There’s just so many things going on, scattered about...it’s quite easy to get turned around. Perhaps you come across a lost, crying child who just wants their mommy...or maybe it is you who are lost? Either way, something must be done about this! What will it be?

Carnivals and fairs were not his thing, never had been and never would be, and yet here he was. He didn’t want to be, and his face said as much, but one of his elder sisters had dragged him here as she wanted to check out some of the rides. The reason she got him to join her? Simple really...the idea of how dangerous the fairs and events had been lately. He didn’t want her to get hurt - right? So he had to come with her to keep her safe. At least that was her reason for making him join her, he wasn’t so sure though.

She had been running around, or at least moving around rather quickly, from booth to booth and ride to ride and somewhere in the crowds he’d gotten a bit turned about and lost sight of his sisters head of dark hair.

Now he had to somehow find her...amongst all the people - great. The luck he figured he’d have in this endeavor was absolutely zero, he was sure he wouldn’t find her till they were headed home. He knew he could call his sister, he wasn’t stupid, but there was little to no chance of her hearing her phone in this crowd with it in her purse. It was a waste.

Sighing he shook his head, fingers tangling for a moment in his dark hair, as he headed through the crowd in the direction he thought he’d seen her headed. It was as some of the crowds parted, forming sort of distinct lines for rides, that he spotted a rather lost looking child. They were looking this way and that and normally he wouldn’t care about a lost person...but this was a child and they were innocents for the most part.

That in mind Fai headed his way towards her and knelt down to ask her if she was lost. With her confirming that he took her hand and assured her that he’d help her. That in mind he headed her, calmly, towards security seeing as they had means of communication that would allow them to better search for her parents than he could do on his own. Taking her to them he explained things to them, letting the girl see their badges and assuring her that she’d be safe with them - they’d find her parents.

He gave her his name, as she did ask for it, before he went back to trying to find his own sister. He really was going to need to talk to her...maybe he could get a tracking device and place it in her purse? That way he could find her in the future and this sort of thing could be avoided. At least he’d done some good while being lost, he’d helped a small child, so it wasn’t all that bad...though it wasn’t all good either - not even close.

When he did find his sister she was stepping off one of the ugly, old, swans for the tunnel of love ride. Ignoring the male who was getting off with her, save for the moment he’d taken to glare at the male, he went to take his sister by the arm and inform her of how she really needed to make sure he was with her. He was not going to get lost in a crowd again and look around like some lost puppy dog for her...it was too hot out for this. He was only here for her anyway - to keep her safe. How could he do that if she got separated from him? It defeated the purpose of him being here.

When she decided to offer, as an apology, some cold desert from a food truck he accepted...it was hot after all and he wanted to cool off.

He’d tell her, over desert, about the child.
