Ganymede felt her before she saw her, sucked in a breath as her dark, staggering aura fell over the hill. The extra gift from Almadel almost went without notice, tucked away into subspace with the berry. Ganymede stood frozen, motionless with shock, and anger, and the tiniest shred of fear.
Until the wind blew them forward. She held onto Valhalla, but it did neither of them much good. Ganymede imagined this was what it felt like to be flung through space and time, ripped from the hill overlooking Destiny City and dropped unceremoniously into another realm. For a moment she had to catch her breath, looking from one companion to the next to ensure they’d all arrived.
But her eyes inevitably fell onto Laurelite, tracking her as she walked through without a care in the world.
“We need eyes on her,” she decided.
Who better than Ganymede?
She scoffed quietly at the thought and righted herself. Her heart beat wildly. Ganymede didn’t relish the confrontation, but she couldn’t allow Laurelite to saunter around unchallenged, even if Ganymede knew Laurelite’s power vastly outstripped her own. The last time she’d truly seen Laurelite in action, Laurelite had been a General Queen. That night in the Dark Kingdom—all her nights in the Dark Kingdom, really—still haunted her nightmares. The glint of Laurelite’s scythe as it cut through several Senshi like it was nothing was an image that would live with her for the rest of her life.
What was she capable of now?
“You don’t have to come with me,” she told the others.
Valhalla would follow; Ganymede knew no amount of discouragement would keep him away. She expected Oberon would tread closer to Lyndin and the Vanguard. At least he’d be safer near them. Solaris was already on her way with the spike; Ganymede watched after her as she went. It was to Sessrumnir, Alastor, and Lucien she directed the comment most.
There wasn’t any time to linger. Ganymede followed in Laurelite’s wake, glass shoes keeping stride with Laurelite’s boots. When Laurelite stopped, so too did Ganymede. They were no more than a few yards apart.
“I hope you’ve got something up your sleeves to be walking around here all smug like that,” Ganymede said.
Remarque could make a mirror. They could go to mirrorspace. This was okay. They could tap out any time they wanted. This was just temporary. And then they’d go home.
Oh–well–maybe, actually, they’d win instead? Was that actually an option?
Laon was going to try. But, escape was on his mind, anyway. It was supposed to be a backup plan but every ounce of his mind was screaming to run now.
He only saw the thing they were fighting briefly. He’d read fantasy books. Watched movies. He couldn’t remember anything being this big.
“Right,” he agreed, and willed himself to be comforted by Arawn’s words. He was afraid if he said more then Arawn would hear how scared he was, and then it would just turn into a back and forth of them each assuring each other it was going to be okay.
So, maybe it was time to stop saying it, and time to start doing something about it.
Arnica arrived while Hekate was still on the ground, and he suspected by the expression on her face that she hadn’t meant to be there. He flashed a smile and held a hand out to help her up. There hadn’t been much time to talk between when he arrived and when they were leaving, and she’d only just had time to pull herself up.
So, they passed through the portal holding hands, and only after Remarque had finished speaking was he actually able to introduce himself.
“Arnica,” he introduced, not loud enough to carry throughout the group but enough for her to hear. “I got here a little late, can you fill me in on the bag I snagged on my way over? Kinda missed that part. I’m gonna follow Remarque, you coming?”
Page 1Page 19 Location: F3 Action:Staying with Lyndin. Vowing to protect anyone close to them where his shield can reach.
His ComTech wasn’t working? He held his breath as he attempted to restart it, but when that didn’t work, he gave up long enough to put on the bracelet as Lyndin suggested. Vyn was right. Almadel seemed okay when they were at the museum at least.
He hadn’t missed the way the Commodore inspected the bracelet. The way he touched the crystal, as though trying to coax it to reveal its secrets.
Don’t take it off.
He trusted Lyndin, but his curiosity felt like it was eating at him. Naeria had reached for Andreiya, so Aliez took a moment to gently untangle himself from his friends. As long as they stayed close, they would be safe. He would protect them with his shield.
How, he wasn’t sure.
They were pulled into the realm of the world devouring beast, and Aliez let out a quiet breath in horror at the sight above and around them. He blinked back the heat that filled his eyes, fear threatening to overtake him even as the Commodore spoke to them about how he trusted their judgment.
But should he trust their judgment? Because right now, Aliez was feeling very out of his league. How could Lyndin so easily stride forward to keep working and not crumple to the fate that loomed before them?
His heart was racing. He couldn’t breathe. Aliez placed a hand over his chest to try and settle himself down. To breathe. He needed to be strong for the rest of the Vanguard. Strong for Lyndin, who was working hard even now.
“Commodore,” Aliez said quietly as he moved to follow him, making sure to make eye contact with his friend -- with Vyn, Andreiya, Naeria. With Tenoch and Caelyna. He could see Daesva, Rhysi, and Lysanna. Nessaela and Cypher. He was pretty sure he saw Fangnyl. And Vysyvvia was new to Earth, but always welcome as a fellow Vanguard. Yddagen joined, and received a grateful nod. Others lingered, just farther away.
“No unexpected twists,” he repeated, making sure he was close enough so that his voice wouldn’t carry too much over the storm. “But you still want us to trust you, even though you’re keeping secrets and won’t tell us what you’re working on?”
He paused, still rubbing his hand over his chest to calm his heart. And then he nodded.
“Okay. I trust you. I’ll cover you. I’ll cover anyone who joins us here. Just please trust us to be able to help you more than just watching your back.” Another pause, and Aliez conceded, trying not to feel disappointed in the face of the calamity waiting for them. “One day. One day we’ll be able to carry our weight so you don’t have to.”

Super Corrupt Cryolite Location:E4 to C3 Action: Getting dragged along by Nikki and Crew! Page:32
Ohgodohgodohgodohgodoh---- Cryolite didn't ask questions as he was tugged along, his feet moved as his sleeve was pulled and when he finally had time to stop and realize *where* he was; to do more than just hold his breath and shiver for the insanity of it all. Oh, how his rabbit heart strived to beat from within his chest. He'd never expected anything so -- so -- sooo like this!!
Maybe Fulgurite had the right of it? Maybe powering up was for fools and token heros? He could've been like Matt, safe in bed...
If not for his friends, and his loves, and for Nikki. Who he looked to while saying nothing and wondered how in all the universe she could seem so impossibly calm and together.
Well, at least I'm with her, right?

A round, purple berry that was firm to the touch and smelled sweet; it had a soft skin and was roughly the size of a cherry tomato. - Saving in Bag in Subspace. A bracelet that demands to be worn; something about it compels you to keep on your person. It is simple silver but has a multi-faceted, raindrop shaped gemstone charm dangling from it. The teardrop shaped gemstone has a silver glint to it and might have appeared clear if it weren’t for the swirling white mist trapped inside. Energy hummed inside these crystals–harvested, stored. Waiting to be used. There is a familiarity about them, though it may be hard to place. The Negaverse might feel as if it is a strange summoning, a call to arms. -- Wearing It.

Tenoch had regrets, endless ones, but mostly? For the way things had gone down in the beginning, and all the ways he'd wished he'd followed the Commodore to the command console, and been closer to the others, and---
And so he was squeezing Nessa's hand one more time, before nodding in agreement with Vyn and the rest. This time? They'd do it all together instead of being scattered across a field fighting 'Order' for their supposed 'friends in the Negaverse' -- this was for his own self as much as it was the world at large and their people floating far beyond in space, to rectify a supposed failure he deeply felt.
We will succeed this time, and it will be the right kind of success. He assured himself. No matter the cost.

General Prehnite Location:E4 -- G9 Action: Time to go to G9 (or at least get out of this cluster!) Page:32
Anything else he'd been meaning to say, any conversation he'd yearned to finish; those words flickered, died, were silenced with a swiftness. Being turned inside out and spat into the abyss was not now, nor had it ever been in his many years a 'good time for all to have'.
They had barely landed before he was clambering to his feet and dragging Hatsya more firmly along; glancing for the others, those he could find between the flashes above and below, the glimpse of something massive whipping through the nebulous ether nearly faster than the eye could track.
Massive -- impossibly fast -- ********* --
"We need to move---" quickly, quickly, quickly his mind screamed for no other reason than that the feeling of standing still felt very much like inviting a death sentence. He was utterly lacking in his usual affability, his calm dismissal, as he turned with the rest away from being clustered up and easily snacked upon.
That, at least, was his mindset as Prehnite shifted with Actaea and the rest, watching the amassed crowd span out like gnats across an endless space; auras and sides suddenly seemed unimportant in the moment, no matter how loudly they screamed, they were no near as loud as the warning bells within his own mind against something so huge.
Larger than any greater youma --- larger than the sky -- a true world ending being.

General Aquamarine, sans cape, hair up. Page 2Page 8Page 22 Location: A7 Action: Going to the spot the spike takes him to shove the spike into the ground.
Aquamarine stumbled into Jet as the storm deposited them within a new realm.
A cursory glance around showed they hadn’t returned to the prison in which all this began, but had perhaps arrived within the storm itself. The floor beneath them seemed both solid and insubstantial, the sky above thick with clouds. He caught a glimpse of what he could only assume was the Calamitous Hollow—a scale too large to be believed. Aquamarine swallowed. He took a breath. He let no trace of unease creep into his expression.
The Queen was there. They had good numbers. They were prepared.
The spike wanted to be there. It called to him as it had when they’d found it in the prison. Aquamarine summoned it from subspace. It shined radiantly, a luminous beacon at the end of all things.
It urged him onward.
“This way,” he told Jet, and whoever else chose to follow. Seraphinite, surely, if only to keep Jet out of harm’s way (not that either of them had ever been as successful as they’d like). Aquamarine gave Akaganeite and Reidite a significant look but trusted they knew how to watch after themselves. They could follow or spread out, as long as they remained within sight. The rest—all those who’d joined them on the hill—could do as they pleased.
Aquamarine let the spike guide him. It took them through the crowd still loitering around the center and to the edge of the space. He drew to a stop and swallowed again, then summoned all his strength to drive the spike into the ground.

Mystras, Squire of Jupiter Location: I7 Action: Panicking and then going over to the Solaris Protection Squad
So this was space. Like, space space, not a Wonder that was technically on some distant planet but that still had normal feeling air and fancy statues and whatever. This was a weird empty space with ******** up gravity.
And it turned out that sky snake did not look very punchable.
Mystras's usual enthusiasm wore off for a second and she just stood there, blinking. Some of the people around seemed to have a plan, but still.
There was a decent chance they were all just about to die.
And while she was just standing there coming to terms with that fact, she saw Pendour dart off in one direction and most of the rest of the group dart off in another.
On one hand, she wanted to protect her sibling. On the other hand, Pendour had other friends who could maybe help her, and she probably wasn't gonna like seeing Mystras do what she could against the snake if it came down to it.
She swallowed and ran after Stromboli and the others, towards the winged senshi.
Page 8Page 19 Location: C8 Action: Following Ganymede following Laurelite.
As much as he hated having to approach the woman who nearly corrupted him, Valhalla followed Ganymede. He left Oberon and Sessrumnir with a small nod of reassurance. He hoped Alastor, Lucien, and Solaris would understand.
You don’t have to come with me, Ganymede told them. It was never a question if Valhalla would stay by his wife’s side or not.
His chest ached. It was as though he felt her hand plunging into his chest. Felt the way Chaos started taking hold of him. Changing him.
Changing Ganymede.
As the Chaos had flowed through him, something else had awakened within Ganymede, granting her a power she'd always had inside her, locked away.
Now they faced Laurelite again. Unlike when they’d crossed into Negaspace with Caedus’ help, Valhalla stood beside Ganymede with all of his magic and memories back. And more power from the Code that he hadn’t had before. Not in this lifetime, at least.
“A lot of your agents have been asking for help from us Senshi and Knights. Asking for information. Talking about how they’re worried for their families. Have you been floundering in the dark this whole time? Is that why you crawled out of your cave?”
He could see her smug smile, of course. And he knew she could see the anger in his eyes. He’d watched as she slaughtered so many without a second thought. And if they could keep her at least distracted from focusing her sights on anyone who might underestimate her, then that was what they’d do.

Character Name, Rank, and a link to their journalSuper senshi Vela Location: D10 Action: Moving to D10
Vela grabbed her legs and bent over when they were teleported to the eye of the storm, she had teleported before and it had never felt like that. She shook herself to make the horrible feeling go away. Then she looked around she saw what was going on so she headed over to where one of the spikes was being set up. She looked around to see who else was in the area. She didn't see anyone yet so she decided to wait to see if others decided to come to this spot.
She looked at the thing in the clouds wow they were so tiny compared to that thing. How the heck were they supposed to take out that thing? No wonder this was considered a world-ending event. She took her other hand and she rubbed the bracelet that she had gotten from the blue bag. She hoped it would serve to protect them from that thing, otherwise, this was going to turn into a graveyard very quickly. What hope would they have fighting that thing without magical help? Her embers couldn't possibly hurt that thing.
(Open for interaction all three)
Vela rubbed the back of her head looking around nervously well this was aquward but there were a lot of people here and the fate of the world was kinda on the line so she didn't think the negaverse was going to kill her today and she wasn't going back to the darkside cookies or no cookies. She looked around to see if there were any senshi or knights that she knew. She hadn't really made any friends when she was in the negaverse. She had made friends with order members which was why she had switched sides on the battlefield.
Vela looked at the sky and the bag that appeared what the heck? She opened the bag and read the note and she had read the database and figured out who he was well ok then. It seemed like this was a good thing. She didn't know the guy but well ok. She put on the bracelet and she put on the pin. She didn't know what the berry was for that made no sense and the note didn't mention what it was for so whatever. She closed the bag and ignored it for now. She looked around. Wondering if anyone would care she was here. She laughed. Everyone was too busy with the end of the world well good.

Vyn barely had time to consider what the Commodore said about the bracelet before lightning struck and they were spat somewhere else. He stumbled a few steps from the shock of it but regained his footing quickly, making a quick sweep of the area. The floor beneath them was solid enough; Vyn adjusted his feet, switching pressure between them to test the solidness of the ground. The sky drew more of his concern, thick with clouds and lit by near constant flashes of lightning.
Fear assailed him, but Vyn acknowledged it and shoved it away.
“We are Commanders,” he gently reminded Naeria—and himself—once he was sure she was steady, too. He couldn’t force a smile, but his voice was soft. “We wouldn’t have this honor if the Commodore didn’t believe in us. Believe in me and I will believe in you.”
Vyn followed the Commodore without question. Now that they were there, the nervous anticipation eased somewhat. Vyn had a duty. He had orders, and he would follow them. He stood guard with his blaster at the ready, forcing himself to take even breaths.
The brief peak of an enormous scale through the clouds sent Vyn’s heart into his throat. He swallowed it down.

Character Name, Rank, and a link to their journalOia Squire of the cosmos Location: E4 going to I4 Action: Doing to I4
Oia wasn't too bothered by the freaky teleport and the giant scaled thing. that gave her pause you know since that thing was the biggest thing she had ever seen in her life. She blinked one scale was as big as a bus, well she supposed that meant that there was no way they could miss. Now the question came: Would they be able to hurt it? Since they were literally bugs compared to that thing. This was totally crazy. She had tumbled through a portal once before she had woken to being a knight of the cosmos. Now she knew magical stuff. This was way weirder than she was expecting to see in her lifetime. Still it was either find a way to stop this thing or die trying. Then hope they all got a restart fresh in a new life. She sighed she had a hard life but she wouldn't trade it for a do over so she hoped they could win.

[Oia arrived to the summons and she looked around for anyone she knew but she hadn't noticed anyone as of yet. She looked up at the sky and she frowned this didn't seem good but ok. They had a lot of people here so she wasn't worried. All the factions appeared to be here so there was no way they were going to let the world down on something this important. She grabbed the bag when it appeared and she opened it to look at the stuff in the bag. She put on the bracelet and the pin. She smiled she liked the merchant a great deal he was a cool guy and helped her before. She put her hand in her pocket and felt her compass.

Morpheus noticed two others in the area he had chosen to go to after they were teleported he didn't greet them since this was not really a time to be greeting order members, besides there was a giant thing in this storm that could very well be the end of the world. So he had more pressing matters on his mind than being nice to strangers. He didn't really like people in general. He had his bird on his shoulder which was a comfort to him in this time of possible doom. He sighed this was not how he wanted to spend his time but none of them had much choice in the matter.
Jasper had just enough time to assure Lopezite that, no, the glitter didn’t hurt, then to scowl at the unpaid parking ticket and half-used stickers he found tucked into the bottom of the bag before a violent wind blew them forward. He released the parking ticket to be carried away on the wind but sent the stickers into subspace with every intention of sticking them to random surfaces in Bloodstone’s office.
He barely kept his feet beneath them. Lightning struck and they were wrenched through space, twisted around and compressed through hot and cold before landing whole but a bit unsettled. Jasper still had a hand on Kamacite’s arm. He would release him only when Kamacite no longer seemed to be at risk of falling over.
“This place…” he began, but had no words to describe it either.
The air felt heavy. Expectant, almost. Jasper suppressed a shiver.
“Maybe we should spread out our numbers,” he said, watching where others tread before choosing a direction.
Page 1, Page 8, Page 19 Location: A7 Action: Following Aquamarine. Preparing for battle.
The lightning picked up. It was a familiar feeling. He tried to repress a grin when Benitoite told him about Almadel’s future vacation home, but didn’t quite manage it. The casual tone from Ashanite drew a glance from Jet, but his eyes only lingered on the General long enough for Queen Laurelite to take the field.
“You don’t want to have some fun?” he asked Ashanite, but had to brace himself as they were pulled from Destiny City. From Earth.
Instinctively, he reached out a hand for Aquamarine, ready to steady him in case he was jostled too much. Once Aquamarine righted himself, Jet took a moment to look around. He made sure Seraphinite was okay, although he doubted he would have to worry about the man being knocked over by a little space travel.
“You’re good?” he asked the others around them, specifically Generals Benitoite and Ashanite, since they had their subordinates with them. He could see the giant serpent in the sky, could feel a welling of dread within him.
But the Queen was there. And they were all there. They hadn’t spent weeks searching for answers about how to save Earth and just decide to give up because the monster was gigantic.
Seraphinite received a nod as well, although Jet didn’t think he had to speak to him out loud for him to know he was making sure he’d be good to fight.
“Let’s take our places then,” he nodded to them. He didn’t expect them to join him and Aquamarine, but he would welcome them, or anyone else who did.
As Aquamarine made his way to where the spike called him, Jet followed him. He very purposefully did not draw his weapon yet, but his hand twitched with anticipation.
Location: Moving from E5 to C5 Action: Off to wrangle a cheeb with Ilmare
She managed to catch sight of Solaris again, and was again about to move toward her when it happened.
By the time her feet felt like they were back on solid ground, Ekstrom thought it was nothing short of a miracle that she managed to keep down whatever was in her stomach. Disorienting felt like an understatement, though it dwindled down into insignificance when she got a good look at the surroundings. She felt suddenly and peculiarly small as she tried to process it all…
Though now was probably not the greatest time for some kind of existential crisis relating to their efforts.
She looked around again, only then realizing that she'd been separated from Ashur and the other Uranus Knight. Before she could even start looking, though, a familiar voice caught her attention, and she glanced toward it and immediately perked up at the sight of the senshi.
Senshis, actually. And a Mauvian, it looked like. Quickly, she made her way over.
"Ilmare!" she said, suddenly feeling like she very desperately wanted to hug her since…well. If not now, when? And what if the world came to an end? What then?
Still, she bit that back and glanced toward the two she was keeping very close to her. And understandably so–a chibi senshi should not have answered the summons. Or if they had, they should have been sent immediately elsewhere, whether that was home, someone else's Homeworld or Wonder, or even the Moon if it was possible. But certainly not here.
"Hi, I'm Ekstrom," she briefly introduced herself with as much of a smile she could muster given the situation, then looked back to Ilmare. "If I'm thinking what you're thinking, then we've gotta get them somewhere safer. Which I think might be with the hoard of Order folks that are here. We just…gotta find them."
