Anxious Friend

Pherkad- Senshi of Fans
Location: E6
Action: Just arrived and too scared to move.

With all the surrounding auras flaring like a field of white noise across her senses, it was no wonder the Senshi of Fans didn’t notice one more approach her from behind.

Startled by the sudden nearness when she’d thought she had been alone, Pherkad turned sharply, pivoting on her heel, hair whipping around her by the surge of wind, she looked at the man with a mixture of confusion and relief at the realization that the man with snow-colored ears, long tail, and star marking on his forehead was a mauvian.

“Arthur?” she asked, her tone uncertain since it had been years since she last saw him. The tension in her shoulders eased just slightly.

“I’ll be honest,” she said, eyes flicking from the crowd of Senshi, Knights, and Agents, to the sky above “I wish Sailor Child was here.” But a wish for a friend had brought someone familiar. That counted for something.

Before she could retreat or even process what came next, the pressure in the air spiked- Heavy, suffocating. Her ears popped and head swam. She squeezed her eyes shut from the dizzying pain.

Then, without warning lightning struck around them and the wind surged again… shoving her forward. Pherkad let out a startled cry and instinctively redhead out and caught hold of Arthur’s hand, desperate not to lose her footing or him

When finally she opened her eyes the world around them was terrifying and dark. Dark storm clouds were all around them, churning as if they were in the eye of the storm, wrapping and warping around them. Lightning flashed, illuminating what would soon become a battlefield in a bright light and that was when she saw an unbelievably large snake-like creature slither through the sky.

Her face paled and stomach churned. “How are we expected to fight something like that?”

Cadet Lysanna
Location: C10
Action: Getting sucked into the dimensional rift after freaking out at the surge of energy from Laurelite, and getting separated from the rest of the Vanguard.

The immense aura that illuminated the battlefield had Lysanna's comtech screaming at her. She muted the device but turned her gaze this way and that in order to pinpoint what it was that was causing the alarm. Her gaze widened perceptively at the new arrival as she stood almost center stage on the hill before Lysanna audibly gulped. Whomever this was, she felt and looked dangerous. (( Laurelite )) The cadet backed away from the rest of her people before all hell broke loose.

The first strike of lightning nearly blinded her with the intensity of the flash, the second and third strikes that struck almost simultaneously had the cadet shielding her eyes in order to potentially save her vision. It didn't stop the wind from knocking her to her knees and pushing her forward without any semblance of control. The blast alone would have been bad enough, but without the chance to control her roll ... Lysanna pitched right into the open yaw of the tear in reality.

The sense of being moved through time and space was uncomfortable to say the least. When she finally felt the ground solidify below her the cadet felt her stomach rebel and she promptly lost whatever contents were in her stomach. Weakly she got back to her knees before realizing that the group she had been with before were not in the immediate line of sight as her vision began to clear. There were people gathering nearby, including, if she could trust her eyes once more, the same person who'd sent her to a small panic attack moments before arriving here.

[[ Lysanna's open for interaction. ]]

Snowball : Journal - Currently Cat Form (Has Sailor unlocked)
Location: G8
Action: Following Aquitania to a hopefully safe area of the field.

Snowball grinned when Realta's ear twitcjed and she asked if he said senshi, "Yes, Senshi form. I can only use it for so long so I don't use it much but I'm sure I'll need at some point tonight."

There was a pause as he stretched a bit, "Honestly, senshi forms weren't known about at first. So I don't know how many actually have unlocked it." He hadn't thought about it in a while -- how many mauvians did have a senshi form? He was out of the loop there he supposed when Metis mentioned it wouldn't hurt there was another thought. "Come to think of it, don't think I've used the senshi form in a fight... so I don't really know what my magic does."

The cat started laughing, "Ironic isn't it?" He look at Niflhel to help him put the pin on after he got the bracelet around a paw.

"I'm sure we can get figure out how to thank Almadel after this is over. Niflhel can use his ring if nothing else to send him a letter if you'd like." The large white cat smiled softly up until all of a sudden the air changed.

His fur bristled as he was about to say something else when he realized it felt as if he'd dropped into the bottom of the ocean and the headache and ringing in his ears that came with it. It was horrendous and he couldn't do anything about it.

When it finally stopped he looked around and had he not been a cat, might have looked a little pale. "UGH what was that!?" of course shortly after he realized that Queen Laurelite had arrived and he wasn't sure if it was her fault like the lightening got worse. He didn't like it. "Oh boy we got the big-big leagues here now..." He said softly.

It wasn't long after that they were sucked into some black hole vacuum. He didn't like being turned inside out and right again nor the fact he felt cold and hot all at the same time. "Could someone warn us before they just gank us somewhere?"

The large mauvian complained when they finally landed but he was looking around, nope they were too close to Queen Laurelite and he wanted away and was glad when Aquitania suggested they go that way, "Lead the way!" He said cheerfully swapping back to as pleasant of a manner as he could considering who all was in the area with them. Since they were out of Destiny he popped into his human form and adjusted his jacket, "There, this should be a bit more useful." Barefeet walking the paces to their new location.

Niflhel Knight of Saturn : Journal
Location: G8
Action: Following Aquitania to a hopefully safe area of the field.

"Yes everyone's help, doesn't matter if you're support, defense or offensive at this point will help." Niflhel agreed with Realta nodding. "It's also a good time to learn something new, be it what your magic does, or how you respond to being a big battle."

Niflhel looked at Snowball helping the cat put the pin onto one of the fine strands of his gems in his tail. Then glaring when Snowball started volunteering him to be the messenger. "I guess if that's the only way to get a hold of him." The knight shrugged softly and sighed. The knight suddenly frowned as he felt the pressure in the air before the Queen of the negaverse appeared. He wasn't sure if he was glad to see her or not. On one hand as long as she was with them, they had a better chance at winning this -- the other hand... if things went south.

"I really don't want anything crazy coming true." He said softly. When the sudden sensation of being pulled from one plane to another and while it was similar to teleporting it was worse. He bit his tongue until they landed. "That was unpleasant" He looked around, "Is everyone okay? Metis? Kids? Cats?" It was a mouthful to say everyone's names so just easier to lump 'em all.

When Aquitania suggested where they should move he nodded, "Yes that sounds like a good spot." It was far enough away for now from the Negaverse Royalty that he was good with it.

Sailor Totoro, Chibi Senshi of raccoons (basic) : Journal
Location: G8
Action: Following Aquitania to a hopefully safe area of the field.

Totoro grinned, "I like when I can be useful. It's difficult sometimes to actually not feel like I'm in the way." He was thinking back to when he ran away from the youma he thought was a dog. He felt more useful than in the way but he still wasn't completely helpful to Joy.

The chibi nodded causing his raccoon hoodie to bobble up and down into his eyes when Realta said it was a lion's courage for people to find the strength they needed to get through this. Looking to Metis, "Maybe we can help you get a good shot then!"

The talk about thanking Almadel had Totoro trying to figure out how he was going to thank this msyterious person until the white cat spoke up and mentioned Niflhel, could send letters.

"Ohhh we can write letters and send them with Niflhel's help?? Does that mean with magic?" Totoro seemed enthralled by this information and looked at Aquitania, "I think that sounds like a great idea don't you?" When the scary lady showed up, he noticed he felt terrible and like something was crushing him. Totoro also noticed the white cat and knight who was named Niflhel apparently weren't happy. She felt like bad news.

"Who's that?" He asked curiously but any thoughts of getting an answer was cut short when they were all pulled into this new area. He gasped when they finally landed and looked around, "Realta is that what it always feels like to be teleported?" The chibi senshi was trying to get his feet back under him so to speak when Aquitania mentioned they should move to another area he nodded, "Good idea it seems less crowded."

Transcended Eternal Sailor Kerberos
Location: E7
Action: Proposing the group (Fang, Ida, Illyria) help protect one of the spikes! (@ the rest of the group pls feel free to move Kerberos with you!)

Kerberos nodded at Ida’s suggestion, sliding on the bracelet and attaching the pin to his collar next to his brooch.

And then, the pull came.

And when it let them go, they were Somewhere Else.

So this was it. This was the domain of the Calamitous Hollow, or at least the domain in which it currently resided. This would be their one shot to stop it before it got to Earth.

And it was…massive. The murals, the visions, they’d given something of an idea, but Kerberos was pretty sure nothing could have prepared him for what was before them now.

But it didn’t matter. It didn’t matter if this thing was a garden snake or Azathoth Himself, they had to stop it. They could not allow it to reach its destination. And wherever they were, they had a mission. All of their work, all of their sacrifices, everything they had been working for these past weeks came together now.

“We should get to one of the spikes,” Kerberos said. Part of him wanted to back up the Vanguard, but there were far too many powerful Negaverse eyes on the field for that. Lyndin had competent, loyal people around him—as much as Kerberos wanted to help his friend, he also trusted in their collective capabilities.

“Muri’s or Solaris’s, preferably. My desire to cooperate with the Negaverse only extends so far.”

Corporal Caelyna
Location: F3
Action: Guarding Lyndin

With Lyndin’s confirmation, Caelyna gave a short nod and slid the bracelet on, attaching the pin to her lapel.

Just in time for them to be fully pulled to this strange space between spaces.

Caelyna might have felt….unmotivated, of late. Prone to aimlessness. Directionless. All her own fault, of course, but still an experience she had been having.

And yet, here, surrounded by her fellows, she knew. She could do this. She could protect Lyndin as Velyria had—as her sister would have wanted her to. Aliez’s concerns weren’t entirely unwarranted, she would acknowledge that, and she was glad that he voiced them—but in her heart, she trusted Lyndin. Trusted that if he said he intended to help everyone, he did.

“With you, Commodore,” she said. “We will ensure that this goes to plan.”

General Ashanite
Location: A7
Action: Sticking with Jet + Aqua, telling Andesine and Victoria to stay close, inviting Arsenolite along

“I’ll pull him out if necessary,” Ashanite promised Andesine, looking over to where Nekoite was in trouble. At least he could summon a Lieutenant to his side, if necessary. He couldn’t hear what he was saying, but even at a distance, he recognized something in the body language, in the wibbling—

Was Nekoite trying to play them? Oh, Ashanite was so proud. He’d have to ask, later.

Jet got a wry little grin and a shrug as a response. Fun could wait. But if they did get through this, that afterparty really did sound fantastic.

Not that he had much of a chance to comment, because the battlefield changed.

Laurelite was here.

She was something of a rare sight, these days, given her duties as Queen, but time had not lessened Ashanite’s reverence for her. She had trusted him, had given him a chance when his plan objectively put her and her officers at great risk, and had continued to trust him long enough for his lies to bear fruit and for him to properly make something of himself as an officer.

If Laurelite was here, Ashanite had no fear in his heart. He’d already felt mostly good about their chances, but the Queen’s presence was more than enough to bolster him.

Even when the lightning struck, and tore them from their ordinary reality. Getting pulled to strange places was something one got used to, eventually, Ashanite supposed.

But Aquamarine’s spike was glowing, and he seemed to know where he needed to go.

“Stay close,” Ashanite told Andesine and Victoria--a face he was all too glad to see—“and watch out. I don’t trust what will happen after this is over.” There were far too many Princesses present for him to feel fully comfortable. But then, if Order tried anything stupid, they had numbers and power. From a distance, he looked to catch Arsenolite's eye and jerked his head in the direction he was heading. An invitation.

He went with Aquamarine and Jet. He’d backed them up last time a battle on a hill went to s**t. He’d do it again.

Captain Diaboleite
Location: E5 (but will move with Beni's group!)
Action: Telling Beni he's with him, protecting Aoede

Diaboleite huffed softly at Mara’s frustration. “We must be careful,” he said, in quick French. Then, a pause. “...But I apologize for misinterpreting.” He owed her that, at least. Family, and whatnot.

When the lightning began to strike, he held onto Aoede, hoping to keep her close wherever they ended up.

And what a place. Strange, liminal, and in the skies, a monster moved just out of view. A massive thing. The great beast that threatened their world, that would consume them all and move on to Earth if they could not stop it in time.

But they had one of the keys to stopping it with them. In hands Diaboleite knew he could trust.

“Benitoite,” he said, “where to?” He would defer to his cousin, and follow where he went.

Transcended Eternal Sailor Daedalus
Location: E5, heading to E10
Action: Sticking with Muri & co to protect his friend!

The new Senshi, Harmonia, got a brief nod of greeting from Daedalus. He let Murikabushi handle the introductions; his attention was focused on the spike in Muri’s hand.

If he had thoughts about Elsa deciding to plant a kiss on Murikabushi’s lips, they were tucked away in a little, wry smile. He was glad for his friends. These were the sort of things he didn’t get to ask for, not anymore, but it was good to see them have it.

“I will stand by you,” he promised Murikabushi. “You helped save my world. It’s my turn to help save yours.”

Perhaps these were not entirely the same. But they were the same to Daedalus. A promise he would not allow to go unfulfilled.

Captain Akaganeite
Location: Heading to A7
Action: Going to back up her General!

Akaganeite flashed Reidite a wry little grin.

“I prefer to be a bit less pickled, but it has its merits,” she acknowledged. But the storm came quickly, and between the lightning strikes, they found themselves somewhere entirely new.

For a moment, Akaganeite’s heart sank. She wanted to hope, but the massive scale of the monster before her—it frightened her. How were they to stop that? How were they even to slow it down? Magical spikes or no, could they really trust Moon Kingdom technology?

She tried to keep the fear off her face, but there was a flicker of it in her eyes.

Still, she inhaled, and met Aquamarine’s eyes when he looked for her.

“Duty calls,” she said, and she moved to back up her General. He might not need it—there were more powerful people with him—but she would do as she must.

Mauvian Illyria -
Location: E7
Action: Liking Kerberos's idea to guard a spike location

Even as she was situated on Ida's shoulder did Illyria feel confused for a moment. There still seemed to be something in her little blue pouch. The idea that she had missed something didn't sit right with her and she quickly darted off of her partner's shoulder in order to stick her paw back into the bag just to draw out a strange, dusky red stone. Her gaze sparkled for a moment at finding this latest treasure before she decided that being bipedal was probably going to be the best form to take for the moment.

Without much hesitation Illyria drew upon the form that allowed her to walk upright before palming the additional item that she had found. Already she had the strangest look on her face before simply moving to slide the bracelet onto her wrist and fasten the pin to her ribbon collar. The stone and berry were dismissed into her subspace pocket just in the nick of time it seemed. The arrival of one more owner of a massive chaotic aura would have caused all the fur to puff up if she'd been in her feline form. This couldn't be anything good, could it?

Her left hand sought to find and hold one of Ida's before the world turned upside down. The simultaneous lightning strikes, the raging wind and a force that seemed to suck them all into a rip in the folds of reality would have been a cause for concern had she been able to think straight. Upon arrival wherever it was they had landed the Mauvian brushed her right hand over her heart before gasping. The glimpses of others just being in the same state that she was feeling had Illyria suddenly very worried.

"I did not enjoy that ride at all. Who do we complain to about the service we received while flying to wherever it is we are," was muttered softly before her gaze flicked to the sky in order to catch sight of something that chilled her even more so than what she had once experienced on Ida's asteroid. Chaos could be cleared ... but how could one deal with something that was easily thousands of times larger than the defenders of Earth where?

A hiss passed her lips before she clamped them shut. Her gaze found Kerberos as he spoke and she looked around to see if she could see the aforementioned Murikabushi. No luck.

"Do you know which way we go in order to find him or Solaris?"

Super Sailor Surtur of Desolation
    Page 15, Page 24
    Location: H5
Action: With Rainier and Helene, looking for their lost group members.

Expecting another to join them, yes. But Surtur feared they may be separated further.

Even though he was pleased to see Helene, and even though he wanted to reassure Rainier, he didn’t get a chance to respond. Not immediately at least. As the lightning flashed and reality seemed to tilt and fold around them, Surtur reached out to take hold of Rainier’s arm, doing his best to keep her steady.

They’d been pulled from Destiny City, to a place that seemed like it was removed from anything he’d ever dreamed of.

Helene,” he finally greeted, although more solemn now that they were truly preparing to face the destroyer of worlds. “Rainier is correct. There is another we are searching for as well. We will do our best to help you find your group, but we must look for ours as well,” he told him, reaching out to clasp a hand against the man’s shoulder. It was like greeting a brother who had been lost to time. His heart swelled with emotions he couldn’t explain, but knew this was not the time or place to chat.

Rainier, when the light shines through the valley and the mist that has consumed all that is good is no more, I shall receive you at my world, for it is the most beautiful place I’ve seen in the universe, but always more beautiful with good company. If he is here, we will find Beira and restore the protection we as Senshi and Knights grant the Earth,” he said and placed his hand over his chest to indicate his sincerity.

“Let us locate all our friends and loved ones with haste, dear friends.”

Sailor Phaethon, Super Senshi of Happiness
Location: moving to I4
Action: reassuring Nembus and trying to take her further away from Negaverse operatives

"Look, let's… try over there, okay? There's someone over there, and I don't see many of the enemy from here." Phaethon offered their hand reflexively to Nembus, shooting Elliott a hopeful glance. If they could just get through this and go home, everything would be as okay as they were telling her it would be.

Just for good measure, they retrieved the little blue bag, with its trinkets inside. As soon as they got where they were going, Phaethon would put them on.

Eternal Sailor Varuna
    Page 21
    Location: D4
Action: With Adria, looking for friends.

Varuna kept her arms around Adria when everything around them started to shift. She had no idea what was in store for them, but seeing the storm and what could only be the serpent hiding behind the clouds left her breathless.

She hugged Adria a bit tighter, kissed his forehead, and then took a step back so she could hold both of his hands and give them a squeeze.

“We will make it through this,” she promised. They could find their friends, they would save Earth, and they would spend the entire next week just sitting around and reading books and drinking tea with cookies.

Besides, she couldn’t show her fear when he was trying so hard to do his best.

With a little tug of his hand, she led the way to what she hoped would lead them closer to their friends and family.

Connie, Squire of Chronos

    Location: F5
    Action: With Belmont.

Oh. Oh. They were probably in a lot of trouble now. Connie’s eyes widened as she stared up, up, up at the clouds and the glimpse of a serpent swimming through them. She almost toppled over if it wasn’t for Belmont keeping an arm around her waist.

Oh!

“Thank you!” she gasped suddenly, throwing her arms around him in a quick hug, before taking a step back to readjust her hold on her little tree and brush out the layers of her dress.

“I’m okay!” Connie promised, looking up once more, in awe of everything around them.

“Do you see these colors? They’re beautiful. Oh! I mean, it’s really terrifying too, but wow! I’ve never seen anything like this before.”

She knew they were there for a reason. She knew they needed to fight to save Earth. But she wanted to take some time to really admire everything around them. This would hopefully be a once in a lifetime chance to see such a storm. And she was also really hoping they would survive this so she could paint what they experienced.

Tikal, squire of Ganymede
Location: E8
Action: looking for the group she was previously with

Once she had landed and recovered her bearings, Tikal realised she had no idea where the rest of the group had ended up in the throng. Swearing under her breath–so no one would hear it, of course–she rocked up onto the tips of her toes to try and get a better view, to no avail. She had just joined that group, too. Well, if she saw them again, she would rejoin them. Until then, she had better get into position to help–

If she moved right then, however, she was liable to get run over. With a discreet grumble, Tikal went back to looking for the others she had previously been standing with.

Corporal Nessaela
Location: Moving to F3
Action: Not enjoying the new thrill ride courtesy of Destiny City and Calamitous Hollow. Following Lyndin and Vanguard group

The thrill of just being able to hold hands never got old. The moment of course was slightly ruined by the appearance of Rhysi who was coming over to scan her hand. The intrusion into the moment was light-hearted thanks to Tenoch's commentary but deep inside she might have scowled. Shaking it off though wasn't too hard. All she had to do was look at the rest of the group and knowing that even though things were still rocky, they were still a tight-knit group.

Even as the void swallowed everyone whole as lightning flashed all around them did Nessa hold tightly onto the hand that she now clung to like a life line. The feeling of being twisted all about, being hot and cold and in general very uncomfortable had the Corporal wishing that maybe it would have been wiser to stay home. But who would watch Itztenoch's back if not she?

Even as they arrived did Nessaela feel like the world was still spinning and she gamely pulled back the sleeve on her left hand to see that she had not left the bracelet somewhere else before sighing in relief. It was still there. Fishing the pin out from her bag she fastened it onto her uniform before gasping at the sight of wherever it was they were. This is almost fascinating if not for the certain and probable death we all might meet in a few minutes time, was her thought before she glanced up and caught sight of what appeared to be a giant beast. I think I need to amend minutes to seconds, especially if that thing just simply falls out of the sky onto us.

She wanted to pull Tenoch away from the madness but even she knew that the Commodore would need her added strength in order to finish setting up whatever it was he was tinkering with. Her gaze was solemn but her heart was racing ...
