid turns, and even slide around. I want to be able to do all that, except...I can’t. I’ve tried taking dance lessons, but it’s not worth it when you don’t have legs. All the energy is lost and it just changes into a meaningless repetitive movement of swinging your partner back and forth. There’s no fire; no passion in that. So, for now, I have to satisfy myself by just watching.” Nevertheless, he smiled at the judges. “On the bright side, once I become a Sigel, I’ll have hips. Then, I can hula dance!” He laughed, knowing that hula would be the last thing he’d take. “When I’m not watching TV I also like to do leatherwork! Well… actually… I just started learning so it’s more like familiarizing myself with the basics of it. I like its distinctive smell, and the smooth, soft texture behind it.” He rubbed at the leather bracelet around his wrist. It was simple, strips of leather braided into one and tied around his wrist. But, he was still proud - it was something he made. His. “And leatherwork makes me feel manly.” He flexed his arms for the judges and laughed. Kyoupiruchi's questions 1. You are having a crush with this girl, and found out that her birthday is next week. What would you do for her? Do you get her a gift? Plan a surprise? Or do you do nothing at all? Luka licked his lips, suddenly dry from the question. He could feel his ribbon coiling tighter and tighter until it couldn’t twist any further. “Well… birthdays are special so I would try to make this one memorable.” He croaked, his wings flapping in apprehension. “I was kind of hoping to do a scavenger hunt for her, since they’re fun and engaging. Each piece of paper would pertain to something we did together in the past, so like… since I first saw her ice skating, the clue might say: ‘I am cold as can be, yet people love me. I can be small and in cubes or large and part of igloos.’ So then, she’d have to go to the freezer and look in the ice cube tray to find the next clue. The next one might be: ‘We made this song our theme song at the karaoke party last weekend. That song is on what CD?’ Since the song is Lucky by Jason Mraz, she’d have to look in the We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things album to find the next clue. And, at the end of the hunt, there would be a map with directions to the countryside.” His rune shimmered lightly, feeling the heat growing in his cheeks with every passing second. It was embarrassing telling this and the three pairs of eyes staring at him made it all the worse “There, in the countryside, I would wait for her with a small path formed by small light orbs to guide her to me.” He smiled a little to himself, imagining it out in his head. “I’d give her, her own light show with my ability of light manipulation. I can’t describe it. All I know is that… it’ll be awesome and hopefully… she’ll love it.” Or at least, he really hoped that she’d love it. He let out a sigh and withered at a little on the inside.
