gaia_crown BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF CHARACTER Of middling height and slim build with white-blonde hair , fair skin, and light blue eyes, Johan doesn't make for an intimidating fighter. However, he is extremely dedicated to the cause. He spends much of his time training, or seeking knowledge on the enemy. His considers the defeat of the shadowlings to be his purpose in life, but this concentration can blind him to how he treats those he's meant to protect. He needs someone to remind him about the greater picture, and was most likely convinced to join the White/Gold Faction so their ideals could balance his stern, sometimes fatalistic demeanor. Knight Promo Thread

Johan received a meticulous glaive. It is chained. You feel like for some reason it is gender neutral in nature.

The glaive fit perfectly in his hand. It was warm to the touch, and he half-expected it to start breathing. As though he was holding a living creature instead of an inanimate object. So this was a real Knight's weapon.

It was surprisingly plain, but every line of the weapon was clean and precise, save for where the haft had been wound with chains. Johan traced the padlock and the inset keyhole with a finger. He didn't dare do the same with the blade. It looked sharp enough to cut a feather from the air.

Experimentally, he moved the glaive through the most basic of forms, testing the weight and balance. The glaive almost seemed to guide him, slicing through the air in great, slow arcs. He expected to miss the shaft when he switched hands, but the weapon seemed to anticipate the movement, it was there, waiting for him.

Johan picked up speed, repeating the forms over and over until the glaive was a blur through the air around him. He was at the center of a vortex. Securing his grip on the handle, he ended the form with a sudden, vicious lunge at an imaginary foe in front of him. Breathing hard from the exertion, Johan returned the glaive to a relaxed position.

It was very promising. With practice, this weapon would be akin to a force of nature loose on the battlefield. That thought brought a word, unbidden, to his mind. Johan thought if fit the glaive very well indeed.
