Super Corrupt Hylonome Location: G9 Action: A little concerned about Hatsya's disappearance
Hatsya had been glorious to watch in the glimpse that she caught from her position behind Prehnite. Hylonome had absolutely no doubt that the other corrupt senshi was in her element blocking the strikes of lightning that had been lashing everyone else. Her magic allowed her to cancel out magical use somehow and so it seemed to have been a good choice to use the abilities that everyone brought to the table in the best way. That was until Hylonome watched in horror as a sudden bolt of lightning struck Hatsya square on. Almost in slow motion did the senshi of swordplay's body simply vanish out of sight and it was a hard fought battle not to simply rush out from behind the protection that Prehnite had been offering to her in order to immediately seek out where Hatsya had disappeared too.
The brunette was stunned. What sort of magic did the creature have up its sleeve that would just cause an individual to disappear? A glare was sent up in the now weakened creature's position above the crowd before she witnessed the state of the Captain on their team. Moving with caution did Hylonome reach Sodalite's side in order to offer what aid she could in using one of her basic attacks to offer the man the flower that made up her namesake. Placing the bloom in Sodalite's hand with a pointed look that he should ingest it did the Edelweiss senshi march back to Prehnite.
"I don't like this at all. People don't normally disappear after being struck by lightning. Do you have any sort of tricks up your sleeves that would help in bringing her back to us?"
Even as she was talking, the bracelet that had been placed around her wrist began to emit the weirdest feeling. Hylonome had the sense that the stone on the bracelet was telling her that there was something she needed to do, as soon as possible. The sensation continued and Hylonome gave the item a strange look before shaking her wrist.
"What's going on here?"

DMS Eternal Melpomene Location: E7 Action: Trying to wake Chalcanthite, picking him up to get him out of here...to somewhere.
The beast was contained, he could see that, the spikes were holding and it had shrunk. It didn't meant it wasn't fighting, that it didn't still send lightening after them, because he felt a hell of a shock from it which brought him to his knees. He was weak, but he was doing his best, as he crawled his way towards his downed spouse and laid himself over him as if he could keep him safe from the lightening still striking.
"Chal, we need to go...you need to get up." He whispered shaking him, nudging him desperately, as he felt tears welling up in his eyes. "It's done - we won....I told you we'd win." And he now needed the general to wake so they could go home together, because they could continue on as they'd planned and have that wedding.
Looking up, staring ahead, he could see something was going on. Tears that were closing slowly, and while he didn't know what they would do or where they went, Melpomene was slowly climbing to his feet as he moved to pick his partner up. He was tall, taller than the dark mirror was, and the general was hard to maunver but he did his best lift the other bridal style because it seemed like the best idea even if it was a strain on his already tired body.
"You need to be ok..." And he needed to find Desiree and Aoede, and he did start moving to find them both.

Corrupt Human Mauvian Katya Location: A6 to E7 Action: With Wadeite and attacking the beast with a book..lets see how that goes.
Standing there, shock and adrenalin racing through her, Katya stood there alone and now a corrupt senshi of sorts. She wasn't the same, she knew that, but she was still a senshi. Her tail lashed behind her in agitation as she looked around for anyone she knew. Where was her general? She knew he was here somewhere as well as others from his family, she just knew it, and that was when she took off looking for them.
Wandering, looking at those around her, she finally spotted a familiar uniform and hurried toward the downed general. Shock stilled her, kept her rooted to where she stood, before she finally started moving on weak legs and sunk down at his side when she reached him. His eyes were abornal, dark, it looked like stars were in his eyes and he wasn't responding. Shaking him, her crown nearly falling off her head, the mauvian was pleading with him in harsh whispers.
"We need to leave, we have to go home. Kafka is waiting and we need to get back." She insisted while shaking him, looking around for potential help. She needed him to wake up so they could go home, to Kafka, and she could show off to them both what she'd achieved as well.
"Please." She finally saw a familiar figure not too far off - Stichite.
"Stichite! Miyamoto!" Calling out for them both, so glad to see them still standing, it looked like the corrupt was close to falling over as he shook and looked far too pale. He looked unwell.

Transcendant Eternal Sailor Chariklo Location: I7 Action: Cramming one big scale and lots of little ones into her subspace to look at later, gaining a new cutie mark and trying to figure things out
They’d… done it? They’d beaten the Hallow? Chariklo should have been thrilled. Instead, she was tired and worried. Judging by how swiftly the Hallow had shrunk and the spikes were.. spiking away, it definitely seemed like they’d done what they’d needed to do.
Except we don’t know if the Earth is okay, she thought. We’re trapped here and we don’t even know. Her heart ached for her twins. She would stay here for eternity and feel peace if she only knew that her babies and the Earth were safe.
For a lack of anything better to do, she kicked at some of the scales that had fallen from the Hallow throughout the fight and grabbed some of the more interesting and enact specimens, stuffing them into subspace to look at later. If there ever was a later… No. She wouldn’t let herself slide down that particular slope. They were alive. They might still find a way. She reached out a hand to Xibalba, pulling to draw him close. As she reached out to hug him, lightning struck them both, one last sulk from the Hallow perhaps? Chariklo felt deafened for a moment as her skin seared. Once the lightning was gone, she and her husband were leaning on each other and panting raspily. Had they screamed? She couldn’t tell anymore.
“Are you okay, babe?” she murmured, shaking her head a little to clear it and freezing. Where the lightning had danced struck Xibalba, a winding snake-like marking wound its way across his chest and stomach. “Um,” she said intelligently and pointed at him.
What the hell was even?
And that didn’t even cover the humming she could feel coming from her subspace. Without thinking she reached out for it and withdrew the red gem that she’d found in her little giftbag. She watched as it floated up and seemed to connect with others, creating a faint, glowing red tracery. These had come from Almadel. What trick did he have up his sleeve?
Xibalba Squire of Mars Location: I7 Action: Gaining a non-consensual cutie mark and grabbing some scales
Xibalba didn’t even watch as the snake shrunk and coiled up to glare balefully at them all. He didn’t bother trying to approach or strike out. He could remember the video of the ghost queen well enough. If she hadn’t been able to kill it back then, it wouldn’t be killable now. Might as well follow Chari’s lead and collect a few souvenirs. A handful of the little scales went into his subspace pocket to be examined later. If they made it home, who knew? Perhaps he could find a use for them then. But for now…
He reached for Chariklo at the same time she reached for him. He knew she would be thinking about the twins and he shared her worries. It would be a hell of a thing if they’d failed to protect the Earth and those on it. Or to have succeeded only to never be able to go home to their children. Either outcome was grim.
He opened his arms to his wife, wanting nothing more in the moment than to hold her close. When the lightning struck, he instinctively tried to shield her from the worst of it. He thought at one point, he may have let out a harsh scream as the lightning burned through him. Then, it was over and he and Chariklo leaned on each other. And, at about the same time she was pointing at him, he pointed back at a snake mark seared into her chest and winding up her neck.
Glancing down at his chest, he tried to make sense of what had happened. And, as he couldn’t, because nothing made sense in this place, Xibalba allowed himself to laugh a little hysterically.
“M’love, if ye’d wanted his and her tattoos, all ye had tae do was ask. It would have been easier.”
Super Sailor Namaka Location: E10 Action: Trying to process everything. Stuffing some scales into subspace.
Sinking to the ground and staring a little numbly at everyone around her, Namaka found herself wondering what would happen now. All around, she could see people with odd, blank eyes or other people being hit by lightning that wouldn’t stop. So far, she suffered neither problem and for that, she was grateful. Since she didn’t know what fresh hell could or would happen next, she was taking this moment and letting herself breathe.
All around were the fallen and broken scales of the Hallow. Some were so small that she couldn’t imagine them having come from something as big as the World Eater. Even if it seemed to have shrunk significantly. Reached out, she scooped up a small handful of the tinier scales, running her finger through them to sift out the broken pieces. They were kind of pretty. What the hell, she thought. After everything they’d all just been through, she was allowed to scavenge. She opened up her subspace just enough to shove the scales in before sighing.
Well. Now what?
Super Sailor Orcus Location: H9 Action: Trying to comfort Arawn, letting her gem out of subspace Normally, Orcus should have been the last person that anyone would have turned to for comfort. She simply wasn’t built for the softer emotions, though she tried and was, at least, a little better than she used to be. But the sight of the dark mirror carrying his friend and crying for help tore at her heart. She had no healing magics to offer, but she still reached out a hand to lay it lightly upon the senshi’s arm, squeezing gently. She could offer this much. He wouldn’t have to bear his grief alone.
Fortunately, Remarque and the little green haired senshi seemed to have more to offer than silent sympathy. She was relieved enough to hear that the fallen dark mirror was still alive. Alive meant he could be helped. And that was all to the good.
Sighing softly, she backed away a few steps, suddenly feeling a humming that demanded that she open her subspace. Which she did and the rem gemstone that she’d found in her bag zipped out, glowing red and pulsing. She watched, eyes wide as she began to spot other tiny red glows appearing. Lines seemed to form between them and she felt the bracelet on her wrist react. It almost felt like a call, though she couldn’t say what it was.
Moving to get closer to her former Prince, Orcus reached out to tap him, eyes fixed on the red, glowing mists.
“Remarque,” she murmured. “Look.”

Super Sailor Chibi Saiph Location: I7 Action: Collecting some scales, looking for her cat and acquiring lightning marks
Watching the Hallow shrink and try to escape and then seemingly give up, Saiph wondered at what would happen now. The spike things were working now and the Hallow seemed to be sealed away again.
Only they were sealed with it.
She wasn’t going to cry. She wasn’t! But the not knowing if Earth was safe or if they could even return was hard. Her mother had already lost one daughter when Kat had vanished. It would kill her if Esfir were gone too. But if Earth was safe… It didn’t make this situation any better, but there was a tiny flicker of hope.
And speaking of hope… She’d heard Cuan’s voice a few moments ago. She knew the kitten had bolted off and had trusted that she’d come back. Wandering, the chibi senshi looked for the lykoi kitten, finally seeing a little smoky grey spot moving quickly across the field. Grinning a little, Saiph stretched out her arms, intending to welcome Cuan back with a massive squeezing hug.
The lightning had other ideas. She felt herself struck again and screamed (she was so tired of screaming) as her arm and part of her neck felt as if they were being burned to the bone. Stumbling away and falling to the ground, Saiph panted and stared at her left hand and arm. A winding, snake mark once again decorated her flesh. Only, this time felt different. Like the lightning had gone deeper into her than before. Somehow, she suspected that this time, the mark wouldn’t just fade away…
Sailor Iapetus Location: G6 Action: Coming back to herself
Iapetus wasn’t entirely sure about what had happened. She remembered the lightning hitting her. Remembered feeling wrong and had found herself floating about the battle grounds, unable to make anyone see or hear her. She’d assumed that the lightning had killed her and she’d be a ghost with unfinished business for the test of time.
Being a ghost, she’d decided, sucked all the a**. No one had been able to hear her or see her and all she’d been able to do was watch as the ******** snake hurt people. It was infuriating to feel so helpless. But then, the snake had shrunk and she could see the spikes light up the dark and trap the ugly ********. Not that it made being dead any better, but it was something.
Only, she hadn’t stayed dead. She saw multiple points of soft, red light that seemed to push her away from the Hallow and back towards herself. She wanted to follow them. Approaching her own body, she could see Banana close by. Though she was a little more concerned with how stupid she, herself, looked kneeling there with wide and glassy eyes. That wouldn’t do at all. Sliding back into her body, Iapetus gave a shuddering, raspy gasp as she sucked air into her lungs. She heard snapping and a voice asking if she was alive. But she couldn’t really see anything except vaguely moving shadows.
Looking around wildly, her eyes still full of strange stars, Iapetus reached out blindly, trying to grab onto someone, anyone solid and real.
“I can’t see,” she said in a slightly panicked voice. “Why can’t I see? I think I’m alive though? I feel alive and I don’t think I’m possessed? Who are you? Did you see the red lights too?”

Mauvian Cuán Oileán Location: E8 running back to I7 Action: Returning to her senshi and collecting tiny scales on the way
Satisfied that Haldane and his young lady had things well in hand, Cuan ignored everything as she bolted back to where she’d left Saiph. Dodging scales and people, the kitten made her way back to her group. Though, she may have paused long enough here and there to collect a few of the tinier scales.
As she got closer, she saw Saiph running to meet her and purred deep within her chest. Only for her purr to become a terrified shriek as she watched Saiph be struck with lightning. She saw her fall to the ground and put on a burst of speed to reach her girl. Once she got there, she stared at Saiph’s arms and neck before shifting her blue-green gaze to Saiph’s face and asking, in an incredulous tone,
Moving slowly amongst the people that she’d been fighting with, Ilmare wasn’t entirely sure what to think. She knew that she hoped none of her superiors would see her, though she wondered if they’d even care if they did. They’d all been fighting the Hallow together. Still, she hoped she could go unnoticed a little longer.
She could see that they’d re-trapped the snake all while managing to trap themselves too. But she had no idea what was going on with Earth or if the people here were the only ones left in the universe.
She hoped not. She really did. But she didn’t know and that not-knowing hurt.
Eventually, she saw little flickers of red light appearing and a red mist connecting those points. She had no idea if this was some new torment, but she thought it wasn’t. But before she could follow that thought further, she found herself staring down at the bracelet on her wrist. Really, it almost felt like she was being summoned.
Not permanently. She'd been sucked up into some kind of fight with a creature that had been able to bend the rules of reality somehow.
She'd still felt it. Bones breaking, flesh and blood spilled out, breath stopping, pain and pain and pain. Then nothing, almost all at once. Darkness. Coolness. Peace, almost.
Then starting over.
This felt different. Worse, almost. She'd felt herself dissolve from Abzu's arms, and the pain had been there, almost suffocating, like before. She still could think, though. She still could breathe. It was cold here, she thought, shivering in the light of the Dark Star. Although, perhaps it wasn't quite cold, not like that. Perhaps it was just the gaze of the Dark Star, wrapping around her very spirit with its chilling fingers.
She didn't know why it would look at her. It was immense, celestial, a great and terrible beauty. She was so small and insignificant that she hadn't even been able to save her friends from its child by pouring out her own lifeblood. Earth was gone, wasn't it?
This was all that remained.
Well, maybe. There was another light, too. Small, but instead of being dark, it was red. Instead of being cold, it was warm. It made the wrongness of the other star feel more obvious. She wasn't supposed to be here.
Abzu. She thought of him, his soft hands on her, holding her tightly, even at the end. She hadn't meant to leave him, hadn't wanted to. She had to get back. And for some reason, that light felt like him.
She cold walk. She could move. Slowly at first, and then faster, and faster. There were other lights, too, in the sky. Something felt warm on her hand, pulling her towards them. She could see a path for a moment, beautiful, made of wisps of light.
And in the back of her mind she knew that this was not supposed to be the end. There was a part of that which was as terrifying as death, as eternal solitude. But for the others, she would face it.
Those around her would have seen the dust come back together, faintly glowing, to reform her body. She did not feel that. She just knew she could see light of the ruby in his pocket. She knew she could feel the warmth of being in his arms.
"I found you," she murmured, her voice more hoarse than it should have been. She leaned against his chest, still trembling slightly.
The Commodore was glorious. For a moment, Vyn felt like the foolish, absent-minded Cadet he used to be, the one who’d come to Earth wide-eyed and naive but full of hope, lost to silly daydreams he would never make reality, stringing flowers together with unpracticed hands.
He shook that part of himself away, eyes trained up, rifle still aimed at the Calamitous Hollow. The prison held it in place, but there was nowhere for the rest of them to go.
Vyn didn’t let himself think about it yet. Lightning struck all around; trapping the creature hadn’t reduced the risk. The ground was littered with scale debris. Vyn stepped around bodies, looked long enough to determine whether or not they were Vanguard, then to note their starry-eyed stares into nothingness, but he didn’t dwell on them. Not now. He changed his grip on his rifle to stop his hands from shaking. He ignored the heavy pounding of his heart, the sick lurch of his stomach.
Vyn scanned the cluster of faces around him, tried to make an accurate count of the Vanguard among them—Lysanna, Cypher, Andreiya, Naeria, Daesva, Aliez—but he lost track when something warm and wet slid down his cheek.
Hastily, Vyn turned away. After all this, to cry now when he’d stubbornly held the tears at bay… Vyn wiped them away aggressively, but his hand came away sticky and red. Bemused, Vyn felt around for the wound and found one above his temple beneath his hair. It was small. Nothing to worry about, really. An easy fix. He couldn’t even be sure when it'd happened, but assumed a piece of debris was responsible, whipped around by the wind. Vyn spared a moment for the rest of his body, but none of his aches troubled him enough that he thought it worth concerning himself with. The twinge in one knee didn’t slow him down. His bodysuit sported flecks of blood elsewhere. Maybe his own. Maybe someone else’s.
He wiped his hand clean on his thigh, leaving another streak of red. Vyn didn’t look at it for long. He lifted his gaze back to the Calamitous Hollow and tried to salvage some of the hope he’d been cultivating before.
Mauvian Illyria Location: F3 Action: Reflecting on the battle that has been "won?"
Even as Procyon's upgrade took and he now stood before her as the eternal senshi he was meant to become did Illyria feel a sense of accomplishment that at least something good could have come of this ordeal. Her attention shifted as once more the Calamitous Hollow attempted to strike back at all those that had done damage to it before it appeared to run out of energy to launch another attack. Its abrupt failure to do so had the Mauvian breathing a small sigh of relief. Did that mean that the battle was over? Had the defenders of Earth triumphed? Grasping Procyon's hand Illyria tried to tug the newly minted eternal towards Ida and Kerberos before the strangest sensation of humming emanating from where she'd stashed the cloth bag from earlier. Recalling the item from her own pocket of subspace did the Mauvian open the pouch to again examine the red gemstone that had been inside with the other items.
After the battle had started she had just rushed to tuck the thing away for safe keeping so that it wouldn't be lost. Now though there was a liveliness to the stone that Illyria didn't know if she should find it alarming or not. Taking the stone completely out of the cloth that covered it did Illyria lay it flat out on her right palm before staring down into the faceted surface. No, she wasn't going to get drawn into a new mystery, not now. Even if that mysterious object seemed to be emitting a light that corresponded to other little red lights on the field; and when she lifted her gaze to the sky, to some far away point that was shrouded in the debris cloud that could have meant the destruction of all that she had held dear.
What was almost as strange was the fact that the bracelet she'd slipped onto her wrist after turning to her humanoid form was suddenly coming to life. Still, even as she approached Ida's side once more did Illyria look over at the state of those all those that stood nearby before leaning up to whisper in Ida's ear, "something's happening with this stone ... and the bracelet. I don't know why it doesn't seem to be a cause for alarm though."
Illyria only hoped that Procyon would stay close because of the feeling of uncertainty she was now experiencing. What did the sensation of the bracelet mean, and why was her gemstone acting up now, of all times?

Hawara would have recognized him no matter how his form changed.
The feeling of eyes on him had made Hawara glance around and that is when he saw him.
There were a myriad of ways this encounter could have gone.
If it had been a mere handful of years ago, it could have been disastrous. How many times in the chambers of his wonder had he fought and slain the amalgamations of that person who lived in his memories? And in a myriad of depraved and vicious ways to boot?
At first the encounters would stun him - churn his stomach with anxiety and raw feelings that resonated with a loud dissonance in his mind, driving him mad.
Then the sick feeling in his stomach turned to disgust and rage.
Then simple petty and depraved vengeance.
He had processed through so much - not just the wounds left in their wake, but the why, the how... The catharsis that came in the aftermath of his rage brought clarity. Hawara was able to understand that they had both been very broken people doing the best they could with their limited life experience. They had been young, dumb, and didn't have the maturity or experience to properly handle any of the trauma that they had gone through, put one another through. They were very much just kids who had gone through things they never should have, while having brains that weren't fully developed enough to process even a quarter of it, much less understand the bigger picture, or empathize properly...
Hawara forgave..... himself. It took years, and a lot of work, but he had put in the work to become a better version of himself and make a better life for himself. He hadn't done it alone, and there were a number of people he had to thank for where he found himself these days, but the key that had opened that door had been forgiving himself.
So now, when he looked at this twisted form of someone he once knew he felt....
Nothing.
Not disdain, not indifference not pity, just.... Nothing.
There was no expression on his face that could give any hint at any emotion, because when Hawara looked at Wolframite, there was none.
Vibrant pink eyes simply blinked slowly as he looked away, attention diverting elsewhere as he stood there, the glow of transcendence upon his skin, and the magical winds of Uranus gently whipping the fabrics of his uniform.
"We didn't die," Nikki told Cryolite. She smiled at that, but she also looked around kind of nervously.
The big snake was trapped.
Nectaris still couldn't see Earth. Hopefully the shields had worked and it was still there. Hopefully they could figure out how to get back. Almadel's bracelet was warm. Maybe that would help.
But none of those problems were problems like the snake, which had taken all of her attention due to the trying to kill everyone thing. Which meant, she could actually think for a second.
Which meant that she had to think about the fact that her boyfriend, still in his Negaverse uniform, was standing right next to her in the middle of this giant crowd. An agent had just been staring all of them down. There were General Kings everywhere. Also Encke, which, when it came to Cryolite, was basically the same thing.
She wanted to protect him from all of that, as much as she could. But, that wasn't the kind of choice she could just make for him. That thought scared her way more than the fight had.
"Thanks for coming to fight with me," she said to him, softly, while maybe everyone else was distracted. "It means a lot."
There had been other boys, but would any of them have actually done that for her?
"Are you gonna go back to them?" she asked, nodding towards where she was pretty sure she could see Faustite and the others in the distance. Her lip trembled at the thought. "I don't know if it's a good idea, with how you already uh, acted a little bit like a traitor. Also," she glanced to Promethei, glanced back to him, "With how deep down, you're not happy there."
She was tired. The fight had taken it out of her. It made it harder than usual to hold back tears. She did her best anyway.
Valhalla saw the lightning strike Alastor, and his heart felt like it was being shattered. Sessrumnir would be there with him, of course. Anyone else crowding would just draw attention to their vulnerabilities. So Valhalla kept his place between Laurelite and the Negaverse agents with her, and his family. He stood in front of Ganymede, ready to stop her if she decided now was the perfect opportunity to attack.
Earth’s fate was still unknown, but the Calamitous Hollow had been trapped in its prison. They’d known the dangers of going. They knew they were risking being trapped with it. It was why they brought their family somewhere safe before all of this.
And yet, he felt something shift.
He saw the red light before he remembered the stone he’d received in his bag. It looked like there weren’t many others, if the connections linked them all together.
The Negaverse hadn’t retreated. They hadn’t picked each other up and teleported away from that place. How could they? They would risk getting electrocuted by the lightning. Laurelite remained. The other General Sovereigns remained. The Dark Mirror and the Vanguard were all there as well.
Maybe this was their way out.
And it was fading fast.
“Laurelite,” he called, cautious and wary, but determined. He held out his hand to show her the red stone, although he was certain she could see the others as well.
“We don’t know what the future is going to hold. We don’t know how many more of these are out there,” he said, gesturing to the imprisoned serpent. “You’re right, of course. We do need you. Just as much as you need us. Come with us. No one should be left to die here. It's yours if holding it will make you feel better about our odds,” he offered, red stone still in his outstretched hand. He didn't know who else held those stones, but the likelihood that it was all Negaverse officers, yet none had approached the Queen with theirs? Well... he would take his chances.
The Calamitous Hollow had been defeated. Or at the very least subdued. It was imprisoned now, and Aliez couldn’t bring himself to look up at it. He glanced down at his arm where it was stained red from when he’d been struck with debris earlier, but hadn’t paid much attention to it. Others hadn’t been as lucky.
His arm ached from holding up his shield, but he would never complain about being able to protect others. Especially when those others were people he cared about.
He wanted to go find Vyn. He saw him return, but lost him as everyone began to try to figure out what to do next. He wanted to make sure Andreiya was okay. And Daesva and Fangnyl and Lysanna and Cypher. Naeria had been with Andreiya, so she was probably okay. What about Nessaela or Vysynnia? Tenoch and Yddagen?
The lightning reflected light off of the crystal on his wrist. He could feel the energy now. He remembered how Lyndin had looked at them before, when they all retrieved them from their bags from Almadel, and how confident he’d been when telling them to all put the bracelets on.
Other than a quick glance for serious injuries (that he would have helped cover up), Aliez didn’t outwardly fuss over Lyndin, or make any comments about his injuries or extreme use of energy. It wasn’t that he didn’t care about the Commodore -- it was because he did. They were still too close to those they couldn’t trust. Any assumption of weakness might make them easier targets, especially when their fate was unknown.
“Sir, are you not telling us something because you don’t want us disappointed if it doesn’t work, again…?” he asked quietly as he tugged the armband he wore loose so he could slide it onto his injured arm, covering up the wound for the time being. He would worry about it later.

Captain Brassite location: d2 action: almost breaking down, getting a pair of cool sunglasses, and then following Hessonite
A long, forever sorta moment passed when Hessonite called out to her, Brassite still but for her panting, body not quite ready to really and truly just stop. The momentum of the battle was still rattling inside her, even as the order finally registered and the girl's eyes began to clear. It took a bit but she finally eased down, enough to have her staggering once more, like only the tension of the next attack had kept her upright. Took another moment, bruised hands braced on shaking knees, for her to be able to nod.
"Yeah....yeah I'm..." Brassite looked up, at the General Queen. In the distance stood the other general sovereigns, among countless other members of the Negaverse. All had come here today. All had fought. And throughout the battle were the knights and senshi of order too. The Mirror Weirdos. The actual a** We Come In Peace aliens she'd glimpsed from time to time.
Most of them...she wouldn't count on them to get their hands dirty, not the way she would. The way other members of the Negaverse would if they had to. But they had showed up, they'd fought hard and maybe...maybe they were stuck here. Maybe they'd also given up a lot, even everything, to get the job done.
It suddenly felt a little hard to breathe, and Brassite ducked her head down once more, overwhelmed not only by the battle, the adrenaline and crashing comedown - but by the sudden sense that the quiet, grim loneliness that had painted so much of her life, was being scraped away.
The teen's eyes squinted against the burning feeling that was threatening to take over, face secretly scrunching to hold in what scared or happy or hurt bit of cry was trying to burst out.
"I..." The single syllable was wet and thick.
And then something lightly hit her head, and Brassite angrily snatched it up, thinking it was another ******** scale off that a*****e ********-
But it was just a pair sunglasses. Their appearance was weird, incongruous, and honestly kinda cool. A burst of crooked laughter escaped her lungs and the girl straightened up, putting them on to hide her eyes before turning to give Hessonite a grin and a thumb's up.
"I'm right as rain and cool as hell, ma'am." While she wasn't exactly skipping along after Hessonite, Brassite at least had the dignity of walking along after under her own. And, after the discrete use of a hankie in her subspace, she almost didn't look like she'd ever cried, not even for a moment.
Aquamarine was there. Physically. His mind was somewhere else entirely. Jet kept getting flashes of images and vague thoughts.
Which might mean that those who had been lost--
Maybe they weren’t gone. He just had no idea how to bring them back.
The Calamitous Hollow had been defeated, but there was no time to rest. Jet cast a wary glance over to make sure Seraphinite hadn’t gotten himself electrocuted or worse. He agreed that Aqua’s eyes were concerning, but--
“I’ll share with you later. He’s… been brought somewhere. It’s really strange, Sera. We should get everyone together and head to the Queen.”
Of course that was where everyone would be headed. Queen Laurelite was their pillar and strength. If they ever felt lost, they could just look to her to be their beacon.
“Asha--” he started, but stopped himself when he saw how distressed his friend looked. Jet’s own expression skewed into something of despair, but only for a moment. He could see it in Ashanite’s eyes.
He’d heard the cries of those around him, of course. He could see where their people had once been standing but were no more. Or just passed out completely with strange eyes like Aquamarine.
Jet cleared his throat of the sudden rise of emotion. He wasn’t qualified to offer comfort when he at least had Aquamarine’s physical form with him. He didn’t know how many Negaverse officers were left, but--
“We’re still needed, General. No one’s sacrifice will be in vain or forgotten.” He’d never forgotten his brother, or the sacrifice he made. If the others were truly gone… he would make sure they lived on in another way.
Location: D8 Action: Trying to figure things out; talking amongst each other ; Dering’s shield is failing
In some ways it was surprising to see his brother bantering with a much younger Knight, but Adria supposed Michel would argue with anyone who came his way. Reims wasn’t exactly an easy target, maybe they were both having fun. He looked at Malus, who just shrugged somewhat helplessly.
They were all doing their best. When the Calamitous Hollow came crashing down above them, when the lightning got worse, Malus was the one who tried to usher a bit closer to the teenagers.
It would suck if they all got struck by lightning! But he didn’t know what was going on. Soleiyu didn’t seem to have the answers; he was inspecting the glowing gemstone on his bracelet, and it was only then that Malus became aware of his own–and everyone else’s.
Almadel had given them a gift, but he’d neglected to mention how to use it. But then, he hadn’t explained that pin or berry, either. Were they just supposed to know?
“We should have moved faster,” Adria said to Varuna, apology in his voice.
“I don’t think we could have made it,” Malus tried to justify, but Varuna was smart. They should have moved before the shield went up. He tried to scan the area to see if anyone had made it out but he couldn't find a single face beyond the spikes.
With the Hollow downed and the lightning worsening, Michel stayed a little closer to the group. There were still too many General Sovereigns–ugh and that ******** Queen. His lip curled but he wasn’t interested in starting more s**t right now. Although, maybe it would have been a good time to try and take her out.
If they couldn’t get out of here hten they’d be at each other’s throats soon enough. Better to get rid of her, first.
It was wishful thinking. He stalked the perimeter around his group like that would help him find some weakness, some way out.
Their bracelets were glowing, but he didn’t know what the hell that was supposed to mean. Everyone looked like they were in one piece, so good enough for now. He didn’t trust that the giant serpent wasn’t going to just fall out of the sky and crush them, or just explode and take all of them out with it.
He hated feeling trapped. He wanted out. Everyone did, sure, but Michel’s skin was crawling.
Or maybe it was just all the lightning in the air.

The Calamitous Hollow had fallen? Amarynthos wished he’d had unrelenting faith in it the whole time–and he had believed in their abilities, but something about this–
Was it over?
No, they were still stuck here. He wanted to find Sessrumnir and ask what the next step was, because it seemed like they’d survived, but now they needed to figure out what their next move was going to be.
Getting out, obviously. Hopefully.
The lightning was getting worse and he was glad to have an excuse to stay on the ground. He held Ephesus close and dismissed his weapon. Maybe it was stupid. Maybe it was just biding its time and was going to attack again any second. There was an awkward, uncomfortable calm about it, in great contrast to the worsening storms.
He knew Ephesus had dreamed of winning this creature over, or befriending it, or something, but Amarynthos didn’t want anything to do with it. Not right now. He wanted to be home, wanted to process this.
Wanted to know if Earth was okay.
A light drew him out of his thoughts; he saw the bracelet on Ephesus’ wrist glowing. “Was it always doing that?” he asked, and checked his own wrist.
Also glowing.
Amarynthos frowned and looked around quickly, trying to figure out what this was. He looked to his friends, trying to figure out what he’d missed and what they could still piece together.
Dering heard but he couldn’t take his eyes off of the lute as he played it, like seeing it was going to help him focus on keeping his magic going. His fingers felt strangely raw, not because playing had been difficult but because it felt like he was strumming on lightning more than strings. Towards the end of his music, he started hitting the wrong notes, and the strings twanged. He whispered a stream of soft apologies.
His shield was failing, too.
The lightning hadn’t struck them before, not with any great concern, but now he was afraid that he wasn’t going to be able to help with that.
“I’m sorry,” he said again, but his voice wavered. The shield went down. He forced it back up. It fizzled and his breath hitched. He tried to force it again but the corners of his eyes were clouded with darkness.
Eternal Sailor Victoria, Senshi of Glory : Journal Location: A7 Action: Looking around at the aftermath - confused. Sullen.
They had won?
Victoria was standing there watching as the aftermath unfolded folks were missing or maybe not dead but not with them. Eyes glazed over - giving new meaning to seeing stars in your eyes. As if there were full galaxies in those eyes of the folks who weren't with them at the moment. He was tired and he sat down on the floor taking in the prison, the lightning.
It was all around them. He had a scale flipping through his fingers as if it was a gold coin and he slid one into his subspace. He wasn't sure what he'd do with it but after living though that. It felt necessary. A small trophy.
He'd heard the cries of Ashanite, pained. One of those who the general brought home must've been struck down. He cast his eyes downward as he heard the commotion before finally pushing himself up on unsteady feet standing. How were they going to get home? Sure the Calamitous Hollow was limp sparking slightly and held by the prison they'd encased it.
Ironically they'd encased themselves into it too. What were they suppose to do? Was there a way to get free? He noticed the red lights in the skies coming from some crystals that a few folks had. He was curious. He took an unsteady step he was going to feel this when he woke up. Though if he was in his own bed was a question that couldn't be answered right then and there. None of them knew if earth still existed at this point.
Perhaps it would've been better to have ended up with stars in his eyes and -- dreaming? He was going to convince himself it was dream of something besides this place.
