Deep Space Sailor Tianyi
Action: Alone; trying so very hard to be brave and putting on the bracelet and pin

Tianyi was glad to see Chillingham, and though she didn’t stay for long, he still gave her a friendly wave as she darted past. There was plenty to focus on, anyway; there were so many people showing up.

Maybe it made sense. If their home was threatened, it just seemed right that everyone would want to show up to help. All across different factions—plenty of Knights and Senshi; the Negaverse, too, which made sense if they really wanted to help, like Jet had said; even strange Senshi in black with pretty gauzy overlays that Tianyi had never seen before. Another group, too, clustered together, all in similarly colored uniforms and with one of the tallest men Tianyi had ever seen in their midst.

Oh, goodness.

Tianyi felt…tense. But, funnily enough, he didn’t think he felt scared. Maybe it was because there were so many people here and failure seemed impossible. Maybe it was because he had already witnessed the end of one world, even if he hadn’t known it. Maybe it was because he was so beyond being afraid that all he could do was be brave.

But he didn’t really want to scream or run or hide, even if that would probably make sense. No, instead he took a deep breath and bolstered himself, so that even when the sky changed, even when the winds worsened and his ears dipped low with discomfort, he still stood firm.

And there was a gift.

Tianyi had no idea who Almadel was besides what he had heard other people say, but he resolved that he would have to meet him at some point. At least to thank him face to face for this. For the pin and bracelet that Tianyi slipped on. He could have tucked the pouch away, perhaps, but he held it close to his chest, hoping. Wanting. Clutching it like a talisman against whatever was to come.

Deep Space Sailor Elkurud
Action: Reuniting with his one true love~

Elkurud had his eyes on the sky. He hated everything happening here; hated the way the wind changed, hated the oppressive feeling in the air. About the only thing he didn’t hate was the glittery gift bag that descended from the sky; a gift from a stranger, sure, but magical gifts from strangers were welcome, in dire moments like these.

After all, they had to trust it. They had to trust whatever aid they could take, because there was a world-ending monster bearing down, and so the pin was affixed on his collar and the bracelet went around his wrist, and he hoped that they were as useful as they seemed. Or moreso, even. Little magical trinkets like that tended to be more than met the eye, and Elkurud was a little excited to see what this one would do.

But all of that stopped mattering in a single moment.

Because there was an all too familiar voice, and he turned, and—

“Amateru?”

It couldn’t be. Except that it was. His fiancé, there, in front of him.

Without an ounce of hesitation, he threw himself forwar,d arms coming around Amateru’s waist and face burying in his chest.

“I can’t believe it’s you. I’ve missed you so much, more than I can say, I—”

He had missed Amateru like lungs missed air when a person was drowning.

And suddenly, he could breathe again.

All of this would be alright. It had to be, because if they found each other again just for the world to end, that would be absolute bullshit, and Elkurud wasn’t going to tolerate it.

Super Corrupt Hylonome
Roll: 65
Action: Taking in the sight of sprawled Hatsya & Prehnite with guarded expression. Turning her attention to all gathered around and then attending to the bag that has floated down in front of her face.

Hylonome's response to Prehnite's greeting was held back at the sudden appearance of Hatsya. Well, well, well. At least there was a bit of a comical relief as the tableau of tangled limbs continued for much longer than it was necessary. But Hylonome didn't laugh like Actaea had. Instead she pushed the smile off of her face but her eyes still danced a little at the sight. Awkward didn't begin to explain the situation. The fact of the matter was that she couldn't bring herself to blame Hatsya ... it wouldn't be fair.

Instead of worrying about what had been Hylonome's gaze once more tried to move past the group around her in order to determine just how many individuals had come to this hilltop. Her palms absently came together before she rubbed at her arms in an effort to ward off a phantom chill. Oh great, become a basket case before the battle even starts. That'll go over well with the Negaverse. Although I wonder what it would take for them to kick me loose..

Prehnite's words from before echoed in her mind before she simply closed her eyes. As much as this was bringing back some unpleasant realizations she would have to push through it. The surge in pressure as well as the massive shifting of the crowd brought Hylonome's attention to the sky. Okay, what in the actual heck was trying to breach the wall of cloud? Her heart rate spiked at the overwhelming pressure bearing down on those gathered before she saw the explosion of glitter.

The appearance of a cloth bundle before her had Hylo's gaze narrowing in thought before she absently grabbed at the fabric. She watched as Sodalite fingered the items that were contained in his pouch and she opened hers, finding the exact same trio of objects. Weird. But whomever you are, thanks for the distraction.

Nembus, Super of Electromagnetism &
Elliott
Action: Talking with Phaethon
Rolls: 27/87

"See, Nembus, you will be safe." Perhaps safe was an ... exaggeration, considering what they were facing, but in that moment the mission was to stop his bonded senshi from losing her mind. "We will help you escape if need be, if their attentions turn away from the priorities to us. That being said," Elliott paused, letting his gaze scan over the field nearby and in front of them.

Did he think their chaotic enemies cared terribly much about individuals of Order right now? Not particularly, no.

"I wouldn't worry about it."

Nembus felt like she couldn't quite breathe with how heavy the pressure from above was. Or ... Perhaps it was the anxiety inside of her, welling up to the surface, in combination with everything else. The electricity hadn't concerned her quite as much as how much it felt like the world was weighing down on them. Was it just them? Could their fellow man feel it, without the powers of Cosmos?

"You're asking me not to worry?" Her laughter was hollow. "Elliott, you forget who you speak to."

Elliott's brow knit. Perhaps someday, his bonded would have more confidence.

Eridu, Page of Cybele &
Ibirapitá, Senshi of Shade
Action: Talking with each other
Rolls: 73/43

"Do you feel that, parent of the innkeeper?"

Eridu's gaze rolled up to Ibirapitá as they deftly snatched their own bag out of the sky. "The pressure?"

"Aye."

"Yes. Also, I thought you were done calling Abzu the innkeeper-" this was said idly as Eridu thumbed through the things the sky just handed them. Or this Almadel, apparently. Eridu recognized the name. Abzu had brought him up before. Of course, Eridu hadn't quite realized he was a sky alien, but ... might-as-well be at this point.

Ibirapita's concern with the bag, as much as he had grabbed it, seemed nonexistent. His gaze was moreso fixated on the way the sky above them pulsed with electricity. "I refer to him as such as his generosity has kept me on his planet. Unfortunate that it may lead to my demise."

"Unfortunate? That's new for you."

Ibirapita's noise was not nearly as graceful as he tried to visibly come off. "Do not miss my point. Abzu tried to keep me alive. It may fail anyway."

Promethei, Knight of Mercury
Action: Spotting husband & Nectaris ... and also a familiar corrupt?
Roll: 94

"Not yet, no," Promethei let Imhotep thumb through his own bag dropped, simply taking his own into his hand. He figured if there was anything Promethei should immediately prioritize in there, his husband would let him know. "'course, there's hundreds of people over here. También, eres el más alto."

If anyone had a decent chance of spotting Emain Ablach in this absolute mess, it was him--

The movement of a taller man with long blond hair caught his attention first. Promethei's brow lifted in recognition--he knew that ********, alright--and his lip quirked in amusement. "Huh. Looks like Cryolite found him, first. Or them, even."

It was doubtful Cryolite was running toward Emain Ablach. He was likely trying to find the spark of pink Promethei got a flash of between the flashes in the air.

Did Emain Ablach know about Nectaris' boy woes? Promethei had certainly mentioned Cryolite before when he was mentioning why Nectaris wanted him to meet up with someone, but he didn't necessarily come equipped with every piece of information about that someone. Promethei had said Cryolite was someone who Nectaris seemed quite enamoured with who she seemed fairly certain could purify, but he hadn't necessarily shared what Cryolite had said directly to him.

... That had been a challenge in and of itself. Promethei wasn't the best at holding secrets entirely away from his husbands. Holding secrets, sure. From them?

Perhaps it didn't matter in any case. Emain Ablach was about to know a lot more, either way.

"Suspect he's looking for Nikki, though. She's also over there." In case his husbands didn't catch that same movement, Promethei gestured for them to follow him as he moved to approach Emain Ablach and Nectaris.

Cadet Lysvi
Action: Talking with Yddagen and Neryn
Roll: 76

There was a comfort, in a way, of being near at least two other Velencians but not the cluster that had gathered around Lyndin. Lysvi knew their brother understood them, and Neryn earned the ghost of a smile despite everything around them. They knew Neryn understood, too, their different inclinations toward those of Earth. Lysvi did not view them so much as a convenient source to use as a people they desired to be part of, in some ways, longevity or not.

Not that being part of any people would happen if they died to whatever was above them. Lysvi glanced up to see a flash of scales and shifted uncomfortably.

How massive was this creature, truly? Could it actually outright consume worlds instead of simply in hyperbole?

Lysvi let out a quiet snort. "I mean, we do have distance weapons, right? Perhaps we can intercept it before it lands."

How high the chances of that were were ... questionable.

General Prehnite
Location: With Team AtroBella on the Hillside
Action: Examining the Pouch, debating Almadels kindness.
Roll: 64

“Was that a curse at me, or?” Spoken in hushed tones as Hatsya rejected the hand up outright, independent as always, truly it was part of her charm. And so Prehnite found himself waiving similarly the offer off with a gentle motion, the barest twitch of fondness across his features, something near enough to be a smile on his face. “At the situation in general—“ he hummed while gesturing at the skies around them, all ill tidings and pressured gloom. Terrible weather. Terrible doom. “—it could be worse, you know? I can’t recall a time I’ve ever been given a gift before being thrown into a serpent's den…..though Almadel can kindly keep his…ah..affections to himself. I’m still not sure if all his treasures act as monkey paws or not.”

Rather than clamber to stand again, he stayed sat as Hatsya did, decidedly there was nothing too wrong with feeling grass beneath his fingers for what could be a final time —

If we’re to be leaving Earth—

And there'd be no true way of knowing, would there? Looking from Sodalite playing with his own pouches contents, to Hylonome refusing to catch his eyes with her gaze sunk into her own, he couldn’t help but look back to Hatsya - to reach and try and brush a bit of residual glitter free of her.

It seemed everyone would get a prize bag whether they wanted one or not.

“You know, Sodalite? It couldn’t hurt to try and see…as none of these come with any orders from our own…Almadel is much like the salesperson from the pet shop of horrors? A peddler of wares…” He thought to leave it up to his subordinates to make their own calls, he’d only drag them so far down a path, and could only offer what little he believed. There were no hard facts here that he could point to. Not for anything. “I can’t imagine him giving us these purely out of altruism alone..he’s not running a charity...”

“But? If that’s the case…“ and he did bother to put the trinkets on, while scrutinizing the berry, plotting a way to save it for later and — wouldn’t it be nice if he could plant it somewhere? Sometime? To grow a bushel if they had any use at all? That stayed in subspace. Looking at Hatsya again — at her pouch — and he wondered not only after the words she’d spoken and if they spelled his doom, but also if she needed help with that pin….if at all she chose to wear it.

We’re everyone’s bags truly the same? How many times had other prizes come back to bite him before now?

“I could help with your pin…” A little bit of a back to Earth, and maybe Hylo needed it too? A reminder that this hill was not like any others, that this moment in time was a temporary one, one that would feel frozen before rapidly moving past them. That he was human, fallible, flesh — and so were they — a shame when he could’ve been — oh — something greener, someday, he hoped. But not on this one.

Pouch Items:
Quote:
Inside each bag are three items:
A tiny pin with a purple diamond; it is roughly the size of a dime and can be attached to any fabric material. Attaching to Vest.
A round, purple berry that was firm to the touch and smelled sweet; it had a soft skin and was roughly the size of a cherry tomato. - Saving it in Subspace
A bracelet that demands to be worn; something about it compels you to keep on your person. It is simple silver but has a multi-faceted, raindrop shaped gemstone charm dangling from it. The teardrop shaped gemstone has a silver glint to it and might have appeared clear if it weren’t for the swirling white mist trapped inside. Energy hummed inside these crystals–harvested, stored. Waiting to be used. There is a familiarity about them, though it may be hard to place. The Negaverse might feel as if it is a strange summoning, a call to arms. - Wearing It.

Sailor Aberdonia of Papyrus
Roll: 22

Aberdonia watched as the sky began to rupture disturbingly, but, in the split second before the sky shattered, a beautiful little velvet bag appeared in front of each person. Fascinated, he reached toward it with both hands, catching the small package, reading the card respectfully. Almadel. Huh. No idea who that was, except that they didn't seem to want the Earth to get devoured, so that was reason enough to trust their little care packages.

As he loosed the golden cord holding his closed, he pawed through the contents gently. The berry offered no immediate usage, but a usage would probably present itself in time. Still, he put the pin and bracelet on, as that seemed like a good idea. Snugging the cord closed again, he looked around to see who else had joined since he'd last looked. Totoro had arrived, and seemed to be standing with another very young senshi, some older senshi, and one of the Mauvians, this one an elegant desert cat with lavender fur. Huh. He didn't know Mauvians could be differently colored than mortal cats, but, then again, he didn't really know very much about Mauvians in general. Aruna and her friends had arrived, too, but they appeared to be busy at the moment.

Tianyi had also arrived, and seemed to be standing by himself, as well. Shrugging slightly to himself, he made his way over to the alien senshi, waving. "Hi," he quietly greeted the other senshi. "Glad to see you." Tianyi looked a bit tense, and if he felt as uncertain as Aberdonia did, maybe they could be uncertain together.

Chibi Sailor Aquitania of Courage
Roll: 25

Aquitania tilted her head thoughtfully as Realta greeted her. "I haven't tried anything out, yet, but I'm the Chibi Senshi of Courage, right? So it probably has to do with helping people be brave. It may not be a lot, but on a night like this, I think everyone could use a little courage," she added, chewing through the words as she spoke. It seemed...right. Even if not everyone here wanted to be her friend after tonight, as far as she was concerned, they could use the courage to stand up to something that ate planets, and that felt, somewhere deep down inside, like the logical conclusion to what her magic could do.

She nodded to Totoro as he arrived, glad to see a fellow chibi senshi had also made it, and she wouldn't be the only one there.

Turning to the blindfolded senshi, the darkly clothed man, and the fluffy white Mauvian, she smiled and waved. "Hi! I'm Chibi Sailor Aquitania, Senshi of Courage." Realizing that the other senshi probably couldn't see the wave, she awkwardly cut the gesture off, scuffing the toe of one boot in the dirt. "Ummm...I think if you can blind the Calamitous Hollow, that's a good thing. I mean, maybe it's too big and nasty to blind, but I don't think that means your magic is useless here tonight," she added.

Turning to the man who pulled out a chain with a ball at the end, the chibi senshi nodded. "I'll stay away from that, it looks like a good way to get badly hurt." Judging by how her magic probably worked and how Totoro's magic and Metis' magic definitely worked, the darkly clothed man probably wouldn't go wanting for a support team if he wanted to hit the Calamitous Hollow very, very hard between the eyes.

At that moment, the sky seemed to rupture, and a blue velvet bag seemed to float down to each person. Reaching up, Aquitania caught hers, opening it, and rifling through it curiously, after checking the tag. No idea who Almadel was, but they were probably a friend to an awful lot of people tonight, which seemed to be a good thing. She put the pin on her collar and slipped the bracelet on, closing the bag and tying the golden cord to her belt for safety. She could figure out what to do with the berry later.

Dark Mirror Meleph, Senshi of Disgust
Action: Listening, mostly. A bit overwhelmed.
Roll: 38

It was hard for Meleph to detect if those around her knew each other at all or simply clustered around Remarque as the familiar figure of their leader. For Meleph, he wasn't as familiar as he should have been, but that was in part because it was his wife that had convinced her over. Meleph knew Remarque in the way a lot of people knew their friend's spouses; she knew him as a nice person but not necessarily deeply.

So to see the way others interacted with him was something of a quiet fascination, along with trying to figure out who everyone around her was.

It was, to be honest, a little bit overwhelming. Of course, she probably also wanted to know who she was destined to be dying with. ... Was it too late to ask to be hidden in Mirrorspace until this all hopefully blew over? She had cozy games she could play on her Switch while she waited-

Right, everyone was introducing themselves. At least she wasn't the only one who felt more disconnected, right? "Meleph, Disgust," offered she, as ways of greeting, before busying herself with whatever was in this bag. Who was Almadel, anyway?

... And who was the White Moon senshi approaching them?

General Borax
Action: Bracing himself and not summoning his weapon thank you
Roll: 27

Borax's gaze slid over to Tincalconite when he heard the nearly inaudible murmur. There was a minute lift to his lips when it was implied he would like that, one that reflected better in his eyes when Tincalconite said he'd think about it. "Think about it? And here I thought we were past that stage."

Borax said nothing further on that, though, gaze flicking downward toward Faustite and the different general Headache was now mirroring.

To Faustite, Borax nodded firmly. Right, no metal. That meant no ... a lot of things, honestly. It was with some level of regret he unclasped the daggers from his hip and disappeared them to the cold of subspace, likely to join wherever his trident would stay.

For now.

There was a minute spike of envy at seeing Hestia, of all people, receive the spike from Faustite. Did he trust her more than him? Did he find her more capable? By the same token, though, perhaps Borax could figure part of the truth. Borax's self-preservation was a particularly strong monster. To say he would prioritize the spike over himself was unlikely to be correct.

This was, unfortunately, part of the reason why his trident would stay tucked away until further notice. It limited, to a degree, what he could do. It also prevented him from dying from whatever was flying above them.

Which, nothing personal to the Albite of questionably motivational speeches, Borax would still prioritize getting out alive over dying with his brethren, there. Then, though, it seemed he was a remarkably rare breed even in this particular crew. Perhaps even moreso than getting out alive, though, was a rare opportunity Borax saw in the scales and sparks above them.

Could he harness that power?

If he could, what could he do with it?

Hydor, Eternal of Mesocyclones
Action: Talking with Ancha and Sasha
Roll: 23

"I haven't even powered up much in a while," responded Hydor with a derisive snort. He had kept to his normal patrols. He was certain Faust would have roasted him if he did not. Did he have other priorities with the war seemingly unchanging for years and a need to keep his apartment? Yes. "Your incessant texts alerted me to,"

Hydor waved his hand above his head to refer to whatever the hell was going on. World-ending, world-eating serpent? If he didn't live this reality, Hydor would have believed he actually stepped into a video game.

Perhaps it was unfortunate he didn't, or at least it was unfortunate he didn't step into a video game that was a bit more Mass Effect and a bit less Dark Souls. Mass Effect at least couple be redone a few times. As Ancha bantered with the cat she apparently already had a good rapport with, Hydor continued with, "Anyway, no, I don't know where Faust is right now. Probably sleeping."

He was a cat. Mauvians didn't have the same physical needs as a cat did, but Hydor sometimes doubted that with the way Faust acted-

If Faust was able, though, Hydor sent off a text his way anyway.
Strickenizedx
World is apparently ending. Coordinates are here.

"I can assure you there are other Mauvians here, though. Why are you trying to find them?" Hydor palmed the bag that dropped into range and gave it a cursory glance before ignoring it for the moment. Almadel was likely giving them something that would be helpful later. Or painful. Hopefully helpful. "Think it's a bit too late for them to make any new tech to deal with whatever this is."

Captain Reidite
    Page 11
    Chatting with Ako and Akaganeite.

Reidite snorted in amusement when Ako said she had utter faith in the abilities of their Generals. Oh, was she being serious? She was clearly new to all of this.

But he held out his hand to take hers, still amused by her enthusiasm. Hopefully it wouldn’t die out with a chomp from a giant serpent.

“Reidite,” he introduced. He didn’t have to explain that he was also one of Aquamarine’s subordinates, because just then a voice came through the communicator, specifically for himself and Akaganeite.

“Best judgment is lot of alcohol,” he rolled his eyes and shared a glance with Akaganeite. It seemed as though Aquamarine didn’t actually need them nearby to tell them what to do. That was fine. Aquamarine wasn’t the type to turn his subordinates into his own personal secretaries, for which Reidite was grateful for. And why he tolerated being there in the first place. And it was good to know that Aquamarine was already willing to fight for them if they ran into trouble.

With the winds picking up and the sky seeming to fall with flashes of light, it seemed like they would find out soon how screwed the Earth really was.

The gift bag that appeared was quickly snatched from the air. Donning the pin and bracelet seemed important, so that was what Reidite did.

Ilmari, Corrupt Super of Chastity
Roll: 92
Action: listening, paying attention, then gift-bag things. With Team Faustite.

Questions abounded as more and more of the team appeared beside Faustite. While Ilmari didn’t know the answers to any of them, he paid attention regardless. After the whole experience last summer at Almadel’s museum, Ilmari had very little desire to see him ever again, but if the dragon-man had help to offer, it hardly mattered what Ilmari wanted. At least the vast majority of Faustite’s team was coming out for the upcoming fight. They needed all hands on deck, and a good showing from the team might help make it clear that they were nobody to trifle with.

About the only person Ilmari didn’t recognize was the Ascended General (Niter), but that didn’t matter either. Magnus apparently recognized him, and if the Ascended General was here to help, that was the most important thing.

“Boss,” Ilmari finally piped up in response to Albite, “can you please not tempt fate like that?” Not that Ilmari thought they were guaranteed to make it through this situation unscathed. Obviously, they weren’t. Potential apocalypse and everything—that carried the risk of death for everyone involved, including the team. “Let’s keep the word ‘if’ out of our mouths and work on manifesting a version of this where all of us make it through to the other side?”

The gift-bag that appeared before Ilmari seemed to want that for them, if the tag hanging off it was any indication. But despite the bracelet compelling Ilmari to put it on, he resisted. The little gem, he pinned on his fuku, near the crack in his chest, but before doing anything with the bracelet, Ilmari looked to Faustite. “Sir, does the order to remove metal objects stand with the bracelet? Or should we trust it because it came from Almadel?”

Eternal Kamacite

Kamacite was silent for a little while after Jasper responded about the shields. He could see the way both he and Lopezite watched him expectantly. So, with flushed cheeks from embarrassment that they’d have to watch him in the first place, Kamacite quickly opened the energy bar to take a bite.

We’ll know who to blame.

It was alien technology, of course. He knew Jasper probably didn’t mean anything by it, but that lingering knowledge in the back of his mind always popped up when aliens were involved.

Senshi are often considered aliens. But he kept the thought to himself as he stared down at his energy bar. It was why they were protecting Earth. To get rid of the alien threat. Just like they were fighting now.

Thankfully he didn’t have to think about it for too long, because the winds picked up and, as Jasper probably expected, Kamacite’s balance was immediately thrown off. He gasped in surprise when he nearly got knocked over, but remained upright thanks to Jasper’s quick thinking.

He gave him a silent nod of thanks and-- oh!

The bag Jasper reached for left him with a glitter covered hand. He stared curiously for a moment before cautiously taking his own and inspecting it, but was listening for the response of Lopezite's question to make sure Jasper wasn’t actually hurt by the glitter.

Super Sailor Surtur of Desolation

While Surtur offered Rainier a charming smile of reassurance, his eyes were soon on the sky above them. The light flashed quickly, and he could only hope that all of their work on the shields would hold.

The appearance of the bag was a welcome sight, and Surtur held out his hand to accept it graciously.

“Almadel has been working hard. It was thanks to him that we have shields in the first place. The man is truly a mystery and full of secrets. So many secrets that he likely does not recall them immediately when trouble is brewing.”

He was certain there were probably other things that Almadel could have gifted them… had he thought about it. He wouldn’t know what Earth and those who lived there needed unless asked. Surtur didn’t blame him for it. His own head was often full of thoughts and wonders. And hope.

And the gift Almadel bestowed upon them certainly brought hope along with the few items it held.

“Let us face this storm head on, dear friend! There is too much to live for to meet our end here. And,” he paused with a sheepish grin. “I did promise Almadel his pick of the things on my World for his assistance. I’d like to be present when he selects the best items!”

Thalassa, DSS of Exhaustion

Roll: 81.
Action: mild annoyance without any energy behind it—at least, not until he glares over at a certain Tyndareus. With Pyrrhus and Troilus.

Before Pyrrhus could answer Thalassa’s question, the sky ripped open. And right on cue, Troilus appeared as if out of nowhere, taking umbrage with how Thalassa had phrased things. That was probably fair, but it didn’t stop Thalassa from frowning and wrinkling his nose at his friend. The sort of grumpy expression often found on cats being forced to wear cute outfits for the Internet while plotting to s**t all over everything their humans loved.

“Until I remember his name, he’s New Taran,” Thalassa insisted, reaching out to grab the little blue velvet bag that appeared before him. “Whether you end up in any given arrangement with him or not. He’s like……” Thalassa limply gestured with one hand, flicking it in no particular direction. “The non-magical tagalong who’s primarily attached to you but generally inoffensive and he probably doesn’t want to do ‘get help’ or a similar ruse because he’s too earnest. At least that’s how he sounds to me.”

Which was probably one of the nicest things that Thalassa had ever said about Taran, even if he did so indirectly. Picking on Troilus’s husband had been a favorite pastime of his, once upon a time, but he couldn’t muster the energy for it right now. Maybe the looming end of this world had something to do with it, but who knew and who cared. Not Thalassa, if he were honest. Despite the obviously Big And Stressful nature of the situation at hand, Thalassa found himself feeling not very much at all.

Until, as he slapped the metal bracelet on his wrist, he glanced over at the General-Sovereigns from the Negaverse. Initially, he looked back to Pyrrhus and Troilus—but a familiar flash of green hit the corner of his eye as he did. Thalassa’s head whipped back around. He squinted in the direction of a fuku with a long, green overskirt thing and a distressing amount of black. There was something familiar about the Corrupted senshi’s silhouette.… Too many things different for Thalassa to feel certain, but too many things similar for him to let it go.

“Am I losing my mind,” he said, voice straining to stay deadpan, “or do we recognize that particular Chaos-infected son of a b***h?”

Personal preference, but Thalassa seriously hoped that he was just going crazy. He could live with going crazy. But Tyndareus—the last of their number, the one who had fallen during his and Pyrrhus’s stupid stunt with the crown, their ******** friend—reincarnating and falling into the clutches of Chaos? Even thinking about that made Thalassa feel sick with outrage and the desire to beat the s**t out of something.

Connie, Squire of Chronos
Trying to not get blown away. With Belmont.

Normally, Connie was chipper and excited to help out with things. She liked new experiences and even things like museums in space didn’t scare her too much!

But she couldn’t help the feeling of dread that crept over her as the sky rolled with purple clouds, or how the trees thrashed in the wind. She held tightly to her little tree as she tried to remain upright in the bursts of wind around them.

She almost didn’t see the little bag that appeared in front of her, but caught it before it hit the ground.

“Are you okay?” she chirped nervously, trying to speak over the wind as she looked to make sure Belmont was still close by. She didn’t expect so many people to be there, but was grateful to see them. Maybe they would all work together to protect the Earth instead of fighting each other.

Lucien - Cat Form
On Alastor's shoulder. With Sessrumnir, Solaris, Ganymede, Valhalla, and Oberon.
    Page 14

Lucien scowled into the wind and dug his claws into Alastor’s shoulder. He fought back the compulsion to try and keep his fur from getting too roughed up, but doubted there would be time to smooth out his tail until everything was over. The bag that appeared was snatched out of the air like a cat toy being dangled in front of him.

They’d already crossed the threshold beyond the calm before the storm.

Corrupt Eternal Sailor Chrysocolla of Moods
Action: With Beatrix/Meissa, equipping bracelet/pin
Roll: 100
"We can hope, I guess." It would be a really nice day if somehow at the end of this a few Princesses had "mysteriously" died! Chryscolla could really use that kind of mood pick-me-up. Life didn't usually go her way to that extent, but maybe if she tried to utilize the power of positive thinking - which wasn't a real thing anyway - she might get lucky.

She planted her feet firmly, ponytail lifted behind her by the wind into a streak of seafoam, and let the bag fall into her waiting hands. The bracelet went on her left wrist, the pin on her tunic, and the berry into her subspace; after a moment she reconsidered, took the bracelet off, and managed to slide it onto the base of her ponytail instead. It'd stay on tighter there, held in place by her hair.

Corrupt Super Sailor Pax of Reverberation
Action: With Team Shaitan
Roll: 64
The rest of it didn't matter. The rest of it was an indistinct blur of noises and people and too many ******** people making them want to rip their ******** skin off whenever anyone brushed too close, they didn't know these people, these were strangers. The only person who was easy to understand right now was Faustite, and Pax stuck close to him like a magnet.

Good working with you, they directed towards Faustite, but they're all so loud, assholes. Their everpresent scowl hadn't exactly faded - if anything it had intensified by several notches to wrap around into a flat-faced coldness, more threatening by the complete lack of affect.
Well, if they were going to die, at least they would die getting to b***h to their General-King about how they hated it here. It could be worse. Steadfastedly, Pax didn't think about anything else; their garden, their plans, their family. Only the moment. Only that.

Half-Youma General Larimar
Action: With Capt. Nagyagite
Roll: 19
Larimar bit back some kind of pithy quip and resisted the urge to roll zyr eyes. This guy looked ill-at-ease already - a year and a half ago, ze would've played along, kept to the lines and roles of the Negaverse, but now it just felt all off. Awkwardly-fit. "You don't have to stand on ceremony, Captain, it's the ******** apocalypse." One wing angled itself slightly inwards, like a raised shoulder, mirroring body language ze didn't actually make. "If these bracelets are going to kill us all, then it's our brave leaders' fault for not telling us to throw these in the garbage."

It was supposed to only be a sneer, but the whole thing came out with considerable spite. Yeah. Sure. Their brave leaders, one of who had very nearly almost killed zem with full murderous intent. Their brave leaders, who, for all their magic and their technology, either couldn't or wouldn't determine a way to unfuse a starseed from a half-youma state. Those leaders.

Super DSS Róka of the Undertow
Action: With Nekoite, Hy-Brasil, Grieve
Roll: 35
Oh? Free things? They certainly wouldn't turn that down. Roka snatched that bag out of the air - they were given to be a little more benevolent with Almadel, given he'd been how they'd regained their Collar in the first place, and he was attractive enough - and fit the bracelet onto their right wrist, pin and berry disappearing into their pockets in one swift motion.

Their fingers flexed, longing for a weapon that was lost to the annals of time, longing for what one did when faced with an overwhelmingly powerful beast - the predator's sacrament, they had rites for this, rituals, practices, things no-one else in the universe had practiced for centuries upon centuries - but there was no time to do anything but get ready to leap.

There were no words for the feeling in their eyes as they looked up, and up, and up. But it was perhaps the most they had felt about anything since coming to Earth at all. Something white-hot and raw and achingly ready.

(And they offered Grieve back an equally obscene and equally ancient gesture, because that was what one did.)
