Gone were the statues and marble and monochrome world and instead Maiden found himself in a desolate landscape. a cursory view sweeping from left to right didn't shows any signs of some kind of movement, the hazy atmosphere did nothing to improve on his sight, everything still looked like he was looking through a blurry lens.

"Where the heck am I now?" he muttered aloud as he strolled under the expressway, the concrete structure blocking out the pitter patter of the rain above that was like a sheet of water near the opening. It was a dismal looking downpour that smelled tangy and bitter, not comforting, proving it by sticking a gray limb out and the sting of pain reverberated from inside. Maiden could only wince and dart the limb away from the water as he waited for the cascade to let up a bit before seeking new shelter.


But the shadows were moving out of the corner of his sight that got his attention, shadows that proved he was not alone that could be either friendly or aggressive. Things that made him shiver as he called out into the black and yellow landscape. "Who's there, show yourself!"

Hmm...She tilted her head to the other side in thought. "I think so!" Omega finally chirped. "I don't know, but maybe! You have a nice smile for sure though. "I want to shine first before visiting the goddess, though...So I can look presentable!"

A voice barking made her turn with an owlish blink. Oh, poor thig was probably confused! Smiling, Omega reached out and took another of the glowing fragments to show to him. "Just some of us!" she called. "And some of these too! I think we need these."

This time it graced her with the feeling of someone holding her close, someone warm and understanding...but no names came.

Rime Yin couldn't help but be a little surprised at finding herself suddenly in a city, though to be honest, she had no idea what exactly she'd been expecting. But it seemed that this place might be full of answers, or maybe hidden things. Hidden things were good, and they might answer some more questions.

However, first things first, Rime wanted to get out of this rain. A few drops had landed on her face as she poked her head out to look around a bit, wincing and quickly ducking back under a bit of shelter with a sigh. This would make things more difficult, but not impossible.

While scanning the area for anything that might look shiny, she noticed the Goddess there, feeling a tug within her heart as she made her way over towards the other being. The closer she got, the more relaxed she felt, until there was suddenly nothing but darkness. Panic began to rise as images flashed before her eyes, vaugely making out sounds of others talking.

"Oh isn't she just the most adorable little ghoul you've ever seen?" a female looking figure coo'd over a small bundle being plucked out of a pumpkin patch. Which seemed a little odd, as why a small thing would be out there, Rime had no idea.

"That she is dear. Come now, bring her inside and we'll get her settled in and introduced to the rest of the family in time." another figure spoke up, deeper voice this time, as they slide a arm around the female and guided them into a odd looking building.

And that was where the memory ended as the goddess took the memory from Rime, and suddenly she wasn't quite as concerned as before. What was it that happened? All that was left was calm, protected feeling as the goddesses wings unfurled from around her.

Zihyu wandered onto the scene just in time get brushed by wings of a Goddess. She felt much better and very safe and yet the contact didn't last long. Not long at all.

The small figure let out a small disappointed sound as thoughts and feelings welled up inside her after the brief second of quiet. Now what was she to do? Oh. Yes. There was a task to perform.

She started to move about with no real clear goal in mind other than task completion. Maybe if she finished this she would get to talk to the Goddess or someone important..Was there someone as important as a Goddess? Did they all have wings? How were they born?

On and on it went.

Zauus extended her grey, shadowy legs out, resting her heels on the concrete. She clicked her toes together as she inspected the fragments. The warmth was faint but the glow remained in her hands. She looked around to see if there were any more. By her feet, she saw one and picked it up. Did she drop this? She counted them in her hands. one... two... three... four! Another one! How lucky!

Pictures flickered before her eyes but then disappeared.

"I don't know?" She stared up at him with wide eyes, "I guess I really didn't think about it." She laced her hands together and studied the boy, pleased that he had stopped. She had never talked to a boy so normally like this!

Wait...Was that true? Wasn't she usually...shier?

huh?

"Your ears are very Cute." Impah smiled...or attempted too...a yellowish blush spread over her features. "I wonder why I don't have ears like that?" She reached up to touch hers. They felt...different then what his were. Well what she imagined what they felt like. "I'm Impah? Who are you?"

She decided that her rest was enough and that she should be on her way. She stood up and headed off, fragments in hand. Many of them were out of her reach.
