Another glance around the immediate area turned up nothing, and Loffie wondered if it was time to move on. He looked out at the rain, thinking, but ultimately something held him back from leaving, a slight nagging sensation at the edge of his heart. No, he needed to find another orb.

He was close to giving up when a single orb flew past his head, almost hitting him as it bounced through the air.
Desperate not to miss it, Loffie lunged after it, chasing it for all he was worth. When he finally caught it, three simple words echoed through his mind, but he had no idea what they meant.

The last one was a lot easier than the first few.
It was because he knew more. He was learning.
It's my server.
Somehow, even though it was different, this voice was like his too. Having coralled the last of the crystals, he headed towards the shrine to reap his blessing and get one step closer to knowing more about where they were, and what was happening to them.

After sitting for a long while in the subway, with brief interludes to fight annoying creatures, she was drawn away from the subway, following her feet to a new area of the Ruins. Hmmm.

Sitting around in the ruins was starting to seem a bit redundant. Naiad got up and looked around. She then spotted an old door with an odd old sign above it. Intrigued she made her way over to the door and feels the humm from behind it. Nodding, she opens it and enters the new area of the ruins.

He had only ventured back this way in search of a bag to carry his spoils and his gun. Having found one, albeit a really holey one with a big yellow smiley face on it, Stew continued on past the placed he'd been before, and on into a whole new world.

Well this seemed as though it was going to go fantastically. Creeping through the ruins, this strangely-lit, shambling fragment of what appeared to have once been a thriving metropolis, Shatann tried to keep to the shadows as best he could. Not too daunting a task, considering his surroundings.
Shambling along, he nearly tripped over a piece of rubble, pausing to blink carefully at the glowing sphere he had unearthed.
Oh.
"Hullooo...." Extending a hand, he tried to catch the thing within his palm.
Surprisingly, it came willingly to his fingertips.

Shatann frowned as profoundly as he knew how, vexed by how the other fragment had eluded him. Now that he knew they truly existed, he rather wondered just how many were out there, lost and wandering. Lifting up the smaller bits of rubble, he began to clamber about, drifting in his own reality as he scavenged for the pinpoints of incandescence.
Perhaps this one down here would talk to him. "Oh hello there..."

Shaw wandered into a landscape perhaps more alien than the last.
It was what appeared to be some kind of sprawling metropolis, done up in screaming yellow and cut with stark black shadows. Here and there were accents of glowing red.
He shook his head, and continued on.
