She nodded in response to his question. She knew of no other way to describe it. Meeting people was nice, and by now, well, she'd known him the longest of all the others she'd ever met. And there was something else. A feeling that she had found something, something forgotten about. Something she couldn't quite place. It was hard to pin down, since when she tried to think about it, it flickered away.

"Where?" Her attention was brought back to the conversation. "I came from...not here. It was a land of difficult ground, pointy things, and red." She pointed to her heart. It had all been red. "Before that...I was somewhere with no color."

She glanced around, noting how different this place was from where she had come. "Are you from here?"

Again she nodded. She'd just said that there had been no color, but if he needed it confirmed, she was happy to oblige.

Her gaze followed his gesture. "I see that you are all blue, yes." It made sense. So this was their home. Interesting.

"Oh! Um, yes. I'd very much like to go with you," she was nodding as she moved to follow him. The thought of not following, of staying behind, made her sad. She didn't like that. She had a friend. She wasn't about to leave him.

Having not yet really gotten up the courage within herself to venture out from the places she knew, not when she was currently alone and felt it better to have a companion, Annabell wandered back to where she had caught all those pretty little crystals. A few people were still milling around, but it was the sight of a mixed glow that drew the girl closer. A small figure stood nearby, looking lost and scared, but what was remarkable was her yellow core. It had tinges of blue, which meant she was safe, but Annabell was instantly drawn to her, offering a soft smile as she drew closer.

"Hi! You look lost!" Best introduction ever. "You're all glowy yellow! That's really interesting!"

Well, if there were other places as big as the ruins, that seemed a completely legitimate worry. But Annabell only smiled kindly at her and pointed to an area a little bit away.
"Well, what I have been doing is wandering around and seeing what happens! We can do the same and I can let you know if we get close to anything cool!" Staying in pairs and groups seemed a good idea that she wanted to adhere to.

"Of course we could!" Annabell chirped back, just about to offer to escort the girl around when she heard anther voice instead. This one made her vey happy and she flapped an excited hand at her friend.
"Ooohhh! Isn't the Shrine lovely? Glad you made it back!" A hand reached out to touch the area of his shoulder, a quick little tap of approval and affection before she turned back to the girl. "She can be a new friend if she wants! I am Annabell, and this is Lance."

Looked like she found a shard here. She picked it up to store it away and somehow heard the word "tater". She had no clue at all what the meaning was but it didn't seem important to her. Now she just needed to find more. Maybe others were doing the same?

When she found one near the water, she smiled, enjoying the warm feeling it gave, not really hearing the sound of birds that came with.

Leeshah found another shard and grabbed it to store it again. This time she thought she heard "friends" and was somewhat happy with what she heard before sort of forgetting it again. "Is there anyone here?" she suddenly started to shout. There had to be others here.
