There had been so many new faces that Phact had to admit she was a bit worried after she had been able to process the events of the past few days. Knights, senshi...so many had gazed at her confused and looking for help.
One of them had made her wonder. Sidouer's cousin.
Mei had not mentioned her cousin coming into town so meeting him had startled her. Family in the war was always hard on someone. But he seemed to have things together.
Pulling out her senshi phone, Phact took a guess and sent a text to the number she had been give. Cetus, this is Phact. If the weather doesn't bother you, would love to chat more.
She left it at that and waited for a response.

It wasn't that he had just come into town, more that he had only just come into being a senshi recently and had not known of his cousins double life. He could understand why, of course, though he wasn't pleased with it. Had he known he'd have gotten her into martial arts of some kind, any style, in order to protect herself better. Now that he was involved with this war...well he planned on getting her into something - soon.
He knew his senshi phone number, and likely his civilian number, had likely been passed about by Mei to those she trusted and he would trust her judgement. He doubted she would steer him wrong, it wasn't like her, so when he got the message on his phone he sent a text back stating that the weather didn't bother him - they did have coats right? Asking for the location he said he could be there soon, wherever the location would be.
Maybe he should think about changing his shoes, or rather geta, once he powered up from now on? it might be a good idea, given how uncomfortable geta could be and unhelpful if he had to run as they were likely to trip him or cause some injury. Thinking about this as he waited for a text back from Phact. He didn't know her well, or at all really, but his cousin did and he'd trust Mei - she was family.

The fountain we met at the other night. I will meet you there."
No need to tell the senshi she was already there. She didn't need to make him rush when she was the one who invited him out. Cetus had mentioned before he was a fighter. That was something Phact was interested to know more about. Honestly, there were not as many trained fighters on this side as she believed their could...or should...be.
She sat there waiting until she felt the aura approaching. Smiling, Phact rose to greet her guest. "Hello Cetus. It's good to see you again."

When he did turn up, some fifteen or so minutes later, she was already there. he suspected she had been there the whole time, but no need to ask as it was pointless, walking toward her he nodded his head. "It's good to see you again as well, good night I hope?" He questioned as he stopped in front of her.
"You've recovered well and have been keeping yourself well while donating to the crystal?" He asked, already assuming she was giving some of her own energy to the thing rather than taking from other people. He hoped she was taking care of herself, and he knew if he didn't ask and have an answer Mei would scold him. Although Mei might already know the answer herself and just not have mentioned anything....always a possibility since the two were friends.

"A cold and nice night. Clear and beautiful." She smiled up at the star filled sky. Snow storms was just evil...
"And thank you for asking. I am doing much better than the last time we saw each other. But I think it put some people at ease." She said with a warm smile towards him. "And yourself? Making sure to keep yourself healthy through all this?"
Phact came towards him so they were not screaming. He seemed truly like a good man. Especially if he was Mei's family. "Forgive me but I must ask, have you been a senshi long? I have know Sidouer for several years now and she has not mentioned you."

"Yes, of course it would. Though I'd think the mass demonstration the previous night would have done it." He said with a rolling of his golden eyes. The previous nights demo, by so many, in front of Caedus had worked for him. People had lost energy but none had dropped, died, and no monsters. It had all gone well, or at least as well as it could he supposed.
"Of course, I'm doing well. I can't complain." Watching her come closer he found himself laughing and shook his head. "Only recently, this winter. I didn't know about Mei being a senshi till soon after." Or he'd have had her learning martial arts by now. He wouldn't have let her continue without training, he was protective over his family.
"She wouldn't have likely had a reason to mention me, till recently, so it's no surprise." He added in with a shrug of his shoulders. "She's been good, provided me with the numbers of her contacts." So he was prepared if he needed help ever.

"That comes with the job sadly." Phact smiled at the mention of Mei not saying anything until now. "She and I discovered each other on accident. I am grateful to have met her. Though I must ask you..."
Her tone shifted slightly to something more serious. "Do not call her by her human name even when she is not here. If anyone over heard you that was not friendly, they could easily and quickly make connections. As long as you wear that uniform, you are Cetus and she is Sidouer. Just as I am Phact."
A look to his face for understanding and she nodded. "A glamour protects our appearance but it does not change our names."

"Yes, she didn't mention how you met - I didn't ask." It wasn't his business as far as he was concerned. He just wanted to know that her friends in this were good, solid, friends. He didn't want her dealing with those who might flake on her if she needed them, she was his cousin and he wanted to make sure she was safe and that she had been safe till now.
Well, that was a change in tone, and a bit sudden as well. He could understand the reason but if someone came around they would likely be sensed, if they were close enough to hear the two of them talking. Rather than mention it, he wasn't going to start something with a friend of his cousins, he settled for a simple nod as he didn't trust his tongue at the moment. The information at the end wasn't anything he hadn't learned from Mei though, as she had told him what she could.
He simply had a hard time not calling her by her name, as he'd known her...forever and always called her by her name. A new name for the same person was still rather new and different for him.

The nod was enough for Phact to slip back into her smile. "I apologize Cetus. It's one of the things I worry about. Because you do not know what civilians you come around may be living as much of a double life as you. I don't want to see either of you in trouble." She spoke softly. "It's an annoying caution but a needed one. We cannot sense civilians or even powered in civilian form. So, it's best not to mix the two in name when it can be avoided."
"Anyway, enough of that." She said with a wave of her hand. "So Sidouer did not mention we met because of a giant spider we used as a rodeo bull? Shame. That was always an amusing story."
"But tell me about yourself. I know you love your cousin and you mentioned fighting?"

"No, I'm afarid she did not mention that. I will, after this, be asking her about that." And he might, just might, tease her about it. But he would most certainly be asking her about how she met the senshi of doves, it sounded amusing.
"What do you want to know? You know my cousin, you know I'm a senshi, my sphere is kappa's. I was born here but speak Chinese, the same as my cousin, and I speak Korean - which is what that knight is. He's only just arrived here in the last few months..." He said deciding to chip in that bit of information. "I can help translate when I'm around...but he's working on his English." Rolling his shoulders. He was obviously working on it, it wouldn't make sense to not, but it was a slow process and took time. English was not, from what he'd heard, an easy language to learn.
"Fighting? Ah, martial arts? I assume that's what you mean."

"Do make sure she does not leave out the part about being stuck in a web on a tree." Phact added, her smiling becoming a dark grin.
As he spoke, Phact took in everything. With one hand, she motioned for him to join her on the edge of the fountain. "I wish I could speak multiple languages. It's one of the things I struggle at." She sighed, shaking her head. Even years of Spanish had left her with only the basics. "You are skilled."
"Oh! Martial Arts? That is talent. My own cousin is an MMA fighter so I'm more used to seeing bare knuckles fighting. Martial arts can be rather beautiful."

"I'll keep that in mind." He said slowly, making the mental note to ask his cousin about that particular part. It certainly seemed, now more than a few moments ago, like a very interesting story.
"My parents, like my cousins, are from China. We learned that side by side with English. I wanted to learn Korean since they are China's neighbor, even if i only visit once or twice a year, it is worth learning at least for me. It seems it'll pay off for the first time." He said thinking about the Ganymede knight and the hard time he must be having with living here and now the war he was involve din. English being hard for him would make learning of this war, and more, harder on him.
"It can. I took to learning in order to keep up, and compete, against my cousin despite the distance." Seeing as his cousin was back in China. They would skype and talk about how they'd been doing in competitions and the like. "MMA is different from martial arts, very different. But the discipline is still there, so are the long hours of training needed. It would be worth learning. Martial arts is meant to be beautiful, in a sense, but to serve a purpose as well.
