Corrupt Eternal Hestia
location: a4
action: assisting Faustite, burning her hand on him because ofc, ofc she would

Bracing herself, with everything else outside of the team fading back, Hestia took on the shared burden of the spike. Seeing the intensity of its demand on him, clear even through the fire that made up his current form, she wordlessly placed a hand on his back and let it burn.

Knight Halle of Lysithea
location: moving from e8 to g8 (entire group moved with permission)
actions: deciding to go along with Santa Maria's curiousity regarding the scale and move further away from the worst thing he'd ever felt
group: Santa Maria Novella, Spasskaya, Lisse, Halle, Almere, Mechelen, Tikal

It was one things to know that there was an evil, corrupted power that shared the world with them and was their enemy. It was one thing to have a massive world eating creature target your world. But somehow it was a very different, very eye-opening moment, to realize that the "evil enemy" was more like a massive, gaping maw of darkness that was all too near him at possibly all times. As he and his loved ones slept, as they went to school, even as they bravely patrolled the night with purpose and determination to undermine that enemy's efforts...

Her mouth opened wider, and wider still.

They would have to leave Earth altogether, wouldn't they?

Santa Maria's request came at just the right moment to shake Halle back into their present threat, and he was more than glad for it. "Let's go toward that one, and further away from...her." There were some weird chaos signatures nearby, but at least they weren't....

Her.

Bifrost, Transcendant Knight of Chronos
Location: E1
Action: Thinking, holding, good grief that's a big snake

The roiling wave of Chaos that followed Laurelite's walk into the air slammed into her, setting her skin on fire and her blood frozen at the same time. It had been so many years since Bifrost had seen the true power that Metallia and the Negaverse wielded that the display caught her off guard. That the Queen had that much power at her disposal, on a whim, on a flick of her wrist--

The lack of Cosmos or a manifestation of the Code or any sort of powerful support from Order's side of things was infinitely more noticeable.

The blast hit the serpent and it shrunk, a little, and shed scales from the impact sight. A ripple of energy surged above them, catching the giant car sized scales before they hit the force they were standing on. Then, her eyes caught the last spike, the one that in theory would go where she was standing, lodged into the beast's tail.

When the super senshi ran up, she gave a smile and a nod. "The last spike probably goes here, and it's buried in that thing's tail. If we can activate it like the others are doing, I think we can close the loop." There was no greeting, no reassurance they'd get out of this. The serpent was still too far out to do anything that could even grab the spike but...

"We just need a way to get it down here."

Almere, Squire of Lysithea
Location: G8
Action: Following the group to try to examine a scale.

She'd thought that they were there to fight the massive snake, and maybe they were, but the snake wasn't evil. Maybe it was a monster, but it wasn't a villain.

Not like that woman.

She wasn't hurt or anything, by the cannon, but it still felt wrong. In her chest. Later, she'd think up metaphors about it. Right now, she wanted to throw up. And she wasn't all that sure how much she could do either about the snake or the queen.

Santa Maria Novella had the right idea, probably. She scurried after the group, watching for more falling scales.

Maya - Page of Ganymede
Location: G8
Action: Following Halle, not particularly interested in the scale, but would like to be further from the mad Queen.

The hair on her arms stood on end from the electric-charged air, but it was the Chaos energy that nearly brought Maya to her knees; it rolled over her skin like waves of acid. The sensation made her heart twist, stomach churn, and starseed feel like it was on fire.

She’d made a joke earlier about her weapon’s usefulness, trying to mask the unease she felt about answering the Summons, but now there was no room for humor. The weight of it hit hard when she realized that the truth of the matter was she had no real way of contributing to this fight and would only be in the way.

Overwhelmed by how quickly the battle was escalating, the appearance of the dome, and the crash of falling debris. Maya didn’t really register what was going on or what everyone else was reacting to, only that the group was starting to move away from the teal-haired woman and the impossible energy she wielded against the Calamitous Hollow.

Without a word, Maya fell in step behind Halle, pressing the palm of her hand against he chest to calm her racing heart

Corporal Caelyna
Location: F3
Action: Glaring at Andronicus, accepting Ida's offer of energy and draining her, giving the Source Stone to Lyndin

They had done this.

Caelyna couldn't help but feel a swell of pride in her chest, even with the massive show of power from the Negaverse's Queen. They had all come together to collect energy, and with it, Lyndin had built a shield to keep them all safe.

And there were others, coming over. Some she recognized. Oberon was swiftly handled by Vyn, and even though Lyndin invited him to give over the Source Stone, she still watched him warily. The blue-haired Senshi (Kerberos), she remembered, he had helped before, so she was inclined to trust him and woman in purple (Ida) who was with him—

And then there was Andronicus.

Caelyna fixed her with a frosty stare.

“You kill one of our Commanders,” she said, coldly, as if Cydfae’s bloody fall wasn’t playing in her mind (as if Cydfae’s fall didn’t feature in her nightmares nearly as frequently as Velyria’s), “and then come to offer us aid as if nothing is wrong?” She didn’t do anything to stop it, because in truth energy was energy and it was the Commodore's right to accept or deny offered help, but she did make a bit of a show of turning to Ida and extending her Source Stone.

“Thank you,” she said, in a much more gentle, welcoming way. She was careful about how much they took—these Senshi would likely need their strength for the battle ahead—but when it was done, she turned to offer the stone to Lyndin.

Basiluzzo, transcended Knight of Uranus
Location: E4
Action: checking on Encke and the other people around them

When the chaos swept the field, Basiluzzo tried to reach out to his wonder, to pull its protection around him like a thick blanket. To his horror and dismay, he felt nothing at all. He tried again, and again, with increasing desperation, but was met with nothing each time.

No, not nothing. Not precisely. More like a static feeling, like when a foot falls asleep. It was lethargic, slow and quiet and so distant he almost missed it when his wonder answered him. But even when it answered him, there was no blanket of protection against the chaos buffeting him. It couldn't help, not with the connection as weak as it was.

He swore audibly, stepping closer to Encke and Viatrix. He would just have to ride this out until it was over. It couldn't last forever, right?

Right?

Right. And as soon as it began to fade, Basiluzzo looked at everyone around him. "Everyone alright?"

Eternal Sailor Victoria, Senshi of Glory : Journal
Location: A7
Action: In awe of Laurelite's power, debating if it was appropriate for introductions...

Victoria watched their Queen as she rained chaos on the hollow and how it shrunk. It was truly an impressive sight to behold. When it was finished he looked around at those in the square with him; after choosing to follow Ashanite here. He honestly didn't know any of them and wasn't sure if introductions were appropriate right now. He did give a nod towards Jet recognizing the power signature of a General King. If asked though he'd introduce himself otherwise.... "Soooo should we talk about a plan?" Yes... that would do.

Lucien - Cat Form

The Chaos had been nearly crippling. Whatever the Negaverse was capable of, Lucien hadn’t been expecting that. Nor had he expected the way it felt as though his body was being crushed by the proximity to Laurelite alone.

He remained on Alastor’s shoulder as he moved to place himself between Laurelite and Sessrumnir, while the Knight held Ganymede back from doing anything she would regret. He wanted to tell Alastor to back up, to start moving away from this vile woman, whose very aura nauseated him.

Lucien’s fur instinctively raised along his back, his already large tail fluffing up with unease.

Sailor Fang, Transcended Eternal Senshi of Chrysocyon
Action: eating a slice of snake scale, following Ida & Kerberos to the Vanguard
Location: F3

Fang had intended on following Ida to help the nasty little Negaverse General, but then she veered off and he paused for a moment, confused and unsure. He didn't want to be near any Chaos people by himself. He could hold his own much of the time, but he couldn't shake the feeling someone might do something, might take advantage in this horrible situation they were all in.

So instead, he hurried off after her. Partway there, he stopped to pick up a piece of the snake's scales. One bit that had shattered and landed here. He considered it for a long moment, then bit at it carefully. Discovering it was, indeed, chewable, and didn't have a horrible taste, he shoved it in his mouth and finished coming over to where Ida and Kerberos had gone, jumping when Oberon got shot.

He hung back again, but this time with a calculating eye, ready to fight, but the leader of these purple aliens seemed to... accept that Ida and Kerb and Oberon wanted to help.

He wanted to help, too, if he could, but the scale piece in his mouth shifted and reminded him it was there, so he finished chewing and swallowing, wondering what effects it might have. At least this thing was able to feel pain. If it could be eaten, it could be killed. And Fang wanted nothing more than to ensure the snake monster's death. If he could get a meal out of it, too, all the better.

Not that eating the snake would be necessary, of course. Home-on-Earth had plenty of food. But eating the so-called World Eater? Well, that was just... what would be the word Murikabushi would use... "classic ironing"? The idea thrilled him, anyway.

The Vanguard
baby boy is here but he's eaten something weird... feel free to interact with him if you like!

Transended Princess Ida
Roll: -
Location: F3
Action: Not happy about all the hostility, putting Illyria behind her, and then giving energy to Naeria. Requesting more stones for energy.

Tension made Ida's shoulders tight as she stood beside Kerberos, her eyes on Lyndin and not his bristling entourage. She felt the hairs along the back of her neck rise as what appeared to be a gun was aimed her way and she tightened her grip around Illyria's hand, giving her a gentle tug towards her.

Well. What had she expected, really? That they'd just welcome them in with open arms? It was hard to remember that they didn't know her and had no reason to trust her. They didn't know that she'd been one of those who had helped, originally, or that she'd never done anything to any of their kind before. They didn't know that she could have left them here to deal with their machine on their own and spent her time and energy protecting her people instead. She had to remember that giving them grace could win her more good will than not.

But if they hurt Illyria, or Kerberos for that matter... That shield of theirs was going to be put to the test.

Others were arriving, quite possibly taking a cue from their presence. A beautiful knight she didn't know and another senshi, who drew the gun away from Ida. She gasped as he was shot and fell to his knees, shocked and concerned. He was still up, still speaking, but now things had gone from just tense and wary to actively aggressive. This time, Ida dragged Illyria back, stepping forward enough to put herself in front of her and mantled her wings, covering her bonded from view of that damned gun.

"Stay behind me." Ida demanded tightly, her gaze on the one with the gun (Vyn) now. Gods, this was going downhill fast. She had to keep reminding herself that powering this machine had nothing to do with these people and everything to do with protecting all of them. Kerberos trusted them, or their leader at least, but... he trusted some people Ida would have called questionable at best. Was this all a mistake?

There was one of the group (Naeria) who seemed willing to try and bridge the tension, stepping toward's Ida with her source stone. The senshi reluctantly took her eyes away from the threat to study her, looking up her tall frame. She had a full foot on Ida, but most of them did, really. From the other side of Kerberos, Ida heard Lyndin ask his people to stand down and accept their help. It eased the tension inside of her, but only somewhat. Ida forced herself to take a deep breath and let it out slowly, forcing her muscles to unlock and her grip around Illyria's wrist to loosen.

Calm. Or as much calm as could be expected, considering their surroundings. A more careful survey of the woman before her, holding out a stone.

"My name is Ida." She said, finally reaching out to place her fingers on it. She kept her voice light, calm. The soothing voice she'd cultivated for times at the hospital when everything was chaos and blood, but someone needed to hear a voice like that. "I'm the senshi of Orchids. If you have more stones, please bring them. I have a lot of energy I can share."

How much did any of them know, about how royals and transcendeds worked? Ida wasn't entirely sure if one stone could hold all the energy she could give, but she'd probably find out fairly quickly. Reaching inside, to that place where she felt the warmth of her world, patient and waiting, Ida released the gate that held it back, letting it flood into her like liquid sunshine. it swelled and pooled, and then streamed down her glowing arm to her fingertips, pouring into the source stone that greedily drank it up.

Calm. Peace. We are trying to work together. They're scared, just like I am. Caedus asked me to offer them my help. Nothing can start, if someone doesn't make the first step. And the next. And each after that.

Another woman stepped forward, blue instead of purple this time, and offered another stone as requested. Killed one of their commanders? Dark eyes slid to the knight she had spoken to as Ida reached out her other hand to this new Vanguard, wondering about the story there. Hmm... more reason, then, why things were so hostile... and potentially about to get worse.

The energy sharing was... draining, of course, but she was a deep well.

"Anyone else with stones?" She called.

Corrupt Eternal Fafnir
Location: A4
Action: Having himself a personal moment, and then moving to the Queen's space for his own dubious safety.

Someone was not happy about Laurelite. Fafnir thought it was maybe Ganymede? And the knight, who held Laurelite's scythe like a convenient umbrella stand. Valhalla? He'd seen them in the database, like he'd so many others. Princess and Knight together... fit the description at least. The other knight he didn't know, but it didn't really matter at the moment. They definitely all had bigger things to worry about than who was who. He could always rectify that later, right?

There were others there, but before he could really get a good look, Fafnir felt a familiar tug and could have wept as he seized it with two mental hands and threw himself into the summoning. Faustite.

He landed on the stone beside the group of familiar faces, though Faustite was a creature of fire rather than his familiar pale skin and ember eyes. The senshi cast about for his brother and felt a wash of relief when he appeared with the summons, Albite behind him. Okay, good. Everyone is here, or near enough. Enough that mattered, to him.

Connection?

"What? You didn't mention a connection with that... thing. Angry and hungry isn't exactly new information, was there anything else? Anything helpful?"

He really tried to keep the sharpness out of his voice, but circumstances were pushing Fafnir to limits of his ability to keep his masks in place.

Sailor Cernunnos
Roll: 40
Location: C6
Action: Dragging Procyon over to Hati and Skoll, as people he knows.

Ida and Illyria... As if Cernunnos was supposed to ******** know who that was when he'd never met them!

"Right... pair of girls. In a sea of people. Easy." He muttered, casting around him. There were a lot of girls, actually. A lot of people in general, and sometimes, it wasn't actually all that easy to tell who was a girl and who wasn't, considering how few of them sported antlers.

But there! There was Hati! ******** these people Procyon wanted, Cernunnos knew these ones, and knew they would at least try to keep the pair of them safe until they could find the ones the other senshi wanted to find.

"HATI!" Cernunnos called as he dragged Procyon along behind him, heading for his housemate and perpetual rescuer.

General Ashanite
Location: A7
Action: Moving to guard Aquamarine and the spike!

Ashanite was, perhaps notably, not particularly talkative. His eyes were, for a long moment, turned on Laurelite, and he felt a rush of pride and delight, seeing the result of all their hard work.

And there was a twinge of recognition in the back of his head.

Oh. What a glorious show of power. What a glorious use of the technology the Vanguard had unknowingly given them, if he was right. He couldn’t be certain, of course, not without getting a look at the actual device, which seemed unlikely—but he remembered the Deep Space Assault he, Jet, and Aquamarine had deployed on Ganymede’s annoying friend in the dancer outfit. It hadn’t worked the way they’d hoped, but he liked to hope it had done some damage anyway.

And if this was what he thought it was? Spectacular.

His eyes flicked to Aquamarine, took in the group that had arrived, and then he turned his attention to the beast in the sky. To the spike in its tail. Familiar.

There it was. The final, missing piece.

He moved, just a little, to position himself between Aquamarine and the rest of the field. He hoped no one was stupid enough to interfere. But hope hadn't exactly gotten him very far. Cold pragmatism had always given him far better results. And cold pragmatism said to prepare for any kind of possibility, be it reckless stupidity or some unknown ability of the Calamitous Hollow's.

“The plan,” he said, in answer to Victoria, “is to guard Aquamarine and that spike. We can’t let anyone interfere. You’d hope the idiots on the other side would have the self-preservation not to, but one never knows what stupid choices other people will make. And we absolutely don't know what that thing is capable of.”

He gestured with his weapon towards the snake.

“And look. It's getting smaller. Which means, eventually, we’ll be able to hit it. So when that moment comes, be ready. When we can, we shoot for the sky and bring. It. Down.

There was no other choice.

Princess Cybele
Location: E5
Action: Looking for a way to get a clear shot at the snake.

Cybele was no stranger to the brush of raw Chaos against her starseed. She hated it, of course, but she was able to brace her teeth against it. This wasn't as bad as the last time she'd witnessed Laurelite in battle. Maybe the fact that she'd finally managed to Transcend was helping a bit.

Maybe Laurelite simply wasn't trying that hard. There was the massive snake to focus on, after all. Perhaps Cybele should have been grateful that she was using Metallia's power to strike out at their mutual enemy.

However, Cybele refused to give that woman any gratitude. She couldn't see well, but she knew that Ganymede and some of the others were over there. She hoped they managed to stab her.

She thought about going to help, but she knew that Siegfried at least would follow her, and likely most of the knights as well. There were Pages here who saw her as their fearless Princess. She couldn't put them into danger like that.

Better to focus on the danger that none of them had any choice about. She glanced back skyward. "That lightning rod in the tail," she murmured. "It's like the others."

It was still so high up, though.

She bit her lip, then turned to the group, a bit more determination in her eyes than before. "I need a better shot," she said. A way upward, probably, unless there was a way to lure it down. But maybe someone here had the answer to helping her be stronger. Some others had approached the group, and she spoke to them as well. "Does anyone here have strengthening magic of any kind?"
