Who: Jezabroux, Axel, Luka, Isobel
Where: Axel's apartment, Barton
When: Close to evening or dinner time
Weather: Warm

The new guardian had been eerily silent on the way back home with her new Raevan, aptly named Isobel after a heroine from a book, though she`d been ever so watchful of her new daughter. Truthfully, Axel had been blown away when she`d laid eyes on her, and seeing her now, hands and face glued to her side window as she watched the colors of the world, she just wanted to yell at how happy she was. Though she contained herself, they were almost home with Jez and Luka waiting for them. Axel smiled as she parked, looking up to the building. This was going to be one heck of a reunion.¨We’re home.¨

Isobel slowly peeled herself from the window, turning to her guardian with a large smile on her face. She wasn`t exactly sure of what all the words meant, so far the only thing she did know was that her name was Isobel and the woman who had named her was Axel, and they had driven in a car to a place called home. As Axel got out, Isobel mimicked what the other was doing to open her door, and slowly floated over to her guardian. So many things called to her attention, so many things to see, and feel and smell and all those colors… It was all very over whelming and she didn`t knows she had been starring around until Axel gently grabbed her hand to tug her into the building.

¨Come on up the elevator.¨ The inside of the building wasn’t as colorful as the entrance, and Isobels attention immediately returned to her guardian. The few people around the lobby starred at her, and she starred back. They were quite uncolorful, and didn’t seem like the most interesting of people so the Raevan ignored them. ¨You’re going to meet Jezabroux and Luka upstairs. Two of my friends, Luka is a Raevan, just like you and Jexabroux is his owner.¨ This Isobel was excited for, meeting another of her kind with the exception of the other with the long colored hair. Oh yes, this ride in this steel box was taking far too long and when the doors finally opened again, Isobel floated out eagerly, glancing from side to side expectantly.

Still nothing, she turned to Axel who chuckled and got out to walk down the hallway and stopped in front of a door. Isobel followed behind, waiting as Axel knocked once and then entered the place. ¨We`re here.¨ Axel put down her bag and walked inside. Isobel looked around, it was… Pretty, it’s not like she had anything to go off of except the lab and that hadn’t been very colorful or personal like this place. The Raevan wished she could have said something, anything really, but her vocabulary was so short, so limited she could only offered Axel a smile when the guardian turned to her once more. Now the question was where were the people she really wanted to lay eyes on!

"Do you think there here yet? You should call Axel, Elai. Or maybe, they get lost?" Floating back and forth across the living room, the Frei floated towards his Guardian's side. "You should give Axel a call and see if she's almost home." He tugged on his guardian's sleeve, reaching for the peeping corner of the acupuncturist's phone. A gesture that gained him a swift swat on the top of his hand.

"Hands, Luka, hands. You know you're not supposed to be doing that. And no, I'm not going to call Axel. She'll get here when she's ready. Besides, this is a good time for you to learn how to patient." Giving his charge a smile, Jezabroux ruffled his charge's downy hair. "She'll be here any minute."

The moment those words left his guardian's mouth, Luka could hear the soft metal clicks of the door lock turning. His golden orbs flashed towards the door and stared intently at the door knob. And when the knob started to turn, the Frei hastily grabbed for one of the party poppers sitting on the table. "She's here!" He hissed, shoving one into his guardian's hand as well.

"We're here."

"WELCOME HOME!" Luka shouted, pulling roughly on the string and sending strings of paper and confetti into the air with a loud pop. His eyes darted rapidly, spotting Axel. Where was the Raevan though? Turning the corner, he finally spotted her. The person for this special occasion.

As Luka took in her appearance, a big excited smile came on his lips. He couldn't help but love the perfectly balanced mixture of creme latte and coffee brown color of her clothes. And how it complimented her skin tone so well. But of course, even more astonishing were the magical design of her clothes. They were so... lacy and frilly. It was like what a princess in one of those fantasy story books wore. His eyes were immediately drawn to the aura of her rune, a colorful blend of color as if a rainbow had gotten trapped. And shining brightly in the aura was a rune that looked like a star. Opening and closing his mouth as he tried to find the right words, Luka floated towards Isobel.

Her eyes were like his, rich with the color of the sun. She was a princess. "Hello princess," Luka greeted, reaching up to tuck a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "My name is Luka." He explained, giving her a gentle bow.

Behind him, Jezabroux couldn't help but smile. "Welcome home, Axel." Likewise, the acupuncturist also found the Raevan to be magical. He looked at the popper Luka hand hastily stuffed in his hand earlier and placed it back on the table. He had a feeling that the new Raevan had had more than enough of the poppers already. Making his way towards Isobel and Axel, he couldn't help but lean over and whisper into Axel's ear. "I told you not to worry. You got a girl after all." Chuckling, the man waited to watch Isobel's reaction towards Luka. He could always introduce himself after the two had finished their thing.

More impotantly, Luka was right. She did look like a princess, maybe a noble woman straight out of the Renaissance era. "She's beautiful."

Never did the grin leave Axels face, even when she spotted Luka and the popping and more colorful things flying in the air. She had been prepared for a hug when Luka spotted her, but when she saw him passing her she knew that the person he really wanted to see was Isobel, so no hard feelings as she went to Jezabroux side and watched the Raevans. She leaned onto him from the side as he whispered and she looked up nodding. "You have no idea how happy I am, and she’s so beautiful." Axel sighed softly, crossing her arms and watching the two Raevans meeting with amusement. This would be Isobels first official meeting since she hadn`t spoken much with Anya and Luka would probably spend most of the day at her side.

Isobel was a little surprised by the popping noise, floating a bit back as Axel continued to walk in. Though her eyes did enjoy the colorful pieces of floating things that now lay on the ground, maybe she`d collect them later on. Axel had told her the name of the people they were going to meet, so when Isobel turned to see the other Raevan she knew who he was. She drank in his appearance, seemingly stunned a little at the different in him and Anya. He was so light, so very white looking. To Isobel he was like a white canvas awaiting color, she wanted to color him then, eyes turning to the ground to the colorful things for a brief instance. Luka was approaching her now; she glanced at Axel nervously, unsure how to greet the other properly. Mimicking had been good to her so far, so she would watch and learn.

His greeting however, confused her more than anything. Her name was not this `Princess. ’, had Axel not told them her name? She leaned forward a bit to the side to see that Axel was standing by some other person, very close to him. Isobel narrowed her eyes, so this was Luka’s guardian? Why was he standing so close to her? It didn`t seem very appropriate, but right now she needed to tell Luka her name. "No. No Princess. Isobel. Iiisoobell" She sounded out her name for him, just as Axel had done with hers when they’d first met. That should probably help him out. "Loukah" Now Isobel tested his own name on her lips, she frowned a little. "Louka. Luka? Luka." She said, now satisfied with her pronunciation.

Forgetting to bow, she watched his movements, and returned them right down to tucking one of his long side bangs. Isobel decided then that she liked him, him and his odd manners. Yes, he would make a good friend, and she began to immediately float over to the colorful things on the ground. She floated down and started picking them up, grabbing the ones that were yellow and orange first as she thought those would match him best. From time to time she would glance at him, judging to see what others she could pick up. Her hand was already starting to have a rather large amount in them and she turned to him "Luka." Isobel extended her arm and made a grabbing motion towards him, beckoning him over so he could help her a bit.

Axel’s brows furrowed slightly when she saw Isobel getting down on the ground to pick up the tiny pieces of paper. This time, she leaned in to whisper softly to Jez. "What in the world is she doing?." Even more bizarre was the fact that it looked like she wanted Luka to help her? "Isobel, what are you doing?" Her tone was amused, she had not exactly expected her Raevan to be cleaning? Issy looked up, shook her hand that held some of papers and then turned to look and point at Luka. Axel was still slightly confused, even when she turned back to stare at Axel probably wishing she understood her. "I think I may want to teach her words before anything else." This communication was going to become a large problem, Axel shrugged and let Isobel do her thing, whatever her thing was.

"Really?" The acupuncturist arched a brow at Axel's comment regarding the Raevan's slight disinterest towards Anya. "Well, here's to hoping that she finds Luka quite interesting." He chuckled as he casually reached around Axel and placed his hand on her hip.

"Isobel," Luka repeated, rolling the syllables slowly across his tongue like a piece of candy. They flowed well, a soft name. Not like some of the other names he had learned to pronounce. "And yes, I'm Luka." He repeated, placing a hand over his chest. When she denied the princess part, Luka snickered. "No, Princess isn't a name. Well, for some it is, but your name is Isobel. Princess is someone.... who looks like Isobel." He finished. "A princess is very pretty looking, and dresses in clothes like Isobel." He had a feeling the new Frei wouldn't understand what he was trying to say. That was okay. They had all the time in the world to increase her vocabulary.

When Isobel mimicked his gesture and tucked on his side-bang, Luka smiled. He probably would've done the same thing if he'd been younger. Half of what he'd learned he'd done by mimicking others. Mimicking the words his guardians said, his gestures and mannerisms. When Isobel floated away from him and towards the pieces of confetti on the ground, Luka cocked his head the side ever so gently. What was the Frei up to? He couldn't help but watch as the new Raevan reached down to pick up the yellow and orange pieces of paper on the ground. What? Was she cleaning up? But the party had just started! "Isobel?" He asked, a slight confused tone in his voice. "Are you cleaning up already?"

When the Raevan turned around at Axel's questions own questions, he couldn't help but stare a bit dumbly as she pointed at him. "What?" His sun drop eyes stared at the color of the confetti pieces in her hand before realizing what was going on. Floating over to the chameleon, he pointed to the pieces in her hand. "Colors right? Yellow and orange." He said, pointing to the appropriate colored pieces as he said them. Reaching for a nearby napkin, he pointed at it as well. "Yellow." He said, pointing at the napkin then back to the confetti pieces on her hand. "And orange," He said slowly, pointing to her brightly colored sash.

Jezabroux watched Luka and Isobel before letting out an amuse chuckle. "I'm not quite sure. Why don't you ask her yourself." He couldn't help but continue to watch the two youths. "Do you really think Luka understands her or do you think he's just... guessing?" Communication was important, but with Raevans, words came quickly. "I wouldn't worry about it. Her vocabulary will improve drastically over the next few days."

“Well, she hasn’t all out ignored him; I suppose that’s a step up. At least she hasn’t poked him in the eye yet like she did with me, I was so sure that was the only reason she let go of Zeke’s hair so I could take her home.” Axel’s eye was actually still hurting from the ordeal; her meeting with Isobel hadn’t exactly gone the way she’d wanted. Her train of thoughts was interrupted when she felt Jezabroux hand on her hip; she even managed to redden just a bit, but didn’t move. Holy smokes, it felt like she hadn’t dated in forever! Jez wasn’t like all the other creeps she’d dated, he was actually refined and very gentlemanly, and he had Luka. He had a job, and didn’t seem like the type that was about to go out and club all night and get drunk. It was nice dating, no they weren’t really going on dates were they? Needless to say, it was nice to hang out with someone who didn’t want to talk about weddings.

Ohhh, he had said her name so nicely! Isobel beamed at him, Axel had had a look of uncertainty when she’d first uttered the word. Luka’s explanation of this princess person was very confusing, some girl looked like her? But not totally, yet he used the word like it was a thing. Isobel titled her head slightly as her features squeezed into confusion. Was she a princess? Her name was Isobel, and a princess wore pretty clothing and sort of looked like her. The Frei sighed exasperated; it made sense, but not totally to her. She wanted to be able to talk and understand Luka so bad, Axel had to hurry up and teach her things right now! Well, maybe not right this moment, she was with Luka and Luka was teaching her things.

Isobel had no idea what Luka was talking about, was picking up the pieces on the floor called cleaning? She only wanted them so she could stick them on him really, and right now she needed his help. She blinked at what he was pointing at, eyes narrowing slightly as she took it in. “Cuhlores? Yelloh and orange.” Each time he pointed to something Isobel watched and repeated after him, so he was telling her that the colors on the things were yellow and orange! The Frei laughed clapping her hands once and dropping all the ones she’d picked up as she grabbed the napkin and began fiddling with it. “Yellow!” She was floating back up now, all thoughts of the pieces gone as she undid the napkin and placed it atop Luka’s head.

“Axel! AXEL!” Isobel waved her hands to get the attention of her guardian, was that man’s arm on her guardians hip?! Where were his manners! Quickly, Isobel floated across the space and grabbed onto Axle’s arm before pulling her away from the man, all this while narrowing her eyes to the tall man before turning her back to him. Axel Sent Jez an apologetic look, she’d anted to answer him but Isobel had grabbed onto her far too quickly to drag her across the room. Isobel pointed eagerly at Luka, waiting for approval that she’d finally added color to him. “Yellow!” She pointed to her sash now. “Orange! Colors!” Axel chuckled, patting her Frei on the head once. “Why don’t you come meet Jezabroux Isobel?”

“Jehzzzzzabrou?” So that was that man’s name! Curse him, she was going to have to ask Luka how he managed to have a guardian that acted so freely with his hands. Isobel turned to face him, looking at him with her most serious face and ever so slowly looked him up and down as one of her brows slowly arched up. Was he worthy? Had he proven himself yet to be Axel’s husband? The Frei pursed her lips at him, he was going to have to prove it to her too now.

When Axel said that Isobel had poked her in the eye, the acupuncturist couldn't hide his laughter. Already, it seemed like Axel had a handful with the girl. "Is your eye still hurting?" He asked.

Luka watched with mild amusement as Isobel repeated the name of the colors back excitedly. "Yes, yellow." When Isobel neatly laid out the yellow piece of napkin on his head, Luka gave her a smile before setting it back down on the table. Napkins didn't belong on heads. "Isobel, this is napkin." He said, pointing to the paper square she had placed on his head like a hat only moments before. "A napkin, is for cleaning up messes." He explained, reaching with the napkin to wipe away some water on the table. "A napkin is good for cleaning up messes."

When Isobel suddenly jerked away and began shouting her Guardian's name, Luka watched befuddled. What was she doing now? Had he been that short on attention as well when he'd first been born? When he saw the Frei pull Axel out of Jezabroux's arm and give his guardian a dirty look, the Frei burst into laughter. Trying to calm himself down, he wiped away at the few tears that had formed from laughing so hard. His cheeks. They hurt.

Much to his chagrin, Jezabroux hadn't expected for Isobel to act like that. When he heard Axel's gentle suggestion about meeting him, he took a moment to recompose himself. "My name is Jezabroux, Isobel. If it's easier to pronounce you can call me Elai. And, I apologize for putting my hands on your guardian, Isobel." Giving a slight bow, he held out his hand for the Frei. Perhaps, it was time to ramp up his manners again. It seemed as though Isobel had a rather more conservative view on interactions between men and women. Not to say that was bad, but it was amusing to say the least. Suddenly, it seemed as though Axel had gotten herself a chaperone and not a charge.

Hearing his charge still laughing in the background, he couldn't help but clear his throat. "That's quite enough, Luka." He heard a few more snickers before it finally died down. Although he wanted to engage her in a conversation, he had the feeling her limited vocabulary wouldn't allow for much. "Did you enjoy the ride home?" He asked, taking a quick glance at Axel from where he stood. He had a feeling she was just as embarrassed and amused about this as he was. After all, the last time the acupuncturist had been chastised over public display of affection had been in high school.

Shaking her head, Axel chuckled. “Not anymore no.”

There was no denying it, Isobel liked sucking up information like a sponge, this was the exciting stuff and the more she would learn the better she could communicate what it was she wanted. “A mess.” Eyes narrowing slightly, Isobel watched the napkin, as Luka had called it, soak up the liquid on the table. So this napkin wasn’t to add color to anything, it just picked up liquids. Hm, Isobel glanced from the napkin to Lukas head; she still thought the yellow was better on him then on the table.

“Elai.” Isobel concluded softly, grabbing into his hand gently. Okay so the man did have manners! This was a good start, the Frei offered him a small smile to show her appreciation. Axel in return sighed and rolled her eyes at her raevan, catching Jez’s gaze and once more rolling her eyes. Her mother had never been this bad even with Idylla! This was going to get tricky if she wanted to keep seeing Jez, unless of course Luka kept her busy enough that she could have alone time by herself. The notion made Axel smile, hopefully she could propose the solution at a later time when Isobel`s attention wasn’t on them.

“Mhm.” She’d seen lots of things on the ride here, and now she was curious to see what Axel called home. “Home, visit.” Isobel turned her attention to Axel expectantly; her guardian had promised her a tour of the place. The wedding planner chuckled, “You want to visit the place huh?” Hooking her arm into Jez, Axel pivoted around. “How about we start with the living room?” Curiously, Isobel grabbed onto Luka the same way Axel had to Jez and pulled him forward to follow Axel. “Home visit.” She whispered quietly to the other Frei as they entered the living room.

The living room was a very light sandy color, almost looking white and pale to Isobel. The couches were a deep plum color with a white bookcase on one wall, and a fireplace on the other. There was a glass table, a lamp and really nothing that caught Isobels eye, not colorful enough for the Frei buteverything felt cozy. The kitchen was next; Isobel liked this place even less. The wood was all dark with black molding and a white back splash. All the appliances stainless steel, not a single thing on the counters, so clean, so lifeless, Isobel made a face.

Axel`s room was turquoise, Isobel knew why she would like this room, it matched her eyes. Finally when Axel opened Isobel’s room, the Frei moved away from Luka to the middle and turned all around. “I wasn’t sure what you would like so I left it white.” Floating over to one wall, Isobel touched it and then floated to the window. Axel had no taste what so ever, she would have expected something more than a simple table and chair, a book case and a bed, all white, everything white. Whirling around, Isobel gave a slight frown. “No colors.” Heck, if Luka came in here he could probably blend in! “We can go and grab paint for you tomorrow, and new furniture.”

The frei nodded, satisfied for now tomorrow they would go and get new things.

When Isobel returned his smile, Elai couldn't help but chuckle. She certainly did look and act like a lady of days bygone. "It seems like you're definitely going to have a nice little chaperon with Isobel." He gave Axel a teasing smile before turning his attention back to the two Raevans. Funny, the two raevans were so similar and yet different to each other in coloring. Both were bright, warm in their colors. And yet, Isobel was vivid, ornate. Luka was simple. A simple balance between the two.

When he felt Axel's arm hook in his own, he merely smiled and allowed for the wedding planner to show him around the house as well.

Luka did likewise as he felt Isobel grab his own arm. "Your house is well decorated Axel. Not like Elai with his black and white furniture. I think he has something against colors." The Frei snickered. When they finally reached Isobel's room, Luka couldn't help but burst out laughing at Isobel's comment. "Maybe, but it's easier to start from an empty wall than a brightly colored one."

“It does seem like it.” Axel squeezed him gently and followed behind. The guardian watched her raevan carefully, following her facial expressions with a careful eye. The girl didn’t hide much, her distain for the house, minus Axel’s room, was evident. Maybe she would repaint, just maybe. It depended if they stayed in this apartment or not. Axel had thought of moving, the tiny office space she’d given Isobel wasn’t enough, she knew this now looking at the raevan in her room. Maybe if he worked some extra hours, or took on some extra weddings she’d be able to afford something larger.

“Thank you Luka.” She grinned like a child.

Isobel turned around and made a face. “Colors!” Now she was excited to go out and get this room some paint and furniture like Axel had told her. “Why don’t you guys go and talk, Elai and I will go and talk in the kitchen?” Isobel floated closer to Luka again, she didn’t mind going back and exploring about the living room.
