Chibi Super Charybdis - 4 damage

It was a rule in Giulia Montgomery’s house that she wasn’t allowed to go out on patrol all by herself. That was a rule she broke as often as she possibly could (a hard job to pull off when her sister was also a senshi and they also had an alarm system), but most of the time, Charybdis was allowed to go out with her best friend, Ara. Ara was a very experienced Senshi who had something a little better than an orking and borking baby seal to distract the bad enemies with. So over the times they patrolled together, Giulia had gotten much better at sprinting away. She actually served as an excellent distraction, between her own bite-sized physique and her shining, glistening companion. That left Ara to blind and damage them! Of course her own Shiny Pup was also good at making the enemies flinch- something exploding into a bright light and screaming in their ear was very unpleasant.

She was bouncing along with Ara, looking forward to some senshi time, when her friend seemed to sense something. Did she feel that? Her head swiveled, brow furrowing; before she could even sense it she could see it, the energy shooting into the sky not far away. “I… dunno.” The seal senshi took a nervous step back; Ara seeming like she might be nervous about something was enough to make Charybdis feel a bit cautious. “That’s big, though.” And where big things happened, she was probably needed, wasn’t she? Maybe Giulia wasn’t grown-up, and maybe she couldn’t really fight people, but this was why she had been given magic. So if Ara was going to run off and fight, Charybdis was going to be right by her side, until someone told her she had to escape and go home.

Her gloved hand slipped boldly into the older girl’s, and she nodded to her best friend. “I’m with you.” Charybdis confirmed, and stretched out her skinny legs to the max to try and keep up with the more powerful senshi. Of course, this run was not the first time in the last few years that she had been glad that Jada was big on making sure Giulia did her cardio; even with her magic she would have been winded by the jog if she wasn’t so used to running all the time!

Seeing the monster was pretty awful. It was soooooo big; Charybdis had never seen a youma that looked this large. It was bigger than a building, and while its aura didn’t feel Chaos-bad (and there seemed to be several Chaos people here trying to fight it) it was still definitely going to be a problem for the city if it made its way past the people fighting it. “Okay.” Charybdis agreed with her friend, and looked around for something she could do. She needed to do her part to help fight, but against this monster it would be bad- Shiny Pup was more likely to hurt the people fighting the monster than hurt the monster itself.

She rushed forward, towards the monster’s head, and threw a rock at it. “SEAL PUP!” she cried valiantly, hoping she could get the monster’s attention to focus on her little pup-

Who pranced around in front of the scaly monster, orking and borking loudly and joyously. If only the monster would try and eat her pup, maybe someone else would have the opportunity to hurt it!

Quote:
Charybdis creates what looks to be a baby seal. It is clearly magical. It is very cute, and the soft little squeaks it makes encourage everyone to look at it. And not at Charybdis herself. It is precious and pure. With very big, wet, cute eyes. It can remain in a 10 foot area of where Charybdis cast the ability, flopping aimlessly towards her enemies and making soft little chuffy-whuffy noises. Seal Pup can be used 3 times and it is effing adorable. The seal remains for 20 seconds unless viciously attacked; once attacked, it cries for 5 seconds and vanishes (either at the end of the 5 seconds or at the end of its duration if attacked late). (TL;DR: Look! A Distraction!)

Charybdis is open for additional interaction

General Benitoite
Damage: 11

He knew the star festival would be tainted by some sort of magical madness, it was unavoidable. Every holiday in this city was plagued by some sort of nonsense and he knew it...and he accepted it. So when he felt this massive eneergy signature while out he'd sent a quick message to Corsuvite to let him know, he knew the other would not be pleased if he dove into some sort of battle without telling him. Once the message had been sent he'd taken off towards the signature, as well as the gathering smaller signatures.

What he wasn't expecting, though perhaps he should have expected it, was the signature of a princess.

Watching her attack it he summoned his own spear as he approached her. "Looks like for once we're on the same side. Count of magic to mess with the holidays." The general joked, because really how else did one deal with this city and it's random acts of magical chaos? You had to laugh and make jokes about it.

Hefting his spear he threw it towards the great beast. "Next time we cross paths. Not tonight though." Not when they had a common enemy, plus he might very well have Mason to deal with after this.

Dark sense of humor anyone? This city is bs, right Ganymede? Can't even enjoy a holiday.

Corrupt Senshi Lazurite- Damage 2

Lazurite couldn’t ignore a direct order from her General, though the idea of a large scale battle had her quaking in her stylish and slightly impractical shoes...and the idea of a senshi royal made her want to just...vomit up the dinner she had just eaten...but.

She was a good soldier and now here she was, hurrying to the scene where a huge monster was...being a huge monster.

Honestly, taking one look at the thing almost had her turning right around to run but...but then she saw her General and couldn’t be seen as a complete and total coward. “G-general Jet! Lazurite here reporting for um...duty…do...how do...I…”

She struggled to keep the rising panic from her voice and...didn’t do a great job. “...Ideas? Um. Sir?”

There were people throwing rocks. She could throw a rock too! And she tried. It wasn’t her fault that the thing didn’t go far at all…

It was the thought that counted anyway.

Super Sailor Cetus of Kappa:
Damage:6

He hadn't been around in a long time, longer than he'd even realized, but he'd been busy in China with family. He'd decided to pick himself up for a while and leave Destiny City in order to train as well as spend time with family back in China. It had been a good brea - a needed break. He'd spent time with family and gotten closer to them, especially the older members who weren't as keen to use computers to communicate visually. But now it was time to return to Destiny City and with it he had to power up and continue with his duties as a senshi.

He hadn't powered up in a long time, it wasn't safe to do so elsewhere, and almost as soon as he did he'd sensed all sorts of things. It felt like a breath of fresh air to power up again, to be able to sense things you otherwise couldn't. But the signatures and the power...that was unexpected.

Following the signatures took him more time than it used to, he really needed to get used to being powered up again, but when he did find the cause of things he wasn't too surprised. It did freeze him up for a moment - it really had been too long. It felt shocking to be in such a posistion again...against a large monster and to see so many powered people.

The only good thing he supposed was that his magic came to him without thought or even real consideration. He went right for his magic, because there was no way attakcing it physically would do much.

"Deep Illusion." Sending his magic out towards the monster he now took a moment to honestly look at those around who were fighting as well. So many. Most he didn't know...if not everyone. That was fine by him, he was good on his own.

Quote:
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Deep Illusion!
Pointing his middle finger at his forehead he than will point his index finger at his intended target, someone within an eight food radius of him, and send out a green light as he calls his attack. The attack this time will last for 25 seconds and can be used twice in battle. When the attack hits the target will be sunk into a strong illusion where they will feel as if they are in water and grabbed and pulled deeper into the water as they are bitten by the hungry kappa that is dragging them deeper.

Sailor Pleione, Senshi of Fog:
Damage: 8

He honestly didn't know why he bothered powering up, he really didn't, it wasn't like he made a good senshi and he knew it. He didn't like it but he'd already accepted that. He had mopre important things to do, like college, and other things. He had kept close to his family and worked hard in school and didn't allow himself a lot of time otherwise, aside from hurling practice and matches. He didn't feel like he needed to.

Tonight though things has started to feel strange, even for him, and even as a civilian he knew the cities issues with magic and things happening around holidays and celebrations of any sort.

That was why after hurling practice he'd headed away from where anyone might see him and powered up. He might not give much for being a senshi, he had never had a reason to, but he always kept the pen around. Partically he kept it with him so no one in his family found it. The other reason was in case he ever needed it, like now.

He was glad he had it because when he did power up he felt a lot of thigns- it was over whelming really. When he did arrive at whatever was happening all he could think to do, aside from stare, was grab a rock and throw it at the monster. It wouldn't do much but he was not much of a senshi either.

(Someone please help this baby. Someone needs to teach him, after this all, how to be a senshi and why to be one. I wanna actually do things with him. pls help.)

[Caer Sidi, Page of Cosmos: 2 DMG]

There was no question. Hyperborea didn't even have to tell her; Caer Sidi was already nodding as soon as she spoke. She took Hype's hand and climbed onto Cerynitis, taking a deep breath.

"Let's go," she said, not that she needed to tell Hype or Cerynitis to get them there.

When they arrived, she hopped off the magical deer. Her little suncatcher wouldn't do much for her, so instead, she reached for the ground, scooping up a rock and hurling it at the great beast.

"Be careful, Hype!" she called, as if the warning would matter. Among the many things about Hyperborea that she was fond of, her bullheaded bravery was...well. It was charming, in the way of a bold knight who protected a fair princess.

[Mycenae, Page of Mercury: 2 DMG]

It was impossible to miss the beast that had appeared in the city like a great, glowing Godzilla. Mycenae was not one to get himself involved in unnecessary fights, but this fight, he was fairly certain, was very, very necessary. There was no standing on the sidelines--not with sometihng like that bearing down on things.

So he booked it to the outskirts of the city where the beast lurked, and it was without an ounce of hesitation that he scooped up a rock, tossed it in the air, and hit it at the monster with his shilleagh like a baseball.

"Hells," he said, under his breath. This was going to be deeply troublesome, he was sure.

Transcendent Eternal Sailor Encke: DMG = 5

The blast of energy was what caught Encke's attention, the aura blinking on his mental radar more like a bright star than the typical murky and sickly auras he dealt with. He also knew it was still definitely a problem.

Somehow, he wasn't surprised that this was happening on a holiday.

Honestly, at this point, Encke figured that holidays just meant problems. When did they not?

He attempted to insist his sister not tag along as he powered up and darted toward what he felt was the source -- which didn't take him terribly long to verify, considering how tall this reptilian thing stood once he grew close to it. The blast of energy into the air was also a fairly good signal, he decided, though he still fished his senshi phone out and found himself pressing on the distress signal for anyone who may have been looking for the source.

The GPS would also reveal that there were plenty of Chaos signatures nearby, but it seemed they were just as occupied with defeating whatever this was as the Order signatures were. Well. Encke guessed that would do for now, though he'd have to keep an eye on them in this mess. He could feel a few general-level auras in the vicinity--

He pointed his finger toward the adversary and shouted, "Ionization!" figuring that the monster was taking up enough pure space he didn't have to worry too much about the area of effect, only to hear someone running up behind him.

"Anser, what did I tell you--"

Quote:
If anyone needs an excuse, Encke used the phone distress signal app to ping out a notification to senshi cell phones and knight rings!

Quote:
"Ionization!" (Offensive / Attack) - Encke points his left pointer finger forward at his adversary and shouts, "Ionization!" Suddenly, the air around the adversary sounds like it is crackling, and before long, small purple-blue sparks begin to hit their body, causing the sensation of small shocks all over them. Effectively, the air around them has become conductive and ionized, like plasmas.
(Uses: Twice per battle.
Duration: 30 seconds
Range: 10ft radius around the target.
Weaknesses: This attack does not really discriminate--if he is within the ten foot radius, he will get shocked just as much as the adversary is.

Chibi Super Sailor Anser: DMG = 10

"You told me not to come!" chirped Anser, shooting her brother a wide grin as she stopped beside him. Her skirts and bows flared out around her as she twirled, still far too excited about battling even considering the giant reptilian monster in front of her.

She ignored the side-eye her brother gave her. Anser thought he should be used to this by now. It had been a few years since she had become a senshi!

... And she was still a chibi, but she would ignore that part.

"Besides!" Anser cracked her knuckles. "I know exactly how to take out giant lizards. You see this kinda s**t in video games all the time."

She ignored her brother as she opted to take a swing at one of the lizard's legs instead. Anser felt her knuckles smack against the lizard's leg and let out a bark of victory, ignoring the dismayed expression Encke gave her as she darted to figure out the next best possible weak spot.

Super Sailor Monoceros - 3 damage

Damn. Monoceros had had a feeling something would happen. It was the Star Fest, after all. And frankly, after what happened last year, he'd been pretty sure something cuckoo would happen again.

Weirdo Godzilla Thing wasn't on his list of possibilities, but then again, he didn't exactly have a list anyway. Taking a deep breath, he headed towards the threat, taking note of all the people who were also gearing up to fight. Okay, cool.

With a shout, he cast his Quill Flash, smirking in satisfaction as some of the quills hit their mark.

Paradise, Page of Cosmos - 9

It had been a lovely night on the town, watching the fireworks, keeping an eye out for monsters, spending time with her husband. Thankfully there was a monster that showed up. Okay, not thankfully but it would give her something to do, and a reason to wear her fancy Page dress, and to gush over her husband’s handsome Page uniform.

“You know, as much as I love the way you look in your dress uniform, this isn’t so bad,” Paradise smiled up at him, starry eyed about how handsome he was. “A little rugged. Almost like Robin Hood. Oh, should we call the boys? Wait, no, Peter is supposed to be taking care of the little ones tonight, I think. Have you talked to Michael yet? No, I suppose this isn’t the time to discuss our son’s need for therapy,” she answered for herself and turned to look back up at the monster that had appeared.

There were plenty of other Senshi and Knights around. All were much younger, but that was fine. She was still in good shape for her age. And people were living longer and longer every year!

“Help me find a weapon. You can’t just run up to it and punch it. Or maybe you can…” she trailed off, looking thoughtfully in its direction.

Empyrean, Page of Jupiter - 6

Empyrean arrived, took one look at the massive creature, and decided, “I’m too old for this.”

At seventy, many would likely argue that he was, in fact, too old, but being remarkably healthy and in excellent shape for his age, Empyrean never felt it until that moment, staring at the oversized body of the reptilian monster with its sights set on Destiny City.

When he awoke as a Page several days ago, he thought, This won’t be so bad. I was getting restless in my retirement anyway.

Now, all he could think was, I should be at home enjoying a glass of wine.

Their children had been doing this for years? And somehow survived this long?

At least his wife was handling it well. A bit too well, in fact. Perhaps Peter and Paris had been right about keeping her away from the magical war. This monster could flatten her with a single step. (Nevermind that it could do the same to him.)

“Darling, I really don’t think punching it would be advisable,” Empyrean said, quiet and patient, used to his wife’s antics.

All he had at his disposal was an old, rusty anemometer. No magic, just his brute strength and a device to measure wind speed. Empyrean’s decades of military service had not prepared him to face Godzilla without adequate firepower.

He threw the anemometer at the monster’s flank, for all the good it would do. (Likely none.)

Sailor Beira - (2)

Beira shouldn’t even have been out tonight; it was pure fluke that he’d been running late, and even more of a fluke that he’d been powered up. One minute, he thought the most dangerous part of his evening was going to be handling a youma.

...He had no idea how to anticipate, how to handle a giant, glowing monster on the outskirts of town.

It didn’t seem like he was alone, at least; there were other energy signatures in the area. He could see a few faces, but none that he recognized--unsurprising, given how solitary he tended to be when handling all of these powered affairs.

He didn't have much on him, excluding the new Star Charm he'd picked up, but that was little more than a fancy trinket. He didn’t think throwing a rock would damage the creature, but he hoped to at least distract it--or help draw it away from the city until they could manage it.

It seemed like others had the same idea, and when he realized he was close to Mycenae, he asked, “Do you know what’s going on here?”

Corrupt Sailor Psilomelane: 8

Psilomelane had been walking the city, looking it over, learning it, prodding into streets and shops and festival stalls and five-way intersections in search of a memory, or a ghost of a memory, or a feeling, or anything to connect her to this place. But rather than remembering, she felt marvel — awe of the old stone that comprised the city's more beautiful buildings, the sleek newness of the stucco building next to it, the seedy district streets where bars were open late and people slalomed over the sidewalk, giving up their hard-bought dinners to it. She recalled none of it, and thus it was new.

But that marvel dissipated once a drunk attempted-draining-target leaned on her, slurred out some nonsense she couldn't decode, and threw up on her skirts. She tried to drain him, though she couldn't recall how, so she slapped him. Then she left him as he melted onto the sidewalk, and made her way up to the roofline.

Then she saw something akin to a gamma ray burst. She didn't pause to wonder how she knew what that was.

Next came another unfamiliar buzzing, a sense of urgency. She felt about herself, cringed when she remembered where she stowed her communicator, and gingerly pried apart the vomit-sticky folds of her skirt pocket to pick the thing out of its wet, stained home.

— General Jet. All available Negaverse Agents and Senshi… She listened on, fidgeted with the pen until she remembered how to open it to tablet form. On the screen, flashing red, were GPS coordinates. The tool had some kind of map functionality, too. Good, she needed it.

She'd listen as she went. Vomit-streaked skirt now forgotten, Pavo Psilomelane followed her tablet's pathing through Destiny City's choked thoroughfares. All the while, she stole glances at the sky, expecting another barrage of bright to paint the city in darkness. She swallowed her dread; she had orders, and they hadn't included panic.

When she'd arrived, a small army collected around a column of pure light in crocodilian shape. She squinted at it, then at the ground nearest it, and circled about it while she had enough distance to do so. She'd go in from the side. She couldn't remember her magic, but she knew how to kick. Somehow.

She sprinted toward it, spun into a kick, and struck the thing to… Very little effect. She wasn't sure how it felt solid. Wasn't sure what they should do about it. No one else looked any more wise to it. Whoever Jet was sounded reasonably in charge, so she fell back to look for anyone who might answer to that name.
