Aletheia felt like she was finally starting to get the hang of this. Well, okay, she'd found some time between her next blog post and her daily devoted commission work time to get out on the town and harvest energy. That wasn't quite the multi-tasking she'd been hoping for, but it was better than the record level strings of nothing she'd been setting for the past few weeks. She could be a little proud of herself if she wanted to be. Quota be darned!
"Ooo, cute phone case!" She quietly chimed, admiring the shiny pink-metallic quality of the case of the phone she'd found in the pocket of her latest victim. Whoever this person was, they clearly had some good taste. Still, she couldn't exactly pocket it for herself, could she? She looked down to the near-lifeless body she'd propped up against the alley wall next to her and back to the case again, before-pop!-off came the phone case and the now undecorated phone was returned to the lap of it's owner. It would be better use on her's, with a few personal modifications to make it her own, of course.
She shoved the case underneath the strap of the roses of her skirt and hustled up to the rooftop of the next building. It was a clear night, plenty of stars, and she was right near the district best known for everything music, fashion, and culture. She crouched and perched herself close to the edge of the building so she could observe everything going on below. There were several people, some in some rather custom looking outfits... Perhaps she could blend in? ... Nah, too risky. She'd stick to picking out any stragglers she could find and play it safe. Wouldn't want to break the streak she had going now, would she?
She scurried down to the next alley, a bit closer to the crowds now, and waited.Merurulince Again, I hope this is okay! (Especially the setting, I realized I forgot to ask about that before, but thought a nighttime fight closer to town would be cool? Please let me know if you'd like me to change this!)

Aogashima, as naive as she was, was never really the best at exercising caution when walking around in her powered form. Most people thankfully didn't pay her much mind, given her usual choice of hangouts, though her desire to live life like one of her idol animes might have rubbed some shoulders the wrong way here and there. She was, after all, the kind of person who would sing out loud along with whatever song was playing on the radio that she knew the lyrics to. Incidentally, that was what was happening at that very moment. A nearby shop known for its collection of music cds and artbooks from popular artists and series overseas was playing a preview of an upcoming single from one of the anisong idol groups Aogashima followed. The single would be coming out in a few days now, with the main highlight being a solo song by one of its members, Muteki-Kyuu*Believer, which had a rather catchy tune to it, if you had to ask her. In any case, it was a song she had played the short preview of time and time again ever since the commercial had aired, so Aogashima knew the lyrics by heart pretty much by now. "Woah woah, a mirror on the wall~" the teen sang aloud, as she walked down the street, "Woah woah, come on and laugh with me~"

Aletheia, in her crouched position in the alley, could just about hear the music playing nearby and couldn't help but bob along to it. Man, whatever this genre of music was, it was definitely up her alley. A trip down here the next time she had spare time as a civilian would be worth it just to check it out. For now, she had some energy to harvest before her midnight oil was spent. She leaned out and was just short of grasping for the arm of a stray civilian when she, abruptly, stopped and shrunk back into her former position.
An order aura. Not a terribly strong one, but enough to make her stop and reconsider. Luckily the person she'd tried to grab had been too distracted by their headphones to notice her hands in the split second they'd been there. Otherwise, boom, cover blown! She had some time now to form a strategy. She peered out again, staring daggers through the groups of people walking by, and frowned. Oh no, everyone was so dressed up here that it was difficult to pin down which person the aura was coming from! What a fine mess she'd set herself up with! She dragged her hands down her face and sighed. Well, if she couldn't pick them out, why not join them until she could? She stepped straight out into the alley and tried her best to look confident.
"Pardon me, please." She said, nudging past some people standing around. No aura from that group, though their passing comments on her outfit certainly didn't make her feel any more merciful toward them. She'd get them once she'd tracked and nullified the order threat.
The corrupt presented herself like she had somewhere to be and stared straight forward, a tactic she'd learned by watching tv. It was supposedly called the "murder walk" and it was effective at getting people that noticed it to get the heck out of your way. Some oblivious people would still get in her way, but she supposed not every tactic worked one hundred percent of the time. Eventually, though, she stopped right in front of the shop that was playing the song she'd been hearing and took a moment to read the storefront. Muteki-Kyuu*Believer, huh? She'd try to remember that.
It was then that she picked up on someone singing along with the song and turned her gaze down the sidewalk. Hm, the outfit on that girl made her stand out a bit. Could it be? She squinted, a rather sinister smile curling up on her features, and trotted her way behind Aogashima.
"Excuse me, miss?" She began, clasping her hands in front of herself and feigning admiration. "I'm a huge fan! Could I have your autograph?"
Now, she had no idea if Aogashima was actually famous outside of this, but the question served more as a way to distract her opponent long enough to land a strike. In any case, it was always fun to try to put people on the spot.

If Aogashima was perhaps a little smarter, she’d be more aware of the concept of, well, paying more attention to her surroundings, and the people she was interacting with. Powered auras, for one, were something the Cosmos page had yet to really grasp an understanding if, other than that people had them… or well, some people did? Add to that that she had yet to really run into any corrupts, and the fact was… … She was very delighted (surprised, but delighted!) that someone wanted her autograph. Did they recognize her voice from her vtuber streams? If Aogashima had more self-awareness, she may have realized that such a thing shouldn’t have been possible if she was powered up due to the nature of glamours, but the page was never the brightest star in the sky at times. “Oh, wow, I never thought I’d get to meet one of my fans in person!” the teen exclaimed cheerily, “Of course you can have my autograph! Um, do you have a book I can sign?”

Oh, this girl looked legitimately delighted that someone would come up and ask for her autograph! How... Sweet. Maybe she was starting out as a singer somewhere while she wasn't busy fighting for the order and the idea of having a real fan was so wonderful that she couldn't stop to check for danger. Goodness, this almost seemed too easy. ... Perhaps that's what she wanted Aletheia to think. Maybe she had backup somewhere unseen, but she couldn't feel any other order auras right now.
Overthinking or not, if she wanted to gather any more energy peacefully tonight, she'd have to take this little songbird out, and fast. The corrupt quickly clapped her hands over her mouth and feigned distress.
"A book? Oh no!" She gasped, glancing around on the ground with an increasingly worried posture. "I just realized, I dropped my bag in my hurry to catch up to you! It's got to be somewhere back along the sidewalk. Would you mind helping me look for it? I can't believe I could be so careless!"
Hopefully, if this page was naive enough not to check her aura the first time, she'd be easy to trick a second time. If she did end up picking up on her, there'd be no choice but to go straight for an attack out in the open. Otherwise, if she could get the girl to follow her back toward the alleys, she could reasonably subdue her and get back to gathering without causing any civilians to scatter. The latter would, obviously, be optimal in this situation, but she was willing to do whatever it took to neutralize any threat that came her way. Merurulince -Quietly adds that song to her favorites- 8'D I love cute music like that.
