As she entered the shrine she heard the goddess speaking to them all, and finally she knew why she had all the fragments. Perhaps if she had come here first she would have known already. Regardless, she set the fragments at the foot of the statue and she smiled a bit to herself as they seemed to be accepted. It is often said that you never realize what you are missing until it's returned to you. As her form gained more shape she could sense a wispy, barely there tail behind her and she spun in place a few times trying to catch a glimpse of it. There was this strange familiarity, in presenting the goddesses with these fragments. But somehow.. The unsettled feeling was quickly passed over, as Isaa kissed the pedestal of the goddesses before her.

This was such a good feeling.. Eyasa's hand lingered over er chest for a moment, wishing for more.. but it didn't come.

Tiletk brought in his fragments for the Goddesses and let the blessing fill him which made his grin appear wide and proud. This was a good challenge for him, it boosted his confidence beyond what it once might have been.

Sophie arrived at the shrine and presented the fragments that were gingerly removed from her pocket. She let out a breath, feeling the blessing come over her. Lex was not far behind Ephi, and offered his fragments up shortly after her. The goddesses words were sweet, but the reward was sweeter still as he felt himself become more solid, something seeming to fill him and give him shape. A tall and lanky form but one that now had slightly more distinguishing features. A leg of bone, a skeletal hand, the stronger impression of clothing, of tousled and messy hair. Nanco scampered into the shrine, but quickly slowed to a respectful walk as she again felt the atmosphere of the place. She placed the five little fragments before the Goddesses, and almost immediately felt their approval. She held her hands up before her, and was certain they were more solid, less shadowy than they had been before. "Thank you, Goddesses!" she said, throwing a practice punch into the air.

The little shadow followed his companion to the shrine, holding his fragments gently like precious gems. With this, the goddess would give him a form, a real form! Watching as the other shadow offered up the fragments and became more, the little one did the same. It was like... his own heart was becoming less empty. And when he looked down at his own self, it did have a form! A form! Instead of quivering, the little shadow wagged his tail at his other shadow friend, dressed in a similar style. Yiro had somehow managed to find her way to the shrine, pockets filled to the brim with her fragment friends. She could not say it felt fulfilling, but it did take the edge off of this lingering abyss of singularity.
What was this place? Her heart urged her forward, into the fog.
The goddess. She... She needed these fragments? Or was it Yiro who needed the goddess to have them. Woefully, she scooped the little objects out of her pockets and held them out. The sight of them disappearing gave a feeling of hopelessness, but the physical pain bestowed upon her caused that hopelessness to temporarily dissipate.
She had succeeded, and the sacrifice was not in vein.

The station was seemingly devoid of more fragments and so Loffie had wandered further into the shadow in search of more, cradling the five he had against his bare chest. But instead of finding a fragment in the darkness, he found a statue, no a figure, that loomed before him. His first instinct was to flee, to run to safety but before he could even think of lifting a foot, the figure's arm was extending forward, reaching straight into his core. The feeling burned, his chest tight. His arms released their prizes, the orbs drifting towards the figure while he clutched at his core. Then it was done, and in the absence of the scorching heat, the familiar coolness of the goddess settled in and his anxiousness quieted, a second blessing received. He had all the fragments. They were bright, and noisy, and he turned them over.
He hadn't been using them.
But it made him wonder. Was what he was getting back worth it? I mean, if the goddesses wanted something...and just because he didn't know the value-
But as he did, he changed.

Leeshah entered the shrine with the five shards feeling quite pleased she had them with her. She was getting another blessing? She turned all five of the shiny fragments over. This was feeling really really good. As if she was more of a someone now.
