Hobbies:
Baking: Mari has always had a wicked little sweet-tooth, but it wasn't until the day she tried a cake recipe herself that she realized her passion for making treats. Whenever she isn't busy with school or friends, she's in the kitchen whipping up batter, decorating macarons, or nosing through cook books for ideas on what to bake next. She figures she's logged over a hundred baking related videos on Youtube, too, most of which were for the sake of teaching herself.
Scrapbooking: When she isn't trying to make top-tier icing for her cakes and cookies, Mari has her hands busy with good old fashioned glue, glitter, and paint. Making scrapbooks has always been a way for Mari to keep and share memories, while letting herself get a little messy and creative in the process. She's even considered making a class at the library, or an after school club.
Blogging: While scouring the internet for tips and tricks on galaxy icing and paper mache, Mari discovered the wonderful world of internet blogging. Her blog, Notes From A Butterfly, is devoted to her baking, scrapbooking, and her day to day life as a schoolgirl in Destiny City. She does daily updates, sometimes multiple if something really exciting happens, and already has quite a substantial amount of followers. She also uses her blog to share her own tips and tricks, like all of the other blogs before her. She feels good knowing that she might help someone else get started with their own projects one day.
Virtues:
Clever: Mari is a witty, intelligent girl who finds learning to be completely natural, almost innate. Of course like any other person, she has her intellectual weaknesses and struggles with certain subjects, but she's never been someone to give up when she doesn't understand something. She utilizes every tool in the toolbox until she either gets it right, or she needs to look elsewhere for guidance. There's a tutorial for everything these days, after all.
Punctual: Rain or shine, Mari has always been a girl who keeps her appointments and her eye on the time. Even when she's busy kneading dough or literally watching paint dry on one of her crafts, she makes sure that she has her phone alarm set for that lunch date with the girls or that important after school program she'd agreed to help with. On the off chance that she's late, though, she doesn't waste time putting herself down for it and apologizes. Sometimes getting powdered sugar out of her hair takes a little longer than expected or she misses her bus. It's nothing to get upset about.
Complimenting: As a lover of all things beautiful and creative, Mari can't help but stop and compliment someone when she feels it's due. Your new hair color? Incredible. Those posters you made in art class for the school play? Ingenious and spot on. Even things as small and seemingly innocuous as wearing new diamond studs can net you Mari's attention and fervent adoration, at least until she notices something else worth going gaga over.
Flaws:
Gossip: Whether from the mouths of her friends or from the pages of tabloid magazines, Mari eats gossip and rumors up as though they were fruit off of a vine. It would be so much better for her and everyone else around her if she kept it to herself, but where's the fun in knowing a juicy story and not sharing it with others? To her, gossip is just a part of everyday socialization, and if she happens to get dragged along in someone else's tall tale, she can just use that to her advantage.
Dishonest: Despite her genuine compliments, Mari has a terrible habit of stretching the truth in more ways than one. Though she doesn't go for outright tall-tales at first, she does like to build up to them as she feels she can. Little white lies slip out first, such as how much sugar she put in her frosting or what she had for lunch, before she starts lying about where she's been and who she told what and when. And, being true to her clever nature, she always has a few good excuses up her sleeve if one of her lies comes back to bite her.
Obsessive: Mari has a tendency to get so involved with something that it not only incorporates itself into every aspect of her life, but it essentially becomes her life. It started out with small, "normal" things like everything she owned needing to be pink or collecting bunny plushies, before it gradually stepped up to celebrity worship and spending every dollar she has on merchandise for a fad that would fade away in a week. If she loves something enough, she'll bend over backwards for it and do everything she can to make it hers.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Large, olive-green, usually framed with glasses (if she remembers where she put them). Wears mascara.
Hair: Mid-back, straight with some curl, honey mustard blonde. She prefers to wear it up in pigtails or a messy side ponytail.
Face: Oval face, gentle features. She darkens her cheeks with blush and likes to wear dark lipstick. (Like black, dark gray, deep red-brown... etc)
Clothes: When not prancing around in her uniform, Mariposa wears pretty much whatever she can dig out of her closet. A rule of thumb is, if her outfit ever matches perfectly or is completely black, she's probably sick or having a bad day.

Sailor Scout Attack: Rumor Has It!
Aletheia points directly at her target and calls out her attack, causing a short burst of red light to fire from the tip of her finger. This light turns into an ethereal ribbon that disappears upon contact with her target and leaves their mind riddled with vague rumors about themselves, someone they know, or anything else relevant to their life.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Haven't You Heard?
Quickly pointing at two chosen targets, Aletheia calls out her attack and casts two separate ribbons. However, the rumors spinning around them are very loud, much more specific, and perhaps, even accurate.

Eternal Sailor Attack: All Around Town!
After calling out her attack, Aletheia throws her palms out and fires a large red beam of light. This light then spreads out into a ten foot long spinning ribbon that wraps around part of the battlefield. Those inside the ribbon remain unharmed physically but are surrounded by a cacophony of rumors and may start shouting rumors/secrets that they themselves have heard or otherwise spout gibberish.
(Note: This cannot cause someone to blurt out their secret identity, the identities of others, or other secrets that require player permission! If you want that to happen, please make sure you clear it with not just me, but any other players that might be affected!)

An apartment in the heart of DC. She lives on the fourth floor and has view of the city from her bedroom window. (Apartment 417) It has two extra bedrooms which are currently being used for storage, but she is in the market for a roommate or two to help cover rent.
FAMILY/HISTORY
Though mostly forgotten after her corruption, Mari grew up with a physically and emotionally abusive father and an absent mother. Her younger sister moved out to live with her extended family three years before Mari was corrupted and, unbeknownst to Mari of course, still searches for her to this day.
Mariposa now lives alone in an apartment paid for mostly by her baking and art commissions, as well as with donations from fans. She hopes to find herself a job as a head baker or open her own store as soon as she graduates high school to fill in the rest of what she needs. However, she might consider college if she can find herself a good roommate or two.
Notes: Mariposa vaguely remembers her previous civilian life, but nightmares about her past always keep her from searching or trying to remember. Her previous life as a white moon senshi has a similar story, but she considers the Negaverse to be her new permanent "family" and wouldn't trust anyone from the order unless they're willing to corrupt. (Something tells her that she had some fake-a** teammates as a white moon senshi and she's not one who disregards her gut instincts)

PAST LIFE
(It's messy/bullet points)
- Young queen (25) of Aletheia. Inherits the throne after her father is taken out by her mother who flees to another kingdom with a lover. As she was raised from the beginning to become the next queen, young Aletheia is a very good, if not great, leader at first. Everyone loves her.
- She hires a pair of twins from a colony her family acquired to watch over her younger siblings, one of which she falls head over heels for, but he doesn't reciprocate her affections. The other twin, unfortunately for her, falls in love with her and she doesn't like him.
- At the same time, a prince from a very powerful neighboring kingdom is sent to initiate trade deals with Aletheia's kingdom and starts creating a lot of trouble for Aletheia by spreading rumors and literally never shutting up. People start questioning Aletheia's ability to lead and she becomes very, very upset about it.
- This also happens at the same time that a princess from Aletheia's childhood comes to visit her and the guard that isn't in love with Aletheia falls in love with her. He spends most of his time trying to get to know her, often to the amusement of Aletheia's siblings. The visiting princess is too oblivious to reciprocate his feelings and this drives him a little crazy.
- The prince, once he realizes that the guard who does love Aletheia is wildly jealous of his brother having Aletheia's affections, attempts to convince him to duel his brother to the death to get Aletheia's attention. This fails, as the guard is very loyal to his brother due to their past tribulations, and he instead kills the prince to silence him. The visiting princess witnesses the murder and, when spotted by the guard, flees to the courtyard and causes a scene.
- Due to the scene caused by the visiting princess, everyone suspects Aletheia of ordering the guard to kill the visiting prince for his behavior and his kingdom quickly declares war. With no loyalty left in her military due to the rumor, Aletheia is left defenseless when the armada comes and she and her siblings are taken as war criminals. The guard who killed the prince is found dead by his own blade, leaving his brother greatly bereaved. However, his sworn loyalty to the royal family of Aletheia prompts him to travel to the murdered prince's kingdom in an attempt to tell the truth and clear Aletheia's name, but he isn't believed by anyone except for the visiting princess.
- After being thrown out of the castle and essentially becoming homeless, the visiting princess offers him the job of being her personal guard. Together, putting aside all feelings, they hatch a plan to help Aletheia and her siblings escape before they're all executed. The plan succeeds up until they reach where Aletheia is being held, and realize that Aletheia has lost her mind while being imprisoned. She sees no point in trying to escape. All her loyal subjects have abandoned her and she has no hope left. The guard pleads with her for as long as he can before the visiting princess calls for him and alerts the prison guards to their presence. She manages to escape with Aletheia's siblings with the help of her animal companions and her kingdom's magic, but the guard, swearing loyalty to his queen and his brother's honor, stays with Aletheia until the guards find them together.
- Queen Aletheia and the guard found with her are executed, the final rumor being that Aletheia had ordered the guard to kill his brother after he killed the prince to try and cover up the crime. The visiting princess' kingdom is invaded in an attempt to find her and Aletheia's siblings, but the trio are never found.
