As the group began to venture further down the hallway, a few things became more evident; in addition to some of the random rooms, there seemed to be one very important room just ahead. There was a sign in sheet, dated for today, with only a few scribbled names and times. There was a shiny brass bell sitting on the counter, and two chairs behind the desk. Voices had been chattering in the back room behind the desk, but after all the commotion they fell silent, as if listening for further disturbances. When none arose, the voices picked back up immediately. They hadn't been sensed just yet…but if they kept talking so loudly and breaking down doors… The sword that Myrrha had found must have been left by some sloppy Negaverse agent; it did not seem to be a truly powerful weapon, and upon first glance it probably seemed like a good choice. It was an old training weapon; the blade was chipped and had small cracks in it. It might serve for a battle, but this weapon had been discarded for a reason—it was old, and flawed. She would need to be careful that she didn't cut herself or break the blade. There were a few other loose weapons lying around, but these seemed in fairly poor condition as well. Spacewatch's magic was a burst of luck, though she had the unfortunate luck of blasting through the door of a well-stocked cleaning closet. A potent chemical aroma filtered into the hallway; something acrid seemed to have spilled when the door slammed into it. In one of the nearby open rooms, pocket first aid kits were sitting in a box atop a desk. It seemed as though they had a fresh shipment; there were many unpacked boxes, and what seemed to be a supply check list sitting in plain sight. The list largely was comprised of medical supplies, including bandages, hydrogen peroxide, an array of medicine, several syringes, and some larger packaged first aid kits. Many of the boxes were unlabelled, but this room seemed to be a storage unit for basic medical care. There were several other doors down the winding hallway; in plain sight was another room that seemed to be set up as an Infirmary. Here, there were several beds and sheets hanging from the ceiling. There were stethoscopes, vials, and some stitching equipment someone had left out. Logically, it was near the First Aid Storage Room. More than that, a few smaller rooms were set up as temporary housing; they were barren of personal affects and possessed wooden cots with thick woolen blankets. There were books and papers—reading material—in every room. A Training Room was in the distance, though with the bends in the hallway it might have been out of sight. It was full of stuffed dummies for training, weights and gym equipment. Further beyond that was a closet fully stocked with dry food and water. Quote: For Order: To explore a room further please bold your choice at the top of your post and bold any actions! Be cautious though, too much noise might bring unwanted attention. Of course…you also have the option of seeking out those sneaky Negaverse Agents before they get up to no good… Please make sure to quote this mule when interacting with objects in the rooms or doors so we can keep up with the interactions!

Sabine, Senshi of TacticsSabine continued down the hall, keeping her pace as slow and steady as she dared. When she saw the desk and the room with the sign in sheet however, she grinned. Hearing the voices on the other side made her grin even wider. Moving as quietly as she could, she moved to press her ear to the door to see if she could hear what was going on behind it. She also tried to get a good look at the sign in sheet as she moved by.Hopefully it wouldn't get any louder and she wouldn't have to worry about being caught by whoever was on the other side.

They'd only just made their way inside and already people were being stupid.
“Even if they don't sense us, they're going to hear us,” Perdita said.
She eyed Oberon, not with fear, but with worry. She wasn't afraid of what might happen, but she'd hoped to have more time to explore and gather what supplies they could before they were noticed by anyone. She felt the aura of a group of Negaverse agents. They could prove to be a bit of a problem, despite the numbers entering the barracks.
More than the Negaverse officers, there was something else that intrigued her, that pulled at her senses and beckoned her down the hall. Perdita wasn't sure what it was, but she thought it best to follow it. She was too curious to leave it alone.
“Come on,” she told Oberon, motioning for him to follow. “This way.”
She didn't want to split up more than necessary. It would be dangerous to go on her own. At least with Oberon and Chara, who seemed to be following the pull as well, she wouldn't be completely defenseless.
Perdita looked into a few rooms as she passed by their doorways, but she didn't move in to explore them. It seemed a few others were already doing that, in any case. They'd soon have the necessary supplies, whether that be first aid equipment or weapons.
“What do you think it is?” she asked both Oberon and Chara, trailing close behind the latter. “It feels strange, and... it's almost like I can hear voices, but I can't figure out what they're saying.”

Cordoba // Sailor AlsafiCordoba quieted, listening as she looked around. If they were in fact heard, The page crept to study the rooms, frowning as she drew up to think carefully, eyes narrowing thoughtfully as she looked around. The infirmary might had medical supplies they could use, things she could utilize with the others to help cover the wounded, meaning helping.... Cordoba turned to Babylon, and spoke, tone lower. " I'm going to the Infirmary for supplies." She said quietly, but with a tone of assurance. "We might need them." The page bowed, and turned, rolling her heel to try lessening the clack of her heels as she approached the Infirmary and crept inside, slowly, cautiously beginning to rifle through cupboards and drawers for medical supplies.Alsafi was having a harder time remaining calm, the fledgeling senshi almost vibrating. Books and reading materials and that BELL.... personal effects weren't there, but the senshi stretched, and began to sashay down the hall, hips swaying as she began looting the temporary housing of books and anything that wasn't furniture. She had pockets, right? Well she'd worry more later. She needed to find a bag. If nothing else, the basic was happily getting some treasure, and she kept her eyes peeled for a lighter as she went.
"mmmm. Pillaging is goood." She crooned happily.
Silverah Well at least Cordoba is thinking.

Avalon of Earth"Shut up," hissed Avalon to the shouty senshi (Alsafi), even as she located a sword and scooped it up. The weight was odd, too light for her blood, but it still felt better than anything else she'd taken in hand in recent memory. Her arm was complete again!... " Babylon, let me know if you see anything less. training-y." Avalon walked down the hall, every bit as if she belonged there; this place was familiar in the way that her Wonder was, though substantially less welcoming. Probably she'd known it, before. She snatched the sign-in sheet and looked it over with a critical eye.

Castor Page ApteraShe sent Myrrha and Oort each a small smile upon being addressed though if she was being completely honest to herself she was struggling to keep up with what was happening already and the small smile on her part brought a bit of aid to maintaining her calm. "I think it's advisable not to get too disconnected in small groups from being able to reach either the exit or other groups comprising our whole party as well as not to linger in cleaning supply scented air." She decided to also join some of the party having a look in the first aid storage room for a number of moments. Then because she suspected that supplies did not just appear and stock stores in this dimension, she picked up the supply list and scanned it. Perhaps the sheet of paper would have some helpful information, such as a supplier or multiple of them listed and if so, said list could be of assistance in pinpointing any supplier on Earth that's in cahoots with criminal activities based in this magical realm of darkness. Therefore, if the paper she'd picked up seemed of promising use, then she'd slip it alongside one of the first aid kits she had pocketed earlier, too. ((My apologies, I added the second NPC to the quote list.))

Sailor Etamin, Senshi of HieroglyphicsEtamin hadn't been paying attention when everyone went through the portals. He was way behind, and at the last moment, jumped in one that turned out to be the barracks. He raced in and ended up at Cadmus's feet. Unoderi oo sorry I'm late, please catch me up?

How was all this happening at once? One moment she was just walking home and then she met Brioche and her whole world changed. But it really hadn't been her world then had it. It was that things became known to her that had been hidden within her. She had been with Brioche when all of a sudden everything seemed to go insane. She was still new to all of this and now there were portals, and others were jumping into them. She was nervous and wasn't sure what to do and saw Sailor Etamin go through a portal and it seemed she was one of the few last ones that hadn't. She was still very uncertain about a lot of things but she was confident that something was going to work out. She picked Brioche up and she looked at him and then at the portal and jumped through the portal with him. "Here we go." She said slightly unsure. She could sense so many things about the place and she could see there were others around but she was so uncertain for a moment but she knew there were things that had to be done so she pushed that fear behind her. She was almost an adult and needed to get a grip. She could see that others had gone inside the barracks but she didn't want to go barging in just yet. She needed to get a sense of her surroundings and figure out a strategic plan. "Any Ideas?" She said setting him down. She figured they could go inside but she needed a weapon, her magic was just defensive and that wouldn't do her any good if someone showed up unless she took them on hand by hand. Which she wasn't very good at yet. Kapoodles If anyone would like to help me out that would be great. this is my first meta and second time rping her.

Babylon Knight of Mercury is following Avalon to the room with the sign-in sheet.Babylon balled up a corner of his cape and pressed it over his mouth, though it helped only marginally against the chemical odor that had filled the air. He answered Avalon's request with a quick, "Will do," but he doubted anything would turn up. These barracks had quickly revealed themselves to be a training ground first, and the Negaverse didn't seem so lax as to leave better weaponry lying around where just anyone could pick it up. The rest of their group was beginning to disperse. Babylon cast Shangri-La and Maia a look. "You coming, or are we splitting up?"He didn't wait for a reply before following Avalon, unwilling to let her out of his sight. "What are we dealing with?" he asked, glancing at the sign-in sheet. The conversation behind the door was too muffled to tell what was being discussed, or even how many people there might have been... He leaned forward on the counter, and, concentrating, tried to feel their signatures.NovaCracker Group has officially split up, I think. Keep up the good work, Cordoba. You do you, Alsafi.

Sailor Cetus, behind Sabine. There was no way he was letting the group he was with out of his sight. That was why when Sabine had started into the barracks he had followed. He knew his shoes would be an issue so he had, before entering, bent down to untie and remove them. Now with socked feet he didn't make much sound as he followed behind her. The smell of cleaning products had his nose wrinkled up, it was one of those very strong smells that stuck with you, and he really wished people wouldn't go breaking in doors - you never knew what was behind it....such as cleaning products. it was a wonder the owners of those voices hadn't caught the scent of the cleaning products alone and come to investigate.
Coming up behind Sabine he made sure she would notice him, so he didn't startle her, as he set a hand on her shoulder gently. If that door opened he was yanking her behind himself and handling whatever may come. He wasn't a super senshi, like his cousin, but at least he had training in how to fight and defend himself - and others.
Shaking his head at the noise going on he closed his golden eyes for a moment. He knew they were whispering, keeping their voices down, but did they really need to communicate outside of taps, points, mouthing words? If they were aiming for stealth he'd hope people wouldn't make a peep - hell he'd even taken off his own shoes and had found a group of rocks to hide them under.

Chibi Sailor Iduna, Senshi of Apples
She held Cadmus' hand tightly, looking around with one hand clutching the apple broach on her bow. Maybe it would help protect her if she held it. The barracks whispered to them, things she couldn't understand, but she desperately wanted to know what it was. Perhaps it would help them, perhaps it would help her feel not so scared.
Or it would kill her. Or she'd die to her curiosity in the worst way possible.
Cadmus' shiver was echoed within Iduna.
Another chibi (Spacewatch) blew open a storage closet and Iduna jumped, hand squeezing Cadmus' again. She looked up at the taller senshi promising to keep them safe, as well as the other chibis and everyone as they arrived in. Iduna waved at Etamin with her free hand. She glanced down the hall briefly, then back at Cadmus.
"It looks like they have an infirmary set up in here... do you want to check it out? Seems safer than running around with Comet girl at least," she said, eyeing Spacewatch warily. Just what they needed. Someone quick to attack and loud to boot. That wasn't going alert everyone in the barracks to their presence at all. This was supposed to be the safer place, but all that was gunna do was

Sabine, Senshi of Tactics - Ear pressed against the door with the voicesSabine, to her credit, didn't jump when the hand was set on her shoulder. Instead she lifted a hand, one finger extended, as if begging for a moment, before she slowly turned her head to look over her shoulder at Cetus. Giving him a small nod, she motioned to the side of the door with two fingers, as if directing him to go there. Then she returned to pressing her ear to the door to continue trying to hear what the voices were saying.

Harmonia, Super Senshi of Harmony - Near the desk with the list Harmonia coughed at the chemical smell wafting from the cleaning closet. She quickly help a hand up to cover her mouth and nose to try and stifle her coughing and the horrible smell. With eyes slightly watering she followed Babylon and Avalon as they made their way down the hallway to the room with the list. Her brows furrowed and she lowered her hands, speaking in a hushed tone so as not to alert whomever the voices belonged to. "Is that like a clock in list or something? Maybe people who were or are here?" She questioned as she glanced at the list in Babylons hand. Her eyes shifted slightly to the bell and empty desk chairs. She got the distinct feeling that it was like an office of some sort? The sound of the voices made her feel uneasy, but as long as they continued talking and didn't stop again they were in good shape. She watched in slight horror though as a senshi pressed her ear on the door. Oh god, please don't make any noise that will alert whoever is in there.

Tomlin, Guardian CatTomlin’s tail lashed as he followed Chibi Oort into the long building. “Yeah, I feel that,” he responded quietly. The faint almost-whispers tugged at his consciousness and his curiosity, but he’d already been dragged along by one mysterious summons today. If this was another Caedus, they were having some strong words about the correct way to ask for help. He could feel the aura-dampening from the green crystal was already fading out. They weren’t going to have much time at all, even if he and the other cat present could work out some of their own energy-shielding. He wrinkled his nose at the chemical stink coming from the newly opened cupboard, but he was possibly one of the only ones who seemed pleased with the outcome. “Gooood,” he hissed approvingly at Spacewatch, “now their cats won't smell us out.”Cleaning chemicals would probably also burn horrifically if Oberon went ahead with lighting stuff on fire, he thought. But not until the infirmary was cleared out. Enemies or not, the soft-hearted cat was not going to be able to allow that. He shot a worried glance at the room the voices were coming from, and the adults hovering around the sign-up sheet. He vaguely recognised the Mercury Knight from a Jovian meeting, but it had been a long time. “Someone stick a chair under that door handle or something," he suggested. He didn’t think Babylon was the type to burst in and murder the bedridden, but he didn’t recognise the others with him, and one had already grabbed a sword like it was second nature. He turned back to Oort, nodding. “Yeah, I’m with you. Gimme a sec.” Tomlin began tearing at some sacking that had held supplies, trying to claw off a large enough piece to drape over his back and head and further obscure the pale copper-orange star that already blended in with his ginger fur. "Chaos cats look just like us, but with a darker star,” he explained to Oort, in case he wasn’t aware. “So if I can cover up a bit, maybe we can bluff whoever’s down here.”

Babylon Knight of MercuryThe cat had good ideas. Babylon nodded to Tomlin and stepped around the desk. Picking up one of the chairs, he stepped up beside the two senshi in front of the door and sort of... shoved the chair in between them, so that the back was wedged under the door handle. "'Scuse me," he said belatedly to Cetus and Sabine, stepping back. He looked down at his handiwork and decided he was rather proud of it. That should buy them some time while the rest of the party raided the barracks.
