[MOVING THE GATE: TOTAL MOVEMENT = 55
(Action 1/3)
[Enter Wrath

He was quick to follow, even if he had no idea where they were going. His ribs still ached, among other parts of his body as well, but he was determined not to be left behind. Other, personal feelings and questions were shoved to the back of his mind for now. For once, it could wait. For once, he was going to use his head and ignore his heart.

In the treasure room, however, using his head was proving to be disastrous. He was not equipped nor prepared to deal with the sudden barrage of information being thrown at him from all directions. Morgan wanted one thing, Percival wanted another, and still, Gawain seemed to have other ideas entirely. When their disagreement came to a sudden climax with a need to bare arms upon each other, Wrath became greatly confused. What was he to do? What choice was he to make?

His head now ached as much as the rest of him, and he closed his eyes as he attempted to block out the sound to concentrate on what his own choice would be. What should he do? What if he made the wrong decision?

And that's when he decided, screw thinking, he was never good at it anyways. He needed to follow his gut, which told him to do what Morgan wished. He needed to move the gate to the mirror, and quickly, before the others could destroy it!

Eyes opened and narrowed, Wrath moved forward to slam his weight again the gate, to push it closer to the mirror.

[MOVING THE GATE: TOTAL MOVEMENT = 60]
(Action 1/3)
[Enter Damien]

It was a room filled with trinkets and baubles of shiny gold and translucent colored gems that littered everywhere. It was a grand treasure room fir for a king that Damien could only conclude upon, it being the kingdoms treasure vault where the trio of knights began to argue on the course of action. There was not much land to fall back on, with the bridge broken and their options for escape limited, it was not the time for a falling out among the knights of seven. It was alarming to see them at odds and at sword point with one another, and did nothing to help them, the apprentices. This was one side of the battlefield imploding on itself, self destructing.

The knights had made their points and Damien could see that that they all wanted to save Camelot, just had different view on the course of action to do so. The direct usage or the breaking of the mirror that currently stopped the monsters from spawning inside seemed foolhardy to him, and opted for the chance to move the gate into proper position.

He would rather take an action than stand aside neutral and wait for absolution to come.

ATTACKING THE GATE: - GATE HP: 61

He at least wasn't the only one working against the gate. Somehow, combining the gate and the mirror would allow this to happen. If they destroyed one, it should stop the plan. At least for the time being. Shun took a quick look around to make sure no one else was going to try and stop him. Once that was done, he took another swing.

[Entering]

Johan, having been in the Shelter at the time Percival made his entrance and startling announcement, had accompanied the Blue Knight as he made his way down through the castle to a room Johan hadn't known existed. Within, he saw some of the Knight-Apprentices alongside whom he'd fought in the Courtyard. Morgan and Gawain were also there.

As he struggled to absorb and process the sudden flood of information coming from the three, they attacked each other, and it seemed that each Knight was willing to kill to carry out their plan for the gate. Defend it, use it, destroy it.

He had no idea who to believe, but Percival was the only one who still proclaimed loyalty to the Great King. Morgan seemed to wish to rule instead, and Gawain apparently had little respect for the man to whom he'd sworn his staff.

If for only that reason, Johan sided with Percival's view in this, but it seemed Percival himself had forgotten himself in the heat of the argument.

They'd said themselves, that they barely had enough weapons to fight the Sidhe back. What if they managed to kill one another? Even a single Great Knight lost would mean doom.

Johan ran towards where Percival struggled with Gawain and Morgan, to defend him or try and talk sense into him. Anything he could do to stop this madness.

[ JACK HAS BEEN CHALLENGE ]

Chel's eyes were dark when Jack approached. She wasn't necessarily opposed to talking, but she was trying to make an ends to a means- she was trying to save them all.

"What are you talkin' about?" Chel said warily. In some strange way, Chel was very tunnel visioned about the whole thing. She'd rather take one action and have it fulfilled and then deal with the consequences rather than this faff about the bushes about what to do.

She just wanted safety and something to be concrete instead of this blurred mess. "

[MOVING THE GATE: TOTAL MOVEMENT = 68]

[Enter Uru]

The interaction between Knight Sir Percival and Knight Sir Lancelot, something was going on within the castle with the other Great Knights. Uru stood wrapping his wounds - mostly to prevent himself from bleeding on everyone or worsening them - he saw the frustration from Sir Percival as he ordered the knight-apprentices present at the Court Yard to follow him. Getting to his feet, he moved following the Great Knight through the castle. It was when the pace began to pick up, the echoing of heavy steps in the hall, the fluttering of capes, the clinging of metal against metal. Uru placed a tentative hand over the hilt of his basket-hilt. Something was bother the Great Knight but why were they going through the castle? Was there a threat?

Only sparing a glance at the runed door, Uru followed Sir Percival into a chamber full of treasures, weapons, and armor. It must have been the Great King's treasure cache. Already in the room was another company of apprentice-knights with the red armored Sir Morgan. Words were discussed between Sir Percival and Morgan when Sir Gawain had also entered the discussion. The discussion quickly came to a head when the three met each other with weapons at the strike: sword, shield, and staff.

Was he to stop the attackers of gate?

Was he to attack the gate?

Was he to move the gate?

He had to follow his knight's code. He must remain aligned to the Black Faction of Merlin - the Raven. He was not to be outright hostile like Red... However, he could not just idly stand by as the companies broke into indecision of action. The Great Knights were not good examples at this point in time. They were meant to be examples to follow, meant to lead the apprentice knights! While there was grounds for this argument, the extreme ideologies of individual decision was causing chaos in the treasure room.

Uru decided to move the gate.

ATTACKING THE GATE: - GATE HP: 55
Critical hit! 6 damage done

Were those cracks he was beginning to see? He wasn't sure. They could just be small scuff marks from people smacking the damn thing. Regardless, it was enough of a target for him. Shun let out a breath, focusing on this potential weakpoint in the gate.

Then, he went on and brought his blade down, striking this point.

Off to the side, he spotted Chel and Jack arguing over the very same thing Estel had approached him for.

"Just think about it. If the mirror contains all of them, and it breaks while it's in here? Where would they all go? Right on top of our unprepared asses."

[Zar]

[MOVING THE GATE: TOTAL MOVEMENT = 72]

It was a relief to get off of the ramparts, but things were really not looking much better down here, things had gone from bad to worse and now they were trapped like rats in a castle with no way out of it. Time was running out and people were arguing and fighting right and left over what to do next. Morgan wanted to act immediately, to attack whatever was threatening them. Zar did not agree, kicking the hornets nest would only mean they survived even less time in the long run, and he wasn't too keen to die right now.

Digging in wasn't a much better option, it was merely hunkering down and waiting to be saved, none of the actions seemed any good, the great king hadn't come to rescue them yet and it didn't look like he would any time soon. Letting out a sigh, the silver haired man squared his sore shoulders, flexed one then the other and then chose what he intended to do.

In the end, Zar joined the others pushing the gate because it seemed like the sensible thing to do and more importantly because at least they were doing something. Frankly he was a bit of a goat sheep and when he saw people doing something, the desire generally came over him to follow them.

He was not very strong all told, slightly built, but what he lacked in strength he made up in effort.

The object slid regardless.

[MOVING THE GATE: TOTAL MOVEMENT = 75 ]
(Action 2/3)

There was a chance that the action that he had committed himself to was folly, but he could not, would not go against the red knight, Morgan. If this is what he thought was the best course, than Wrath could not help but agree.

He was prepared to deal with the consequences should their be any.

Taking a step back, steeling himself, he moved forward to brace a broad shoulder against the gate yet again, pushing it just a few more precious feet, while others joined in and yet others still continued to wage an assault against the artifact.

He did not anticipate the chaos. There were knights attempting to strike at the gate. There were knights challenging and fighting off those attackers. Some were even attacking those who were trying to defend the gate itself. There was some chasing the ones who were moving the gate.

He also did not anticipate the darn thing to be as heavy as it was.

(Action 2/3)

Damien was careful with the placement of his fingers, with every strike that was being made on the gate, with him taking up on side to protect it during each shove. "Think before striking, maybe it has a enchantment spell placed on it if the gate broke?" It was very apt that words were falling on deaf ears, and the gate was still being struck at in the blind desire to destroy. As a knight, it would not stand, putting his back into it, gave the structure a mighty heave away from the others.

"Stand at ease, Don't do this!"

Uru groaned as he attempted to lift the gate with the concerted help of the others. "It would certainly help if those attacking the damned thing would stop chasing us and attacking us, too!" He groaned through gritted, strained teeth. He let out a exasperated breath as he let his fingers loose. He helped move it far enough. Unlike the other knight-apprentices, he wasn't wearing metal armor and all that. He was a man of simple things such as the leather of his making. But, by the Great King, this was heavy enough without having others trying to attack it while they were moving it!

MOVING THE GATE: TOTAL MOVEMENT - 99

TK’s eyes narrowed as he and the other knights followed Percival. Golden eyes briefly gazed at the torches that flickered inside the cave, but his attention quickly refocused on the three Great Knights in the center. Everything about this room was unusual to him, and as much as he wanted to take the time to examine the treasures and other quirks of the room, it was wiser to hone in on the three’s conversation. This room was clearly forbidden to lower knights and apprentices like himself, so why were they all gathered here? Things were not going to end well, no matter what.

He stood quietly as he tried to soak in as much information from the Great Knights as possible, but everything still appeared confusing to him. There was a mirror and a gate, and the creatures outside were clearly the enemy, and the enemy apparently were after the gate. The most important decision that the knights were arguing over was what to do with the mirror and gate in regards to the encroaching enemy. Morgan’s idea seemed appealing at first, although Gawain’s seemed more neutral and the wiser. He understand Percival’s opinion, but could not agree with it.

There was clearly something more going on underneath, he thought, as his thoughts flashed to the crack in the sky and the glimpses of his own past memory, but this was all of the information he had to go off of.

He wanted to destroy either the gate or mirror, but given the lack of information, what if that was something he actually should not do? Sighing, TK rubbed his temples and continued to mull over his decisions. Perhaps it was actually better to move the gate to the mirror. With a sigh, he walked over to the apprentices gathered by the gate and assisted in moving it as well.

ATTACKING THE GATE: - GATE HP: 51

Nkosazana followed after Gawain, listening very carefully to his words. Of all of the Knights, to her, he seemed the most reasonable -- willing to break down what was happening to them, even as tensions seemed to be running high. The sidhe? Who were the sidhe? Why had they not been told about the sidhe before? It seemed like they were a greater threat than even the horsemen and their riders, and that in itself left a bitter taste in her mouth.

And why did they have something right under Camelot that could cause them so much harm? There was no reason why they should even have such an item in their possession, or anyone's possession! It almost like they were begging for more trouble. They were having trouble enough, and so many were falling, despite their best efforts--and their best efforts had saved plenty, but it had not saved anywhere near enough.

Her eyes lifted when she heard a phrase from the bearded knight she had followed here.

Power corrupts, and no man is immune to it.

Gawain was right. This would be safe under no one, and yet, so many of them seemed determined to push this gate towards the mirror. It may trap for now, but what if it failed? What would they do? They would all be doomed, and unable to stop themselves from being overrun and destroyed.

Alarmed at the rate at which the gate was being shoved towards the mirror, Nkosazana let out a strangled, "STOP IT!" and ran forward, swinging her swordstaff.
