Sailor Alcor, Super Senshi of Cold Location:B9 Action: Putting on her earring to reach out to Eleonora, using her magic to attack CH, Total: 7+10(pin)+5(rank) = 22 HP:37-26(prompt)-16(lightning) = 0
Alcor stood in shock after witnessing the Calamitous Hollow attack the Earth.
She opened her subspace pocket and from it withdrew the earring her sister had given to her and put it on. I’m sorry, I thought that we would be able to fight to our fullest potential if we weren’t together… I was wrong. I’m sorry I’m not there with you. Alcor didn’t wait for Eleonora to respond before summoning her Cone of Cold attack, aiming it at the Calamitous Hollow.
Lightning struck near her once, twice… and when her magic finally finished, a third one struck her. Cold was a familiar friend, but the feeling of being torn in two elicited a scream that was abruptly cut off.
Commander Andreiya Location: F3 Action: Attacking the Calamitous Hollow ; staying by Naeria but quiet Total: 5 +3rd HP: 71/150
He should have brought Steve. He should have brought Dylas. He should have brought the Kosopod he’d been taking care of.
If anything had happened to Earth, if something had happened to them–
There were so many people there. So many people who didn’t know what was going on, who hadn’t had any time to do anything.
His eyes darted to Lyndin and he tried to read his face but it felt like an impossible action. Andreiya couldn’t see Earth so he automatically thought it must be gone–but they’d worked so hard, made so many shields. That wall of clouds had been strong enough to hit the Calamitous Hollow–had it hit Earth, too?
His stomach was in knots and he couldn’t breathe. He was relieved to see the return of some of the missing Vanguardians but the worry that consumed him weakened his aim.
The shield had fallen. He wondered if he could have given more energy, would it have helped?
His head hurt. His heart hurt. His stomach and his lungs and his skin. Everything hurt, actually. But Commodore Lyndin was still standing, and it seemed like the rest of the Vanguardians were, too. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw other things happening but he knew he needed to focus.
Whether or not Earth had survived–and he hoped it had–they were still here, and still had to deal with this.
He fired again at the Calamitous Hollow but stayed close to Naeria, as if he expected she might change her mind and rush back into danger. Or, maybe he was just afraid the lightning might take her, too.
There were so many things he wanted to say but he didn’t trust himself to speak any of them. It was hard enough to keep breathing and he didn’t want emotion to slip into his voice, anyway.
With great restraint, Caia didn’t yelp when the Calamitous Hollow targeted Earth. He watched the explosion in absolute horror but he was still on autopilot. Jeremy wasn’t there, that was good! Everyone else was! Where was Jupiter–was that where Alastor was? Where was everyone?
His hand shook and his eyes darted around and he understood that something bad had happened–bad things were happening all around them.
But, he couldn’t panic–well, he could, actually, it was sort of his natural state, but–no! No, he had to focus! He couldn’t panic. Focus on–on what? Oh–right, healing.
He wasn’t much of a fighter, and even if he did jump up to hit the great serpent, he’d probably just trip over himself, or miss, or get in the way of someone else’s attack.
No, down here, he could heal. There were plenty of stronger people, doing way more useful things. Like–no, Caia, focus!
His heart was pounding so much he was getting dizzy from it, and his mind felt particularly foggy. They needed to keep fighting.
He just wanted to give people enough energy to do what he couldn’t.
Knight Halle of Lysithea location: G8 actions:shield (magic pool 15/60 remaining) Total: (3 + 10 rank) 13 HP: 103
Their area had grouped up well, and with the shielding between the mauvian senshi and himself, most of the spray of scales bypassed or barely hit those in the area. Relief, however, was short lived once the silent lightning began, creating jagged tears through the air as it struck down all across the battlefield.
Checking in on Lisse and Mechelen, Halle was glad to see them both fairing well enough without his interference, while Almere was pretty much thriving in this fight. As he recast his shield, Halle remembered her words, heartfelt in the face of his anxiety and worry over her.
I always wanted to be someone like that, you know? Someone who stood up against the darkness.
Squire Carterhaugh of Earth Location: F3 Action: attacking and choosing to drop to 0 HP! Total: 4 + 5 = 9 HP: 0
Carterhaugh felt their heart sink as the shield came down. Still, they had done something—given something to help it absorb just a little more of the impact of the Hollow.
So perhaps they had managed to do something that mattered.
They weren’t sure what to think of the attack on Earth. Perhaps the fact that they remained, a Knight, meant that the planet was still safe. Perhaps the fact that Carterhaught the Wonder seemed to exist in a sort of hidden space beyond ordinary Earth protected it.
But they wanted to hope. Wanted to believe that things might still be okay.
And witnessing Lyndin drawing his sword to fight was…incredible. They’d seen the other aliens deferring to him, and it was easy to see why, now. He fought with obvious skill and confidence
And, alright, huge gorgeous men were Carterhaugh’s type, sue them.
They could feel themself flagging, having drained their magic entirely, but they still went for one more attack.
And then, Carterhaugh collapsed, exhausted. Their eyes went glassy and strange, and they found themself Somewhere Else.
On the other side, they were alone. Alone, except for looming, hopeless darkness.the Dark Star itself, the very threat the Herald…well, Heralded.
But they were still a Knight, even in this strange place. They were still Carterhaugh, not Ashe. And they had to believe that meant something.
“No,” they said, softly. “This isn’t over. I won’t let it be over.”
They would not give in to despair. Not now. Not even with everything seeming hopeless.
Niter was calm as a cucumber and that calmness kept Magnus relatively chill as well. It helped that the feeling want needing to fight for his own life to stay on Niters shoulders. Such a considerate boy!!
The years that appeared were incredibly interesting and working at the same time. Magnus wondered if there was a way that they could create their own years in reality. Surely others were curious as well?
He’d have to worry about tear replication later though.
Being careful with his aim so Niter not anyone else was caught but it, the mau released another star blast at the Calamitous Hollow.
“Yeah, I-I’m doing ok…” Meridiana started to reply when a lightning strike hit the ground near her, eliciting a startled scream. “I-I think..” she stammered, feeling her heart pound against her chest in a most painful way.
Meridiana moved back a couple of steps and finally summoned her own magic. “Look at me,” If the lightning was going to strike indiscriminately, what reason did she have to hold back? If the only thing it did was pull a bolt towards her instead of the Eternal Corrupt beside her so he could still fight, then she’d consider it magic worth using.
A golden ethereal whip appeared in her hand, which she swung overhead and cracked beside her.

Fulgurite- I'm sorry I may add more after I roll more characters.
Oh, her cheeks felt like they were burning, but she very much liked being pulled close by Belmont. Even if it was just for a quick, reassuring squeeze. They had so much to worry about, but she still laughed nervously and brushed out her dress like she needed to make sure she looked presentable.
Which was completely bizarre because she normally didn’t worry about things like that. But he was worrying about so much that maybe if she didn’t look like she was a little too singed from lightning that he would worry a little less, maybe? Okay, it made sense to her.
Maybe it was because he was thanking her for being her, which was another weird thing, because she was awkward and weird and knew she was a bit oblivious.
“We should probably plan on getting ice cream or something once everything here is done,” she quickly suggested between trying to avoid the lightning and sending off some more magic. “Looking forward to things helps boost spirits!” Or something like that. Still, she didn’t want to think about anything happening to him.
She didn’t want to have to worry about him, like she worried about others she hadn’t been able to get in contact with. She hoped it was because they’d left to go somewhere safe, but deep down she couldn’t help but fear for them.
Kamacite stared in alarm as Jasper collapsed. He quickly moved to his side, but stayed out of the way as Lopezite put his cape over him and shielded him with some pieces of scales.
While Lopezite checked for a pulse, Kamacite brushed Jasper’s hair out of his face and gasped, pulling back at the sight of his eyes. He met Lopezite’s eyes with fear and concern. Jasper seemed to be alive but--
Whatever was happening, wasn’t normal.
Frantically, Kamacite pulled out the berry they’d received from Almadel, but while he wanted to try and use it to revive Jasper, he had a sickening feeling that it wouldn’t matter. So he placed it in his own mouth to cautiously chew and swallow.
Lopezite wanted him to be safe. Okay… but they still had the Calamitous Hollow to deal with.
“I’ll be okay,” he promised as he turned his gaze upward at the serpent, and then teleported out of range of Lopezite’s eyes so he could use his magic, and then teleport back. He would help stand guard over Jasper until they could figure out what to do.
Page 1, Page 19, Page 32, Page 45, Page 58, Page 71, Page 83 Location: F3 Action:Staying near Lyndin. Using his shield for those he can in F3. Total: 1 + 10 (Rank) = 11 HP: 51 (lightning damage negated in F3) = 51
Aliez let out a horrified, helpless sob as the Calamitous Hollow caused a blast that enveloped all of Earth and its Moon. He staggered backwards a step, covering his mouth with his hand, before it shakily lowered to press over his heart, as though that would stop it from racing.
He almost didn’t notice the serpent being hit, but winced and ducked away from it as it came crashing down onto the shield. It broke, but the gentle energy that had constructed it gave him a brief moment of calm as it washed over them in the rage of lightning around them.
His immediate concern was Lyndin. He’d had his hand inside the device, doing everything he could to give them as much of a chance as possible.
Outwardly, the Commodore didn’t look injured, but he was also an expert on concealing his weaknesses. Even if he was gravely injured, he would have likely brushed it off and given them reassurances.
Which meant the weight of guaranteeing the Commodore’s survival fell on Aliez. How was he supposed to take care of someone who didn’t think they were as much of a priority as they really were? Even with all of the energy he’d just used on the shield, the Commodore was still attacking the Calamitous Hollow with precise swings of his sword, attacking both the serpent and knocking down lightning before it could reach them.
Out of the corner of his eye and vision blurred by tears, he caught sight of Vyn returning with Lysanna and Cypher. At least they seemed well enough, despite being outside of his shield. The others were still fighting, too. They were doing their best in the face of increasingly bad odds.
And for all of that, Aliez wondered if the others would now realize that if the Commodore had actually wanted to harm the Senshi and Knights of Earth, it would have been easy. He didn’t have to take such delicate care of Caedus’ starseed, but he did. He hadn’t drawn their weapon on them, like he did on a real threat.
But now what…? Would all these Senshi and Knights and the Negaverse expect to be given refuge on Velencya if their world was actually destroyed? It frustrated Aliez to think about. No matter what the Vanguard did for Earth, they would not be helped equally in return. It was always a ‘what’s in it for me,’ which never set well with him, as he’d shared with Kerberos.
Blinking away the tears, Aliez held up his arm with his vambrace once more so he could cast his shield over them.
There was a moment of hopelessness that fell over Oberon like the soft breeze of the broken shield above them. The Calamitous Hollow had sent a blast of light at Earth, and the resulting explosion had covered it.
Billions of people…
Around them, others were still fighting. Others hadn’t given up. Lyndin still looked determined. Maybe there was a chance the shields held--
He cast a glance over at Caia, grateful to his presence. For his healing magic. He’d felt the warmth of it course through him, and he felt like he was ready to continue fighting.
Lyndin had pulled out his sword, and like the device that created the shield, Oberon cast his magic on the Commodore. Not knowing how much good it would do, but knew he had to do something with the little bit of energy he had left. Thanks to Caia and Aliez and the others, he knew he would be able to put everything he had left into helping the Commodore.
Oberon knew he didn’t deserve their forgiveness or compassion. He’d helped thwart potentially restoring their world’s energy. But it was at the cost of a friend’s life. A friend who very much did not want to be sacrificed without knowing for certain it would actually solve their problems. Oberon couldn’t blame him. Nothing else they’d tried helped. And wasn’t Caedus suffering every day with a mutilated starseed punishment enough? Didn’t they owe it to him to try and figure out a way to help him?
He could feel the lightning crackling around him. Even with Lyndin blocking nearly every bolt that struck through at them, there didn’t seem a way to stop all of it.
He fell to his knees first as lightning struck him. He couldn’t even cry out in pain. It felt like he was being torn apart. He felt guilty for worrying Caia. He was supposed to be there, keeping him safe. Instead, Oberon was getting struck by lightning and collapsing onto the ground, his eyes reflecting unknown stars……
But then, he saw it. He knew immediately it was the Dark Star. Mocking him for his failures. Promising destruction and death throughout the universe, because that was all it knew.
He lost. His life as a Senshi was for nothing. His experience and hope and dreams, taken from him like his father.
Did Empyrean see this when he died, too? Was this the eternity they were all bound to face? If they couldn’t stop one Calamitous Hollow and save their planet, how could they ever hope to protect anything?
Lieutenant Vauxite Location:F9 Action:Throwing his remaining weapon since Markeb took one, taking a lightning strike for her and falling over with 0 HP Total: 5 HP:27-26(prompt) -19(lightning) = 0
Vauxite threw one of his weapons first before handing his sister the other.
He watched her take aim, and as it left her hand, he shoved her aside just before a streak of black lightning struck the place where she once stood.
Markeb, Basic Dark Mirror Senshi of Wishes Location:F9 Action:Taking one of her brother’s weapons to try throwing it from where she’s at, catching her brother as he’s falling, tries to use her magic but can’t work and gets struck by lightning where they both disappear Total: 4 HP:27-26(prompt) - 26(lightning) = 0
Markeb threw the dagger just as she had been doing since the Calamitous Hollow had fallen from the sky the first time.
The probability of being hit by lightning was high but what she hadn’t expected was to be shoved aggressively from behind. It all happened so suddenly, Markeb stumbled, only barely catching herself before tripping over her own feet, and as she turned she saw her brother falling.
Reaching out to catch him, she cried out in overwhelming grief as she fell to the ground with Vauxite’s head cradled in her arms. Tears fell freely as she tried to summon her magic, to bring forth a crystal star to wish upon, but the words would not come.
Rarely did lightning strike the same place twice, but this time… when it did… both Markeb and Vauxite disappeared.
Super Sailor Eleonora, Senshi of Heat Location: H6 Action: Panicking over her sister’s sudden ‘death’, feeling the magic gifted to her from the knights, attacking CH from the rage she’s feeling. Total: 9+5(rank) + 31(Irkalla +Kiringul) = 45 x 2 (metallic bracelet (forgot she had it, it’s on the IC RP item list but I didn’t put it in her journal from 2024 Starfest)) = 90 HP: 57-26(prompt)-19(lightning) = 7
Eleonora heard her sisters voice like a whisper in the back of her mind. So quiet that she hadn’t realized that Alcor had put on her earring. What… what do you mean… where are you? she tried to ask, her chest tightening as desperation and panic took over. Tell me where you’re at, I’ll come to you…
A cold silence settled in a moments that followed.
“Alcor…?” she whispered the name aloud. Fiona…? She tried once more, but still there was no reply.
Tears burned her eyes as she tried to look at Antisana, his face and features no longer recognizable through her blurry vision. Their home and families were gone, now her sister too.
Eleonora squeezed her eyes shut, tears falling freely down both cheeks, grief flooding through her as what felt like a gentle hand settled on her shoulder. Magic… a gift from someone near, a comfort in her darkest moment. When she opened her eyes all she saw was the Calamitous Hollow above them.
“Cone of Heat…” Her voice was filled with hurt and sorrow as she used one of her strongest attacks against him. Willing with all her being to burn a hole through its heart, assuming the World Destroyer had one.

Salar de Uyuni - Page of Cosmos Location:H6 Action: Evaded a lightning strike but fell unconscious from the CH crashing down above them once more. Total:N/A HP:18-26 = 0
For all the things she could have done, should have done, Salar de Uyuni had not made a single move against the Calamitous Hollow. It loomed overhead in a coiled rage until everything seemed to have held its breath.
The seconds felt like a lifetime as the clouds parted and everything was put into a spectacular perspective. She could see their solar system: the Sun, Earth… the Moon that had lent them aid against the god-like beast.
It felt like a dream… until it wasn’t.
The Serpent fired an electrical blast, sending everything it had at their home.
Salar stood in stunned silence as the devastation from the explosion occluded everything; there was no light, no life… just darkness. The Calamitous Hollow shrunk but she could not tare her eyes away from where their Solar System had been and as he fell, crashing upon what remained of the field, she too collapsed.
Maya - Page of Ganymede Location: Action: Overwhelmed and has nothing left to give anyone and nothing she can throw, will shield Spasskava from a lightning strike if they take damage from one this turn. Total:N/A HP:79-26(prompt)=53 - a lightning strike damage from spasskava
Such great despair fell upon Maya’s shoulders. A level of helplessness she could not explain.
There was nothing in her subspace pocket she could throw at the Calamitous Hollow for the rage she felt at watching it obliterate her home and all that she held dear.
Maya looked to each of the knights around her, but any words of comfort, words of reassurance, died in her throat. She did not come to be a cheerleader, waiving Ginko leaves like pom-poms. But without magic or a substantial enough weapon to throw, all she could do was try to shield someone from a lightning strike.
Sara Draconia
Spasskaya - if she takes lightning damage, Maya will push her out of the way and take it instead.
Karakorum couldn’t help but sympathize with the poor Corrupt Senshi (Mirabilite) who’d been holding up their shield. Everything really did feel very bad and very freaky, and with the shield down and the monster attacking Earth—
No. No, she was not going to give up. She was not going to let herself despair. There were so many things left to do. So much to keep trying.
So even as black lightning struck her, even as the pain made her stagger and gasp, Karakorum jumped up.
She had no magic. But she still had her bow. And she could still hit the stupid thing with it.

quoting on lanting's post only since they're right next to each other (and i forgot to roll for him!)
This time, when Lanting channeled his magic, he focused on Dunnottar; Corvina and his temporary Nega-friend would probably be fine, but he had to make sure Dunnottar stayed up.
“You okay, buddy?” He asked. “And is everyone else holding up alright?”
It didn’t feel as powerful this time, no great surge of power blooming through him, but it was still something. It would still help. It was still Lanting being something more than a useless, hopeless failure, the way he usually was as Shuangxu.
“We just have to hold on a little longer,” he said, “but I believe we can do this!”
Quote:
Magic: Lanting taps his staff against the ground, and he glows with a soft purple light. He is surrounded by a field of orchids that extends to a 15ft radius, and allies within the radius feel a sense of sanctuary and safety, and find that minor injuries are fully healed, moderate wounds are mostly healed, and serious wounds are stabilized. In order to receive the full effects of Lanting’s healing, they must remain in the radius for his full channeling time, and if he stops channeling early, full effects may not be applied. Lanting can channel for a total of 45 seconds at this stage.
The Calamitous Hollow loomed, their shield failed, and the monster attacked their very own Solar System.
It made d’If’s heart lurch. No,t hey could not have failed so easily, not when they had fought so hard, not when they were still so desperately fighting—
But he refused to give in to hopelessness.
Not even when lightning struck Dunwich, because she was still standing, still fighting, still trying. Still throwing her little weapon.
Not even when it struck him as he moved closer to her.
“Dunwich,” he gasped, reaching for her. “Love, are you alright?”
Probably not. None of them were alright. But they were still here.
He tapped his weapon on the ground again, focused on the Hollow. Hoping his magic mattered, in the grand scheme of it all.
Quote:
Magic: d'If taps his cane against the ground, and enemies within ten feet of him feel as if they are weighed down by heavy chains, which can make movement difficult but not impossible, and have the sensation that a prison warden-like figure, who they sense the gaze of but cannot see, is looming over them, waiting for a reason to throw them back in a cell. This oppressive feeling of being watched may produce any range of affects in the target, from anxiety to a feeling of rebellion, depending on the target's inclinations and personality. At this stage, Île d'If can channel for 35 seconds at a time.
The wonder she has felt upon realizing that the Calamitous Hollow was a dragon was quickly washed away to dread as it attacked Earth. An explosion sounded and the creature opened windows or tears or something to other worlds? Places? Times?!
God's it was really or of one of her fantasy novels, but living it in person was terrifying.
Laced with fear, the Eternal attached with her eternal magic. “Harmony's Reproof!”
Magic:
Eternal Sailor Attack: Harmony's Reproof Raising her hands upwards, palms facing the sky Harmonia shouts her attack and a golden sparkle dome temporarily appears before fading out. Anyone within the AoE dome who has malicious intent towards anyone will feel a burning pain in their chest. The stronger the intent, the worse the pain is. If a character can let go of their malicious intent the pain will disappear. Duration -- 10 ft for 45 secs Avoided -- Out of AoE Range, no malicious intent Cons -- Very draining/pours a lot of energy into it and will affect -anyone- in the dome.
“No,” she said, firmly. The shield may have been down, and the monster may have tried to attack Earth—
But she refused to believe that was the end. They still had fight in them. tHey could still struggle on.
She swiped her fingers down her arm, loosing another burst of flame at the creature in the sky.
And thewn there was a cry of fear, and she tuirned, and her heart lurched as Cernunnos vanished.
“Cern!” She gasped, horrified. The poor thing—he’d been so afraid, so nervous, and now--
Now he was gone.
Asmodeus’s shock rooted her in place, and the lightning struck her, too.
And then she, too, was gone.
Quote:
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Avernian Eruption! Sailor Asmodeus speaks the name of her attack and extends one arm towards a target within six feet, touching the fingers of the other to the inside of her elbow. She sweeps her hand forward, and a burst of flames flies from her hand. It explodes into a fireball with a radius of 8 feet, and enemies caught in it will experience the pain of second-degree burns for 30 seconds, with actual damage to exposed skin possible at player discretion. Asmodeus can use this spell twice per battle.
