Hobbies:
Birds: It started as something he would do with his grandfather when he would visit his family, he would go with his grandfather to "bird street" and marvel at the songbirds on display. It was, as a child, a wonder to him and something of a hidden world to his younger mind. His grandfather has always owned many birds, he can remember that from the visits over the years. When he turned ten he asked his mother for his first bird and since than he’s acquired a few more little birds. He hasn’t nearly as many as his grandfather, nor plans to, but he loves his little birds in their bamboo cages.
Martial arts: This started is a matter of pride for him and something which bring a spotlight to Fai, something he enjoyed. It started at a young age and has continued and grown since then. Attending competitions he is glad for the school he goes to in the city where he learns. The style of martial arts Fai studies is White Crane.

Attacks:
Sailor Scout Attack: Kappa Illusion!
With this attack he will bring up one of his hands and touching his forehead with his middle finger he will than point his index finger at his intended target, someone within an eight foot radius of him, and a pale green light will leave his finger tip directed at his target. If the attack hits it will last for 15 seconds and during those fifteen seconds the victim, be they chaos or order, they will find themselves trapped within a strong illusion. In this illusion they will see themselves in water and suddenly being grabbed and dragged further down by a kappa. This attack can be broken out of by those with a strong will and outside forced can also snap the victim from this illusion. The attack can be cast 3 times in battle.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Deep Illusion!
Pointing his middle finger at his forehead he than will point his index finger at his intended target, someone within an eight food radius of him, and send out a green light as he calls his attack. The attack this time will last for 25 seconds and can be used twice in battle. When the attack hits the target will be sunk into a strong illusion where they will feel as if they are in water and grabbed and pulled deeper into the water as they are bitten by the hungry kappa that is dragging them deeper.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Healing touch.
This attack focuses on the healing knowledge kappa of legend are said to posses, as it's said they taught people how to mend bones. So with this attack Cetus needs to be close to the injured party, within five feet of them. If he's touching them directly to the injured area it uses less energy from him as his attack doesn't need to travel the distance between him and the injured party. When this attack is called his hands will glow a soft, pale, green color and if placed onto the broken/sprained limb the energy will be absorbed into the skin and mend the broken/sprained limb. If at a distance the pale green light will leave his hands in a ripple of energy headed for the injured party and the broken/sprained limb he intends to heal. This attack does not fully mend a broken or sprained limb but it will heal 65% of the injury. It will permit the person to continue fighting but they must be very careful not to injure themself further, as they are not fully healed. They will need to rest afterwards of course so they can fully heal, perhaps even see a doctor. This attack can be used only once in battle and as it's an instant cast the duration depends completely on how long it takes to reach the 65% point of healing. This attack can also be used on torn muscles and ligaments.

  Cetus is a constellation, not just a single star, moon, or other celestial body. Its name refers to Cetus, a sea monster in Greek mythology, although it is often called 'the whale' today. Cetus is located in the region of the sky that contains other water-related constellations such as Aquarius, Pisces, and Eridanus.
Cetus may have originally been associated with a whale, which would have had mythic status amongst Mesopotamian cultures. It is often now called the Whale, though it is most strongly associated with Cetus the sea-monster, who was slain by Perseus as he saved the princess Andromeda from Poseidon's wrath. Cetus is located in a region of the sky called "The Sea" because many water-associated constellations are placed there, including Eridanus, Pisces, Piscis Austrinus, Capricornus, and Aquarius.[7] Cetus has been depicted many ways throughout its history. In the 17th century, Cetus was depicted as a "dragon fish" by Johann Bayer. Both Willem Blaeu and Andreas Cellarius depicted Cetus as a whale-like creature in the same century. However, Cetus has also been variously depicted with animal heads attached to a piscine body.
In Chinese astronomy, the stars of Cetus are found among two areas: the Black Tortoise of the North and the White Tiger of the West.
The Brazilian Tukano and Kobeua people used the stars of Cetus to create a jaguar, representing the god of hurricanes and other violent storms. Lambda, Mu, Xi, Nu, Gamma, and Alpha Ceti represented its head; Omicron, Zeta, and Chi Ceti represented its body; Eta Eri, Tau Cet, and Upsilon Cet marked its legs and feet; and Theta, Eta, and Beta Ceti delineated its tail.
In Hawaii, the constellation was called Na Kuhi, and Mira (Omicron Ceti) may have been called Kane.

Cetus is home to the barred spiral galaxy Messier 77 and several well-known stars: Deneb Kaitos (Beta Ceti), Menkar (Alpha Ceti), Tau Ceti and the famous variable star Mira (Omicron Ceti).
Cetus is the fourth largest constellation in the sky, occupying an area of 1231 square degrees.
It lies in the first quadrant of the southern hemisphere (SQ1) and can be seen at latitudes between +70° and -90°
Cetus has 14 stars with known planets and contains one Messier object, Messier 77 (M77, NGC 106 cool .
The brighest star in the constellation is Deneb Kaitos (Beta Ceti).
There are three meteor showers associated with Cetus: the October Cetids, the Eta Cetids, and the Omicron Cetids.

Respectful: Fai has grown up in a traditional sort of family, though his parents are slowly becoming more modern. He's been taught to respect his elders and those who are of a high position in the community. This has given him something of a reputation in their neighborhood for helping those who ask, even when he has to set something back a bit in order to help. There have been times when he’s been late to somewhere, or getting something done, because he’s helping someone else. This is all, of course, within reason. He’s not about to put aside something important to help the lady two houses down. Knowing how generally helpful he is those times he does have to turn down helping someone it’s generally understood that it’s due to something more important.
Responsible: Between birds, school, and a job, not to mention helping out around the house, it shouldn't be a surprise that Fai is a responsible young man. If he has something to do he will get it done, though maybe not on time, and he will always do his very best on whatever he is working on. Fai takes things seriously and while he may not get everything done on time he does try to get things done on time while not sacrificing quality. It's not just in these ways that he is responsible but Fai is good with the money he makes from work. The money he makes gets put aside.
Dedicated: When Fai gets it into his mind to do something, whether he decides on it or someone asks/tells him to do something, he will throw himself into it. If it's money, he will throw that to it (within reason) and he will do his best at whatever it is. This has resulted in many good projects and papers turned into his teachers in middle school and high school as well as how well he does in martial arts competitions. It's a dedication to what he's doing and if asked he might even admit that it's also pride.
Flaws:
Time management: It's not that he intends to be late for things, actually he dislikes being late for things, but he has the bad habit of losing track of time. Even when he has a watch on him he still manages to not look at it. This has caused a few issues with classes but he's been working on not doing anything within the hour leading up to needing to be in class. This new habit came about after a professor warned him he was getting dangerously close to being kicked out of the class due to lateness's and how it was interrupting the lesson.
Arrogant: Fai knows he is the best, you just need to learn it! It may come off as arrogance but it's not just him wanting everyone to think he's that great but he thinks he's that great also, he's swallowed his own koolaid sort to speak. It's not an empty thing though as he is a good student, a hard worker, and he is good in martial arts. So it's not like there is nothing to it but with Fai it's been inflated, many times over, in his own mind and he acts on it. It's of course gotten him into trouble and in over his head as he has a tendency to jump into things without much thought or consideration because he can handle it! It's also gotten him some enemies and rivals in both school and the dojo. Thankfully the only time fights have come of this they are always in the dojo and easily handled, sometimes with him winning and other times "him going easy" on the other person or "letting them win".
Pessimistic: Fai doesn't see the cup as half full as most around him do, or as most in general do. he knows and understands most people like to keep their hopes up, to see the best, but he just isn't like that. It's not that he likes to be a pessimist but it keeps him from getting his hopes up, only for them to crash at some point. But the problem comes in with friends and family when he pops their little happy bubbles as well, and he knows when he's doing it most of the time and does so on purpose.Why cheer for a football team you know hasn't got a chance? Why would he go into a tournament "knowing" he's going to win? This is something his mother does, and he always reminds he that it's not a sure thing as they've not seen the competition. He's the one who can kill a mood with his pessimistic view of things but he just thinks it's better than always seeing things as half full, it's easier that way, he just wishes others would understand.

Fai does wear contacts, but he has glasses also, as he needs them. Too long with his nose buried in books over the years, all in order to do well in school. He's sure this is the reason and which it might bother some people, needing glasses or ones eyes not being perfect, it doesn't bother him to be honest.
Speaks English, obviously, but also speaks Cantonese. He'd like to also learn Mandarin but he's yet to actually get to learning it, in part due to not finding someone to teach him as his family only speaks Cantonese.

Mother (Age: 49 ) - Xue-fang Liang would be is lovely mother who is doting, sometimes to the point of being a mother hen. She might speak softly and be all smiles but she is made of steel, she's not just some weak and fragile lady. Fai's mother has five children after all, it takes a hell of a woman to raise five well behaved children. Name means snow fragrant.
Father (Age: 50 ) - Feng Lian is Fai's father and a man of few words, though when he speaks it's wise to listen. A hard worker who provides for his large, by some standards anyway, family. Feng is proud of his wife and children and has tried, just as his wife has, to make every special event any of their children have going on. He and his wife really don't want to miss a thing in their childrens lives. First name means sharp blade, wind.
Elder brother (Age 26) - Xiang Liang is the eldest in the family and as his families first child he was given the name Xiang in the hopes it would bring him good luck, as that's just what the name means. He is currently a university student and is planning to become an accountant and make his family proud.
Elder sister (Age 24} - Chan-juan Liang the second child and the reason her parents and brother, Xiang, moved from China to the United States she is a university student though she also spends a good amount of her time at home with her mother. She and her mother have a good relationship with the two of them shopping often and laughing over all manner of things. Her name means The moon, graceful lady like. She was named this for the beauty of the moon and in the hopes she would grow up to be a very lovely woman with all the grace possible. She is studying at Destiny city university to become a professor herself.
Elder brother (Age 21) - Dong Liang was born on the coldest day of the year, up till then anyway, and thus his name as it means winter. He was born in January when there was over a foot of snow on the ground and more coming. He's grown up hearing the stories of the drive through the snow to get his mother to the hospital, as he came nearly a month early, and the worry he brought his poor family. It's something he's teased about as he's always been a bit of a trouble maker/mischievous. He is studying literature at the moment.
Younger sister (Age 15) - Jiao Liang is the youngest in the family and still in high school. Being the youngest, and female, she is babied by her elder siblings and tends to get away with everything. She's bounced around on what she wants to do when she goes to college, it all depends on her mood or what careers she hears about and finds interesting at the moment. Her name means beautiful, handsome, tender, lovely, and charming. All things her parents hoped to impart upon her.
