Personality:
Thanos is an arrogant stallion who thinks of himself well before others. He is rough and heartless but does indeed have a soft side, though it is well hidden. Thanos’ mind is not all there, in a number of ways. He at times seems to struggle against his thoughts as if they taunt him with their broken information. Often he may be seen talking to himself, though he is actually talking to his two companions, the rats Peace and War, whom only he can hear.
History:
Not much is known about who Thanos was before he found himself in Hell. His past is as hidden from others as it is from himself. What he does remember from his past was that he went by another name then, however he refuses to tell anyone what that name was. His past it just that, the past and is of no concern to himself or any others he comes across.
Most who encountered the rotting stallion gave him a wide berth even though the creatures in hell were often in worse shape than he was. After some time spent wandering the wastelands of Hell Thanos came across two rats. They looked at the poor decaying body of the stallion and took pity on him. Soon where ever he went the rats would follow him, he didn’t mind the company all that much for they generally kept to themselves.
Soon their relationship changed. Thanos had been struggling with his thoughts and memories. His mind was rotting away leaving his thoughts in pieces and his memories began to altogether fade. Unsure of what would become of him if he lost all his thoughts he began to share with the rats everything he knew. It was soon after that that the rats began to talk to him as well. They not only shared their stories with him but soon began to become a sort of extension of his conscious. The female rat, whose name was War, was the darker of the two. She always told Thanos to dwell on his painful thoughts and let them fester within him, building his hatred more and more. Whereas the male, named Peace, often spoke of the love Thanos had once felt in his heart.
Between the rats constant nattering, their bickering amongst themselves and the slow decaying of his flesh Thanos felt himself slip further and further into dementia. And yet even with all this going on he still manages to keep an arrogant air about him, this was one of the few remaining traits he possessed from his time amongst the living. Thanos talked to himself, or was it to the rats, more and more and took to wandering aimlessly around hell.

Out Of Hell - Thanos struggling with his thoughts and his companions constant arguments is approached by Vengeance, a young stallion in his herd of misfits from Hell.
Hellish Flirting - Thinking that one of his herd members has wandered off Thanos follows a black mare, but it turns out she isn't one of his mares. But something seems to click between them.
Brothers in Arms - Thanos and Thorn take a moment to step away from their herd and discuss their plans.
A New Beginning - As the herd arrives back to the land of the living the horses gather to formally meet and discuss their plans. Thanos must keep the herd in order while some of the horses show a disliking to his plans.
A Leader of Bones - While out for a night walk Thanos runs into a horse who kills things to take their skulls and bones to adorn his body.

Don't You Look Interesting... - Thanos meets Regret while laying in a meadow, the two talk about a subject that is close to both of them; death.

What Are You Doing? - After bringing Regret to his herds lands he finds her in the cave that contained the barrier between the living world and Hell as she tries to find a way into Hell, though Thanos won't allow this.
Merr- Are You Okay? - Thanos runs into a small mare who saves foals from death and she frets over his heath and also argues with him about horses not deserving to go to Hell.
What Have I Gotten Into? - Some time after joining the Hell Herd Regret announces to Thanos that she is expecting his foals, and she attempts to get the forgetful stallion to remember this important detail.

In his previous life Rowan was quite the ladies man. Mares fell over themselves hoping that the deep voiced Palomino would take them in even for just one night. Though now he is a changed horse. He is more reserved about his actions, especially around mares, knowing that his beaten hide and ropes are a turnoff. He still has a fire in his soul that rages over the wrongdoing the humans did to him and should he ever run into one he would do his best to exact his revenge. His loyalty to the Hell Herd and it's leader is never questioned. Should he be told to kill another horse, he would do so without any hesitation.

Like the meaning of his name, 'Divine Son,' Maponus finds strength from being a believer of the herds ways. He is both spiritually and physically strong, dedicated to his beliefs and is a protector of those who are close to him. Maponus possesses an almost unending stamina that can rival that of a much younger horse. It is the combination of strength and stamina that allows him to complete tasks that would otherwise seem impossible. While he may sometimes seem to be a horse of few words he is very intelligent and would talk your ear off if you ask him about his herd, their beliefs or anything else he deems important.

At The Solstice of Winter -Maponus meets his future mate and together they see their future together, although it's not all happy.
Sufferance - As a strange disease runs through the herds Maponus and Shylah struggle to fight it off with the help of Divone and the elders.

Nameless is the smallest and weakest of the four foals. He is also the only one to look like a normal horse; as such he is shunned by both his parents and the other herd members. Thanos has refused to name the colt due to his normal appearance and ignores him like a plague. Though he looks normal, he is anything but. Deep down he has an almost insatiable lust for blood, and his mind well that isn’t normal either. He has two personalities that come out; one is of a scared and weak little foal(Nameless), his other side is a vicious little devil who wants to rip your heart out and eat it…quite literally(Carnivore).
