The dim chill of the subway station was almost comforting. Rojand padded through it to the shrine. He knelt to offer up the fragments he'd collected; it felt right, somehow.

He couldn't tell if the goddess had actually come to him, taken the shards, touched his brow; but the shards were gone, and he felt less thin, less as though he would crumble and blow away with any little wind. Less inclined to solitude.

He whispered his thanks and rose to return to the broken city.

Shaw carefully made his way back to the room with the pedestals - perhaps there would be answers here.

"I think it's this way," he muttered to himself, pushing through the doors -

The light fragments he'd gathered glowed, and he felt something wash over him- a sense of wholeness. He paused, momentarily taken aback. It was a kind of answer, he supposed after a time, gazing up at the statues solemnly.

Daaiji hopped into the shrine with the fragments in her grasp. She hummed, looking around curiously before she offered up her fragments in exchange for the blessing. She hummed again, but this time more thoughtfully. The shadow spun around, intending to leave, but she glanced at the other figures around her. Relationships, huh?

Nala was a bit timid to present her offering, would it rise her to greatness? She was unsure, yet she couldn't let her doubt deter her. This was what had been asked of her.

And she refused to fail.

Rydek carefully made his way up to the shrine. Soon enough, he felt the blessing being given to him. It was something.

He stepped into the shrine curiously. Linswo looked around briefly before finally offering up his fragments in return for his blessing. He hummed thoughtfully.

It was done.

Nifen approached the shrine with the fruit of his task held in outstretched hands. He was eager to have his labours pay off, to be given truer form then this faint, vague shape he currently possessed.

The goddesses voice whispered to him, and he closed his eyes at the sound as he felt the crystals weight lift from his hands.

He felt the change before he saw it. A weight, a better sense of shape. A more masculine build, slender yet strong. He opened his eyes to see the gloves on his hands and the long sleeves of a jacket.

He had a shape now, and he was pleased by this fact, but he also wished for more.

He returned to the room of the Goddess, approaching with eager steps. He wanted to know why he had these feelings, and what it was he had been searching for ... He couldn't shake the feeling of it's importance, and the soft blue light of his core warmed as he placed each crystal before the statue.

He wanted to know. If having a more solid form would help him gain that ... then so be it. They are yours, Goddess.
