Hobbies:Parkour & Freerunning - Since he doesn't really have much choice in his methods of transportation, Leiko will make due with walking and running, but he much prefers to practice parkour and freerunning when he can. Due to his clumsiness, he often falls, but he also uses the practices to develop his coordination, balance, and total-body strength. The last is especially significant to him because he's rather slight of build and of a somewhat short stature for a male of his age. With parkour being more practical, he uses it to escape danger and threats as fast and effectively as possible. When he has time, he works on the more flashy, aesthetically-pleasing techniques of freerunning to look cooler and attract attention of random passerby.
Breakdancing - Another attention-seeking hobby of Leiko's which he has fun burning a lot of his excess energy with is breakdancing. With music and movement to attract a crowd or gain favor with an already-existing one, he can easily stave off loneliness and boredom. It doesn't hurt that occasionally people will give him money for his performances, either. Just like his parkour and freerunning, Leiko finds that breakdancing keeps him active and allows him to develop a lot of physical abilities. It also helps him meet new people and break the ice with them if they're willing to talk.
Virtues:Lighthearted - No matter the situation, Leiko always tries to keep a bright, cheerful smile on his face and maintain a positive, upbeat attitude. That doesn't mean he doesn't get scared, nervous, or sad any less often than anyone else, but he tries his best not to show it or to bring anyone else down with such feelings. Despite the hardships he's had to endure growing up, he's very easygoing, doesn't hold grudges, and doesn't sweat the small stuff (though he tends to put a lot in the category of 'small stuff'). The young man is very free-spirited, laid-back, and goes with the flow, happy to go along with whatever others want to do as long as he's not left alone.
Affectionate - This young man is not shy in the least when it comes to showing affection and he has a lot to share. He loves hugging, clinging, and cuddling even with people he doesn't even know. He will talk to anyone who crosses his path and follow people around persistently. Leiko has a very hard time with being alone and would rather surround himself with strangers any day. He does his best to be friendly and pleasant to talk to even if not everyone wants to get close to or touch a homeless person such as himself.
Appreciative - He may rely on other people's charity and goodwill a great deal, but that doesn't mean he takes it for granted. He does his best to show his gratitude any way he can because he feels it's very important that people know how much their efforts mean to him. If he's grateful for someone or something, he will actually go out of his way to try to make it up to them or repay them in whatever way he is able. Leiko doesn't usually spend his time pining for stuff or wanting things, but he makes sure to cherish what he has because he knows only too well that what he has one day can be gone the next.
Enduring - Because he doesn't get angry at people and usually just goes along with whatever they say, Leiko might seem the sort to let others trample all over him. However, he's got a hardy spirit and is tougher than his happy-go-lucky, childish, superficial attitude makes him out to be. Though there isn't much he isn't willing to do or endure, as desperate as he can get, he still maintains enough personal dignity to continue living without shame or self-pity. He may allow himself to get walked all over, but like blades of grass that spring back up after being stepped on, he refuses to be crushed. As a survivor, he won't let anyone or anything keep him down for long.
Flaws:Dependent - Leiko gets lonely easily and is not very good at taking care of or sticking up for himself. He tends to depend on the charity of others for almost everything. This means he can get pretty desperate and be rather shameless when it comes to doing whatever he needs to do to survive. He will go along with anyone who will feed him or offer him a place to stay and is too desperate to be picky or cautious. He doesn't stay too long at homeless shelters because other people tend to avoid them like the plague and he can't stand being alone.
Useless - Though he's tried once or twice before, this young man cannot keep a job for very long. He struggled through public school, he's clumsy, and he's difficult to teach because he's easily distracted and scatter-brained, so there's very little he knows how to do competently. Since he has depended on the charity of others for most of his life, he hasn't bothered learning how to do much for himself because he doesn't really have the motivation to do so. He's become somewhat lazy and complacent with his lot in life, little as it is.
Frivolous - Leiko doesn't seem able to be serious in most situations, taking everything lightly and brushing off concerns. Money, for example, is something he has a hard time with because when he manages to obtain some, he tends to spend extravagantly. This is because he doesn't really have a sense of its value and it doesn't occur to him to save so he ends up impulsively splurging. He deflects subjects that are too heavy and prefers to act like life is a breeze. This doesn't mean he's unaware that there are important things to consider, but conflict and other circumstances that cause stress or tension are not his strong suit, so he avoids them as best he can to keep them from weighing him down. Because he tends to behave so superficially, he has a childish and irresponsible demeanor.
Reticent - With a nearly constant, carefree smile on his face, Leiko has trouble telling people if something is wrong. He has trouble expressing serious feelings to others because he gets very embarrassed and has high anxiety even attempting to do so. He rarely expresses sadness toward others and almost never expresses anger. Having depended on others all his life, he feels he has no right to complain about the ways of the world or fairness, especially because he hasn't done much to change his lifestyle. He may be disappointed or upset with people or situations sometimes, but he isn't the sort to mention it and instead prefers to keep such feelings to himself, causing him to bottle his emotions because he believes that's just the way things are and he has no choice but to accept it.
