Percival seems shocked, almost hurt as you engage and attack him. "If this is how it is, then it is how it will be." Resigned to his fate, he strikes back, attempting to block your attack, more than cause actual harm. "Sometimes youth's greatest weakness is its inexperience and folly."

Seeing the shocked expression on Percival cut Pokerus to the core, and she almost backed away. Almost.
She stood her ground though. Out of the three, she figured he would be the most reasonable.
I'm not here to fight! "She called out, hands splayed to show she had not drawn her weapon. "I'm here to ask you to stop this insanity! Please! Aren't we all on the same side?! What will this fighting solve?"

Johan was relieved to see that the brown-haired Knight Apprentice had approached Percival for the same reason he had. He also lifted his hands away from his weapon, not wanting her to misinterpret his intentions.
"Sir Percival, the Great King needs all of his Knights! You must stop this!" he called out, adding his voice to hers. "I don't agree with Gawain's plans, but doesn't he speak truth when he says that every weapon counts?"

Noah held back, unwilling to attack a Great Knight. Maybe they wouldn't have to, too. Maybe they could still convince him. He moved toward the place where the Knights were fighting, keeping a distance. Would it distract them too much? But he had to risk it. "Sir Percival," he called. "We can't wait for the Great King to come back. We have to do something. What else can we do to keep them from swarming the castle?"

While these three knights opted not to attack, some of the more vicious still swung out, eyes filled with their own honour and glory. While turning to listen to Pokerus, Percival took a direct swing to his exposed side, grunting and quickly moving out of furthur harm. He looked like a battered old wolf, alone and unwilling to go down despite all odds.
"I am trying to do something!" He roared to Noah. He threw another attacking knight off balance, swaying slightly from blood loss as he looked at Johan. "If we must stop this madness, what will you have me do then, stop Morgan or Gawain first?

Piper was gasping by the time she found her way even remotely close to Percival. Knights of all colors were throwing themselves at him, and while she wasn't beholden as an Eagle, she still remembered the grizzled man's question: What is the difference between a knight and a knight-apprentice? Back then she had thought it was just a matter of power and luck, but now...now she knew too that the courage to act when the situation was growing dire was also an important quality.
She swallowed back her rising nerves. "Th-There's no-one left to stop, sir!" Piper stammered, cursing under her breath and then steeling herself better. "The gate and the mirror are together! What...what can we do except stop fighting each other and regroup for whatever's outside?" She jammed a thumb back at the joined objects. "A-And, um, why's it turning all shadowy? What's going to happen, Sir Percival?"

"You are a knight it is your role," Percival echoed, "You fight and-"
- It was at that point that he turned to look at the mirror behind him. It showed a brief reflection for a glimpse of a moment to everyone. In it everything was the same except for one small detail. A sword was plunged right into his chest.
"You fight-" he repeated, "and, you, protect and-"
- He clutched at his head with his free hand, staggering, confused.

Kostya fired on Percival from afar, lip curled. It missed, because of course it did.
"We fight," he called from above, jumping down to where the others were, grim-faced. "That much is true. But fighting is not enough. We need more. To retain the status quo is a fool's game."

Watching everyone attack Percival was painful, and she couldn't understand how everyone could turn on him like this. She could see he had been weakened severely with the many injures he had sustained, and wondered just how much longer he could hold out.
Suddenly she could see his reflection in the mirror, but there was something strange about it. Why was a sword through his-
"Sir Percival!" She shouted, running towards the stricken knight. A arrow flew past and nearly struck him, and this was the last straw for her.
She spun to face the attacker, standing in front of Percival with her sword drawn.
"STAY AWAY FROM HIM!"

The image of Percival run through made Piper gasp. What black magic was this that could drive even the Great Knights to go mad (as it seemed Morgan and Gawain were), and even stop the hardiest defender in Camelot? What chance did they have?
What were they supposed to do?
Someone was defending Percival--maybe she should help. Should she? What if the blue knight started to attack them too, though?
"Sir Percival, s-sir, are you okay?" She didn't edge closer in case the long-haired girl thought she would attack too. "D-Do you want one of us to treat your injuries...?"

"But the gate and the mirror have been brought together - there's no more reason to fight your allies over it! It's been done! If we fight each other, we're doing the shadows' work for them," Noah pleaded.
The other knight-apprentices were moving to defend Percival from other outside attacks. Noah held back, uncertain. He'd probably be in the way. His eyes kept returning to the mirror, drawn back in spite of his efforts to focus. It bled darkness, and the glimpse of the Great Knight run through with a sword horrified him. What would he see if he looked into it? Had they all made a mistake in allowing the gate and the mirror to come together? Noah was very much afraid that they had.

Camilla had been fully intent on attacking Percival she approached him with blades drawn in her usual battle stance but as she listened to his words and noticed that more chose to protect him instead of attack him unlike Gawain and Morgan she started having doubts... And it was after seeing that startling reflection in the mirror that she no longer wished to attack Percival
She gasps as the reflection shows him run through! His sudden slurred speech and confused manner also concerned her "Sir Percival..." she says softly in concern as she quickly sheaths her blades and moves to his side it was in that moment that she realized she had not only been a fool to even consider attacking a Great Knight but she had also almost disgraced herself as a Gold Knight! She almost went against the Knight's code and it was a Gold's duty to uphold the code to the letter! Yes following a code blindly was foolish but she had no excusable reason to break it this time... Fighting amongst themselves is what the enemy wanted and she wouldn't indulge them!
However before she could get too concerned for Percival a guard summoned her out to the corridor "But..." she says softly unsure if she should follow but his expression was demanding and so finally she looks to the Great Knight with concern then leaves to follow the guard
