She saw a glimmer that wasn't too high for her to reach. It sat lodged between two pieces of rock, but it wasn't wedged in. She reached a hand out and tried to grab it. It was slightly out of reach but her fingertips brushed past it, causing it to fall. This time, Zauus had butterfingers and it fell into a crevice which was too deep and thin for her hand to reach in.

"I think so..." Those arms had felt nice at least! She'd find out if want was the correct word in a second...

Omega's face screwed up with concentration as she watched for the lights in the shadows and then pounced, coming out victorious as she plucked a fragment out. This memory was unlike the rest, however, in that it was unpleasant: a flash of heat and pain and an awful noise in her ears--and then gone the next second.

"Huh." She didn't know what to make of that and turned to her partner. "What have you been getting out of these?" Maybe she ought to go to the goddess now...

Stepping towards the Goddess again, she welcomed the embraced as she tries to hide against her once more. She didn't like this, not one bit. Though her words were comforting as she was overcome with the warmth once more.

With a small sigh, she seem content as she pulls away once again. This time she went her own way and kept looking for more of those tiny fragments.

That just furthered to deepen his frown. Why wouldn't she? "Calculating things before acting is..." Was it important? He couldn't remember why, not to cause shame? No, that was for a family that didn't exist. That wasn't for him. He clicked his tongue briefly before looking a bit to one side as the girl seemed to be all to unsure about it all. Then again, did he know how to act around others? Why did he even know how to talk?

A blessing of the goddess perhaps?

His gaze flicked back to her as she spoke again, a bit taken aback by the statement. Ears? He hadn't even... really... "I uh-" Now he was the one babbling without any thought to it. He'd even reached up to toy with one of the flings thoughtlessly before lowering his hand. Right, he was like the- the what? He couldn't remember againa. "Thank you." Was the statement that finally fell with a sigh, recrossing the arm he'd removed only a moment before. "I'm Lanaom." It felt a little odd finally running off his tongue, but he'd adjust to it. He'd just never said it since he woke up. "It's a pleasure and uh-" It was polite to give a compliment with a compliment, right? "You look cute too, now that... you're not a shadow?" Was that the best way to even put it? They were still without color, but it was obvious those who the goddess blessed and those she did not. And this girl was one of those blessed, even with that faint glow- wait why was she blushing?

He coughed lightly at that point, once more looking to one side as if the building was just so very interesting. All destroyed and the like.

Zauus looked at the other grey figure who seemed to be troubled by the inconveniently places fragments. "Hello." She said softly to the other yellow hearted figure. Zauus thought they resembled one another in looks but felt that they were indeed different. "Do you want some help?" She offered.

So he can't remember? Whatever jealousy had started to grow slowly faded away, "I wish I knew why we were here..." He grumbled crossly and looked around for more shards, "Those questions have been on my mind. Who am I? Why am I here? Where do I go from here?"

Ryjer? Knowing his companion's name gave rise to a new emotion: happiness, "Ryjer sounds like a good, strong name,"

Electrical? Suddenly, Tiek realized that they were standing in an area that could use electricity, and that this subway could be fixed. It was a subway. Words naturally floated forward with no effort on his part, "I don't know either... I think it's ruined," which made since as it was called 'Ruins', "Maybe there is no way to fix it, but shelter makes sense..."

For a moment, Tiekash stared at the ground before shaking his head, "Let's split up for a little. You go look one way and I'll look another. We come back here and see if we learned something knew."


SHARD -- 2

He would have been lying to himself if Maiden didn't expect to hear some kind of ferocious snarling but the kindhearted tone was enough to keep him from trying to run out into the painful rain. The tiny little light gen that was held up was equally as intriguing. "What are those, are they tasty?" he asked, inching closer to the group and chasing down one of the light gems as it scuttled by and over a discarded tire.

The sudden duclet tones of the other shadow had him wagging his....... whatever he had behind him.

What was it called? for the life of Maiden he could not remember. "Um thanks, i think? i dunno if its a good thing." he answered honestly and tilted his head at it. "What's a handsome, does it taste good too?"

"The high up ones... They are easier to get if we work together?" Zauus pointed a shadowy finger to the fragments just barely out of her arm's reach. Even if she were to extend her body and tip-toe, they were just out of reach.
